Did you know this about Gamerverse? Today, Glitch Productions released the trailer for their upcoming indie series, Gameoververse. Let's talk about it.
So, Gameoververse, made by Ross O'Donovan and Darren Hansen, is about the protagonist, Kit, and a few of her friends. They travel between game worlds on an adventure while trying to stop some evil villains. The pilot is coming out in May, so it's just a few months away.
The cast is fantastic. I'm going to talk about the voice actors more in depth in a separate video, but a few of my favorites are J Schlatt, Michael Kusack, and Erica Lindbeck. The humor, from what we've seen so far, is very internet-coded, so quite silly and goofy.
It's on par for Glitch. If you laugh watching their other shows, I think you'll like this one. Since it takes place between various video game worlds, it's got a wonderful 2D style with some 3D elements.
It's a bit like a fighting game. All the differing styles come together and the characters are so diverse. Personally, I think it looks awesome.
The premise looks interesting, and I think it'll fit in well with Glitch's portfolio. It doesn't appear to be as loreheavy as Gaslight District or Knights of Guy, which is a nice change of pace because sometimes those elements can be a turnoff for casual viewers. So, what do you think?
