Yuji's domain expansion finally kills Sukuna and wins. In chapter 266, Yugji opens his domain. At first, it just looks like a bunch of places from his memories.
But when Yuji tells Sukuna that he could end him at any moment, he became angry and protected himself from domain's effect by using hollow wicker basket. Also within the domain, Yugji runs into a younger version of Magumi. Yugji tells him that he'd be sad if Magumi doesn't come back.
Sukuna tries to activate his domain. And in the next panel, we see a staircase which has Sukuna's last finger tied with Gakuganji and Utiime ready for execution. and the executioner is none other than Nobara.
She uses her resonance to destroy the finger and in process bypass the technique since Sukuna's finger is a special grade curse object and cannot be destroyed. After that, Yugji uses a soul dismantle which makes Sukuna vomit, but he still wasn't able to rip Magumi's soul apart from Sukuna's. Yuji declares that he'll put end to the cycle of curses.
