Educate yourself daily. Well, this guy, he's really successful. [music] Not So, let's say I'm working at a company and I'm the big boss. Let's say I'm a guy, I go college, I go university, I go to this company, I work, I work, I work, I become a manager. I'm on a 150,000 a year. I got a company BMW. And I wear a suit. And everyone at my job does as I say. By all measures, I'm successful. But here's the truth. When I leave that company, no one gives a damn about me. I'm a nobody outside
of that one building where I'm a little bit important. My wife doesn't want to suck my dick cuz I'm fat, cuz I didn't have time to train, so all I did was work. I got a BMW. BMW, I know hoes with BMWs. BMW, I don't even consider that car. BMW, that's not a luxury car, that's basic. I'm pushing supercars. You're a nobody. You're not successful for [ __ ] Success for a man actually comes in many realms. It has nothing to actually nothing to do with being good at your job. Having money, yeah. You don't
have to be good at your job to have money. So, how do you be successful as a man? We'll talk about it. First thing, you need freedom, cuz you ain't a man if you're not free. If you're working your ass off, you're a slave. And you may say to me, "Well, I'm not a slave, I get paid really well." Listen, the slaves Got free food and free shelter in exchange for work. Now, all they've done is got rid of the food and shelter deal, give you dollars, which you spend on food and shelter. >> [music]
>> And you basically have nothing left. So, you're still a slave. So, first thing you need is freedom. If you're not free, you're not a man. First thing, you're not a successful man. So, you should always be working towards freedom. [music] And I mean freedom with your time. Do what you want. Freedom with your location. Go where you want. There's a riot, cool. Go to Tokyo. See you later, bye. Go to Australia. See you later, bye. [music] Freedom, one thing. The next thing that constitutes success as a man is your network. Who are you talking
to? Who are these people? Who will answer your phone calls? Listen, I got two [music] phones, identical almost, twins. I got two phones right here. And I can call one of many multi-millionaires. And when they see my name, they're going [music] to pick up the phone. They're going to be like, "Oh [ __ ] Tate. Oh wait, guys, wait, wait." They're going to stop their conversation and be like, "Woah, Tate, what's What's up, Tate?" Cuz they know I don't call for no [ __ ] They'll be like, "Money Money Money phones ringing." So, I can
call multi-millionaires right now. I can have the best idea in the world. I can call a bunch of multi-millionaires right now and say, "Look, I need 100 mil. Here's my idea. Boom boom boom boom boom. We can make something happen." You can't do that. [music] I can do that. Freedom. And then you get into the aesthetics of life. For people to view you as successful, you need good body language. You need physical presence. A man who's not dangerous, >> [music] >> a man who has no physicality, will never be seen as successful. Oh, I'm successful.
I'm rich. And I da da da. Yeah, but I'll I'll break your neck. Look how big my hand is. I'm going to grab you by your neck and choke you till you die. I'll show you a [music] race riot, [ __ ] Then what? Who's successful now? I'm breathing and you're not. So, I'm more successful than you. So, you can't [music] be a little [ __ ] Females Females are the ultimate status symbol. People think I'm running Listen, people think I'm running around with these hoes cuz I like sex. It's nothing to do with the
reason why I run around with these [ __ ] I got these [ __ ] just so everyone knows who the DON IS. I'M PUTTING these pictures up on Twitter so you know who the man is. I don't give a [ __ ] about these [ __ ] I mean, I'll do it, but I don't care. I'm not sitting here going, "I really want to have sex with this pretty girl." I don't give a [ __ ] I don't give a her. She wants to have sex with me. I'm the best. I'm just doing it
to take pictures and just be like the don. If I walk in the club, me and Tristan, and 25 [ __ ] Who's the richest man in the club? Even if there's a man sitting there, let's say there's some old man from Israel, cuz [music] sometimes there is, some old Israeli, richest fat belly, really works some telecoms company, he had owns a telecoms company, multi-billionaire, sitting there. He's got like two girls. Me and Tristan walk in, young, built like Hercules, turned up, 25 [ __ ] all in love with us. Who's the richest man in
the club? Us. Females are the ultimate status symbol amongst elite players. At my level, everyone's got Lambos. I've got 12 supercars. Who got Lambo? Who hasn't got Lambo nowadays? You ain't got Lambo, you're [ __ ] muncher. You should have a Lambo right now. Everyone has a Lambo or a Ferrari, it's easy. Who's got big booty cuties with their name tattooed on them? >> [music] >> Tate. Only Tate. Me. So, females are status symbol, and I understood this from a young age as well. So, I'm sitting there at a young age thinking, I need to
get a network of high net worth individuals, who are or not even rich men, but men who are driven, men who are making money, and I need to find a way to talk to them, work for them, learn what they know, so I can become one of them. I need to get body language and physicality, I need to Become big and dangerous, I need to be able to display that without saying it. I need women in love with me. I need beautiful women who [music] adore me. I need these things, because this is what shows
the world I'm the dog. So, I'm sitting there, and I understand what I need. And I knew this at 21, 22. A lot of you people are older than this, older You're older than I was, and I'm telling you something, you're sitting there going, "Yeah." Didn't even cross Your mind. You've been too busy jerking off to Pornhub, and [music] not thinking about what you actually need to do to be successful in this life. So, these are the things you need to be a high value man. Because if you have all those things, and then you
get some money, and you have geographical and time freedom, you're now genuinely successful. [music] So, So compare me to the manager we talked about earlier. A manager with a BMW and a fat wife. And then you have Me, the don, who turns up on the Amalfi coast in a Lamborghini with some new [ __ ] to meet a new [ __ ] The both [ __ ] And I can stay there as long as I want cuz my card always works when I pay the hotel and nobody can say [ __ ] to me cuz
I'm too big and mean. So wait, [music] who's successful? Me or or my man? Cuz my man's at work. He's at work sending emails to his staff. "You need to work harder or I'm going to give you A bad report." You look [music] like a geek. So I'm successful. And the truth is, unless you're a hater, I basically live the life every man has ever dreamed of. Unless you're going to sit here and be a hater, I have everything every man's ever dreamed of. I've got a big mansion, I've got supercars, I can live anywhere
I want, I've got unlimited women, I go where I want, I live with my brother and my cousin and my friends. I do anything I want all the time. So I'm an amazing role model cuz I've shown you that by simply understanding what you need and only discussing and talking about the things you know you need, you'll end up having the things you know you need. That's it. Everything in life is basically the same thing. Everything in life is [music] people walking into rooms and saying things. That's what politics is, that's [music] What business is,
that's what negotiate everything. Everything you can think of is some guy walking into [music] somewhere and start to talk. That's what the Senate is, that's what Congress is, that's what court is. >> [music] >> Everything is people blah blah blah. Talking. Talking is something you need to get good at. >> [music] >> If you're good at talking, you have the Gift of the gab as they say, you can sell anything. >> [music] >> No matter what you're selling, the better you get at talking, the better you're going to sell it. >> [music] >> So if
there's one skill you need to practice for your sales, it's how to talk. [music] How to talk convincingly, how to put energy into your presentation, how to Not be boring. [music] Learn to speak. If you don't have my body language course, there's a course on cobratate.com that teaches you body language and we cover oration. We talk about talking and how the way I talk, what I do, things, tips, tricks, [music] etc. If you want to learn to talk like me, the grandmaster, I'll teach you. But, you need to be good at speaking. Being good at
speaking will make you be good at selling. They are the same thing. >> [music] >> Get used to talking. I see so many I've seen I've been in presentations over and over again with people who have a fantastic product, fantastic information, great price point, [music] but just to And the presentation is slick, they've got the PowerPoint, etc. But, they're just not good at talking. There's no [music] X factor with their talk. There's no popow. >> [music] >> You need to have that popow. You need to get good at talking. Practice it. Practice getting good at
talking. That's one of the most important skills you can learn for life. >> [music] >> From getting women to selling products, it's exactly the same thing. You need to get good at talking. >> [music] >> It's important. So, there's lots of different ways to be good at talking. My way, the way I talk, [music] suits my personality. You have to develop your own type. But, I make sure I try my best [music] to make sure I put loads of energy into how I speak. Most people speak and they don't realize super low energy. [music] And
then we will and when you have the ebook, you don't sell the ebook, you Sell the result of the ebook. Because if you sell the ebook, they're you're bored already. I'm bored. So, I scream and I move my arms around and [ __ ] I'm eccentric. [music] I'm over the top. You don't have to be that way. There's other ways you can also be engaging without being the same as me. I know lots of other guys who are engaging other ways. >> [music] >> But, you have to develop an angle to be engaging. So, next
time you talk to someone who's an engaging speaker, find out why they're engaging. >> [music] >> Even some people are engaging cuz they laugh all the time. People like positivity. So, if you're going around someone who's like constantly like laughing when they talk, but then you're like, "Well, you listen more." Cuz what's [ __ ] What the [ __ ] so funny? His [music] His life seems great. I want to know what he knows. Find a way to differentiate yourself one way or another. There's loads of different tips and tricks. I can't [music] tell you
to be like me cuz I'm me and you're you. But you need to find a way to be engaging. And the way you do that [music] is next time you're listening to someone and you're particularly engaged, work out what about them is engaging. So, I like to be high energy. >> [music] >> But high energy always helps. Being low energy never helps anything. Even if you're [ __ ] in bed, at least if you're high energy, you'll be better than if you're low energy. You'll do something. [music] One thing you do need to avoid is
everyone does it, but if you'll notice you're watching this university, I'm not reading off a a teleprompter. I'm doing Everything off the top of my head and I very, very rarely start stuttering or saying uh um uh I've trained it out of my brain. >> [music] >> And I teach how to do that in the body language course. So, if you're watching this and you want to be able to speak like me, free flowing, blah blah, machine gun, get the body language course. But you start slowly. >> [music] >> You talk slowly, you breathe, you
make sure you don't make any uh um and then you get better at it and then you can be as quick as me. Now, I talk very, very [music] fast without mistakes, without gaps. Uh and um will lose you a deal. Oh, so explain to me how the [music] flux capacitor works. Uh um okay, so uh you just lost it. You just lost the deal right there. >> [music] >> And 99% of people will do exactly that. Even people who are good, even experienced people. Uh okay, so um uh Why? How's the flux capacitor work?
I'm going to tell you exactly how the flux capacitor works. [music] Here's how it works. Look at this. I just I just got the deal. You didn't. All I did was repeat his question. >> [music] >> You're saying uh so you have time to Think. I'm repeating the question so I have time to think. >> [music] >> Tell me how the flux capacitor works. Uh okay, uh uh or tell me how the flux capacitor works. I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I'm going to tell you exactly how the flux capacitor works. [music] All
I did was repeat his question. It's not complicated. There's tips and tricks so you learn how to speak without sounding like a [ __ ] Uh uh If someone uhs and uhs in a presentation with me, I won't buy from them. >> [music] >> Cuz I don't like that [ __ ] I don't speak that way. Learn how to not speak that way. If you're watching this and you want to learn what I know about how to talk, get the body language course. It'll teach you. I gave you one [music] little trick there. But there's
a bunch more. Next, everything will go wrong all the time. Everything will go wrong all the time. That's why you need to have a high stress tolerance, >> [music] >> and that's also why you need rule number one. Your best weapon against things going wrong is rule number one, speed. Speed [music] defies gravity. If you get water in a bucket and you spin it round really fast, the water doesn't come out The bucket. As soon as you slow down, it falls out. [music] Speed is that powerful. You have to be able to work quickly. You
need people around you who work quickly. You need teams which react to things quickly, quickly, quickly, quickly. [music] Everything will go wrong all the time. The faster you can plug the hole and fix things, the faster you're going to be back online making money. So, [music] anticipate things going wrong. High stress tolerance, and speed is the remedy [music] to all your issues. No matter what the issue is, no matter what the ailment, you need to do things quickly to get it fixed. >> [music] >> Always. As long as you can keep this going, you've got
your business going. So, let's say you've got your business, put titties [music] on the board now. We'll leave the titties. You've got your business, money's coming in, your back end fails. [music] Your big back end all up. Oh, no, everything's gone wrong. Do you know I do in that situation? Most people in that situation goes, "Oh, well, we can't take orders because we can't see who what order that a No, not interested. My business is still running. As long as my payment gateway is taking Some money, my business is running. I'll deal with the [
__ ] show. >> [music] >> And I'll be And I'll be And I'll fix the [ __ ] show. I'll deal with it using rule number one, speed. [music] But, I'm not turning off my tap. As long as this is happening, you won't go out of business. >> [music] >> You won't lose. You will only lose when this stops. So, even if everything in your whole company's gone wrong, you're going to sleep [music] less. You're going to get fixed. You're going to fix it with speed. You've got a higher stress tolerance. You'll deal with it.
Your staff understands. Speed, speed, speed, speed. You're going to tear through the mess [music] manually. You're going to go through manually, one by one, and get it fixed. But, you're not going to stop your business running. This is your business. Never, ever, ever let this get [music] up, ever. If everything goes down, what's the first thing you fix? This is a test. Everything goes down, what's the first thing you get back online? How to take money. You don't care about anything else until this is online. >> [music] >> There's nothing else to that. It's like,
what's going wrong in your life? What's the first thing you fix? You fix oxygen. If you ain't got oxygen, the game's up. Nothing else is important. That's what this is. >> [music] >> You fix this. Get the payments coming in. Don't worry about it. Worst case, everything's so [ __ ] up, you can't even see what people bought. Don't worry. Don't worry about it. They'll email you. Hey, I spent money on your website, I ain't got my product. Oh, really? Please Tell me the time and date. I'm sorry about that. [music] Here's the time and
date. Okay, yeah, they did buy. Okay, confirm it. Okay. Yeah, sorry about that. We're going to send you a free gift, apologize for the delay. Done. Problem solved. Kept the money in. You got them happy, they got a free gift. Wait for them to email [music] you. Keep the money coming at all costs. Super, super important. Everything's going to go wrong. As long as you keep this Going, and you work quickly, you can fix the other [ __ ] Don't let anyone come up to you and say, "Well, we can't do this cuz the back
end the back end." I'm going to sit in the front end. The back end. Give me my money [music] today. Next, if you find This is a staff tip. Number 41. [music] Let me clear my board. No more tips. Sorry if you've been jerking off, enjoying my beautiful pornography. [music] She's got to go. Number 41. Everything I know about business from start [music] to [ __ ] finish. Every single business I run, I run by these principles. Every single business I run, I run by these principles. Literally, every single one of them. 41. If you
can find a loyal person, find them [music] a job. So, most people approach recruitment like, I have a job I need to fill, let me find a person. I approach recruitment the other way around. I try my best to go through life, as I interact with people, if I find a person who I believe would be a good fit for my own leadership style, which is do whatever I say and do it quickly, then I'll find them work. >> [music] >> You can always find more work. The work is never done. Work is a black
hole. Even if it's just to sit on my Twitter account and retweet tweets [music] all day. Still work. Still engagement. Still attention. Still advertising. [music] If I find someone who fits my style and I believe they'd be a good worker and they're loyal to me and I know that I'm I'm going to be able to count on them, I'll find [music] work for them. Don't turn down people you think will be good because you can't find work. If you're running a business and you can't Think of work to do for an employee, then you shouldn't
run a business. It's very [music] easy to find work. There's always something to do. It's always Twitter to tweet or blogs to write or go on Reddit and post [music] forums and post [ __ ] with links to your product. There's always something to do. If you find a good person, hire them and find a job afterwards. That's key. >> [music] >> And then as jobs, real jobs appear in your organization as you grow, you'll already have loyal members of staff you can reorganize. >> [music] >> Don't throw away loyal people because you don't know
exactly what they're going to do straight away. That's 41. 42, aim way too high. And when I say way too high, I mean way too high. Now, don't be one of those jackasses [music] That comes along going, "Yeah, I'm going to have a like on Dragon's Den or some [ __ ] or The Apprentice. I'm going to have a business worth $500 million. I'm going to be a multi-millionaire." Don't be an idiot. But you need to aim too high. The higher you aim, the higher you'll [music] get. If you aim for the moon, you'll get
to the stars. If you aim for the stars, you'll get to the sky. If [music] you Aim for the sky, you won't get off the ground. That's how it goes. You need to aim high. Be realistic. Don't be a dick. [music] But you do need to aim too high. Whatever your expectations are, you need to triple at least quadruple. >> [music] >> Because if your product is good and you're doing a good job >> [music] >> and you're selling it to the whole world, why can't you be a billionaire? Why not? If you're doing a
good job and selling [music] a good product to the whole world, why couldn't you? So, you need to aim much higher than you're currently aiming. It's going to help you [music] reach higher levels. Just don't be one of them deluded [ __ ] who's already talking about half a million dollar turnover when he has literally sold [music] zero. I guess another way to phrase this lesson number 42 is, never be content. So, when your money's coming in, >> [music] >> let's say you get to the point where you're doing $2,000 a day, $1,000 a day,
whatever. Never sit there and go, "Oh, this is pretty good." It's never good. It's never good enough, ever. It's never enough. [music] It's never good enough. It's never good Enough to make you happy. Be greedy. Want more. Aim high all the time. >> [music] >> It's your instant source of motivation. If you're happy and content with what's coming in, you're not going to aim high enough. You have to be pushing [music] forward. Remember, always looking to the new money. Forget the old money. Aim higher all of the time. I can't stress [music] that enough. Next
lesson, Irrational self-confidence without being a bullshitter. >> [music] >> People like confidence. If I'm going to spend my money with you, I want you to be extremely confident on what you're doing with my money. If I'm going to Okay, so let's say I'm going in for surgery. I'm going to go see a doctor [music] for surgery. Do I want that doctor to be confident about the operation or [music] nervous? Do I want the doctor to say, "Yeah, I've done this a loads of times. Yeah, I know exactly what we're going to do here. Yeah, it's
easy. It's simple. I've done [music] it loads of times." Or do I want him to be like, "Oh, well, yeah, I mean, things can go wrong and you know, >> [music] >> you know, I didn't sleep last night." What do you want? You want confidence. So, someone's [music] going to spend Money with you, they want you to be confident all the time. >> [music] >> So, you have to be confident in your delivery. Now, don't be a bullshitter. Don't come along and say I know more about girls than Andrew Tate cuz everyone's going to know
you're an idiot cuz you're not. Anyone who's seen the PhD [music] course knows that. But, still, you need to be super confident at All times. So, if anyone's going to spend money with you, they need to be confident. So, when I used to go into sales, when I would uh go sell things, when I was [music] doing television advertising, I would say I was the best. Say I was the best. Now, I was relatively new to the game. I'd say, "Yeah, I've been in this game a long time. I've met a lot of people and
I've let a lot of let a lot of agencies see How they do things. >> [music] >> I'm really I'm not I'm I'm not trying to sound conceited, but I'm very sure that we are the best at what we do." And they'll be like, "Oh, okay." So, no, really, [music] we're the best at what we do. In terms of price-wise and the way we plan the media, I know we're the best. We're the best in the country. Do I have any [music] evidence? No. Just say it. Who gives a [ __ ] Evidence? What evidence?
They go, "Why?" And I say, "Oh, because of the way we do planning and the price [music] point we work out. I've been in this industry a long time. I've seen lots of people and I've also taken lots of big clients from other competitors. So, I know that we're the best." Bang. >> [music] >> Just say it right there. And if you say it so confidently, they're not going to Be like, "Well, no, you're not." They don't know. They don't know anything about your industry. How are they going [music] to disprove it? They'll be like,
"Oh, okay. Oh, well." People love confidence. They want to give their money to the best [music] cuz they know the best is going to give them the best job. It's better to be irrationally self-confident than not. This also ties into the um and ah thing. Did you notice how smooth I Was right then when I said why [music] I'm the best? Did I go, "Um, I think ah, we're the best." No. >> [music] >> I'm the best. Any job you do, any client you're going to land, you need to sit there and say, "I'm the
best at what I do. I'm the best at what I do." What they going to do is say, "No, you're not." Yeah, I am. >> [music] >> No, you're not. How do you know? It's my Industry, not yours. I'm telling you I'm the best at what I do. You're not going to find anyone better than me for this price point. [music] No way. Impossible. I am the best. There's no one else in the world who does what I do at this cost. I'm [music] the best. Congratulations, you found the best. You're lucky. Irrational self-confidence. You
don't need to be a bullshitter, but you need to be super self-confident. Smooth with it. James Bond. He [music] just walks in. He's outnumbered. Everyone wants to kill him. I'm the best. Doesn't matter. I'm I'm me. I'm a G. That's how you have to be. Irrational self-confidence. [music] Super important. A lot of people don't have enough confidence when they're trying to sell. I don't know why. You're trying to sell something and you're being all like, "Oh, well, maybe. Maybe." Irrational self-confidence. [music] Now, next point. 45. We're on 45. We're almost halfway. This is [music] going
to another thing that's going to change the way you view business and money. I want you to understand something. >> [music] >> Money cannot be made. I don't even like the saying making money. We're making money. Nobody's making money. The Federal Reserve makes money. >> [music] >> You're not the Federal Reserve. If you are the Federal Reserve and you bought my course, I'm very, very humbled. But I doubt [music] it. You're not the Federal Reserve. You're an individual. We're not [music] the Rothschilds. We're [ __ ] munchers, which means we cannot make money. All we
can do is take [music] money from other people. Money exists and we have to take it. Dan the crackhead said to me something Once. >> [music] >> When when our TV business was doing deals and there was money all around. We had no profit, but there was money in the bank and we had new cars and this big fancy office all this money. I said, "How did this happen? This is [music] crazy. I'm 20. I've got this advertising agency." He said, "Money's like water >> [music] >> and water is always moving. So, you have a
ocean and the sun evaporates the water, goes into a cloud, and the cloud moves and then it rains, and then it goes in a river, and it goes to a [music] pond, and then it evaporates again from the sun. Water never stays still. The cycle of precipitation, some [music] geography for you. And he said, "Water Money is like water, it's always moving. And if You stand in the right place at the right time, you're going to get wet." And that's [music] absolutely true. So, money cannot be made. It can only be taken from someone else.
>> [music] >> You stand in the right place at the right time where money's moving, you're going to take it. 99% of people are middlemen. Most people are middlemen. Everyone's a middleman to some degree. Loads of companies exist out there that are just simply middlemen. All they do is there's something [music] This This is a product. This person wants the product. They're in the middle. They make money. They supply the product. Done. >> [music] >> And it really ain't that complicated. They're middlemen. So, money cannot be made, it can only be taken [music] from Other
people. So, every single penny that comes in your bank is not made, it's taken from someone else. Why are they going to give you their money? Why? [music] It's a serious question. Get a piece of paper and write down, "I have this. I'm selling to this person. [music] They will give me their money because" and you should be able to name a bunch of reasons and if you can't, you have [music] a problem. Don't Be thinking about making money. You're not making money. You are taking money. [music] And because you are taking it, you have
to convince it from others. That will change the way you approach your marketing, change the way you view money, >> [music] >> change the way you approach your business. Cuz that's the reality of what's Happening. You're not making [ __ ] You're taking [ __ ] >> [music] >> It's very, very different. You're convincing it, prying it from them. Precipitation cycle for >> [music] >> bonus. Next, don't make anyone irreplaceable. This is a very simple one, but I've seen it happen [music] time and time again. You're a guy, you're busy, you get an Assistant, your
assistant is exceptionally good, your assistant knows all the passwords and [ __ ] you don't know because you're busy and you're in a rush. You know the end of the [music] story. Don't make anyone irreplaceable. I wrote this down because I've seen two people lose their companies because they lost either their top salesman >> [music] >> or an assistant. So, if your top Salesman's floating your company, he's irreplaceable. You need to fix that quickly. So, with T2, we had one salesman who was better than all the rest, [music] his name was Gert who was really,
really good. And we didn't make him irreplaceable and when he left, we [music] really suffered. What I should have done is go to Gert and say, "You know what, bro? You're really, really good. >> [music] >> You're amazing. Da, da, da, da. Do you mind on Fridays, if every Friday morning you give a speech or you teach the guys the pitch or what you're saying on the phone and then you can have Friday afternoon off. [music] I'll give you a day off a week or I'll give you some extra money or I'll we'll go out
for lunch or I'll give you a company car, anything. If you can teach, you don't mind, you [music] know. In fact, you Probably would have done it for free cuz people like the ego thing. The promotion of telling others what [music] to do. How about every Friday you can teach the guys and we can go through the script and they can learn from you. To make the others get up to par so he's less irreplaceable. Take what he knows. >> [music] >> Never make anybody irreplaceable. If you see or identify someone as Irreplaceable, or you
look at your company and go, "I [music] couldn't survive without this person." then you're in trouble. You should always have a company, and you should work with people, and it should be fantastic, but you should know if any of them leave you, you can find someone else at all times. Next, another basic sales tactic. [music] Tell people they can't have things. You already should know this if you've sold anything before. But you should know, tell people they can't have things. All the time I tell people they can't have things. If you tell people they can't
have things, they want [music] things. This is the reality of the world. So, let's say someone calls you to buy, let's say you sell flux capacitors. >> [music] >> I'm going to draw a flux capacitor. Let's say you sell flux capacitors. And someone calls up and goes, "I need two flux capacitors, [music] please." First thing you say to them is, "Oh, yeah, sure. Okay, no problem. Let me just check and make sure we have some cuz >> [music] >> they've been in high demand at the moment. I think we might be sold out. I'm not
sure we have any. What What do you need them for?" "Oh, I actually want to buy them for X Y Z." "Okay, I don't I Don't think we have any right now. Let me get back to you. What's your name, number, [music] data?" So, what just happened in that exchange? Dude wants the flux capacitor. I am in the middle. In that short exchange, I told him one, he may not be able to have the flux capacitors. [music] And two, I asked him why he needs the flux capacitors. So, one, I told him he can't have
it. And [music] two, I asked him why he needs it to reconfirm in his Mind that he needs it. >> [music] >> I don't know we have any. Maybe there's something else. Can I ask what you want to use it for? Oh, I need it because my dick is too small. >> [music] >> And I want to use the flux capacitor to grow a man-size penis. That's fine. I don't think we have any. So, he's reconfirmed his need, and I've told him he can't have it. Takeaway. [music] His desire for the flux capacitor is higher
now than it was before. He wants it more than ever. So, this is obviously one example of how this can be done, [music] but you apply this basic principle. Get them to confirm what they need, tell them they cannot have it. You cannot have what you want. You cannot have it. You're not allowed it. Well, I eventually call him back and go, "Okay, how many did you need?" Two. All right, I can get hold of two for you, but it's going to be difficult. Are you looking to purchase right away? Oh, well, I'll see you
next week. Okay, well, I I don't know if we're going to even have any then, so bye. Are you going to purchase right away? Yeah, I am. So, if you ask someone, "Are you looking to purchase right away?" and they say yes, stop. [music] Deal's done. They're going to I'm giving you credit card details. They've already said yes. Looking to Purchase right away. Bang, done. This is sales. You've managed to fulfill his need. Buy it now. Tell people they cannot have things. >> [music] >> Now, a lot of people will do this online with the
simple running out of time. Uh this book won't be allowed around forever, blah, blah. But, that's [ __ ] because [music] any book is around forever. So, everyone knows you're just Doing it because it's garbage. If you actually could use your brain and think outside the box a little bit, you could find a better way to do it than that. >> [music] >> Telling people they can't have things. So, for example, if you sold a $17 ebook on [music] girls, let's say. Saying the ebook won't be around forever, mhm. Everyone's like, "Bro, It's an ebook.
[music] It literally will last forever. Shut up." If you say, "I'm going to cap the number of sales cuz I don't want people stealing my lines or I don't want my lines to become less [music] effective." That's probably a better angle. It's not a fantastic angle, but it's better. At least it has some kind of validity to it. >> [music] >> Telling people they can't have things is A fantastic way to make people want things. It works. Here's a little example of how that's done. We're going to come back to this point later in another
point I'm going to mention. I nearly I nearly start talking [music] about something, but I shut up cuz I know it's a later point. Learning. We have reached the halfway point of your education. Point [music] 50. And I've deliberately made this point point 50 so I can tell you something that you already know about yourselves >> [music] >> halfway through this presentation. You already know what to do for your business. >> [music] >> You already know how to make money. You're lazy. And I'll give you an example. The other Day I was talking to some
chick. >> [music] >> Story of my life. She's talking [ __ ] Obviously. About how she wants to run a makeup company. [music] I said, "If you want to run a makeup company, why don't you have a makeup company?" She goes, "Oh, yeah. I know, but you know, I don't know what to do." >> [music] >> So, I said, "Okay, I'll tell you exactly what to do. Here's what you do." Let me clean my board. Here's what you do. >> [music] >> Go to Alibaba.com, get some samples of makeup, find one you like, put a
new sticker on [music] it, make a website, sell it on your website, get YouTubers who talk about makeup to talk about your makeup brand, sell makeup. [music] Done. You own a makeup company. She was, "That's a good idea, actually." I go, "Yeah, it is." A week later, I said, "How much makeup you sold?" >> [music] >> She was, "What do you mean?" So, I told you how to do an entire makeup brand from start to finish. Told you to do an entire company. How much have you sold? She was, "Oh, well." She did nothing. Seven
days, she did nothing. I told her how to run a whole company. You wanted to run a makeup brand. I just told you how to do it. Didn't do it. A lot of you are out there already sitting on ideas. And guess why you're not doing them? >> [music] >> Cuz you're lazy. You know how to do it, but you won't do it. You already know what you should do. You already know how to do it, but you're not doing it because you're lazy. [music] You already have the idea. Go. Stop waiting. Number one, speed
is Everything. What are you waiting for? If you were to [music] start the idea a week ago, it'd be ready by now. You're around. A lot of people out there with business already know what to do. They just are lazy, and they don't get it done. If you're waiting, hoping you need some kind of investment, or you're waiting for something, you should have learned enough in the first half of this Hustlers University that you don't get That about yourself, and accept that if you really had the tenacity that you desire, you really had the tenacity
to get what you desire, if you were really like me, a go-getter, a warrior, you'd already be doing [ __ ] Too much waiting, too much talking, [music] not enough action. I managed to get you here watching this program, and I got paid to do so, and I had this idea 32 hours ago when I was yelling at someone not to go to university. I move Quick. That's why I'm rich and you're not. Miss makeup bimbo is what 99% of people are when it comes to business. >> [music] >> They have an idea and even
if you tell them exactly how to do it, they don't do anything. They just sit around waiting for a makeup brand to fall out of the sky and land on their face. Garbage. 51 Welcome to the second half of the Hustlers University. You should have Surely learned a lot so far. I know what you're thinking. Andrew, you've already taught me too much. [music] Andrew, you've already opened my eyes to a new way of thinking. I never thought about business or money this way. Andrew, you've already taught me so much. I already have had all the
value I deserve for this course. >> [music] >> You should stop it right here. I know. I know. But I'm generous. So, we're going To do it again. 50 more points. 50 more [music] lessons. Pay attention. First, 51. Why are you running your business? Genuine question. As a hustler, why are you running your business? >> [music] >> I'm pausing so you can think about it. If you don't know the answer, I'll tell you the answer. The answer is for money. That's why you run your business. People will come to you all The time and say,
"Start a business you're passionate about." [ __ ] You're only passionate about one thing. Cash. It doesn't matter if you sell rocks. Doesn't matter if you sell jellyfish scrota. Who gives a [ __ ] >> [music] >> Doesn't matter what you sell. It matters that it sells. Sell what sells and get rich. [music] Be passionate for profit. People come to me and go, "I need to start a business I I know about and I'm passionate about." No, you don't. I could sell a makeup brand today. I don't know anything about makeup. [music] But I know
with my business acumen, the lessons I've already taught, the way I'd start the company bringing money in before I put money out, the way that I'd move quickly, the way I know I'd make money. I'd make money with a makeup brand. Fact. Fact. [music] And I don't Know anything about makeup. Never worn it in my life. Hang up. You don't need to know about things to sell things. You need to know about selling to sell things. [music] The idea that you need to be passionate about the business to make money from it is complete airy-fairy
[ __ ] that idiots [music] say. You are passionate only about what's making you money. You are passionate for profit. You're not passionate about product. So, if you can make money selling concrete, let me tell you something. [music] There's some Chinese billionaire out there. B, not M, B, who's selling rocks and concrete and making [music] billions. Do you think he's passionate about concrete? Do you think he's making love to concrete, kissing it late at night, hugging it in bed? Do you think he's got a concrete doll and he's made a little hole for his dick?
No. He doesn't give a [ __ ] about concrete. He gives a [ __ ] about money. As should you. Drop that I need to be passionate garbage. Passionate for profit only. 52. >> [music] >> This is specifically for you social media markers. War is profitable, [music] but not always. So, I get this a lot. I see a lot of people who have digital products [music] Constantly in battles with other people in the space trying to get attention through war to try and sell products. War online is very much like real war, and you need
to sit and plan and strategize if it's worthwhile. What are your end goals? What are your end objectives? [music] How are you going to achieve them? Is your end goal and objective just to get people paying attention to your tweets? Is your end goal and Objective [music] to sell products? Is your end goal and objective to defame and to devalue the the [music] status of your opponent? What is the end goal and objective? War can be profitable, but you need to make sure it is worthwhile. You shouldn't be arguing with small accounts, people who are
smaller than you. I will only beef with someone if they have more than 10,000 followers. Know your place, [music] know Their place. War can be profitable, but you need a strategy for war. So, when I went to war with the [music] Star Wars guys, let's show the Star Wars tweets again. My strategy was clear. Who likes Star Wars? Guys. If you meet hot girls who doesn't like Star Wars, really, they don't care. Who's passionate about Star Wars? Guys. [music] What kind of guys? Dorks. What do dorks need? Well, dorks usually have some money cuz they're
dorks, but they They have any girls. [music] So, if you will go through my Star Wars thread, you will see my strategy is simple for war. Sell my PhD course. >> [music] >> Sell the ability to get girls. Show lots of girls. Sell the ability to how to obtain females. [music] That was my strategy for that battle. And it worked fantastically well. That weekend I sold a lot PhD course. I think [music] I did like 15,000 or something. All basically off the fact that I said Star Wars was [ __ ] I had a clear
objective for my battle. >> [music] >> Most people will go viral or they'll go battle and they haven't got a clear objective. They don't know what they're trying to do. I knew exactly what I was trying [music] to do. Poke the geeks, annoy the geeks, annoy the nerds, and then and then off the back of it, be humorous enough for them to entertain The idea of learning from me how to get girls. [music] That made me money. War needs strategy. So, if you're going to go to war in any way, either in the physical world
or the internet reality, you need to be prepared. [music] And you're not prepared without strategy. So, war is only profitable if you have a strategy. Have a clear end goal. Have a clear objective. Don't end up like America stuck in the Middle East in forever endless pointless nothing Wars. That's what most people online are doing. Constantly jabbing at each other for no reason. [music] It's pathetic. I don't go to war often. If I go to war, it's going to pay me. I don't lose money to go to war. War is profitable, but only if you
do it right. >> [music] >> Keep that in mind. 53. Another thing that sells. We already talked about predicting the future and preempting the future. Presume the sale by talking About the future. Do you know what else makes people buy things? FOMO. Fear of missing [music] out. I know you know this already. You're thinking, "Tate, I already know that." How do you instill FOMO? Well, here's how most of you guys instill FOMO. "If [music] you don't buy now, it's not but but everyone else likes it, so Okay." Every every even even successful [music] people are
herd mentality. Even very successful people are sheep. If they think everyone else is doing it, they're going to do it. It's the same with fashion trends. How many stupid dumb pieces of clothing have you seen people wearing? Everyone else is wearing it. People need to know that lots of other people are buying. You need to make it find a way to make that clear. Lots of people are buying. Lots of people are doing this. You're the one who are not doing it. So, with this university, I told the [music] truth. I've been very, very impressed
with how many sign-ups I've had. I've not lied. I didn't need to. So, I've had lots of sign-ups. But lots of people are learning all of my secrets to making money. You don't know. That person has FOMO now. I don't need to say I'm closing the uni. I need To say, "Look, these know a whole bunch of stuff you don't know." I did this all the time with advertising. It's fantastic with advertising. >> [music] >> This is a really busy time of year for us. I used to say this, you know what? Any time of
year. January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November. Didn't matter. Do you know what I used to say? I say, "This is a really busy time of year for us cuz people are gearing up for Christmas." >> [music] >> They're like, "Christmas? It's March." I'm like, "Yeah, exactly. People are preparing already for the Christmas rush." It's March. So, now they're sitting there going, "It's March. We haven't even thought about Christmas [music] yet. All these other businesses are thinking about Christmas." They're thinking about doing adverts at Christmas. It's March. We haven't even thought
[music] about Christmas. Yeah, yeah. Oh, your [ __ ] Oh, [ __ ] Christmas. [ __ ] [ __ ] I used to say that any time of year. December 1st or January 1st. I'd say January 1st, I used to say when I used to go to meetings and say, "You know what's funny about January?" They'd say, "What?" I'd say, "We used to sign up We sign up most of Our Christmas advertising this month." [music] They're like, "Really?" I'm like, "Yeah, yeah. We're preparing for Christmas in January. After Christmas, everyone's made a lot of money
with TV advertising. People have made a lot of money in the campaigns you've already run. So, now they're already [music] preparing for the next campaigns at Christmas. So, we're actually gearing up for Christmas right now." People be sitting there Going, "Oh, maybe I need to do a campaign at Christmas. Other people are doing things. You're not doing anything. You are lazy. You are slow. Other people are ahead of you. >> [music] >> Quickly, get on the train. The train's leaving. Quickly, get on. Quickly, pay the invoice. Yep, thanks." That's how you do it. I do
all the time with advertising. Talk about other people Buying. It sells. [music] Always talk about other people buying. Super important cuz it sells. Cuz [music] it one, it instills some confidence in them that you're a real person, a real company. Two, it allows their thinking to be checked. >> [music] >> Well, I I it's a good idea. And all these other people think it's a good idea, so it must be a good idea. So, on my website, you'll notice on Cobratate.com, I have something called social proof. I pay money to have that thing in the
bottom that tells people every time someone buys from my website. So, when you go on my website, you see other people are learning. You're not learning, but other people are. FOMO. Super important. You can apply this to nearly any other company, any other business. >> [music] >> Other people need to buy. Super important. 54. Chaos and opportunity. >> [music] >> I once got told that chaos and opportunity are the same word in Japanese. I don't know [music] if that's true, but I'm going to say it. Chaos and opportunity are the same word in Japanese. >>
[music] >> In other words, every cloud has a silver Lining. Every time stuff's up, every time there's chaos, every time there's a mess, >> [music] >> there is an opportunity. A huge opportunity. And you have to find a way to identify [music] one way or another. That's all it is. There's always a way to identify. So, what's [music] a chaos? What's a I don't know. It's stuck in my head. It doesn't matter what it is. The point is, you already applied speed to fix it, [music] but you need to find a way to twist it
in your favor. There's always a way to twist it in your favor. So, it doesn't matter what it is. Let's say your back end isn't done properly. >> [music] >> Your back end is missing a bunch of Vital information, let's say. Okay, cool. So, you need a whole bunch of orders. You [music] need something You need people to fill in some information to fill in the back end. Then you hit up all your customers with a ridiculous deal. [music] 99 cents for our face cream. Usually $10.99. 99 [music] cents if you buy it with any
other product. Some ridiculous deal. Even if it's a break-even. What do you get? You get a whole bunch of orders, fills in your back end, your back end's back. Even if you just broke even on it, you filled in your back end, you've got some more loyal customers who are more prepared [music] and more used to spending money on your website. Bang, done. There's always an opportunity. Doesn't matter how tough things go wrong, there's always an opportunity somewhere, you just need to find it. [music] You got to sniff it out. Something's gone There must be
some way here I can make some money. >> [music] >> And everything has to feed back to remember the money in. That's important. Chaos and opportunity are the same thing. Especially that's chaos within your business. If there's chaos within your market, it's even [music] better. So, I don't know. Let's say Okay, off top of my head. 9/11. Why did I keep it off the top of My >> [music] >> 9/11 stopped the airline industry. All the planes got grounded. >> [music] >> No one could fly. Huge lines at the airports. That was like chaos. There's
chaos within the industry. So, where's the opportunity? Solved top of my head. If I was an airline executive boss, I'd be going, "Okay, From now on when we sell tickets, we're going to sell [music] it with an added option for insurance for refunds in the event of a terror attack or an unpredictable event. We're going to contact the big insurance company. We're going to get them to insure us. [music] We don't have to really do anything. We'll get them to insure us and we'll sell the insurance packages on top at premium and make some extra
money. [music] Cuz now people are Who've been stuck in the airport for four days, next time they book a flight, they're going to be like, "Yeah, you know what? I'm going to pay for the [music] insurance. I remember last time it was a nightmare. If I pay for this, I get all my money back and they'll and they'll put me up to bed." Chaos in the industry. Opportunity to make more money. This come to me off the top of my head. Where else was there a huge chaos in an industry? [music] Can you think of
chaos in an industry? It happens now and again. Now and again things really go wrong. >> [music] >> So, who knows? But it happens all the time on smaller levels. And when there's chaos within a specialized industry, you need to find and a way [music] to monetize it like I just did there with 9/11 and the airlines. Cuz there's always a way to monetize chaos. So, when things go Wrong, it happens. So, like the YouTube apocalypse for example. [music] Everything went super super wrong with all the YouTubers who were making loads and loads of money
off advertising and then the ad apocalypse happened, they weren't making money off advertising anymore. So, let's say that I'm a YouTuber and I see [music] this has happened, there's huge chaos in the industry. No one's making money off advertising anymore. Do You know what you do? Well, I'd go, "Okay, well that means I need to sell merchandise." [music] So, I'd contact all the other big YouTubers and say, "Hey, I've got a really good link for merchandise if you're interested in selling merch." [music] I'd start a merch company. Or I get a link with a merch
company for commission. It's not complicated. So, let's look at the Adpocalypse. Everyone, I don't know if you know what Happened. Everyone had all these big YouTube channels, they're making loads and loads and loads of money. Overnight, that all goes down to zero. >> [music] >> Now, they still got viewerships, but they got no money. So, how do they make money from there? Well, they all decided to start selling merchandise, but they don't have any merchandise [music] set up or or worked out. Me as a big YouTuber, I contact a merchandise Company, explain the Adpocalypse, explain
what [music] happened, explain I want to produce my own merchandise, and explain that I know 10 other big YouTubers who are going to go to another merchandise company, but I'm going to bring them to you if you'll give me a cut of how much money they bring you. And they'll [music] Anyone in their right mind would go, "Well, okay." Get on the phone. Old school. Yeah, I know 10 other YouTubers who I've met with and I work with, blah blah blah. They were going to use this merch website. Just Google another one. And I'm saying
that I want to use you, but if I bring them all to you, I want 5% of their turnover. They'll agree. [music] Bang. Now, from the chaos in the industry, you've become the shark of merch. Now, you're making money off all of their YouTube channels >> [music] >> with one phone call. By just being a G, Now every time jackass one and jackass two sells a hat, you get paid. Before, you didn't get none of their money. You just knew them. Now, all you have to do is call them up and say, "Bro, Adpocalypse is
[ __ ] but I know an awesome company that's going to sell us merch. We're going to sell merch and make money." Bang. Chaos in the industry [music] is an opportunity every time if you think like me. If you think like a hustler. This [music] is setting up a company, a revenue stream, that costs you nothing. There's no outlay to this. This is just a phone call and a hustler's mindset. Bang, [music] you got paid. Chaos is opportunity. Find it every time. Why I think I fight. >> [music] >> Do I enjoy it? No. Do
I enjoy training? No. Do I enjoy cutting weight? No. Am I nervous? Yes. [music] Do I think to myself, "What am I doing?" Yes. Completely. Unfortunately, it's one of those things you're either born with or you're not. And [music] the only way I can explain it, to try and make it make any sense, is that if I'm not doing something which is either extremely difficult or extremely stressful, I'm in a perpetual state of crippling boredom. I can't explain it. I see other people live their lives and they're like, "Oh, I Can't wait for the weekend
cuz I want to watch this movie." >> [music] >> I think, "Who cares about a movie? You're looking forward to the weekend for a movie? Looking forward to the weekend to get drunk?" Like, these things to me are so mundane. They mean nothing. And if I don't fight, if I'm not in a situation where I'm stressed or worried or [clears throat] concerned, I'm just >> [music] >> perpetually bored. And boredom's crippling. If you're an intelligent person and you've got a good brain on your shoulders, you can't just sit there bored, you know? [music] So, most
smart people take the academic route to avoid boredom and they learn learn learn learn learn. But, that's never really interested me, either. Although I've always been an intelligent guy and I've always done well academically, it was it Never really interested me. And then I see people climb Mount Everest or jump off buildings or do base [music] jumping or the guy who jumped from space. People think, "What's he doing? He's crazy." I understand. Because some people can't live normal lives. Some people cannot just function 9:00 to 5:00 office job, get drunk at the weekends. [music] That
is not for some individuals and it's not for me. So, I have to find something which keeps me physically tired enough To stop me going AWOL um and mentally tired enough. And I've chosen fighting because without this, when I'm not in [music] training, I wake up every day and think, "Okay, what am I going to do today? It's 9:00 a.m. on a Tuesday. I'm bored. Everyone's at work. I'm bored." And I'll end up doing something crazy. I'll either end up drunk or or on the Eurostar or, you know, it's just it's just a random lifestyle
cuz I'm constantly looking for never-ending Entertainment. It doesn't exist. >> [music] >> I think the only thing that could stop me fighting is if I had enough money to constantly entertain myself. Unless I'm a billionaire, I need something that keeps me focused and keeps me occupied in life. With fighting, I have to train twice a day and I have to train hard. And [music] the stress can be the stress it brings in every aspect can replace fun and my mind is occupied. It occupies Me. So, It's only I can try and explain it, occupies me
>> [music] >> and I could never stop doing this even if I lost 100 fights because I'm not built to live a normal existence. I can't do it. I couldn't just have a kid with some girl and sit at home and work a little bit and relax. I've never relaxed in my entire life. I don't know what relaxing is. It's just not me. I [music] was a four-time kickboxing world Champion. For 12 years I trained 5 hours a day, 6 days a week, and I was motivated to train [music] probably about 25% of the time.
The rest of the time I went because I am disciplined. You don't feel like going through that [ __ ] on a Wednesday morning when you wake up, but you have to do it cuz you're disciplined. You're either a disciplined individual or you are not a disciplined >> [music] >> There's There's There's a difference between want and want, and I say this all the time. People say to me, "I want to be rich." And I say, "Okay, well, I want to be able to ice skate, but I don't want to be able to ice skate
enough to go learn how to ice skate cuz I can't [music] be bothered." I I mean, surely if I could click my fingers and be a figure skater, I'd I'd click my fingers. Who wouldn't? [music] But I don't want to actually go train cuz it's cuz it's I don't I don't want it enough. >> [music] >> And this is exactly the point with money. Everyone wants money put on their lap. If you truly wanted money, >> [music] >> you wouldn't be able to sleep until you had it. And this is the point cuz when I
had nothing, I couldn't be distracted. You couldn't distract me from what I Wanted. That's who I am. If I want something, I'm going to get it. I I do not need to be motivated. I'm a disciplined [music] person. If I allocate X amount of time to work, I'm going to do it. But that is the bottom line answer. It's discipline. You're going to have to work when you don't feel like working. That's how it's going to have to be or you're never going [music] to be anything. One of the only things in this World you
can control is your state of mind. You can't control the weather. You can't control other people. You can't even control your health. >> [music] >> You might get a brain hemorrhage. You might get hit by a bus. One of the very few things in the world you have genuine control over >> [music] >> is your state of mind. You decide if you're a disciplined person. You decide If you're a happy person. You You if you're a depressed person. These are things that in real time you can affect in your brain. This is all you can
control on Earth. If you can't control that, then you're just a feather in the wind. And life's going to blow you around and you might land somewhere good, you might land in dog [ __ ] nobody [music] knows. Your state of mind is what you should be able to control. If you can't wake up And say, "Today I'm making some money." And actually try your very, very best, and actually [music] stay dedicated to that task. If you can't do that, Every man understands you shouldn't be complaining about things you cannot [music] change. You have to
play the cards you're dealt. To be born a certain height and then to sit there and go, "What do I do?" I'll tell you what you do. You become the best version of yourself, just [music] like everyone Else does. Nothing about the height is in and of itself enough value for me to be a valuable man. As a man, you build your value. You are born with the cards you're dealt. Sure, it'd be ideal. Look, I'd love to be 7-ft tall. I'm not. So, it's the same argument. If you're 5-ft 2, you need to become
rich, [music] strong, and funny, and charismatic, and interesting, and witty. If you're 6-ft 4, you need to become rich, strong, well-connected. It's the same game. So, To sit there and complain about it is asinine. All of you have a handful of [music] aces. I don't think you understand that. You could have been in a car crash at 4 years old and lost your legs. Do you have any understanding of how lucky you have been? This is pure luck. There's no There's only luck has kept you fully able-bodied, sitting there, capable of learning and listening, and
becoming something. You don't really need to be That tall if you're important and rich and witty. You walk in the room. You think when Mayweather walks in the room people give a [ __ ] Fix that frame in your mind. You are viewing yourself as a short man. Stop it. Walk up and be the man. You talk a lot about purpose, why [music] we are created as humans, and why we're here. Like, what is the purpose of life? Why have we been given life? >> I think we're here to struggle and to Learn. I don't
think we're here to be happy. That's why when [music] we keep going back to the happy argument, I've always found that kind of frustrating and annoying. Someone goes, "Oh, but I want to be happy." Why? Why? Like I Why do you want to sit there and laugh? Like Like you're You were happy your entire childhood. That's your happy days. You're allowed to be happy As a kid. It's all over now, right? You have You're a man. You have responsibilities. I think we're here to do important things, and important things are going to be difficult, and
they're going to be hard, and you're going to get frustrated. But that's what gives you purpose. I think we're here to struggle. I think we're [music] here to endure pain. I think we're here to just see how hard we are to kill. I think that [music] Going through terrible things and living through them and and coming out the other side is one of the most fantastic things about being human. Uh I think that it's it's almost like once you understand what life is really about, there's no emotion which isn't enjoyable. [music] The only emotional state
which can be seen as detrimental is feeling nothing at all. But if you're staying at home and [music] you're feeling truly heartbroken, at least You're feeling something, right? And And And I think that's the whole part of being human. I I think we're here to struggle. I think we're here to go through pain. I wake up each day and go, "What can I attack? What problem can [music] I solve?" And And it Look at history. Why did Genghis Khan wake up and want to conquer the whole world? Why did Napoleon conquer the world? Why did
Alexander the Great conquer the world? Just Just wake up and just say, "Give me This. Give me that. I want all of it." Yeah. There's an army there. They're really big. We're better. It's intrinsic. You need to go and conquer. That's That's the purpose of life. Do you believe that God created us? So, why did God create us to struggle? >> Because if you don't struggle, you don't learn. >> [music] >> God created us to learn and understand ourselves and understand other people And understand the world. And what did I say earlier? I said that
you don't learn a lesson without [music] pain. So, you have to struggle to learn anything. There's only two ways to learn things, the hard way or the harder way. If you're smart, you can learn the hard way. But in my experience, 99% [music] of the planet only learn the hardest possible way. If you want to feel happy inside of yourself, and you want to feel content, and you want to feel stable Inside of yourself, you [music] need to live true to God. And I'm not saying you can't drink a little bit of alcohol or not
party or not have a little bit of fun, but you have to be a good person. I don't believe in the societal [music] paradigms in which they have tried to construct this idea of happiness. I don't believe or subscribe to the way that happy and sad [music] is currently understood by the masses of the population. I think if you are Anything less than absolutely distraught, [music] you are happy. You're a version of happy. It's like saying gray is a version of black, right? No matter how light the gray is, you can still call it a
version of black. And unless you've gone through an event [music] which hopefully doesn't happen too often, like the passing of a family member or something that's truly Destructive and detrimental to your mindset. Besides these events which hopefully only happen [music] a few times in your life, you should be happy. If you're not crying or paralyzed in silence due to the absolute magnitude of a detrimental circumstance or the absolute magnitude of a negative event, then you are a version of happy. So, I am always happy is the short answer. I don't believe in not being happy.
I don't Believe in not saying [music] to myself I'm happy. I'm always a version of happy. And this chasing, this idea [music] of chasing happiness and always being concerned and preoccupied with how happy you are is actually the biggest [music] mistake that a lot of people make, I think, in the world today. Especially men who wake up and go, "Oh, I don't really feel happy, so I need to get happier." And that's how they end up down a hedonistic path of drugs or Alcohol or gambling, chasing pleasure. >> [music] >> I don't care how I
feel. I don't care if I feel happy or sad. It doesn't really affect what I do each day. I do [music] the exact same things. I act the exact same way. I don't care. I don't put weight to the significance of the emotion. >> [music] >> So, I always consider myself a happy person, but if I woke up and I was Slightly less happy one day than another, it wouldn't affect anything I do, and I wouldn't put any relevance to it. I'm human, and that's life. [music] So, yeah, am I any happier now that I
have hundreds of millions of dollars than before I was broke? Not [music] really, but I was never unhappy. I'm I'm I'm the same state that I was then that I am now. I have work to do, and I will do it. It's It's as simple as that. >> [music] >> Well, also there's no light without dark and there's no joy without pain. You can't have a rainbow without a little rain. >> [music] >> No matter how hard you chase pleasure and happiness, there's going to be dips and troughs in between. There's going to be come
downs and down trends. [music] And you're going to have the juxtaposition between that time you were laughing your head off and acting giddy Like a child and the time that you feel depressed as such. >> [music] >> And I think it's much better to just adopt a very disciplined, stoic mindset. I'm always the same base level of happy regardless. If I lost all of my money today, I would be the same happy. If my net worth quadrupled, I'd be the same happiness. But as long as I'm alive and the people I I care about and
love are alive and as long as I get as long as God gives me the honor of doing my duties and providing for the people I care about, >> [music] >> as long as I get to wake up and know that there's a whole bunch of people in the world who need me and I get to work hard to please them and do good for society and good for the world, then [music] then I'm I'm a vessel of God and I am happy. I'm happy enough to survive. That's That's all I look at it as.
I Don't ever consider how [music] do I feel? That doesn't cross my mind. I have things to do. I'm too busy. I I have things to do every single day. I have very important things to do and how I feel really is not going to affect how I complete those tasks. Motivation isn't real. Everyone says this. Motivation is not real. Discipline's real. >> [music] >> I do not feel like training, but I still train because I'm a disciplined Individual. You don't get to go through life only doing the things you feel like doing. [music] So
this is down to you, my friend. And listen, you may be feel fired up for 10 minutes after [music] this little talk, but you're not going to feel fired up forever. You need to put systems in place. You need to get disciplined. You need to get a atmosphere of people around you who are going to keep you accountable >> [music] >> and not make it easy for you to continue to be a nobody. And then you're going to fix your life. Otherwise, you're going to stay a nobody. You're tired. You don't want to work. You
want to go to sleep and just relax. You do it >> [music] >> [ __ ] anyway. That is the most basic imperative of the masculine frame, which has been destroyed in real time. >> [music] >> They are trying to convince you that you should act how you feel. You should show more of your feelings. If you feel this way, you should show [music] it. If you want to cry, cry. What I'm saying is the reason they're trying to bring out emotionality in you is because of exactly what Myron said. >> [music] >> Most of
the time you don't feel like doing the things you're supposed to do. But the true masculine frame throughout History was doing the things they didn't want to do, but they knew they had to do because they had honor and duty. That's what honor and duty means. Do you think the men on the Titanic wanted to stay on the [ __ ] Titanic? No. We're men. We have to [music] stay. We're scared, but we must. It's our duty to let the women and children on the lifeboats. This is masculine duty. A good man controls himself. I
have absolute self-control. [music] Emotional control is absolutely and utterly important as a man. I'm saying that you need to understand as a man there are [music] certain principles under which you act regardless of how you feel. I can wake up in a terrible mood. I can wake up sad. I can ache. >> [music] >> I can have a a busy day, stressed, etc. I will complete the same tasks [music] as if I woke up in a fantastic mood. I'll do the same things because how I Feel has no bearing on the things I'm going to
do in my day because I have duty to myself and to my bloodline. Cuz you think there's something wrong with you. You go, "Well, I don't I lack motivation. I don't have the motivation to go to the gym." Well, here's the newsflash, neither did I. And I still did it. So, now what are you going to say? Now you have no excuse, right? [music] Oh, you're scared to get in the ring? So Was I. I still did it. Scared to get in the cage? So was I. I still did it. Being a man isn't about
not feeling things. It's about acting the way you're supposed to act regardless of how you feel. We act. We're men of action. We get things [music] done. So, the world got built. All of it. All the men who built the [ __ ] skyscrapers felt scared, they did it anyway. You need to become a man of action. Stop worrying about how you Feel and start worrying about what you're supposed to be doing. [music] How about that? I've I've always been disciplined myself cuz I've always lived a disciplined life. I lived in a disciplined household. Like
there was no such thing as I don't want to. So even now if I wake up and I don't want to do something, >> [music] >> I don't need someone to tell me to do It, cuz I'll do it anyway. I mean, who wants to run a marathon? >> [music] >> Nobody. Who wants to do that? You just do it, don't you? Cuz you know it's it's the thing you're going to have to do. And you got to blood, sweat, tears. There is a version of the world where you can feel things >> [music] >>
and really not give a [ __ ] how you feel. Like I I can if I feel sad, It does not change how I act. And it does not change [music] the things I do. If I don't feel like going to the gym, I go to the gym. If I don't feel like working, I will still work. [music] If I wake up in a happy mood and I have a business to run, if I wake up in a sad mood, I have the same [ __ ] to do. >> [music] >> I'm going to get
it done. So, where's the importance of it? It's in my Mind is how I view it. Like, how does that affect what I'm going to do? Well, nothing. It doesn't. Motivation in in and of itself is a scam. I don't believe in motivation. I believe [music] in discipline. I am not motivated to do the things I'm supposed to do. I don't wake up full of like joy. I have to go to the gym or I have to work or I deal with crap. I don't feel motivated to do them. I'm disciplined. I do them regardless
of how I feel. Whether I'm in the mood to do it or I'm not in the mood to do it, it gets done. That's discipline. Discipline's a real thing. Motivation is fleeting. You're never going to be permanently motivated. You're the kind of person you can only try hard at something he enjoys, then you're going to fail. If you truly want to win, you can't only want to win when you're happy and you can't only want to win when you're motivated. [music] You're competing Against men like me who will perform even when there is raining, not
only when the sun is shining. If you're going to be the kind of person who can only do it in one of those scenarios, you are going to lose. You must be prepared to perform all of the time. I have a lot of people who message me and say, "Ah, I struggle with motivation." And my answer is simple, then stay a loser. If you can't find the motivation to not be a loser, then I strongly recommend you Just stay a loser, stay in your lane, [music] and stay out of my way. I have no time
for people who cannot find the the to fix themselves and fix their own lives. I've been the kind of person who will perform >> [music] >> 7 days a week. Doesn't matter how I feel, doesn't matter what's happened, doesn't matter if I'm happy or sad, things must be done. [music] This is the Mindset you need to adopt if you want to be a winner. I think a man should have absolutely no interest in whether [music] he's actually happy or not. If I wake up and I'm unhappy, I will do the exact same things as if
I am [music] happy. I will go to the gym the same, I will work the same. How I feel has no impact on how I live my life. I don't think happiness is an index is a healthy view for a man to have on life success. If you're waking Up and going, "Oh, am I happy? Am I not?" You're looking at life wrong. I think as as a man, if you put happiness far If you move it down the scale, >> [music] >> right? And you start looking at, "Am I successful? Am I competent?" You
know, am I achieving things? Am I respected? If you start to look at these indicators of your life, [music] you're going to end up being happier Without actually analyzing if you're happy or not. You have to just work. Some point, you have to bite the bullet and just work. Working harder is never going to not help. No matter what scenario you're in, working harder is never going to not help you. And it It's amazing that I get different versions of the same answer for 99% of the questions I'm asked. Work harder. [music] If you have
a problem, whether you're broke, whether you're out of shape, whether Your friend dies, whether your girl leaves you, whether you're depressed, whatever it is, working harder is almost always the answer. >> [music] >> So, you know what you need to do. You need to do it. And what's amazing again is kind of like the antidote. Though, if you take the antidote before the poison, then you never get sick in the first place. If you're always working as hard as possible, you're always working your Ass off and trying to be the best version of yourself every
single day, then >> [music] >> you never get sick in the first place. You're already working. You're already taking the antidote. So, things can't get can't attach to you. They can't get hold of you. Working hard is the antidote to everything. So, why don't you just do it in advance? Why don't you just your life just [music] become work Like mine? Why don't you just dedicate yourself to a cause and get up and do what you're supposed to do every single day? I can't stand quitters. >> [music] >> So, if you're going to be that
kind of person who's going to quit because it's hard, I don't even want your energy around me, >> [music] >> right? You need the people who don't Quit. I don't quit. Every single facet of my life is testament to the fact that I don't quit. >> [music] >> I didn't quit. So, that's the difference. When it was hard, I did it anyway. That's who I've always been. And if you don't have that kind of tenacity, you're never going to be anything. So, I'm indefatigable. [music] I do not give up. I do not get tired. I
do not quit. That's what they want. That's what the enemy wants from me. They want to try and [music] win a war of attrition. They want to wear me down and hope I quit and give up. I am not that guy. I'm not that guy. I'm the guy who keeps going. >> [music] >> And if you're truly indefatigable in life and perspicacious, that's my favorite saying, the one I say all the time, "Unmatched perspicacity coupled with Sheer indefatigability makes you a feared opponent in any realm of human endeavor." It's absolutely and utterly true. If you
pay attention to the things that are happening around you and you do not quit, you will be a dangerous opponent in any realm of human endeavor. It doesn't matter what you try and do. I'm a man who lives true to God and says what he means and means what he says, and I know the things I say are good for society and good for the world. I didn't Put a magic spell on anybody. The reason people listen to me is because they like what I say and they know that I'm telling the truth. >> [music]
>> That's the reason I'm here, and I'm going to continue to do that, and there's nothing anybody can do about it.
