have you ever watched a tight RPP Walker balancing with Precision holding your breath as they take each step high above the ground it is not the tight RPP itself that keeps them steady but the Unseen training the countless hours of preparation and the balance they have learned to trust in life my friends we walk a similar tight RPP we Face challenges that could cause us to stumble fears that could paralyze us and temptations that threaten to pull us down yet we have a God who ensures that we are not abandoned to our Falls he upholds
us with a strength that is beyond our comprehension and guides us when the way is uncertain today I want to speak to you about the God who keeps you from falling this is not about mere survival it is is about thriving under his care and Assurance I'm also going to pray a powerful prayer with you in the mighty name of Jesus so watch until the end and open your hearts to receive the blessings of this prayer the word of God declares in Jude verse 24 that he is able to keep us from stumbling and present
us faultless before his glory with exceeding Joy This Promise isn't just poetic but profoundly personal let us uncover the depth of his keeping power explore the ways he preserves us and show how his faithfulness surrounds us even when we are unaware we will explore this truth and discover the God who keeps us steady when life seems unsteady first let's focus on the Firm Foundation of God's key keeping power my friends the foundation of a building determines how strong and enduring it can be if the ground beneath it shifts the entire structure is at risk similarly
the foundation of Our Lives must be secure if we are to stand firm in a world that constantly challenges our stability when we trust in God we are anchored to a foundation that will never fail us Psalm 121: 3- 4 reminds us that he will not allow our foot to be moved he who keeps us does not Slumber this verse speaks of God's unwavering vigilance and his unending commitment to our stability the story of mephibosheth Jonathan's son offers a profound illustration of God's keeping power power mephibosheth was lame in both feet and by human standards
his future seemed Bleak but God's covenant through King David ensured that mephibosheth was brought to the king's table not because of anything he could do but because of God's faithfulness this story reminds us that our weaknesses or shortcomings do not disqualify us from God's care there and to be clear this is not referring to presumptuous sin where one knowingly and willfully disobeys God expecting his grace to cover deliberate wrongdoing as James 4:17 warns to him who knows to do good and does not do it to him it is sin and such actions carry serious consequences
es Instead This highlights God's compassion toward those who humbly depend on him despite their genuine struggles or limitations his promises are steadfast and his power to keep us surpasses our circumstances it is not uncommon for us to feel overwhelmed by the weight of life we might stumble in our faith question our strength or face trials that seem seem overwhelming but Proverbs 3: 5-6 teaches us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our understanding in all our ways we are to acknowledge Him and He will direct our paths this Divine
Direction ensures that even when we cannot see the way ahead God guides our steps and keeps us from falling the Apostle Paul knew this truth deeply in second Corinthians 12:9 Paul recalls how the Lord told him my grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in weakness Paul's Journey was marked by challenges yet he found that God's power was most evident in his moments of greatest need it is not our ability to remain strong that keeps us it is God's power working Within us that secures us when life feels unstable we may
be tempted to rely on our own strength but human strength is limited and often falters Under Pressure God's word assures us that he is our refuge and strength a very present help and trouble as seen in Psalm 46 verse 1 he does not merely Stand By and observe our struggles he actively interv V holding us steady and providing the support we need this Foundation of God's keeping power is not merely about survival it is about thriving under his care his keeping power is like the roots of a mighty tree anchoring us firmly even as the
Winds of Life try to uproot us these roots are nourished by his promises watered by his word and sustained by his Spirit Isaiah 41: 10 reminds us fear not for I am with you be not dismayed for I am your God I will strengthen you yes I will help you I will uphold you with my righteous right hand this assurance gives us the courage to face life's uncertainties with confidence throughout scripture we see examples of God upholding his people when Peter walked on water toward Jesus he began to sink when his Focus shifted to the
storm but in that moment Jesus reached out his hand and caught him saying oh you of little faith why did you doubt Peter's experience shows us that even when our faith wavers God's hand is always ready to catch us and set us back on Solid Ground my friends God's keeping power is not a passive promise but an active reality he equips us with the tools we need to stand firm such as his word which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path as declared in Psalm 119 verse 105 this light ensures
that we are not walking blindly but are Guided by his truth every step of the way it is easy to look at our circumstances and feel as though we are walking alone but the Bible reminds us that God never leaves us nor forsakes us even in our darkest moments he is there ensuring that we are upheld by his mercy and Grace Lamentations 3: 22-23 declare that through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed because his compassions fail not they are new every morning great is your faithfulness this Foundation of faith is what allows us to
face life with hope and Assurance it gives us the strength to endure trials the courage to overcome obstacles and the peace to rest in God's promises when we build our lives on this Foundation we are like the wise man who built his house on the rock the rain R came the floods Rose and the winds blew but his house did not fall because it was founded on the rock my friends as we reflect on God's keeping power let us be reminded that he is the Solid Ground beneath our feet his promises are sure his love
is unchanging and his strength is sufficient for every challenge we face let us now turn our attention to how God protects Us in ways that often go unseen and unrecognized my friends life is filled with unseen battles we move through our days unaware of the countless dangers that could harm us physically emotionally or spiritually yet God's protective hand Shields Us in ways we often do not perceive Psalm 91 veres 11 to2 declares he shall give his angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways in their hands they shall bear you up lest
you dash your foot against a stone this assurance reveals that God's protection is not passive but actively working to keep us safe consider the story of Elisha and his servant in Second Kings 6: 15-7 17 when the servant saw the Syrian Army surrounding the city he was terrified but Elisha prayed Lord open his eyes that he may see suddenly the servant's eyes were opened and he saw the mountain full of horses and Chariots of Fire all around Elisha this Vivid account reminds us that God's protection is often invisible to human eyes but it is always
present and overwhelmingly powerful my friends how often do we fret over situations that seem beyond our control not realizing that God has already dispatched his help his angels stand guard his Spirit strengthens us and his word guides us away from from unseen pitfalls we may never know the accidents illnesses or attacks that he has averted in his Mercy but we can trust that his protection is constant and reliable Proverbs 18:10 tells us that the name of the Lord is a strong tower the righteous run to it and are safe this imagery of a strong tower
reminds us that God God's protection is both accessible and unshakable sometimes his protection comes in the form of a closed door we may feel frustrated when opportunities slip through our fingers or when plants fail but what if those disappointments are actually Divine detours God may be shielding us from relationships decisions or paths that would lead to harm Romans 8: 28 assures us that all things work together for good to those who love God to those who are called according to his purpose even when we cannot see the full picture we can trust that his hand
is at work orchestrating our protection in the natural world animals often rely on camouflage for safety a bird May blend into the forest or a fish may become indistinguishable from the ocean floor God In His Infinite Wisdom sometimes hides Us in plain sight to protect us from danger Psalm 32:7 says you are my Hiding Place you shall preserve me from trouble you shall surround me with songs of Deliverance this Divine hiding is not about running away in fear but about being shielded from unnecessary harm while God fights on our behalf even when we do face
adversity his protection is evident in Acts 27: 22 to 24 Paul was on a ship caught in a violent storm the situation seemed hopeless but an angel of God stood by Paul and assured him that no lives would be lost only the ship true to God's promise every passenger survived the wreck this shows that God's protection does not always mean the absence of hardship but the Assurance of his presence and deliverance through it there are times when we wonder why God allows certain challenges if his protection is so powerful we must remember that his ways
are higher than our ways and his thoughts are higher than our thoughts as Isaiah 55: 8 to9 remind us sometimes the storms we Face refine our faith strengthen our character or position us for greater blessings even then his protection never leaves us and his grace is always sufficient our enemy the devil prows around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour as first Peter 5:8 warns but God has equipped us with Spiritual armor to stand against these attacks Ephesians 6 verses [Music] 11-13 instructs us to put on the whole armor of God that we
may be able to withstand in the evil day this armor is not a passive gift but an active tool for our protection and victory God's protection is not limited to the physical and spiritual Realms it extends to our minds and hearts Philippians 4:7 tells us that the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and Minds through through Christ Jesus in a world filled with anxiety this piece is a powerful Shield that keeps us grounded in his promises my dear friends his protection is always timely and perfectly suited to our needs just
as a Shepherd knows how to protect his sheep from wolves God knows how to safeguard us from the unique challenges and threats we face when we feel exposed or vulnerable we must remember that his rod and staff are always present to comfort and protect us as Psalm 23 verse 4 reminds us God's hidden Shields are a testament to his love and care though we may not always understand his methods we can rest in the assurance that he is always working for our good his protection surrounds us his angel uphold us and his Spirit guides us
through every trial let us now turn our attention to how God's faithfulness not only protects us but empowers us to stand strong in every season of life my friends when a structure is tested by wind and storms its strength is revealed by how well it stands in the same way life's trials expose the strength of our foundation and the faithfulness of the one who sustains us God's faithfulness does not simply Keep Us Safe it empowers us to rise endure and thrive in every season Lamentations 3: 22-23 tells us that through the Lord's mercies we are
not consumed because his compassions fail not they are new every morning great is your faithfulness this unchanging faithfulness becomes our source of strength when all else seems uncertain consider the life of Hagar the servant of Sarah who found herself abandoned in the wilderness with her son she felt unseen unheard and forgotten yet God revealed himself to her as Elroy the God who sees in Genesis 21: 17 to 19 God not only reassured her but provided a well of water to sustain her and her son this act of faithfulness teaches us that even when we feel
forsaken God is present and provides exactly what we need to stand strong my friends it is easy to feel overwhelmed when life's challenges press against us but God's faithfulness equips us to endure and overcome Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength they shall Mount up with wings like eagles they shall run and not be weary they shall walk and not faint this strength is not found in our own efforts but is the result of relying on his sustaining power there are moments when standing strong means enduring through
pain Paul and Silas experienced this in Acts 16: 25- 26 when they were beaten and imprisoned despite their suffering they sang hymns and prayed trusting in God's faithfulness in response a great earthquake shook the prison and their chains were loosed this powerful example shows us that when we stand firm in worship and Faith God's faithfulness moves on our behalf sometimes standing strong means holding on when the answers do not come immediately in John 11: 40 Jesus tells Martha did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God
Martha and Mary faced the loss of their brother Lazarus yet in God's perfect timing his faithfulness was revealed as Jesus called Lazarus out of the Tomb this reminds us that delays are not denials God's faithfulness is always working even when and we cannot see it faithfulness is not just what God does it is who he is 2 Timothy 2:13 declares if we are faithless he remains faithful he cannot deny himself his character is steadfast and his promises are unchanging this truth allows us to stand firm knowing that his faithfulness is not dependent on our perfection
but on his divine nature when we stand in his faithfulness we also stand in his victory 1 Corinthians 15:57 declares thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ this Victory is not just a future hope but a present reality it empowers us to overcome sin resist temptation and walk in the Abundant Life he has promised us standing strong also means being a testimony to others in Matthew 5 verse 16 Jesus calls us to let our light so shine before men that they may see our good works and glorify Our
Father in heaven when we stand firm in faith others are drawn to the source of our strength our Our Lives become a reflection of God's faithfulness pointing others to his goodness and Grace in times of weakness we may feel unworthy to stand but Ephesians 2:8 reminds us that by Grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God this Grace lifts us when we fall strengthens us when we are weary and restores us when we are broken my dear friends God's faithfulness is the reason that we can
stand he surrounds us with his love fills us with his peace and strengthens us with his Spirit when life presses against us we do not stand in our own power but in the faithfulness of the one who never fails God's faithfulness is the anchor that keeps us steady The Shield that protects us and the strength that empowers us to rise above every challenge as we trust in the one who keeps us from falling we can walk forward with confidence knowing that his promises are sure and his love will never fail now to all those within
