have you ever dreamed of becoming a K-pop Idol but felt like nobody supported you not even your own parents watch this video till the end and I will give you some advice on how to deal with this situation there are many types of parents in this world it's normal that people who live a normal life work a normal job never travel outside their own country and don't do anything big in their lives will not support you with anything that challenges their belief system according to psychology 90% of the people around you automatically think you will
never achieve anything great in your life because it makes makes them feel better if you achieve something better than them people start to talk negatively about you because it makes them feel that they are better than you their brain refuses to accept that you are better than them for example if you are one of the students who rank number one in your class you are most likely the most disliked person in your class they don't dislike you on purpose but that's how human feelings usually work so besides your own parents stop caring about what other
people say about you they will always say you cannot do it even if you have talent and the right Beauty standard to be an idol it's rare that people will support your dream and if you meet someone who admires you and supports everything you do they could be a fake friend sometimes people who talk trash to you and always tell the truth whenever you are fat or skinny that person might be your true best friend so if someone tells you that you are not good at singing don't get mad at them but take that as
criticism and improve yourself and improve your singing skill that's how you deal with people don't be friends with people who always say you are good at everything because nobody is perfect in this world be friends with people who are willing to tell you the truth about what's wrong with with you so you can improve the things that you are not good at if you post a picture and your friend always says you are a queen or you are 10 out of 10 period that's just a fake friend it doesn't mean that they are a bad
person but it means they are not your true best friend who is willing to correct you if you are wrong your best friend doesn't care about if you are angry at them or not they don't want you to be delusional and Chase your dream to be an idol blindly without preparing first so let's talk about the parent issue your parents are different from other people around you they are not killing your dream because they are jealous but because they care about you if your parents have a normal job that has no risk or chance of
losing it being a K-pop Idol is far from their belief system they have lived like this for their whole lives and it's hard to change their mindset by just talking you have to show them what you are capable of but before we go into more detail about how to convince your parents there is one more person that you have to convince and be honest with them for once in your life and that person is yourself you have to look in the mirror and ask yourself if you really want to do this or not no matter
what consequences will come later in your life life you have to tell yourself that you will never regret it later in your life no matter what happens because the road to be a K-pop Idol is like a 50/50 game if you win you are rich and successful but if you lose you may not even have a normal job before you tell someone else that you want to become an idol you have to ask yourself these two questions first number one do you have the right Beauty standard that means do you have a slim body and
an acceptable look looks are everything in this industry they are even more important than your voice you don't have to be beautiful like an angel but at least an acceptable look because if the company really sees your talent and want you to join their agency they will give you surgery later but at least you have to has an acceptable look and beautiful form of face because surgery can only help on your nose your eye and mouth number two are you okay with dropping out of high school because if you're a non- Korean K-pop traine there
is a high chance that you will drop out of high school because of language issues unless you are really good at Korean language from a young age you may not be able to finish your education and if you don't finish High School SCH you will never be accepted in college so that means if you fail and never get chosen to debut as an idol you may not be able to get a normal office job like everybody else your job options will only revolve around the entertainment industry for the rest of your life like acting modeling
or influencing and those jobs are also hard to get because there are a lot of competition if you come from a rich family and you can afford to be jobless for a few years before you build up your name that's okay but if your whole family depends on you I'm afraid that you have to go back to your hometown and look for another career that's why it's risky to become a K-pop Idol but if you say you are okay with these two factors let's move on to how to convince your parents to let you chase
your dream there are four steps that you should try step number one work in silence stop running around and telling other people what your dream is before you are good at it some of you have never even learned how to dance or sing properly yet but you already go around and tell everyone that you will become a K-pop Idol in the future that's why no one supports you because you have nothing to prove it every time it's just you talking there are there are no proof that you are a superstar in the making stop saying
one day you will do it but start with day one listening to my video is not going to help if you don't start doing it before you ask your parents to pay for your dancing and singing classes you have to learn by yourself first start working in Silence by yourself or learn from YouTube and your favorite Idols watch them how they sing and dance and one day surprise your parents with how good you are at singing and dancing or playing any music instrument they will be happy to send you to a singing school here an
example the best K-pop Idols like Ros have open-minded parents and beside that Ros didn't even want to be a K-pop Idol at all at first but her father saw that she was really good at playing guitar and she was also good at singing every day he saw her in love with music and getting good at it time after time that's why Rosé parents convinced her to join a K-pop audition you see you have to show them that you good at it first before you even think to talk about it another example is Lisa Lisa was
already good at dancing and she even did traditional tie dancing when she was young that's why her parents allowed her to join a K-pop audition because she already showed them that she could dance not just talk that's why you have to work smarter than that maybe save money and take dancing or singing classes for yourself without your parents knowing learn how to play an instrument because that's the best way to convince other people that you have talent now if you have already achieved that step number two learn to convince your parents in the right way
so after you become good at playing guitar singing or dancing now it's time to show them but don't show them at a random time wait until a special moment when they they have a soft spot for you like Father's Day Mother's Day or your own birthday and start singing a very beautiful song for them thanking them for raising you and taking care of you and give them a hint that you really love singing and want to become a superstar but don't ask them yet just let them know that you are good at it the right
moment to ask them is when a K-pop company comes to open an audition in your country or you can do better than this join an online audition without letting them know and then after you pass surprise them with the news that you have achieved something big in your life that you never did before at that moment there is a higher chance that they will believe in you and let you chase your dream I already made a video about how to join a K-pop online audition it will pop up at the end of this video so
you don't have to look for it and if your parents still don't accept your wish to become a K-pop Idol yet maybe there is something wrong with the way you are asking them sometime the way you explain to them shows that you are still childish and selfish they may think you don't see the dangers of becoming a superstar you just want to do what you want at the time and don't care about their feeling step number three always put your family need before yourself when you talk about chasing your dream you have to convince them
that you are not doing this for yourself or your own selfish reason but because you want to help your family you want to be successful and give your parents a good life tell them that you know how hard they work and you just want to help if you tell your parents that you want to be an idol because you love K-pop that means you are selfish you only think about your own needs and don't appreciate the path that your parent works so hard to get you to study at College make sure you tell them that
you have a plan B for them and yourself if things don't work out in the K-pop pop industry tell them that you already know the hardest part and the dangers of being an idol but you have talent and a big dream convince them to believe that it's such a waste of talent if you don't try tell them that you will regret it later when you become an adult because you never even get a chance to try to chase your dream show them some of the results of successful any non- Korean K-pop Idols who never gave
