what if East Germany still existed in 2025 so firstly if it wasn't communist then probably not much would change it would be just like any other Rich Western European country and since the two germanies would cooperate the West might also change its capital to another large city like Hamburg or cologne however if the East were still communist a lot would change firstly East Germans would be very poor and have more militaristic ideologies and since it would hate the capitalist West it could also try to become an ally of Russia
