Man, this project was special, you know? It was something different. What can I say about Ronaldo's machine, It surprised me a lot, like, the machine looks amazing.
I think Ronaldo will be much more surprised than, you know, the people who whatched along and saw the final result. I can't wait to see what he thinks. So, how are you guys?
I really enjoyed visiting Mineirão, I walked around there, got to know Toca da Raposa as well, the game was really cool, great energy all around, and I shook Ronaldão's hand, I gave him that greeting, I couldn't have a long chat with him, there was a lot of people around Ronaldo, but I got what I wanted, which was to say hello to Ronaldão. But now let's go back to reality that we have to finish assembling the computer. I managed to set a date with Ronald, that Ronaldo will be in Brazil, in São Paulo and we will be able to deliver the computer.
So, during this week we have to give him the machine, but I have a short period to finish assembling it and there's still a lot of stuff to do, if you think about it. So let's get our hands dirty, let's work because we have to deliver this machine in the best possible way to Ronaldo. Finally, I finished assembling the hardware.
Man, it was a lot of work, but everything is in its right place. The video card still needs to be added, but I want to fill it with liquid before putting the video card, because it frees up a lot of space here. The video card goes in this area, it practically fills this entire space it has to be millimetrically calculated.
I put this support that keeps the video card horizontal, so it will be on its side here and not how it is traditionally placed on the motherboard. The part of the mini PC, which is a small PC, I put it here at the bottom and it is responsible for running the three front screens. The mini PC is supported on a fan, I made a 3D support to make the cold air flow from below, the fan pushes this air through the mini PC and sends all the air to the top.
This had to be done because the mini PC has a very high processing power, since it runs three 4K screens on the front, by the way I've already made the missing piece in 3D, which wasn't perfect but now we made one that fills the entire front, even a little bit up here and I really liked how it turned out. Well, now we need to put the liquid in this beauty. I need to refrigerate the processor to see how it will all behave, turned on and running tests The tubes that we are going to use are Frost-type rigid tubes, right?
It is like frozen tubes, they are frosted, it is not transparent and the liquid will also be transparent. I think it will look really cool here. We have to do it on both sides, fill it with liquid, put the video cards and then we're going to test this beauty.
I can't wait to see it turned on and with liquid circulating. Let's go, let's work! I managed to finish programming the first two machine modes, Cruzeiro Mode and Valladolid Mode, they are already integrated with the APIs, it's already pulling data from the next games, if you look there, there's Valladolid and Alcorcon, I think that's how you say it, and there's still a very important thing missing, which is, when the machine changes modes, it needs to change the machine's LED colors as well.
This step isn't done yet, it's going to be very challenging, but I'm pretty confident it's going to be pretty cool. I finished this step, it turned out prettier than I imagined, I really liked the golden connections and the matte tube, you know? It looks really cool.
To know if the system has a leak or not, I use this pressure gauge on a pump. So, I pressurize there and start adding pressure on the system. Look, in this case, I have more or less 0.
6 bar of pressure, which is adequate for the watercooler, I can put up to 1 bar of pressure here in the system to test if there will be any problems, do an extreme test. While the system is pressurized here at 0. 6 bar, which is even high.
I'm going to leave the system pressurized here at 0. 6 so we can assemble the other side, meanwhile we're going to see if the pointer goes down or not. If the pointer goes down even a little bit, somewhere pressure is leaking, air is leaking and then it means that liquid is going to leak too.
So this is good to avoid leaks, but you have to be very careful and it's only with the liquid that we'll be sure, after filling it can still happen, but I don't think so. Let's go to the other side. I finished assembling the watercooler, now we have to test it.
As you can already see and you already have a spoiler, because the metal is changing color, the machine is on and a game is running, so the temperature ended up interfering here and this phenomenon of the metal changing color happened. Since everything is set up, now comes the finishing part, right? The tests and especially the details.
Felipe is configuring the lighting part that I already put in, but it's not turned on yet, because he needs to synchronize this lighting with the effects that happen on the screen. He's doing it remotely, but they're going to come here, he and Belmonte, and we're going to finish this machine together and we're going to see how it's all going to look like when it's done. I'm very eager to see this whole machine turned on.
Seeing the machine ready today, it was amazing, like, I was even afraid to come here today, but when I saw the machine ready, I saw the effects, I saw how it is behaving, both the hardware part with the visual effects it's really amazing. The surprise of seeing the computer finished, I missed having that feeling a bit Because, well, the quality of the craftsmanship, the whole project, the system that Felipe created for the machine's modes, man, it's incredible. When we were brainstorming about the machine and wondering what we're going to do we come up with ideas and stuff, we can't get a clear idea or think about the finished computer, how it's going to be and the final presentation and, what can I say about Ronaldo's machine, it surprised me a lot, like, the machine is very beautiful.
Unlike the last project we did, it was the "sentinel", which didn't really look like a computer, this one looks like a computer and it looks like one of the most premium computers possible. It's a wonderful machine, it looks beautiful, the effects are wonderful. But now comes the time that we are most waiting for and that gets us very anxious.
Will Ronaldo, a guy who saw a World Cup final, be impressed by this machine? It's a machine that looks beautiful to us, but does it look beautiful to Ronaldo? Will it impress him?
And Ronald too? I'm going there now, I'm going to take the computer, Ronald is waiting for me there, but I don't want him to see the machine, I want him to have the same reaction with his father. Ronaldo doesn't even know I'm going to deliver this computer.
I'm talking to Ronald's advisor so we can organize everything and now it's time to take this machine to them to see. I hope they like it. Man, I can't wait to see what he thinks.
How are you? Ronaldo, how are you? Nice to meet you, Gustavo.
What's up Ronald? Are you OK? Better now, right?
Does he know what's going on? Look, I was talking to him a little bit here and he said that he started to see something about it It started to show up on YouTube, so he has an idea but of course the surprise is right here. Nothing replaces the real thing.
Okay, let's go. Just to explain a little, Ronaldo, your son called me a couple of months ago, I have a tech YouTube channel he said he needs a gift for his father, for Father's Day and then he gave me this mission and then I and some childhood friends, we've made that happen. And here is a computer very different from the conventional ones.
We did it all by hand. - Damn. Everything is made from scratch.
There are two computers. What do you mean two computers? Here is the streaming PC, which you will stream from or be able to work, and here is the computer that you can game.
You put everything together. And here on the front we made a thing that, in fact, is a third tiny computer that controls it, which is called 'R9 Central'. I'm very proud of how Central R9 turned out, we managed to do everything we wanted to do from the beginning.
All the modes are working here, we can change the machine's LED colors, show the information of the next games. Here you have the Gaming Mode, which shows the machine's hardware information. What can I say?
Mission completed. The 'Phenomenon Mode', it will go through all the clubs you played for and some references from the clubs, you know? What you did for them.
So, it's quite interesting. The 'Brazil Mode' shows some of what you did for the Brazil's National Team. You can see the World Cup on that display, then there's a scene of you running, it should show up in a little bit, celebrating after scoring a goal.
And there are other modes here like 'Cruzeiro Mode', which will change the color of the machine and display the next Cruzeiro game. In real time. So, it'll pick up the next game here, when it will take place.
It will always show it, it automatically updates when it is on the internet, there is a mini controller that will pick up the network and do this. There's 'Valladolid Mode' over there that will change the LEDS to purple and it will have the same features And the 'Gaming Mode', which is where it will show the performance of the two machines, because here it will display the video card usage, processor usage, memory usage of each of the PCs and show it here. When it comes to performance, the 'Phenomenon' machine is truly a phenomenon.
The result is very good. We have here an average of 220 FPS. Graphical quality set to 'Extreme', the highest possible quality, with DLSS enabled.
Temperatures are also OK. Video card, 50ºC at this point, processor ranging from 65ºC to 70ºC. Of course, that can easily vary.
It's really, really good. We even hit 300 FPS at times. So, the results are great and, obviously, as we are playing, it cannot stay in the Brazil Mode.
We need to put it in Gaming Mode. So those are some of the features. This machine, as we wanted it to have elements of the 'phenomenon', you can see that there is a little spot here, because I ran my finger, and as it heats up, it changes color.
So, if you're playing, it will change color to gold, you know? And then later it starts to come back as it cools down. Is it a cool Father's Day gift?
Wow, thanks! Thank you! I just came up with the idea, Gustavo and his team did it.
Thank you. First of all, I would like to thank you for the opportunity because, bro, to be by your side, by your son's side, it's a very great opportunity, your son called me, in fact it was Vitor, DMed me on Instagram, he asked if it could be done I said I had to think about it, I talked to Gigabyte, which is the one who supplied the parts, I gathered a group of friends, that we worked together a long time ago, now each one has their own jobs, and then there's a guy who creates the design, he designed the computer, there's a guy who's a programmer, we got togheter to make it happen, we've been without sleep for two months it was an intense process, and I hope that you liked it. You said you saw something about it, right?
Did you get to watch the videos? No, I just saw the thumbnail When you have some time, watch it, you'll see all their hard work, Gustavo, wow, he really documented the whole process and it was really cool to watch from the beginning to end, from the moment we had the idea, our first meeting talking about it and him getting the Machine Makers team together, going to Gigabyte, picking up the parts, he had to travel to Chile to get the case. I went to get this PC case in Chile, I went there to bring the case in my luggage.
It wasn't easy, it was a lot of work, but hey, it was certainly worth it. And everything is high-end, the best performing, you know? Here is the PC gamer side, with the best hardware available, we got everything from Aorus, it's the best it could be, RTX 4090, the intel i9.
. . I hope you liked it.
Wow, amazing. I'm sure my friends will want one like this. Oh, for sure.
No, but it's truly yours, you really have a PC extremely customized, with the Modes for Cruzeiro, Valladolid, your numbers from the World Cup. . .
Click there, change the mode so you can see it. 'Phenomenon Mode'. It will show all the clubs there, all of them.
We got all the animations. Is the data accurate? Did we get it right?
Cruzeiro, PSV. . .
It's too cool! Usually the computer is hidden under the table, we have to display this one! When livestreaming, it looks way too good not to show it.
Thanks a lot Thank you so much. Thanks Ronald. You've outdone yourself.
Thank you, bro. We gave you an impossible task. And you did it!
And it turned out amazing! I hope you liked it! Everything is liquid cooled.
It turned out pretty cool. You can see in the details. And now I'd like a photo with you, can I?
Of course! I'll get on this camera and then on my phone. You know, the opportunity to be part of it, in some way, you know, to make a gift for someone so special, not only for those who like soccer, for those who are Brazilian, but actually for a whole generation, who watched him play, it's an honor.
There's no way to deliver a machine like that, to a person like Ronaldo and not remember several moments throughout our lives, you know? It reminded me a lot of the 2002 World Cup. It was a defining moment there.
And Ronaldo, like Ayrton Senna for instance, is an icon for Brazil. For many people, he has represented and represents a lot of things. We watched him playing soccer and I never imagined that I would somehow manage to get close to him, shake his hand or manage to make an item that Ronaldo would use.
When we made the custom computer for Jovem Nerd, 5 years ago, they were kids, they were 19, 20 year olds, you know, having fun at work and making PCs. We are personal life friends, so several times we get together to have ideas, hang out together and we always wanted to have the opportunity to be part of a Machine Makers again, build something cool for someone and have the opportunity to work together and remember the old times, the machines we had already made, the problems we went through, man, it was really incredible, that feeling was really cool. A feeling of pride, you know, of having been part of this project, but mainly a feeling of having won a championship.
I think the whole team is together there again, we celebrate this victory, having that feeling of that moment of scoring a goal in the last seconds of a match. I really think that was the feeling today. It's amazing, and Ronaldão is at home gaming, the guys are happy, the project was a success, another case for the channel, one more thing for us to put one our resumés, one more project for us to be able to say, "We managed to do this" and even though in the end it's "just a computer", it's a hell of a computer.
I was very happy to be able to feel that five years later. Man, one hell of a team. If we needed to make a rocket to go to the moon.
Maybe in a year we wouldn't finish it. But in two years we would arrive at least in the stratosphere. I'm Ronald, this is my dad and I just gave him a Machine Makers machine.
