control he's motivated by a strong moral conviction but a lot of people don't see it that way a lot of people believe the reason David hog became a gun control activist is because he saw it as an opportunity to launch his career a lot of people are put off by the fact that he thrust himself in front of every camera possible in the wake of a tragedy seemed less like he was trying to make a difference and more like he just wanted to make a name for himself there's all kinds of evidence to basically back
this claim up we've got this piece from the Miami Herald student reporter interviews classmates hiding from gunman in Florida high school David hog a senior and student reporter at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School recorded interviews with some of his class mates on February the 14th as they were hiding from an active shooter in the school hog told the son Centennial we've also got an old archived Reddit post where David hog wrote this I'm a 16-year-old that's always wanted to be a reporter on 60 Minutes since I was eight what do you think the major steps
are to get there he then goes into details about his ambition and this was written by the account Davis green 111 on r/ journalism and here's actual evidence to show that that account is his he posted a video which went viral at one point titled lifeguard goes on a massive Power Trip on 17-year-old and the kid's response is hilarious and in the comment section he confirms that he is in fact David hog it says David hog me I believe referring to himself in the video and so basically there's a picture painted of David hog where
he's obsessed with being on TV being a TV reporter soaking up all the sunlight you know I know he's very popular in the gun activism world but to the public I mean yeah not so much and we've seen the consequences of his unpopularity let's call it during a couple public embarrassing moments let's say like this one from the 2020 election where he asked the public on X or actually on Twitter back then would you be interested in seeing a video post every day from now until election day with my thoughts on what's going on the
