God is good no matter what we are going through never forget Jeremiah 29:11 which says for I know the thoughts that I think toward you says the Lord thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you a future and a hope the problem you are experiencing right now may prompt you to think otherwise but you need to remember that God's word stands true and what happens at times is because we as humans tend to use our human reasoning to analyze why we Face some challenges and how to overcome them we tend to forget that
God's ways are not like our ways the bad you are going through right now you may be concerned and preup occupied with finding a solution when God on the other hand is using that setback as setup for bigger and better things his ways are not our ways so it's normal to express how you feel there's nothing wrong with that but do remember that in all things God works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to his purpose there is always a reason for every occurrence in life and faith in
God means I believe that whatever the Lord's intentions are whatever his reasons are if he brought me to it he will bring me through it every occurrence in my life God orchestrates he coordinates and plans the part that me and you have to play is to trust and believe that the outcome his plans will in the end work out for our good now for the next few moments I want to read Psalm 118 to you and I want you to pay attention to how the psalmist is so completely fixated on God he's focused on God's
goodness on God's protection on God's love and Direction I mean it's all about the Lord in this Psalm the Bible reads give thanks to the Lord for he is good his love endures forever let Israel say his love endures forever let the house of Aaron say his house endures forever let those who fear the lord say his love endures forever when hard pressed I cried to the Lord he brought me into a spacious place the Lord is with me I will not be afraid what can mere mortals do to me the Lord is with me
he is my helper I look in Triumph on my enemies it is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans it is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes all the nations surrounded me but in the name of the Lord I cut them down they surrounded me on every side but in the name of the Lord I cut them down they swarmed around around me like bees but they were consumed as quickly as burning thorns in the name of the Lord I cut them down I was
pushed back and about to fall but the Lord helped me the Lord is my strength and my defense he has become my salvation shouts of joy and victory ReSound in the tents of the righteous the Lord's right hand has done Mighty things the Lord's right hand is lifted High the Lord's right hand has done Mighty things I will not die but live and will Proclaim What the Lord Has Done the Lord has chastened me severely but he has not given me over to death open for me the gates of the righteous I will enter and
give thanks to the Lord this is the Gate of the Lord through which the righteous may enter I will give you thanks for you answered me you have become my salvation the stone the builders rejected has become the Cornerstone the Lord has done this and it is marvelous in our eyes the Lord has done it this very day let us rejoice today and be glad Lord save us Lord grant us success blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord from the house of the Lord we bless you the Lord is God and
he has made his light shine on us with bows and hand join in the festal procession up to the horns of the altar you are my God and I will praise you you are my God and I will exalt you give thanks to the Lord for he is good his love endures forever our natural tenden as humans is to think that if something seems unpleasant then it must not be from God but we must realize that God sees things quite differently than we do the trials that God allows in our lives are meant to make
us complete so that we lack nothing as Believers Trials come for our development as Christians Trials come so that we can build on the current level of faith we have and reach Greater Heights that's why the Bible says the testing of your faith produces perseverance the testing of our faith leads to spiritual maturity this should change the way we view hardships and how we should respond to those difficult times in our lives the reality is that God is always at work in his children and the ultimate goal is that we become a reflection of Christ
we are to be conformed into the image of Christ having our minds renewed and our hearts refined not only are we to Rejoice knowing that God is testing us as a good work in our lives but the Bible goes on to tell us in James 1:12 blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because having stood the test that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him now let us pray dear Lord we are holding on to you we are holding on to your strength and power
and might we trust in you because your love and mercy endure forever Lord we thank you for your protection we don't know what each day holds but what we do know is that the protection you offer is divine we have little to no power to protect myself each and every day it is by your grace and by your mercy that we are safely kept each day you have protected us consistently you Lord Jesus have ensured that no harm or danger will come to us and that's something we are thankful for I pray that you would
give me the strength to stand when my faith is being tested I pray that you would give me a heart filled with joy even when I am being tested First Corinth Ians 15:58 therefore my beloved brothers be steadfast immovable always abounding in the work of the Lord knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain father I pray that I would be steadfast and immovable in my faith whatever happens in this life may it not sway me from my faith in Jesus Christ should the miracle I pray for come to pass or not
my faith Still Remains in Jesus Christ should I be perplexed by any situation I encounter you are my rock and my faith will remain in you father when life appears to be falling apart when it is my season to be tested I pray that the Holy Spirit would help me to keep my eyes on Jesus Christ help me Holy Ghost so that I can realize that the Troubles of this life are only temporary they are only momentary in comparison to the joy that awaits me in eternity and so Lord I pray that you would help
me and strengthen my character help me not to be so someone who is only strong in faith when all is well with me but may I be strong in faith always regardless of the difficulties I'm facing your word in 2 Corinthians 13: 5 says examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith test yourselves or do you not realize this about yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you unless indeed you fail to meet the test I thank you for hearing my prayer I bless your Holy Name King Jesus amen give thanks to the Lord
