I set out to do that, and a number of people asked for it to be done. I decided to do this little chat. Just to encourage you also to look from this window that is in front of you, which is your life, and locate these seven laws.
This idea was born, you may remember, when several people started asking why I believed in something that did not cite the sources clearly. And there are many documents throughout history that do not cite sources clearly. The only way for you to confirm them, would be to look through the window of your life and see if life supports that.
In other words, a spirit of experimentation, of experiencing that is very healthy within Philosophy. Incidentally, it is an important tip for you, before anything, when you suspect that something has depth, that it has some value, something read in a book, some classic preferably, it’s interesting that you walk with this through life. The moment you see a fact that really corroborates, that confirms this, only then does knowledge become yours.
And from the moment the knowledge is yours, it is a solid base for you to build things on top of it. Your things, your own ideas. So it is very important, from time to time, to open this window to your life, and start looking around for what that knowledge is based on or if it has no basis at all, what can also happen.
And you start to realize that that teaching has flaws, it is not very well balanced. However, a look clean of dogmatism or previous beliefs. Because otherwise you will induce the experience so that it does not confirm, or confirm.
Because you have previously believed or denied. This is not philosophical. That's why I always reiterate: the philosopher does not own the truth, he does not have the truth.
He's in search. Any previous little truth that you include, will already induce your vision. That is, I am testing this knowledge in life.

The principle of mentalism, for example . . .
Mentalism, what is interesting for you to observe is: it does not mean that the power of the mind changes everything. It's not that. But you can see, in a very concrete way, that your mind creates an environment that influences you tremendously.
In the same way that Feng Shui says that the color of the bedroom wall where you sleep can influence you to sleep well, to wake up well . . .
also the mental environment you create will have a big influence on your day. So try, for example, when you wake up, have a positive morning predisposition. Whether through a beautiful melody that you put playing on your bedtable, either through a little reading.
It creates a mental environment. The environment is not only physical, the environment is also mental. And the way we are dispersed, sometimes the environment is more mental than physical.
In general, I think we are more in the environment created by our mind than in the external environment. So it's interesting . .
. create a condition, a pleasant (mental) landscape. It is what our elders called getting up with the right foot.
That means entering into life with a positive predisposition, in the sense of: today I will do noble things, I will do higher things, I will fulfill my purposes, I will tell the world what I am here for. I'll give my message. It is not just saying: "Everything will be alright" It is not so.
What "will be alright"? "Right" against what criteria? "Today I will be able to impose my will on the world, whatever the circumstances!
" It is not a windfall. It is a bid for fidelity to principles and will. Sometimes we do the opposite: we format ourselves to fail.
It's the pessimist. "It won't work! It won't work!
" And he goes there just to confirm that it didn't work. And, in general, it really doesn't work. Sometimes the opposite also happens: that person who has a predisposition .

" And everyone says, "there's no way . . .
" "It will do! " And he make t happen. And it's not even a windfall, nor that his mind has shaped the circumstances.
The circumstances that were formatted, were his own tools to fight adversity as long as necessary, until the door opens. So every morning when you think about your day . .
. - this also has to do with the principle of vibration, we'll talk about this in a while - . .
. when you set your mind vibrating for higher things, of a greater way of life, of what you want to say to the world today, this tends to be a start, a very good initial boost! And everyone knows that the beginnings have a certain power!
For those who study public speach, for example: you start speaking badly, this tends to generate a negative predisposition for the whole speech. Because your mind says to you, "You are doing something wrong. " It creates a very unpleasant environment.
You can recover, but it is much more difficult. So, learn from what traditionally was called "the magic of the beginnings". That is, a good practical application of mentalism.
I will think about my day. I will remember who I am. I will tune my mind to something noble, elevated.
This is a very practical application of the principle of mentalism. In relation to correspondence, it is also very easy for us to understand this. There are countless circumstances .

From the mental point of view, from the point of view of the meaning of life, there is a center: that that you want to become. I'm not talking about patterns of success, neither of success nor anything like that. But the human being you want to become at the end of everything.
But what you want to see when you face the conclusion of your work in the world. That is, the construction of yourself. If you have been very firm, with firm principles, and you know the message you want to send to the world, how much you want to benefit life, how much you want to be a sum factor for human life .
. . This is a center.
And you feel that all your actions are coordinated. Everything revolves around that. You don't lose yourself.
It is what we call bewildered. Bewildered is the citizen who no longer knows where the north is. Or he doesn't even believe in the existence a north.
So his movement becomes chaotic which, in the end, doesn't add up in any direction. It does not move him in any direction. And what’s more curious is that those who don’t have a center, don't have a sense of self-construction, lacks the ideal, lacks a clear sense of life .
. . they live in chaos and place chaos as a law.
And they tend to be somewhat critical of those who have a valid sense of life. Once again I reiterate: be aware! I'm talking from the philosophical point of view of the meaning of life relative to the human being you want to be.
Not what you're going to have. The success or fame you will achieve. This, from the point of view of philosophy, is a secondary element.
It may be nice, but you can live very well without it. But without leaving . .
. some defects behind, as Seneca said: "Make sure you see some defects die before you do. " At least one or two we bury before this journey is over .
. . This is a valid meaning of life, it is the construction of oneself.
If you don't have this focus, if you don't have this center . . .
Everything starts to move in a chaotic way. And those who have no center, they celebrate chaos as a law. And they doubt those who have.
This from the mental point of view, and spiritual, too. From an emotional point of view, there is something else that I would like to draw your attention to. I'm already a mature person, I'm 55 years old .
. . and more and more I realize something: the emotional center, in the sense of home, the place around which our psyche revolves, the place around which our affective life revolves.
That balances us, that seats us is: Those or what I love. You will realize that, at a certain age, there is no longer much curiosity. The question of age is very variable.
It depends on the maturity that has been acquired throughout life. A certain moment arrives when you realize that the best place in the world it is the place where the people you love are. It is the place where you do the work you love.
It is the place where you make your contribution to the world. That crazy curiosity: "Well, I'm going over there and over there, I know something, and such . .
. " But everything starts to look very similar at a certain moment. Several things with different clothes, but, basically, the same tonic.
And only different place, the center around which we revolve is: those or what I love. This is home! The best place in the world!
So, that person who once had a fantasy, wanted to live in such a city . . .
He went and got there. She couldn't stand the loneliness of being away from all those she loves. And as much as the location was wonderful, it is never as wonderful as our fantasy builds.
And it does not make up for the fact that we are far from what we have built emotionally. Deep down, the center of our emotional life . .
. it is the amount of deep, true love that we can build. In other words, everything in us also has a center.
If I went down to the physical plane, I would also see a vehicle balance center. A health center . .
. Our physical, psychic and spiritual life it also revolves around a center. This is a good application of the correspondence principle.
Take a look, see if it is not like that in your life. The third, which is the vibration . .
. this is more than what is characteristic! Several times I have had the opportunity to be with people .
. . who are good people.
They have a common life, but have a vulgar habit. An habit. "Oh no, this is bullshit, this is a hobby, it's nothing .
. . " However, in situations of pressure, that vulgarity that she cultivated comes to the fore.
That little dot that she left there without working, it's a possibility that her psyche will visit when she needs an answer and thinks she doesn't. The vibration cannot be very divided and distributed at very different levels. Vibration, which is what you identify with, it has to be all on the same level.

You may not have stopped to see an interesting element in that film. From all that complex plot, with all those disasters that happened, who is the big culprit? Everyone will say, "It's Scar!

Of things that make me reflect, things that encourage me to be a better human being, things that show me the need to dedicate myself more to the cause of my life, things that bring me a state of harmony, of relaxation. I like things that elevate me. "No, but there is this little exception.
" Well, this little exception will generate facts in your life. Notice, observe, this is quite easy. Take a look at the people around you a little, but not critically.

Because it is easier, at times, to see projected than in ourselves. And then look for yourself. Tuning: everyone there, more or less together in a vibrating point.
The conscience and refuses to go down, once she got a certain address. Don't force it. Let your conscience stay in your seat, which she has earned on merit.
Another interesting element is the polarity. This is even more observable. You realize that everything that starts too intense, will go to the other side in a little while.

friendships, loves activities fulfill this. In my practice as a teacher this has become more or less habitual. Of course, there are always exceptions.
But you see, sometimes, in the first class of the philosophy course, that person who is vibrating, is too excited, "I'm going to spend my life here, I found my place . . .
" The next day she comes bringing all the objects from her house, wanting to put them inside . . .
That is, calm takes your things . . .
Everything thoughtfully, we don't need things, we just need you to grow. Be careful with that, because in a week it is likely to cool down and go the other way. That person who rises more calmly, who sometimes gets this enthusiasm in the 20th class, when the course is ending, this is the possibility of sedimenting a more rectilinear behavior.
I know that these sudden passions are a source of pleasure, but they are not good support for something you intend to compromise your life with. So it is neither prudent nor sustainable. Doing things .
. . holding the passion a little and building a whole base for it.
Realize that it is our psyche that has this tendency: it goes this way it goes the other way. Try to find the right way. This is nothing more than the principle of polarity.
Rhythm principle . . .
Often, when they try to hit us, they don't catch us because we're not on the same level . . .
It is the question of neutralization. Remember? The world is a polarity, it is the fight for the children's teddy.
If you don't want the teddy, you are on the other level and can reconcile that level. It is very common, for example, that . .
. when a person sometimes arrives at a conference, in a class . .
. it arrives with a certain prejudice with philosophy, it arrives wanting to attack something. Just a way for a teacher not to feel attacked: it is when he is not identified with his personality.
He's speaking for something bigger! They attack his personality, he is on top, looks and has no interest . .
. Do you know why? Because he is not doing that to project his personality.
So this sense of generosity, of giving, takes him off the landing where he can be reached. So it is: "you are this, you are that! " I probably am, but I still have something to give you.
Do you want to receive? That is, a depolarization of that plane where the polarities are happening. And they no longer reach.

- I've already noticed that - in sports championships . . When everyone who is playing is not your team, it is not your country, you no longer feel any passionate involvement, you better evaluate the technique of the game.
You better see the beauty of the players' technique, you have a cooler head to see the skill, to see art - through football, or any sport. Because passion is not present. When you have passion you identify with a point and you no longer see quality, you don't see talent .
. . Yours is better and the others have to be defeated.
This is a curious element! A judge, for example, would necessarily have to have this neutralization . .
. no emotional involvement with either side. No predisposition to think that one side is always right and the other side is always wrong.
Which is a complex thing in the human psyche. No prejudice, no predisposition. This is it, and that category is always right.
This is it and this sex is always right. Whatever it is. Any predisposition will twist the scale a little.
In other words, it has to neutralize and place itself on another level of consciousness. You constantly see this need within social life. He sees this need in you.
When, for example, you judge your son's fight with a strange little boy at school. Don't think that the best thing you can do for a child to be on his side. The best thing you can do for a child is on the side of justice.
This requires neutralization. This is the example he needs. Cause and effect: it is also very easy to see.
In the middle of a harsh circumstance that you are living in, try to locate, in the past, where the driver of those consequences was. What was the attitude towards life, what was the temperament trait that I had to correct . .
. and that element of hitting exactly that edge so that I can polish it. Sometimes a difficult relationship, I don't know .

. . And you realize that the fact of having lived with this difficult person prevented you from being like her now.
To have an inadequate response to life. If that hadn't happened, maybe today you would be even worse. So, relate, find the causative factor in our past.
There is another daring experience that I propose to you. I always say that it is interesting to have a diary, it is very worthwhile. Not to say what you did during the day, but putting yourself in relation to your human ideal and see how you are moving about it.
Try to write what your day was in your diary at night: Try thinking: what will be the future of a person who had a day like this? That had this kind of attitudes, that kind of thinking, that made that kind of choices. You realize that it is predictable.
You can see, you can know. An interesting thing: sometimes, a mother is mature enough for that . .
. - today you can't even talk about it because there is a lot of prejudice - But sometimes, the son or daughter comes with a little boyfriend, she lives there a little, and she clearly sees. "Look, there will come such and such and such a problem in the future.
" For the couple, for living together . . .
Why? She knows that nature does not jump. She knows that for there to be something exceptional in the future there must be seeds of the exceptional in the present.
If not, they will have to be built, it will have to be planted. And if there is no maturity for both to plant it will give a direction that she already clearly predicts. In general, a mature mother has no surprises with the outcome of a relationship that did not come out as good as I would expect.
Because you already know a little about the mechanics of cause and effect. So she already sees in the present the seeds of what will bear fruit in the future. This is a matter of reflection!

With a little thought and you can do that, there is no paranormal power. Finally, the issue of mental gender. From time to time, in that same diary, do an experiment to look inside you for ideas, what are the emotions, what are the feelings that are really yours.

Thoughts and feelings that are really yours. Cultivate them with great care. "In that I believe because I had such an experience, reflected and came to that conclusion and that is my idea.
" This feeling is really mine, you know why? Because I looked at this person without any prejudice, without any mass trend, without any fads. I watched her reactions a little bit - I had the courage and the exemption to do that - and I deduced that this person may not be worthy of hatred, but of compassion.
Perhaps she is not worthy of passion or idolatry, but just a little admiration or a great understanding. That is, the feelings that are your thoughts that are yours . .
. Put it in a jewelry box. You value it, because it will allow more and more practice to look for the root of your thoughts and feelings.
And start to have the practice of fertilizing your own mind, with your own ideas. Anyway, this is a little game. As I said, this is just the start.
You can search your life, your window, everything you can. It is very difficult for someone to say to me: "those things you saw, you did not see. " I saw, I lived.
So this is justification? It is justification. It is a solid foundation that .
. . it is experimentation with everything I read.
I take something seriously when I try it and see that it’s justified. Before, it's just a possibility. It seems to me considerable, I don't go out trying everything, either .
. . What I think is sensible and considerable.
It is a possibility and now it is a confirmation. And so it is reflected, so it is learned, this is how to build your own identity. It is.
