(clock ticking) All right. So today we're talking about the five, five, five, five, five, best is to advertise for your business. Advertising isn't just ads.
There's a whole wide world of possibilities to let people know what you have to offer and to convince them to listen to what you have to say. With a person on average scene between six and 10,000 ads a day, that's right, 1,000. And companies spending an average of $240 billion getting your ads out there and making them stand out within this crazy see, is more important now than ever.
Enough background. Let's get into these tips on how to advertise. Number one is clearly identifying your product.
What are you trying to sell? Whether it's a cookie, an online class or even a series of handmade minister versions of yourself you have to be very clear about what you're selling. There are a lot of ways to be clear in showing your product.
Photos are a clear way for people to see what you have to offer. And short videos can also do a really good job of bringing people in. If any of this sounds intimidating, don't worry we got your back.

Moving on to number two having paid ads can go a long way in increasing your reach. Paying for ad space might sound a little intimidating but there are lots of ways that you can get your business in front of a wide variety of people for not very much money. Pay per click advertising AKA PPC is a great way to get started.
With PPC, you pay for your website to go right to top when people use search bars and type in specific keywords. What's great about PPC is that often people use search bars when looking for products and services and you only pay when people actually click on your ad. How much does PPC cost?
Well, that all kind of depends on how often you and your ad seen and how high they show up on a list. The more you pay, the more frequently people will see them. Even in with that, a little bit of money can go a long way depending on how you use it.
Google ads, Bing ads and Facebook ads are all great places to start your campaign and depending on your business choosing where you start can be very helpful. You can also use PPC for social media. On social media your ads can show up in people's feeds directly and are harder to avoid with ad blockers.
Once you have your medium, creating ad copy that is informative and uses keywords that people search for when looking up your business, will help get more eyes on you and your business. Start a paid ad campaign, setting a budget, creating goals choosing a specific campaign type and performing keyword research are all steps you should definitely be looking into. You can find an in-depth free PPC kit here whether it's your first time or hundredth you'll learn the ins and outs of using PPC ads.
(lively music) - I can find this client info. - Have you heard of HubSpot? HubSpot is a CRM platform.
So it shares its data across every application. Every team can stay aligned. No auto sync spreadsheets or doing databases HubSpot grow better.
(lively music) - This brings us to number three and it is social media. Love it or I hate it. Social media is a huge part of any marketing strategy and should be a big focus for your company.
Think about the last couple of brands that you discovered. Got them? Okay.
How did you find out about them? Most likely it was through social media. Knowing which platform to focus on can be tricky and the best thing that you can do is to promote across different platforms.
If you're selling food and Instagram account with pictures of the food and some behind the scenes on how it's made might be best. If you do trainings, a TikTok account of short clips of you leading these trainings might be best. You can also repurpose those TikToks into IG reels to really maximize on your content.
Experiment with a couple different versions and see which one gets the most engagement. One of the most important tactics with social media once you've found your platform, is to be consistent. Building a voice and brand takes time and scheduled posts help you build your business up.
If you're looking for more strategies around using social media here's a great video going into great detail about the best ways to market on social media. The host here's a great guy trust me. Coming up next is number four.
Have an email marketing strategy. Email is a great way to communicate with a large number of people at once. Whether you're talking about a deal, a loyalty program, or a new offer all of these are great reasons to reach out to people.
Having an email list can help you with your engagement. Having a scheduled email that allows people to engage with your content and product and building a list of leads, are very, very great first steps. The best way to get started is to get your hands on a content management system to build and monitor your list of contacts.
Check out our free CM here to help you get started. And finally, number five, my personal favorite, engage with your audience and build a community. People are bombarded with advertisements all day and they don't really have a chance to process or talk to a person about what they're seeing.
If you're able to provide people a space to talk about your product, you're creating not just an advertisement but a place for people to grow and learn. This can be a very easy setup. And once you have a community it can run itself in a lot of different ways.
The first step is to engage with your audience. Writing back to questions and comments on your social media email, and videos makes people feel engaged. Creating a blog where people can leave comments and even post their own thoughts is another great way to continue the conversation and allows for people to explore their thoughts around your product.
At the same time, going live on social media and hosting a live Q&A can really engage your audience as well. When thinking about engagement and community building remember to make people feel listened to and that they are an equal part of the conversation when discussing your business. Hey, we did a great job everybody.
Those are the five tips and tricks for advertising your business. If you try any of the ideas mentioned in this video, I wanna know about it. Or, if you have better tips and tricks definitely leave them down in the comment section by commenting below.
Until next time, adios.
