All right. Hello everyone. This lecture is still under understanding the self.
Specifically continuation to ng lecture ko on the self according to anthropologists. As you can see here, this is part two. Ibig sabihin meron akong part one lecture dito.
Panoorin niyo na lang yon. No, before watching this, I highly recommend panoorin niyo yung part one. The reason why gumawa pa ako ng part two is because there are so many insights, there are so many information, there are so many realizations because of time constraints, hindi ko na naisama sa part one kasi masyadong hahaba iyung lecture.
But again, this valuable insight, sayang naman kung hindi maririnig, kung hindi maa-absorb. So I decided na gumawa ng part two on this lecture topic. Bible verse muna tayo which is so powerful in connection to this topic.
Everybody say powerful. Yan. It's a very powerful verse.
Isaiah 5:20 ang sabi, "Wow to those who call evil good and good evil. " Yung binabaliktad. Yung masama tinatawag mong mabuti.
Yung mabuti tinatawag mong masama. who turn darkness to light and light to darkness. Who replace bitter with sweet and sweet with bitter.
Later as I go along natin yan dito sa topic natin on the self according to anthropologist. The main question na gusto kong sagutin in this lecture is why toxic cultures that destroyed the self continue?
That's a very good question to ask and in this lecture, I'm gonna give the answers. Okay?
So, very quickly, review lang muna natin 'yung toxic cultures. Although I already discussed this in part one, uulitin ko na lang din dito. Toxicultures are normalized beliefs and actions that erode.
Everybody say erode. Sa tagalog, sinisira. Dito nanggaling yung word na erosion ' ba?
Nasisira yung quality of the self. So when a person internalizes or enculturates, everybody say enculturates.
Sinabi ko rin yan sa lecture one. Kapag na-inculturate mo yyung mga toxic cultures na iyan because it's toxic, ano ang negative effect sa sarili? It also makes your thinking toxic.
It makes your emotions toxic. It makes your actions toxic. At kapag araw-araw mong ginagawa yan, unti-unti nasisira ang sarili mo.
Some examples of toxic cultures would be the use of illegal drugs. Maraming mga kabataan kultura yan. Kahit saan pumunta, kahit anong mangyari, kahit sino kasama, magda-drugs.
Bakit? Kul na kasi nila yan. Or for example, getting drunk.
Yan.
So this behaviors are normalized. Many people are doing it but are considered toxic.
Unti-unti masisira yung sarili mo.
So that's the danger of enculturating or absorbing or practicing toxic cultures. And in the macro level, in the level of the society, kapag ang mga tao patuloy na nag-e-enculturate ng toxic cultures, the numbers that we will see will not look good. As you can see on the slide, hindi magagandang numbers to in terms of mental health.
As you can see the numbers here. Now, if you're going to ask me as a mental health person because I come from this field psychology, no, ano ba ang reason bakit nagiging ganyan yung mga numbers in connection to our lecture right now?
I would have to point to evil cultures or toxic cultures. And everyday unti-unti silang sinisira.
That explain why we see these numbers. Kaya naalala ko yung sinabi ni Solomon about toxic cultures no. Sabi niya, "There is a way that seems right.
" Everybody say seems right. Mukhang tama kasi isang milyon yung gumagawa kasi usong-uso naman. Halos lahat naman ng kakilala ko ginagawa yan.
Kula eh. Normalized. Pero sabi ni Solomon, may mga ganyang ways na kahit maraming gumagawa, ano pala, in the end is the way of death.
Yan yung bad news. Hindi pork maraming gumagawa. Hindi porka tatlong milyon yung gumagawa, it makes it right.
Guess what? 3 million people who are doing this toxic culture are on their way to the death of themselves. Nage-gets niyo?
Ian dapat iyung tandaan natin about culture. It doesn't mean that if many people are doing it, then it's a safe culture. Because many cultures, although many people are doing it, are considered toxic cultures and it is destroying, it is killing the self.
everyday. In fact, follow up lang.
Kinuwento ko to sa mga students ko in the classroom, no? I asked Chat GPT to give me a list of toxic cultures at ito yyung binigay sa akin ng chat GPT. In fairness, majority ng mga cultures that you can see here are considered indeed toxic.
Unti-unti mong gawin to. Lagi mong gawin to sa buhay mo. Most likely it's going to destroy yourself.
And what do we call that process? We call that cultural enabling.
Lalabas sa exam iyan. Everybody is a cultural enabling the process wherein the toxicultures are being normalized are being obliged to are being encouraged that many people should do. Yan ang tawag diyan cultural enabling.
Now based on this list in fairness meron namang mga toxic cultures na klarong-klarong masama klarong-klarong toxic. So hindi hindi ito kinu-culturally enable. Although may mangilan-ngilan lumulusot pa rin.
Mayro'on pa ring mga cultures ngayon eh ine-enable pa rin 'yung honor killings. Ine-enable pa rin 'yung female genital mutilation. Ine-enable pa rin 'yung child sacrifice.
Pero konti na lang 'yun. But what really breaks my heart as an educator is meron tayong mga toxic cultures that are so obviously wrong but it is highly promoted tapos nire-repackage sasabihin hindi mali yan.
And based on this list, I would have to say that's numbers one and three. Lalo na sa Filipino culture very normalized.
Kino-culturally enable yung greed/materialism and sexual promiscuity. In my previous lecture in part one, marami akong mga examples na binigay, different examples how numbers one and three are being normalized. Paano kinu-culturally enable 'yung numbers 1 and three.
So panoorin niyo na lang 'yung part one of my lecture. Okay? So again, baka nalimutan niyo na the main question I'm answering in this lecture, why toxic cultures that destroyed the self continue?
Okay. So ang sagot diyan to answer this question, here's the framework that I want to present. The reason why many toxic cultures are immune to change, immune to correction, immune to repentance kasi merong humaharang, merong nagshi-shield sa mga toxic cultures na iyan.
Actually before I continue, gusto ko lang din i-refhrase yung toxic culture. Another synonym for toxic culture or bad culture would be the seven deadly scenes.
It's good. O kaya popularize pa yung seven deadly scenes.
So going back, bakit itong seven deadly scenes na to also known as toxicultures, immune sa change, correction, and repentance, ito iyung mga dapat nangyayari. These are good processes.
And what are those things that shield bad cultures/ toxic cultures/ seven deadly sin culture? Mga ideas din, mga toxic ideas din.
This toxic ideas really stop the process of bad cultures being changed, being corrected, people repenting from these seven deadly sins, and the following are these ideas. na ako sa tingin ko dapat din nating i-consider na toxic. Toxic yung idea na respect my opinion.
Toxic yung idea don't judge. Toxic yung idea ng inclusivity and diversity. So to summarize, here's the slide that I'm talking about.
Kaya hindi magbago-bago yyung toxic cultures kasi because of these ideas. This make toxic cultures immune to change. Yan.
Again, ulitin ko, respect my opinion.
Don't judge others. Inclusivity and diversity. Now, let me just clarify something here.
No, the reason why I say that these are toxic ideas, in fairness, meron namang truth behind this ideas. Don't get me wrong ha. Hindi ako totally against sa respecting opinion.
Hindi ako totally against sa judging others. Hindi ako totally against sa inclusivity and diversity. But the reason why I consider these ideas toxic, it's because they are being used in the wrong context.
Kaya sabi ko dito, tinu-twist. Everybody say twist. Tinu-twist yung truth of this ideas to mean what they don't mean.
Nage-gets niyo? Mali yung application, mali yung definition ng mga ideas na to at ginagawa yan to promote toxic cultures. So as I go along, I hope I'm going to make more sense.
Unahin natin yyung respect my opinion. Okay. In today's culture, ang ibig sabihin ng respect, my opinion is whatever I believe is just as valid as yours.
Yun yung ibig sabihin natin ng respect in today's culture.
Walang may mali. Pareho tayong tama. Kaya sabi ko dito, all ideas are true.
Why? Because we are respecting each other's opinion. So in that standard, when I say 2 + 2 is equ 5 and you say the 2 + 2 is equ 4, sinong tama?
Sinong mali? Ang sagot, walang may mali. Pareho tayong tama.
Right?
Bakit? Kasi ire-respect mo yung opinion ko. That's how the word respect is being used today.
Another example, if I say the color of these words is blue, kulay blue.
Bakit? Because we are respecting each other.
Both of our ideas, both of our claims are true. One last example.
If I say okay lang mag-lock ka sa relationship tapos disagree ka sa akin, sasabihin mo hindi okay mag-lock ka sa relationship. Dapat honest ka. You should practice fidelity.
So pareho tayong tama. Even if we believe opposing things for the sake of respecting each other. That's the way our modern culture uses the word respect at ginagawa nila yan para magpatuloy ang mga toxic cultures.
Now, why is this wrong? Kaya sinasabi kong toxic idea to for two reasons.
Number one, kasi opinion is not equals to reality. Hindi porket opinyon mo yung isang bagay, ibig sabihin tama na yung opinyon mo. Your opinion does not does not prove the reality of something.
Sabi nga ng isang author, everyone is entitled to his own opinion but not his own facts.
Sabi ko nga dito sa slide, many things are right or wrong regardless if you agree or not. Let me remind everyone ha baka may iba hindi na naniniwala diyan. Akala nila simply because opinyon mo yung isang bagay, ibig sabihin automatic tama.
Because people should just respect you. Mali. Pwedeng ang isang bagay opinyon mo at yung opinyon mo mali.
Kasi yung opinyon mo it's not in line with the facts. For instance, sabihin mo bilog ang mundo.
O whether or not maniwala ka diyan totoo 'yan.
Tatanggapin ko na hindi nagta-traffic sa EDSA because the fact is and we have data on this na madalas traffic sa EDSA. Or another example, if I say tao ako or lalaki ako, hindi nagma-matter yung opinyon mo kung naniniwala ka ba sa akin or hindi na tao ako or lalaki ako.
Whether or not agree ka na tao ako or lalaki ako, it still remains na tao ako slash lalaki ako. Ganyan dapat ang tamang um pananaw natin in terms of making opinions in connection to certain facts.
Does that make sense? So again, bakit mali yung ganyang usage ng word na respect? Because opinion is not equals to reality.
Number two, the reason why this is wrong because respect doesn't mean acceptance. Hindi porkit sinabi mong irresespeto mo ako o sinabi kong irespeto mo ako, ibig sabihin obligado kang i-consider akong tama. Because if you review the meaning of the word respect, mayr'n tayong word analysis ngayon 'no?
The word respect came from two words. Ung is re. Ibig sabihin again, spec means to look from the word spectator ' ba.
So pag sinabi mong again look or look again, it means if I say I respect you, I am going to everybody read reconsider what you are telling me. That's a very important word. Reconsider.
To respect means to reconsider.
I'm going to reconsider.
At the end of the day, meron pa ring tama, meron pa ring mali. Okay. I think one good example of this no is when when we talk about entrance exams.
Nag-entrance exam ka sa isang university and then hindi ka nakapasok. Ang status mo is um rejected. In some universities they allow reconsideration ' ba.
Magpapadala ka ng letter of reconsideration. Now the reason why you're doing that is because you don't agree na rejected ka.
Please reconsider my application. So yung universidad naman because they respect you, anong gagawin nila? They are going to look again at your exams course.
They are going to look again at your papers na sinubmit mo.
Am I making sense? Ganon ang tamang usage ng salitang respect which is our culture today.
Tinwist, binabago for the sake of protecting the toxic cultures. Number two, another toxic idea na nagpapakalat no nagpapa-sustain sa toxic cultures don't judge others. In our culture, anong ibig sabihin niyan sasabihin sayo you have no right to say or to call someone out as wrong.
Wala kang karapatan para sabihing mali yung ibang tao. Huwag mo silang i-judge. And what's the basis?
Aba, maraming philosopo. Ang basis nila for believing this is biblical. ba sabi sa Bible Matthew 7:1, "Do not judge so that you will not be judged.
" Now, for those of you who think that way, baka kasi kinondition kayo ng society to also think that way. Unang-una, there's a problem in the way you interpret God's word. Because if you interpret Matthew 7:1 that way, you are taking the passage out of context.
Hindi mo kasi binasa yung buong konteksto nung passage. Hanggang doon ka lang sa chapter 7 verse 1. Eh mahaba yan eh.
After 7 verse 1, ang dami pang sinabi na kapag binasa mo yung buo, you will realize it's not about us not judging others. In fact, the fact is sabi ko dito the word fact. The fact is when you read the entire passage, the Bible is teaching us to judge only in the right way.
Basahin natin yung buo.
I-zoom in natin. Do not judge or you two will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, I highlighted those words.
Way you judge others. So this passage is about the way you judge. It's not a matter of whether you will judge or not.
Lahat tayo expected to judge pero dapat aayusin mo yung way of judging others and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Tuloy mo dito sa verse 3. Why do you look at the speck of sodas in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
How can you say to your brother, "Let me take the speck out of your eye when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? " Now, verse 5 is really powerful. Everybody focus you hypocrite.
Jesus said first take the plank out of your own eye and then I want to emphasize that. And then you will see clearly to remove the spec from your brother's eye. Ibig sabihin it's not a matter of don't judge.
Dapat meron ka munang gagawin before you judge. And that is what you first judge yourself. Ayusin mo muna yung sarili mo.
I-judge mo muna yung sarili mo. And after you do that, that's the time that you can be more influential in judging others. Then you will see clearly to remove the spec from your brother's eye.
And if you think about it, it makes a lot of sense. bago mo sila sabihan na ihintunan nila yung paninigarilyo nila, let's say ikaw to talagang nagilty ka sa pinaggagawa mo sa katawan mo, natauhan ka, gusto mo ng ihinto yung paninigarilyo nila, anong gagawin mo? Ikaw mismo huminto muna 'di ba?
Kasi isipin mo kung hindi mo ginawa yan, sinabihan mo muna silang ihto yung paninigarilyo nila eh ikaw mismo naninigarilyo. Hindi mo muna tinanggal yung plank in your own eye. What Jesus was talking about?
The plank in your own eye here is your culture na hindi mo nga binabago. Mali.
Baguhin mo muna yung sarili mo. Tanggalin mo muna yung plank in your own eye so that you will see clearly to linisin to improve the spec of error in people's lives. Pwede bang mag-judge o hindi?
Pwede. But there's a right way. Ano dapat ang way of judging?
We first judge ourselves first, then we judge other people. So hindi totoo that we are not allowed to judge. We are even called.
We are even we are even encouraged to judge everyday. We are encouraged to identify what's good and what's evil. We are we are encouraged we actually hindi nga encourage.
We are commanded. We are commanded to absorb the good and resist evil. Ba is another good passage to to discuss ' ba.
Para magawa mo ong passage na to. How do you teach? Sabi dito, kailangan magturo ka.
Dapat mag-reproof ka. Dapat um mag-correct ka. Dapat mag-training ka.
For you to do numbers 1 to four, it requires judgment. Right?
Para makapag correction ka, dapat ang judgment mo, someone is needed to be corrected.
You will not be able to do numbers 1 to four kung hindi ka magju-judge. Yun iyung point. After all, we're talking about judgment, no?
Justice is universal. Lahat naman tayo gusto ng justice. It's a universal value.
Dapat ma-judge mo that something is not fair para ma-sustain mo yung fairness. Kaya nga sa mga courts all over the world, sino ang isa sa mga agents na talagang nagme-make sure that justice will be served? Anong tawag sa trabaho nila?
They are called the judges. They have to judge. Right?
Because by judging that's the only way that we can we can sustain justice.
Hindi bawal mag-judge. After all, para sa mga matitigas ang ulo diyan na talagang pinaninindigan nila that we should not judge. Pag ikaw isang taong sinasabing sinasabi mong we should not judge, isn't that a judgment in itself?
Sabi ko nga dito, telling people not to judge others is judging those who judge others. na may right. Bakit po sinasabing do not judge others?
Ibig sabihin by saying that jina-judge mo na yung mga taong nagju-judge ng iba na masamang tao sila. Kaya mo nga sila pinapatigil eh. Huwag kayong mag-judge ng iba.
Let's not judge others. That's a judgment in itself. You are assuming that those people who judge others are people who are not doing something good.
Which is a form of judgment in itself. It's self-defeing to say not to judge others. I hope I'm making sense.
And last one, the third toxic idea na tumutulong sa pagkalat ng ng toxic culture is the very popular inclusivity and diversity. Now, for the sake of clarity, i-define muna natin yyung inclusivity. Ang sabi dito, ano ang inclusivity?
This is the process of ensuring that all individuals feel valued and integrated, emphasizing active engagement and equal access to opportunity. And I totally agree. Tama yyung definition ng inclusivity na to.
Now, just to further clarify this, anong application ng inclusivity let's say in a university setting? Ganito dapat ang nangyayari kapag ina-apply yung inclusivity, no? Lahat pwedeng mag-entrance exam.
Everybody say lahat yan lahat. Walang pinipili. Everyone is included.
Kahit ano pang background mo, pwede kang mag-entrance exam.
Included ka if you want. Pagpasok mo sa isang school, merong student handbook na nag-a-apply that protects the rights of students. Sino?
Kaninong rights dapat pinoprotektahan or kaninong rights or kaninong estudyante dapat naga-apply? Yung laman nung handbook, anong sagot? Sa inclusivity, lahat.
Everyone is included. The handbook protects everyone in the university. Inclusivity 'yun.
Oh, letter C. Humane treatment regardless. Ibig sabihin, kahit ano pang background mo, kahit ano pang group membership mo, dapat meron kang humane treatment inside the university.
Walang mananakot sa'yo. Walang physically na mananakit sa'yo. Walang aabuso sa'yo.
Walang magte-threaten sa'yo. Ang tawag nga nila diyan, safe space. Everybody is included in the idea of safe space.
Tama yun.
Everyone is included in the process of voting.
Kasi kasama 'yan sa students right ' ba? So kahit ano pang college mo, College of Liberal Arts, College of Business, College of Engineering, kahit ano pang college mo basta estudyante ka, included ka to be to participate in voting for student leaders. Nage-gets niyo?
Yan ang ibig sabihin ng inclusivity. Labas tayo ng university setting. Paano ang ang application ng inclusivity?
The gospel is one of the most inclusive things that I know. Jesus is the most inclusive being that I know. 'Di ba?
How do I know this?
Everyone is included. Doon pa nga lang sa great commission eh the operative word here is all nations. Anong tinuro ni Kristo?
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations. Lahat deserving na makarinig ng gospel. Lahat dapat ma-disciplan all nations.
Hindi tayo namimili ng nations. 'Di ba? For God so love the world.
the most popular verse in the Bible that he gave his only begotten son that whoever that's the operative word whoever everybody say whoever whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Those are very inclusive statements. The gospel is for everyone.
Salvation is for everyone who wants. Everyone is included. Yan ang inclusivity.
Yan ang tamang definition ng inclusivity. Wala kang sini-single out na tao from experiencing something that is good. E yung diversity, anong ibig sabihin niyan?
Allowing the presence of difference within a group. That's a good definition of diversity. And I want to highlight on those words.
Allowing presence. Which means ang application ng diversity is sharing space. Everybody say sharing space.
Paano mo malalaman na okay yung pag-apply ng diversity kapag yung mga tao in the civilized manner they share space with each other. Hindi sila nagpapatay. Hindi sila nagbibigayan ng threats.
Hindi nila sinasaktan yung isa at isa. They are sharing space. Maybe they don't agree with each other.
Maybe they don't like each other. But they are sharing space in a civilized way. Nage-gets niyo?
So ang application nito in the university setting, paano ina-apply yung diversity?
What happens? You share space. Kahit magkakaiba kayo ng faith in the university, yung iba Christian, may Buddhist, may Muslim, merong atheist, you still share space.
Diversity yan.
Doesn't matter. You still share space. Ian ang ibig sabihin ng diversity.
And again in the Bible diversity is being is being done. Especially good example si Jesus. Jesus is applying diversity in his ministry.
For instance he shared space to many types of people or should I say with. Jesus shared space with many types of people. He shared space with children.
He shared space with an adulterer. He shared space with tax collectors also known as rubbers.
Regardless of what we believe in, regardless of our status, we are all open to share space with each other. Yan ang ibig sabihin ng inclusivity and diversity. In summary, let's bring all good things to all people.
Yung bring all good things that's inclusivity to all people that's diversity. na-gets niyo which by the way no sabi ko nga dito sa slide dito which involves rejecting evil I want to emphasize on that if we want to bring all good things to all people inaapply natin yung inclusivity and diversity in the process of doing that automatic it goes without saying dapat nire-reject mo yung evil ayaw natin yung mga bad things i-apply ng mga tao. Parang parenting lang iyan ' ba?
Sa parenting, how do you preserve the integrity of the child? Ganun din. You teach the child to absorb the good and reject the bad.
Dapat may sense of differentiation ka. I-absorb mo yung tama, iwasan mo yung mali.
To preserve the child. So inclusivity and diversity should have that angle na ang inclusivity and diversity nagaapply lang yan for good things. The same thing, the same analogy with the body's immune system.
Ba is being preserved because our body is very selective.
Kaya 'yung immune system natin nagiging maayos kasi chuy natin from no magaling yung body natin in differentiating what's good from what is bad. Nage-gets niyo yun ang tamang definition ng inclusivity and diversity. Bringing all good things to all people.
Now, ito naman yung abused version ng inclusivity and diversity. And I think this is what's so popular in our culture today. Ang sinasabi nilang definition ng inclusivity and and diversity is this.
All ideas from all people should be accepted, validated and tolerated. And many young people today believe na tama ito. Many young people today will upload, papalakpak, mag-amen in this statement which is clearly a wrong statement.
All ideas from all people should be accepted, validated, tolerated. Hindi dapat ganon. Bawal mag-reject.
Lahat tama. Let's just agree to disagree. That's the abused version of inclusivity and diversity.
Huwag na nating ihinto yung war between Ukraine and Russia. After all, desisyon nila yan eh.
Being in the government position.
Sana naman most of the things that I've said in connection to this images hindi kayo agree.
Itong mga behaviors na to klarongklarong mali. Hindi to tama. Hindi to dapat in-tolerate.
Hindi ito dapat sine-celebrate. Am I making sense? But then again, that's how our modern culture today is using inclusivity and diversity.
Hindi ka pwedeng mag-correct. Hindi ka pwedeng mag-reject. Lahat ng ideas na marinig mo valid.
I-accept mo, i-celebrate mo, i-validate mo, i-tolerate mo. I don't think this is helpful for the society. I would even say this is harmful for our society.
It is harmful for the self. Kaya nagtutuloy-tuloy ang mga toxic cultures. Kaya hindi napapalitan eh.
Kaya hindi nach-change. Bakit?
Meaning their immune system is not differentiating what's good from what's bad. For this bodies, everything is good. Walang dapat labanan.
Lahat ng virus, lahat ng bacteria kakampi. It's not good for the body. In the psychological level, it's not good for the soul na ganyan yung attitude natin.
Allr kaya lang yan nga yung nangyayari as you can see in the image, that's the reason why bad cultures persist. Tuloy-tuloy ang bad culture everyday. Bakit?
May shield na matitibay. Respect me, don't judge. Inclusivity and diversity.
twisted yung mga definitions and people believe it. So napoprotektahan yung bad culture. Ano nga yung nangyayari everyday?
Tuloy-tuloy ang cultural enabling of bad culture. Many people especially young people are internalizing this bad culture. Kaya anong nangyayari?
Unti-unti or ang dami-dami everyday selv are being destroyed. And you know, if you go to God's word, again, sabi ko nga God's word is so powerful, meron daw consequence when people believe that God is good, which is happening everyday. The bad is being reinterpreted, being repackaged as good.
That's the cultural norm. Meron palang masamang consequence iyan when you believe that bad is good or good is bad.
W to those who call evil good and good evil. Who turn darkness to light and light to darkness who replace bitter with sweet and sweet with bitter. What's the operative word here?
The word woe. Kapag 'yung mga bad things ginagawa mong mabuti, ginagawa mong culture mo, anong nangyayari sa self? Nagkakaroon ka ng WO.
And if you check the dictionary, anong ibig sabihin ng WO? It means great sorrow or distress. Could it be that this is the reason why mababa yung wellbeing mo?
Bakit mababa yung level ng happiness mo? Parang hindi ka masaya. Lagi kang anxious.
Lagi kang nagwo-worry. Parang feeling mo you are you are destroyed. You are not happy with yourself.
Could it be? This is the answer. Because you have enculturated bad cultures and you think it's good.
If that's you, making bad culture as good, considering good culture as bad, binabalibaliktad mo, nagkakaroon ka ng wo sa buhay mo. And many people today are in wo their mental health is in woe.
That's why you see this numbers. That's why you see this numbers. Many young teenagers today are in woe.
Grabe yyung mga psychological struggles nila. 13 years old pa lang, 14 years old, 15 years old, buntis na. Many people today na nagkakaroon ng mga ganyang disease are in wo it affects your everyday wellbeing.
And the reason why are we seeing this news? Why are we seeing these numbers? Because again it's the cultural norm today that good is being considered evil and evil is being considered good.
Yan yung masama. Kaya going back if you're gna ask me no walang solusyon dito eh. This is already so powerful.
This is the system. This is the world order. Pasama ng pasama yung mundo na talagang this one will persist.
The bad culture will persist. Bad culture will be considered good and the gold culture as as as time goes along will be considered evil. This is so powerful na hindi mo kayang labanan mag-isa yan.
It's already the world order. Kaya ang fearless forecast ko, kung tatanungin niyo ako, ano kaya mangyayari in the future? Darating ba 'yung panahon na mag-i-improve ito?
That finally people will realize that bad culture is indeed bad? Hindi. As time goes by, my fearless forecast is people will not change.
It will get worse because the attempt of the supernatural powers to consider bad culture as good will continue will be stronger as our time nears the end. Sinabi yan ba sa 2 Timothy that the bad will be the new good. In the last days, there will be very difficult times.
Bakit? If you read this parts, people will be will people will love only themselves and money. They will be boasted and proud or they will be boastful and proud.
They will scoff at God. They will be disobedient to their parents. Isa-isahin mong basahin yan.
What do you notice? Slowly this is becoming the norm. Yan na yung uso.
Yan na yung popular. And many people today they don't find this things to be wrong kasi namanhid na e. sa sobrang dami ng gumagawa ang naging effect na there's nothing wrong with this.
In fact, these are the right things to do because there are many people who do this things. Kaya iyan ang fearless forecast ko. As we near the end of age, it will just get worse.
Bad culture will be considered good. Bad is a new good.
Ang solution it's more on the people. Ano yung pwede nating gawin para makatulong expose this process to people who don't know? O kasi kaya namang itong mga taong to ini-internalize itong bad culture.
The reason why they become victims of cultural enabling is because they don't know that these are bad cultures in the first place appearing to be good, marketed as good. So anong gagawin natin? I-inform natin yyung mga tao of this process.
This time we also shield the self. Kung yung toxic culture may shield, yung respect me, yung don't judge, yung inclusivity and diversity, i-shield din natin yung mga sarili natin. I-shield natin yung mga tao sa paligid natin by making them realize three things.
Number one, that there are things in life that are right and wrong. Totoong may right and wrong. Number two, i-absorb nila yung right, isuka nila yung wrong.
And number three, wrong are being made right. Ipakita natin 'yung ung mga examples na 'yan na 'yung may mga bagay sa mundo na klarong-klarong mali pero ang kultura ginagawa nilang tama for the purpose of destroying the self. And this is a very dangerous thing that can happen to anyone.
Napaniwalaan mong tama ang isang mali. Paniwalaan mong mali ang isang tama. Am I making sense?
If only you can find one person na talagang ito maituturo mo sa kanya to numbers 1, two and 3. Malaking tulong na yan. Na-save mo na siya.
Naligtas mo na siya from internalizing and culturating toxic culture. And one of the ways to do this, I cannot say this talagang enough, that's the importance of having a spiritual community. If you want to do this, you want to educate people on the dangers of toxic culture.
You have to do it within the spiritual community para may katulong ka. Para meron ka ring mechanism, meron ka ring resources to reach out as many people as you can and teach them this truths. Hindi mo kakayanin mag-isa yan.
O kaya kung wala ka pang spiritual community, maghanap ka ng spiritual community para magsasama-sama kayo to talk about the truth and teach people about the truth so that this people na matuturuan niyo hindi sila mabibiktima ng mga toxic cultures. All right? So again at the end of the day what's the world order today?
What's the popular culture today? That bad is the new good. But we don't have to fall victims kasi nga meron tayong pwedeng shield na ilalagay sa self natin.
This is not true. Right? We can still expose what's right and what's wrong.
Show people that the wrong things are being repackaged as bad things. Oh, sorry. being repackaged as good things.
The more we make people realize that this things are happening, marami tayong maliligtas na mga tao from the dangers of toxic cultures. And how do we do that? Yun na nga, using God's word.
Because God's word is the ultimate reality, no? Klarong-klaro anong tama at anong mali, God's word will really expose to us. save us from the dangers of toxic culture.
God bless everyone.
I'll see you soon.
