so these are the brand new Power Beats Pro 2 and it's been a whopping 6 years since the original so we've been long overdue for refresh but the real question is are they any good now as a channel tradition I picked up every single color so in this case I have the sand color the jet black the electric orange and as well as the hyper purple just to help you guys decide which color you should go with [Music] [Music] for the sake of this video I'm primarily going to use use the sand color it's my
personal favorite but I love all of the colors right off the Gat as you guys saw in the unboxing experience I did switch out the air tips to the extra small tips you know silicone tips you either love them or you hate them in this case they're here to stay and putting them on for the very first time it could be a little finicky it's going to take some time to get used to because I'm so used to just having something that you just stick in your ear and that's it but since this features the
airwing I put it in my ear ear first and then I wrap it around my ear just that little wrap and now they're in and this is how they look like now at first it looks weird but coming from the Beats fit Pro which was my all-time favorite gym headphones I pra these I just like the fact how you can just put them on and that's it I would say both of these are going to stay in my ears with no problems although I feel a little I feel a little Wibble a little wobble on
the power beatss a little bit but for the most part it stays right in all right so I did my first set with the Power Beats Pro 2 these are not falling off I could do the shape test really good all right each airbud has a volume control so you can be able to increase or decrease the volume and another thing too with these airbuds for Extreme Conditioning I love the fact how these are buttons so every single thing is a button the volume control is a button no swipe gestures the B button for your
media controls it's a button if you press and hold it you activate your noise control so you have your transparency and you hold it again to get to your uh noise cancelling actually let me put on the other airbud so we can have this real setup okay so there we go so transparency is enabled and I got to say the transparency is excellent It's one to one but a noise cancelling on the other hand the airpods pro without a doubt is better and even with the Beats fit Pro it had better noise cancelling you know
wearing this to the gym with noise cancelling enabled I could still hear a little bit of chatter people talking in the gym I can still hear the weights going it disappointed me a little bit it pays me to say it and like I said for the gym in an extreme conditioning rock climbing whatever you do these are going to fit right on so no no problems at all um just as good as a Beats fit Pro now the case is a little bit on the bigger side if you compare that to airpods Pro yeah this
is massive now typically when I'm working out I leave the charging case in my car because I'm not going to need this and if you compare that to the Beats fit Pro side by side yeah the case is much bigger on the Power Beats Pro man but that noise cancelling really it was okay I mean I was so spoiled with the airpods pro and definitely spoiled with the Beats fit Pro that I was expecting these to be on the same level if not better but noise cancelling wasn't the best on these when it comes down
to the sound quality is what you expect from beats when it comes down to the bass bass is nice and Punchy I could hear the mids now at a higher volume it may start to distort depending on what song you listen to Distortion in the sense of maybe it might sound a little high on the treble I am listening to Apple music so I want the best sound quality I think hurry up tomorrow is a fantastic album to really do some sort of sound test especially with those Transitions and just hearing the vocals and um
if you're into hip-hop Ray music R&B soul music I think you're going to love this and even pop music all genres of music is pretty good the only thing maybe if you listen to Beethoven's hits maybe you might want to get something else yeah sound quality if I have to put it on a scale rating sound quality I'm going to give it a solad B I think it's a b and in terms of the fit too I forgot to mention I'm giving this a a you know it fits like a glove now one of the
highlights of these it has a built-in heart sensor so it could check your pulse it it may sound like it's a gimmick and you know why would you need that and I'm with you guys if you have an Apple Watch like me I'm always wearing my Apple watch when I'm working out and I wear it every day I mean I if without an Apple Watch going to the gym I feel naked I love my Apple watch it tracks the calories track the steps it just gives you a HUD when you at the gym it show
you how long you've been working out too as well so having this constantly checking my heart rate adding in with the Beats also checking my heart rate may may be a bit redundant now of course Apple takes your privacy and data very serious everything is on device so you go into the health app and you can be able to see your heart monitoring so and best believe you will see this on the Next Generation airpods Pro so far I got to say the heart sensor is a gimmick but I only had this for 24 hours
maybe more and more times I use it it might be functional but as it stands I don't think I'm going to need it now as I was working out I did receive a phone call and it was a perfect time to test out the microphone on these and right away my friend noticed it sounds like typical beats once you use airpods it's kind of hard to go and use something else when it comes down to the microphone this is a microphone test of the Power Beats Pro 2 tell me who can catch a two can

life this is something that I'm going to need more testing on it's only been 24 hours I watched a couple of YouTubers who had these buds for 2 weeks so I haven't really test out the battery life myself I believe that these have Stellar battery life and yeah my Beats fit Pro barely dies too but the only Annoying Thing about the Beats fit Pro is no Wireless charge so I just can't put it on my charging mat I have to physically plug it in Via type-c and that's fine but the Power Beats now I just
drop it on the wireless charging pad and keep it moving all right so I did my first set with the power beads Pro to these are not falling off I could do the shape test really good but I do feel the little extra support around my ear but for the most part I kind of do miss the beastfit pro just that minimalistic look but other than that these are just as good sound quality is good noise cancelling it's a bit on the weaker side transparency is excellent but noise cancelling was a bit disappointed so far
but for the most part who is this for exactly I think if you do a lot of hiking bike running going to the gym but you want something to support your air you might want to consider these $250 isn't cheap I think they should have priced this maybe at $19 200 bucks or maybe even 150 but you got to pay to play and if you want something that will fit you nice and you want something that would be easy to connect thanks to that H2 chip you you know this is your choice this is your
choice for now but I do believe that this is going to go on sale so make sure you guys check the pric and and availability periodically um oh and I forgot to mention this is also supported on Android all you have to do is open up the Case press and hold the pair button and you could be able to pair it up to your Android just fine of course on iOS all you got to do is just open the case and it comes right up easily if you guys want to see more videos on the
