what if I told you that God created each of our brains in such a special way that if we understood the way that it worked it would enable us to have an even greater success potentially even faster in every single area of our life and I'm going to reveal to you three of the specific brain hacks that I have used in order to become a god-made millionaire and to literally live my dream life and walk in my purpose and defeat things like laziness not being able to have discipline or keep consistent or to figure out
why I keep getting stuck at the same points in my life and I'm going to make sure that each one is exactly what you need to be able to apply it to your life right now today so let's get started the first cool brain hack that God put into our minds is that they love repetition and routine and so there is something called neuroplasticity and it is the brain's ability to reorganize Itself by forming new connections after consistent repeated action you see God designed our brains to thrive on routine why because habits conserve energy we
don't have time to think every single day about what we're going to do and to make all of these decisions and so our brain was designed to be efficient and so we just fall into a routine and do the same thing over and over and over on autopilot which is why it may feel like you have been living the same life for so long because it's like walking through with a wheel buau if you keep going from the well to your house with that wheelbarrow that place in the ground is going to to get deeper
and deeper and deeper every time you go back and forth and then it's going to be much harder to get out and although that can feel kind of discouraging when you're in it the beautiful thing is that you can get out of it and as easily and naturally as your bad habits come to you your brain can be rewired for the good habits to come now how does that work well it starts with creating habits and a routine and it sounds pretty simple but I know that it encouraged me a lot because I realized that
my brain was actually wired for this and that if I kept going through that uncomfortable phase there would would be a time where it was second nature and it was routine to me all I had to do was keep going to establish that new pattern and that new place in the ground for this new wheelbarrow of positive and god-honoring habits to sit and this also applies with repetition and this is why God tells us to memorize scripture and repeat it to ourselves to meditate on it because did you know that our minds are so malleable
that we can be told something that's even a lie and if it is repeated to us consistently even if we know it to be untrue we will start to believe it and this is why so many of us have limiting beliefs we have to overcome from things that other people have told us our entire life and we have to let go of those identity anchors that are sinking us down to the bottom but when you understand this and you take scripture memorization seriously it starts to change everything and this is why for me I can
have joy in every situation because I know that God doesn't withhold any good gift from me because I know that he has a plan for me to prosper because I know that I'm fearfully and wonder F made and that all things are working for my good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose and I know that's me so I know it's all for my good even the traffic jam even the time that I was late to work you know even the business that didn't go the way that I thought that
it would or the friendship that didn't end the way that I wanted it to all of those things are working for my good and because I've repeated it in my head so many times it comes up on automatic autopilot and I believe it and it changes the way that I live my life remember God didn't put the scriptures in there for nothing and all the science simply explaining what God already told us to do get in your Bible memorize and meditate on that word and see how it rewires your brain Pathways so that you believe
and act based on what you believe so the next brain hack is going to sound obvious but hear me out and you'll understand how it really is mind-blowing so most of us probably know about dopamine now the hormone that we get in response to achievements right and so we can actually use this hack to make these big daunting tasks enjoyable because what we do is we break them down into small winds and then each time you complete that small win you get a hit of dopamine to your brain which is what God designed it to
be where you feel that sense of euphoria and accomplishment and joy now the issue that a lot of people have they'll go on like dopamine detoxes and things like that dopamine is not something that needs to be detoxed from itself dopamine is a good thing that was designed to reward us for accomplishing things the issue is when it is used in the wrong way and we use the cheap way of trying to get a quick hit of dopamine like it's some drug as opposed to using it in the best proper response to doing the things
that we should be rewarded for and I'll give you a couple examples so some good dopamine triggers are things like exercise you push through a workout and you get that Runners High ch- Ching that's God's design good job for moving your body learning a new skill if you master a new instrument or language I know for me an Endeavor I'm taking on now is writing and when I get when I figure out the plot for the book when I get over that hurdle of not being able to know where I'm going with my characters or
where the story is going or one of those things and it is just so rewarding to get to that place or when I'm lifting in the gym and I get to a new personal best and you just like yes and it is the best feeling and that is God's reward for you for doing something that is going to actually help you to be able to grow in the areas that you need to grow same thing for completing a tough project whether it's at work or a personal goal and meaningful social interactions the dopamine that we
get from being around loved ones from being around friends and spouses and spending time with our children you see God has designed the brain to reward us for those things that are actually beneficial for us here's where the problem comes in is that we have tried to shortcut this by getting other ways of dopamine so that can be things like social media scrolling checking for likes or new content provides quick dopamine hits without any of the work that it was designed to take to get that eating a bunch of junk food and sugar gives you
that dopamine hit but for what going through the McDonald's drive-thru right not for actually accomplishing anything that's pushing you closer to where you want to be in life binge watching a TV or a TV show or gaming as well as online shopping all of those things scratch that itch and that's why we have to be so mindful of them because it can be so tempting to want to trade out these good things that God has said you can earn that dopamine from for these cheap things that will give you that momentary satisfaction but if you
look at the person whose life is full of exercise and learning new skills and meaningful work and completing tough projects in their vocation and amazing social interactions with friends and family that person is going to have a much more full and satisfied life than the person who is getting those quick fixes like we all have been at some point and maybe you're struggling that right now and I would really encourage you to do that dopamine detox where you remove those things that are giving you that quick fix and seek to only get it from things
that are actually pushing you forward in life like exercise or a new skill or doing something that's actually reading a book that's going to push you closer to where you want to be so when we pursue God's original intent dopamine encourages growth perseverance and real fulfillment rather than a fleeting addictive pleasure this third one is probably the one that blew my mind the most and that changed my perspective on everything and that is the idea of value tagging so let me explain it to you and I hope that you geek out about it just as
much as I did so what value tagging is is the system that our brain does because CU we just looking around look around the room that you're in right now and tell me everything that you notice now I'm going to ask you what color is the carpet now don't look don't look just tell me what color is the wall to your right what color or what texture is the chair that you're sitting on now most people depending on how familiar we are with the room probably wouldn't be able to answer those questions especially not about
a room that you just came in why because we cannot take in everything that we see here touch taste people go crazy I mean it wouldn't be an efficient thing for our brains to do so what does our brain do something called value tagging it assigns value to the things that we say are important which is why when you go into your house you notice those dishes in the sink before you notice anything else because you have assigned value to the sink being clean and the dishes being out of it this is why when you're
about to buy a new car or new shoes or whatever you start seeing it everywhere and you never saw that car anywhere before but now you see it on the road all the time it's not that it just magically appeared before you it's that now your mind has assigned value to it and so you are noticing it and this is super powerful because when we know that this phenomenon happens we can use it for our good and God's glory to assign value to the things that he has said are important so if you say God
I want to start this business and you're praying about it and you set attention and you're reading books and you're enveloping yourself in this environment that is focused on starting this business well when the YouTube video comes up about Christian entrepreneurship you're going to be like oh my gosh like this video is for me like Lord you put this video in front of me and yes the Lord is Sovereign but also the video was probably there before and you just just never noticed it because it wasn't relevant to what you were looking for if you
say Lord I want to be intentional about seeing your Creation in your Earth and I want to travel to six new countries this year and then you go through your mail and you see a flyer for a cruise that takes you to three countries you got that flyer for that cruise every year for the past seven years it's just always going in the junk pal because you weren't paying attention to it and so when you understand that and that what you start assigning value to you will see more of in your life and again not
in some weird University type manifestation way but in that is the way that God designes our brain to work and so we can tap into that by setting intention and saying I'm going to be intentional about pursuing this goal and I'm going to take action towards it our brain will assign value to it and then give us more ability to see the opportunities to be able to actually take those steps of action and this works with your mind and your words as well if you say I always lose those carnival games well then you're going
to only remember the times that you lose those carnival games I had to fix this with myself I used to not get good grades in math when I was in school and because of that I started identifying with that and repeating it to myself I'm just not good at math and so what happened when somebody asked what a math problem was I wouldn't even try because I had already told myself well I'm just not good at math so I'm not going to try and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy and now my brain was wired that
I didn't even try to solve the math problems when they came my way I would just immediately go ahead and say I'm not a good at math but when I caught myself and I stopped doing that and I said okay well I can get better at math or let me think about what the answer to the problem could be and I actually realized I'm kind of decent at math much better than I would have ever given myself credit for and I find myself even able to answer questions faster than most people in the room which
if I would have limited myself I would have never given myself the ability to stretch and grow in that area and so what you tell yourself that you are is just as important as what you tell yourself that you are not and the more you repeat that to yourself you won't give yourself the opportunity to ever get out of that shell and I'll give you a little bonus one since you stayed till the end so did you know that we think 90% of the same thoughts every single day we are not original well again because
it's inefficient to rethink all of your thoughts every day but if you are truly seeking to change your life you are going to have to do the work to call out every single thought that you have allowed your brain to play as truth and really call into question and ask yourself is it true is it true that this is too hard for me is it true that I don't have the time or the money to invest in this thing is it true that that and then when you start analyzing that thing you say oh is
it true that I don't have time let me sit down and look at a schedule of what I do with my time right now and you look at your phone and you see the amount of hours that you spend on social media and then you look at your job and you see that you're you're probably not 100% focused there either and there's time that you spend doing other things even on your lunch break and you look at okay well I'm only at work for eight hours what am I doing with the rest of this time
and then you see that you have been really going in on that Netflix show and so you realize wait I been living under this false pretense that I didn't have enough time the entire time when really the time's been there the entire time and I just never questioned it I just never looked to actually see if the belief that I had was true and if you don't do anything else from this video take accountability for your own life and move from being reactive to proactive if you're going to not do something at least let it
be your choice and not be a product of your circumstances if you're going to choose to not prioritize bettering your life or Reaching Your Potential and if you want to know why most people don't I have a video about that as well about why people don't reach their potential but if you want to make sure that you are not one of those people the best way to do it is to be honest with yourself about what you do what you value and to never let anything be outside of your hands and ultimately we know God
