guys five chokes front side control okay so i'm gonna focus again on the beginners which the the white belt where they are start figuring it out how to keep the side control keep the the position in uh uh in a control right so side controls might be like easy to get but it's very quick to lose it okay especially when you uh open up to attack okay i'm gonna show you guys five jokes from side control and one of my favorite one i teach the students and they love and i believe you guys as a
beginner will like you and help you uh continue that the attack from top cycle through without losing anything okay so we're gonna go here the first one that laid out here i'm gonna i'm here with matt on the side control okay so number one thing right here i wanted to get depending what kind of choke that i'm gonna do it the knee arm is the one that's gonna give you the most hard time okay so i need to insulate this on first okay so what i'm gonna do here i wanna get here side control okay
i could stay here inside control all day long if i want to right but the question is if i just hold it i'm not going to get much far so i need to open up okay so my knee under go under this arm right here okay just gonna go right there and start using to insulate this arm okay so look what i'm gonna do now now i need to use first one i'm gonna go for the paper cut which is a very traditional one very classic one there's main ways that you can do it but
i'm going to show you a way that i like to set up so from here i'm there i insulate the knee arm okay so look i'm going to do here i want to move my arm just here okay so i need to get under this arm okay so from here i want to go transition i want to start getting like my arm on this side and hold matte color just with four fingers on the under his neck so from here right i want to go there and i want to move myself right there so where

i want to hug now my forehead goes in the mat now bring myself here so now just stay right there lock it in okay so i'm not gonna try to bring this elb down like this what i have to do here bring our back i want to move my forehead on the mat now bring your arm up he can't that's what the beginning should be doing position yourself first before the choke now the final touch from here i want to just move myself in so i'm going to bring my head to matthew's head connect my

a brown belt imagine he was teaching a class and then i i was on the side watching uh marcellus and then brown said imagine hold someone's head and put it under water and just hold it under the water and that stayed with me for the whole like this whole time and and it's true because the choke's not that cranky the joke is like lock the circulation right so that's what i'm looking for so from here we're gonna go for the kataka tummy i want to move myself out of the way right i can even use
my neon belly walk matt is on the way now from here if his arm look how i'm gonna move not that way i'll move up and now force my shoulder to bring his arm that way but i cannot go inside so when i go here i can use my hands to wipe and bring my head arm down but my forehead goes on the mat my hand goes in the mouth and wider base insulate this arm in place head to head now connect your hands and slide a knee to mouth and slide and sprawl right here
