[Music] a long time ago in a small town called Nazareth there was a young woman named Mary she was engaged to a man named Joseph who was a carpenter they both came from Humble backgrounds and led simple lives one day while Mary was going about her daily tasks an angel named Gabriel appeared to her Gabriel had an incredible message from God he told Mary That she was chosen to be the mother of a special baby who would be called Jesus this baby would be the Son of God and would save people from their sins Mary
was surprised and a bit scared she wondered how this could happen since she wasn't married yet Gabriel reassured her saying that the Holy Spirit would come upon her and the power of God would make it possible Mary being a faithful and humble woman trusted God and said I am the Lord's servant may your word to me Be fulfilled not long after Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth who was also expecting a miraculous baby Elizabeth's baby would grow up to be John the Baptist the one who would prepare the way for Jesus when Mary greeted Elizabeth Elizabeth's
baby leaped in her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit she exclaimed that Mary was blessed among women and that her child was blessed too Mary stayed with Elizabeth for about 3 months helping her and sharing in the joy of their miraculous pregnancies before returning home meanwhile Joseph found out that Mary was pregnant he was confused and troubled because they were not yet married in their culture this could lead to severe punishment for Mary he loved her and didn't want to disgrace her publicly so he thought about quietly ending their engagement but then
an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream the Angel told him not to be afraid to take Mary as his wife because the baby she was carrying was conceived by the Holy Spirit the angel said the baby would be named Jesus which means the Lord saves because he would save his people from their sins Joseph woke up and did what the angel told him he took Mary as his wife but did not consummate their marriage until after Jesus was born around this time the Roman Emperor Augustus ordered A census to be taken throughout the Roman
Empire everyone had to go to their ancestral town to register because Joseph was a descendant of King David he had to go to Bethlehem the town of David Mary went with him even though she was very close to giving birth the journey to Bethlehem was long and hard covering about 70 Mi over rough and hilly terrain Mary and Joseph traveled on foot and by Donkey facing the cold nights and hot days when they Finally arrived the town was crowded with people who had also come to register for the census Joseph tried to find a place
for them to stay but every Inn was full at last they found shelter in a stable a place where animals were kept despite the humble surroundings Joseph did his best to make Mary comfortable that night Mary gave birth to her firstborn son she wrapped him in cloths and laid him in a Manger a feeding trough for Animals because there Was no room for them anywhere else despite the humble circumstances this was a moment of great joy and wonder the birth of Jesus fulfilled ancient prophecies and marked the arrival of the Savior nearby some Shepherds were
in the fields keeping watch over their flocks Shepherds were often seen as lowly and unimportant but but God chose to share this good news with them first suddenly an angel of the Lord Appeared to them and the glory of the Lord Shone around them the Shepherds were terrified but the angel said to them do not be afraid I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people today in the town of David a savior has been born to you he is the Messiah the Lord this will be a sign to you
you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a Manger then a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel Praising God and saying glory to God in the highest heaven and on Earth peace to those on whom his favor rests when the Angels had left them and gone into heaven the Shepherds said to one another let let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened which the Lord has told us about so they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph and the baby who was lying in the manger
when they had seen him they spread the word about what they had been Told about this child and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherd said to them Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart heart the Shepherds returned glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen which were just as they had been told after Jesus was born in Bethlehem Mary and Joseph stayed there for a while when Jesus was 8 days old they took him to be circumcised according to Jewish Law they
named him Jesus the name the angel had given him before he was conceed received a few weeks later when it was time for Mary's purification according to the law of Moses they took Jesus to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord this was a common practice for firstborn sons while they were there they met a man named Simeon Simeon was a righteous and devout man who had been waiting for the Messiah the one who would bring Salvation to Israel the Holy Spirit had revealed to him that he would not die before he had seen the
Lord's Messiah moved by the spirit Simeon went to the temple courts when Mary and Joseph brought Jesus to fulfill the customs of the law Simeon took him in his arms and praised God he said Sovereign Lord as you have promised you may now dismiss your servant in peace for my eyes have seen your salvation which you have prepared in the sight of All Nations a light for Revelation to the Gentiles and the glory of your People Israel Mary and Joseph marveled at what was said about Jesus then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary this
child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel and to be a sign that will be spoken against so that the thoughts of many heart Hearts will be revealed and a sword will pierce your own soul too there was also a prophet Named Anna the daughter of penuel of the tribe of Asher she was very old and had lived with her husband 7 years after her marriage and then was a widow until she was 84 she never left the temple but worshiped night and day fasting and praying coming up to them
at that very moment moment she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the Redemption of Jerusalem after they had done everything Required by the law of the Lord Mary and Joseph returned to their hometown of Nazareth in Galilee Jesus grew up there and he became strong filled with wisdom and the grace of God was on him when Jesus was around 2 years old some wise men from the East also known as Mai came to Jerusalem they had seen a star in the sky that they believed signaled
the birth of a new king of the Jews they went to King Herod and asked where is The one who has been born King of the Jews we saw his star when it Rose and have come to worship Him Herod was disturbed by this news as he felt threatened by the idea of a new king he called together the chief priests and teachers of the law and asked them where the Messiah was to be born they told him in Bethlehem in Judea referring to a prophecy from the scriptures Herod secretly met with the Mari and
found out the exact time the star had appeared he Sent them to Bethlehem and said go and search carefully for the child as soon as you find him report to me so that I too may go and worship him but Herod had no intention of worshiping Jesus he wanted to kill him the Magi followed the star until it stopped over the place where Jesus was they were overjoyed and went into the house they saw the child with his mother Mary and they bowed down and worshiped him they opened their treasures and presented him With gifts
of gold frankincense and myrrh these were valuable gifts Fit For A King after being warned in a dream not to go back to Herod the Magi returned to their country by another root when they had gone an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream the angel said get up take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt stay there until I tell you for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him so Joseph got up took the child and his mother during the Night and left for Egypt where
they stayed until the death of Herod this fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophets out of Egypt I called my son when Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi he was Furious he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were 2 years old and under in accordance with the time he had learned from the mai this fulfilled what was spoken through the Prophet Jeremiah a voice is heard in Rama weeping and great mourning Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted because they
are no more after Herod died an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt and said get up take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel for those who are trying to take the child's life are dead so Joseph got up took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel but when he heard that aralas was reigning in Judea in place of his father Herod he was afraid to go there having been warned in a dream he withdrew to the district of Galilee
and went to live in a town called Nazareth so was fulfilled what was said through the prophets that he would be called a Nazarene Jesus grew up in Nazareth learning from his parents and the local synagogue he lived a humble and obedient life gaining wisdom and favor with God And people when when Jesus was 12 years old he went with his parents to Jerusalem for the Feast of the Passover as was their custom after the feast was over while his parents were returning home the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem but they were unaware of
it thinking he was in their company they traveled on for a day then they began looking for him among their relatives and friends when They did not find him him they went back to Jerusalem to look for him after 3 days they found him in the temple courts sitting among the teachers listening to them and asking them questions everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers when his parents saw him they were astonished his mother said to him son why have you treated us like this your father and I have been
anxiously searching for you why why were you searching for me he Asked did you not know I had to be in my father's house but they did not understand what he was saying to them then he went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them his mother treasured all these things in her heart and Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man years passed and Jesus grew into adulthood living a quiet life in Nazareth meanwhile his relative John Known as John the Baptist had a unique Mission John was
a prophet and he lived a simple and rugged life in the desert he wore clothes made of camel's hair with a leather belt around his waist and he ate locusts and Wild Honey John's mission was to prepare the way for the coming of the Messiah Jesus Jesus he preached a message of repentance urging people to turn away from their sins and be baptized as a sign of their repentance John's powerful preaching Attracted large crowds from Jerusalem and the surrounding regions people came to him at the Jordan River confessed their sins and were baptized by him
in the river John was clear that his role was to prepare the way for someone greater than himself he said I baptize you with water for repentance but after me comes one who is more powerful than I whose sandals I am not worthy to carry he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and Fire one day as John was baptizing people in the Jordan River Jesus Came From Galilee to be baptized by John John was initially hesitant recognizing that Jesus was the one he had been speaking about he said I need to be baptized by
you and do you come to me but Jesus insisted saying let it be so now it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness so John agreed and baptized Jesus as soon as Jesus was baptized he came up out of the water at That moment heaven was opened and the spirit of God descended like a dove and a lighted on him and a voice from Heaven said this is my son whom I love with him I am well pleased this event marked the beginning of Jesus's public Ministry after his baptism Jesus was
led by the spirit Into the Wilderness to be tempted by the devil he spent 40 days and 40 nights fasting and praying preparing for the mission ahead During this time the devil came to Jesus and tried to tempt him in three significant ways first he said if you are the Son of God tell these stones to become bread Jesus replied it is written man shall not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest
point of of the temple if you are the Son of God he said throw yourself down for it is written he will command his Angels concerning you and they will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone Jesus answered him it is also written do not put the Lord your God to the test finally the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their Splendor all this I will give you he said if you will Bow Down
and Worship me Jesus said to him away from me Satan for It is written Worship the Lord your God and serve him only then the devil left him and Angels Came and attended him Jesus had successfully resisted the temptation remaining faithful to God and his mission with the Temptations behind him Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the spirit news about him spread through the whole Countryside he began teaching in their synagogues and everyone praised him as Jesus traveled And taught he began calling his first disciples he met Simon who is also called Peter
and his brother Andrew who were fishermen Jesus said to them come follow me and I will send you out to fish for people at once they left their Nets and followed him he continued to call others like James and John the sons of Zebedee who were also fishermen they too left their boat and their father and followed Jesus these men became his close Companions and would later be known as the apostles Jesus's Ministry was marked by powerful teaching miraculous healings and profound acts of compassion crowds followed him wherever he went eager to hear his words
and witness his miracles one of Jesus's first public acts was in the town of kanah in Galilee he attended a wedding with his mother Mary and his Disciples during the celebration the hosts ran out out of wine which was a significant social embarrassment at the time Mary told Jesus about the situation hinting that he could help Jesus responded woman why do you involve me my hour has not yet come despite this Mary told the servants to do whatever Jesus instructed Jesus asked the servants to fill six large Stone jars with water these jars were used
for ceremonial washing and each could hold 20 to 30 Gallons after they filled the jars Jesus told them to draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet when the master tasted the water that had been turned into wine he was amazed he called the bridegroom aside and said everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink but you have saved the best till now this miracle turning water into wine was the first sign that Jesus performed Revealing his glory and
causing his disciples to believe in him even more after this Jesus went to capernium with his mother brothers and disciples they stayed there for a few days before traveling to Jerusalem for the Passover Festival in Jerusalem Jesus went to the temp Temple courts and saw people selling cattle sheep and doves and others sitting at tables exchanging money he was angered by how they had Turned the temple a place of worship into a Market Place Jesus made a whip out of cords and drove all the animals and money changers out of the temple he overturned their
tables and said get these out of here stop turning my father's house into a market the Jewish leaders demanded a sign to prove his authority to do all this Jesus answered destroy this Temple and I will raise it again in 3 days they were confused thinking he meant the Physical Temple which had taken 46 years to build but Jesus was speaking about the Temple of his body hinting at his future death and Resurrection during the Passover Festival many people saw the signs Jesus was performing and believed in his name but Jesus knew what was in
each person's heart and did not entrust himself to them fully one night a Pharisee named Nicodemus a member of the Jewish ruling Council came to Jesus he acknowledged That Jesus was a teacher who had come from God as no one could perform the signs Jesus was doing if God were not with him Jesus told Nicodemus that no one could see the kingdom of God unless they were born again Nicodemus was puzzled asking how an adult could be born a second time Jesus explained that he was talking about a spiritual rebirth being born of water and
the spirit Jesus continued just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness so the son of Man must be lifted up that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life after this Jesus and his disciples traveled through Judea where he continued teaching and baptizing people John the Baptist was also baptizing nearby and some of his followers were concerned that people were starting to Go to Jesus instead John reassured
them saying he must become greater I must become less the one who comes from above is above all Jesus decided to return to Galilee and had to pass through Samaria he stopped at a well near the town of sikar where he met a Samaritan woman JW and Samaritans typically did not associate with each other so the woman was surprised when Jesus asked her for a drink Jesus told her about the Living Water he could provide which would quench her thirst forever they talked about her life and Jesus revealed that he knew she had had five
husbands and was now living with a man who was not her husband the woman realized that Jesus was a prophet and spoke about the coming Messiah Jesus revealed to her that he was the Messiah the woman was so amazed that she went back to the town and told everyone About Jesus many Samaritans believed in him because of her testimony and Jesus stayed there for 2 days teaching them back in Galilee Jesus continued performing Miracles and teaching with authority in Capernaum a royal official came to Jesus who whose son was close to death the official begged
Jesus to come and heal his son Jesus told him go your son will live the man believed Jesus and returned home finding his son healed at The exact moment Jesus had said he would live as Jesus Fame spread large crowds followed him he taught in synagogues preached the good news of the kingdom and healed every disease and sickness among the people his compassion for the crowds was evident as he saw them as sheep without a Shepherd one day seeing the crowds Jesus went up on a mountain side and sat down his disciples came to him
and he began to teach them this sermon known as The Sermon on the Mount contained some of Jesus most profound and challenging teachings he started with Beatitudes a series of blessings that describe the characteristics and rewards of those who follow God's way blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted blessed are the meek for they will inherit the Earth blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they will be filled filled blessed are the merciful for they will be
shown Mercy blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called children of God blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness for theirs is the Kingdom Of Heaven blessed are you when people in insult you persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me rejoice and be glad because great is your reward in heaven for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you Jesus continued by teaching about the importance of being a positive influence in
the world he used metaphors saying you are the salt of the earth but if the salt loses its salty How can it be made salty again it is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot and you are the light of the world a town built on a hill cannot be hidden neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl instead they put it on its stand and it gives light to everyone in the house in the same way let your light shine before others that they may
see your good deeds and glorify your father in Heaven Jesus then spoke about the law and the prophets emphasizing that he did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it he challenged his listeners to live righteously even beyond the strict interpretations of the law that the phes and teachers of the law adhered to he said for I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law you will certainly not enter the Kingdom of Heaven throughout the sermon Jesus provided new insights into familiar teachings deepening their
meaning and application he spoke about anger saying you have heard that it was said to the people long ago you shall not murder and anyone who Mur will be subject to judgment but I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment again anyone who says to a brother or sister raqqa is answerable to The court and anyone who says you fool will be in danger of the fire of hell he also addressed issues of adultery and divorce urging his followers to maintain Purity and faithfulness he said
you have heard that it was said You shall not commit adultery but I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart Jesus continued with teachings on Oaths retaliation and love for enemies he Encouraged his followers to let their yes be yes and their no be no to turn the other cheek when wronged and to love their enemies and pray for those who persecuted them you have heard that it was said love your neighbor and hate your enemy but I tell you love your enemies and
pray for those who persecute you that you may be children of your father in Heaven he also spoke about giving to the needy prayer and fasting Jesus taught that these acts Should be done in secret not for show when it came to prayer he gave them the law 's prayer as a model Our Father in heaven Hallowed Be Your Name Your Kingdom Come your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven give us today our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors and lead us not into
temptation but Deliver Us from the evil one Jesus emphasized the importance of forgiving others saying that if they Forgave others their heavenly father would also forgive them he also addressed issues of wealth and worry urging his listeners to store up Treasures in Heaven rather than on Earth where moths and rust destroy and thieves break in and steal for where your treasure is there your heart will be also he encouraged them not to worry about their lives what they would eat or drink or about their bodies and what they would wear instead They should seek first
the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things would be given to them as well in his teachings Jesus urged people to avoid judging others reminding them that the measure they used to judge would be used against them he encouraged them to ask seek and knock promising that everyone who asked would receive everyone who sought would find and to everyone who knocked the door would be opened towards the end of The Sermon on The Mount Jesus presented the Golden Rule so in everything do to others what you would have them do to you
for this sums up the law and the prophets he spoke about the narrow and wide Gates encouraging people to enter through the narrow gate that leads to life rather than the wide gate that leads to destruction Jesus concluded his sermon with a parable about two Builders he said that anyone who heard his words and Put them into practice was like a wise man who built his house on the rock the rain came down the streams Rose and the winds blew and beat against that house yet it did not fall because it had its foundation on
the Rock but anyone who heard his words and did not put them into to practice was like a foolish man who built his house on Sand the rain came down the streams Rose and the winds blew and beat against that house and it fell with a great crash when Jesus had Finished saying these things the crowds were amazed at his teaching because he taught as one who had Authority and not as their teachers of the law as Jesus traveled from town to town his reputation as a Healer and Miracle Worker spread far and wide people
brought the sick the lame the Blind and those possessed by demons to him and Jesus healed them all with compassion and Authority one day Jesus was teaching in A house in capernium and the place was so crowded that there was no room left not even outside the door four men came carrying a paralyzed man on a map they couldn't get through the crowd so they made a bold decision they went up on the roof made an opening by digging through it and then lowered the paralyzed man down to Jesus when Jesus saw their faith he
said to the paralyzed man son your sins are forgiven this shocked some of the Teachers of the law who were present they thought to themselves why does this fellow talk like that he's blaspheming who can forgive sins but God Alone knowing their thoughts Jesus said why are you thinking these things which is easier to say to this paralyzed man your sins are forgiven or to say get up take your mat and walk but I want you to know that the son of man has Authority on Earth to forgive sins so he said to the man
I tell tell you get up take your Mat and go home the man got up took his mat and walked out in full view of the mall this amazed everyone and they praised God saying we have never seen anything like this another significant miracle happened in the town of Na as Jesus approached the Town Gate he saw a funeral procession the only son of a widow had died and a large crowd from the town was with her when the Lord saw her his heart went out to her and he Said don't cry then he went
up and touched the beer they were carrying him on and the bearers Stood Still he said young man I say to you get up the dead man sat up and began to talk and Jesus gave him back to his mother they were all filled with awe and praised God saying a great prophet has appeared Among Us God has come to help his people Jesus also performed Miracles over nature one evening after a long day of teaching he and his disciples got Into a boat to cross to the other side of the Sea of Galilee Jesus
exhausted fell asleep in the stern suddenly a furious storm came up and the waves broke over the boat so that it was nearly swamped the disciples were terrified and woke Jesus saying teacher don't you care if we drown Jesus got up rebuked the wind and said to the waves quiet be still then the wind died down and it was completely calm he said to his disciples Why are you so afraid do you still have no faith they were terrified and asked each other who is this even the wind and the wav obey him in addition
to Miracles Jesus often taught in Parables simple memorable stories with deep spiritual meanings these Parables were designed to reveal truths about God's kingdom to those who were open to understanding while concealing them from those who were not receptive one of the most well-known Parables is the parable of The SE Jesus told the story of a farmer who went out to sew seed as he scattered the seed some fell along the path and the birds came and ate it up some fell on Rocky places where it did not have much soil it sprang up quickly because
the soil was shallow but when the sun came up the plants were scorched and they withered because they had no root other seed fell among Thorns which grew up and choked the plants still other seed fell on good soil Where It produced A crop 100 60 or 30 times what was sown Jesus explained the parable to his disciples saying that the seed represents the word of God the different types of soil represent the different ways people respond to the word the seed along the path represents those who hear the message but do not understand it
and the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their hearts the seed on Rocky places represents those who hear the word and receive it with joy But since they have no root they last only a short time when trouble or persecution comes because of the word they quickly Fall Away the seed among Thorns represents those who hear the word but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it making it unfruitful but the seed on good soil represents those who hear the word and understand it who produce a fruitful
crop another profound Parable is the Parable of the Good Samaritan a man was traveling from Jerusalem to Jericho when he was attacked by robbers they stripped him of his clothes beat him and went away leaving him half dead a priest happened to be going down the same road and when he saw saw the man he passed by on the other side so too a levite when he came to the place and saw him passed by on the other side but a Samaritan as he traveled came where the man was and when he saw him he
Took pity on him he went to him and bandaged his wounds pouring on oil and wine then he put the man on his own donkey brought him to an inn and took care of him the next day he took out two dinari and gave them to the inkeeper look after him he said and when I return I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have Jesus asked which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of Robbers the expert in the law replied the one
who had mercy on him Jesus told him go and do likewise another significant path Parable is the parable of the prodigal son a man had two sons the younger one said to his father father give me my share of the estate so the father divided his property between them not long after that the younger son got together all he had set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in Wild living after he had spent Everything there was a severe famine in that whole country and he began to be in need so he
went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country who sent him to his fields to feed pigs he longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating but no one gave him anything when he came to his senses he said how many of my father's hired servants have food to spare and here I am starving to death I will set out and go back back to my father and say to him Father I have sinned against heaven and against you I am no longer worthy to be called your son
make me like one of your hired servants so he got up and went to his father but while he was still a long way off his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him he ran to his son threw his arms around him and kissed him the son said to him father I have sinned against heaven and against you I am no longer worthy to be called your Son but the father said to his servants quick bring the best robe and put it on him put a ring on his finger and sandals on
his feet bring the fattened Cal and kill it let's have a feast and celebrate for this son of mine was dead and is alive again he was lost and is found so they began to celebrate meanwhile the older son was in the field when he came near the house he heard music and dancing so he called one of the servants and asked him what was Going on your brother has come he replied and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound the older brother became angry and refused to
go in so his father went out and pleaded with with him but he answered his father look all these years I've been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends but when this Son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home you kill the fattened Cal for him my son the father said you are always with me and everything I have is yours but we had to celebrate and be glad because this brother of yours was dead
and is alive again he was lost and is found through these Parables Jesus taught about God's love mercy and the values of the Kingdom of Heaven his Miracles demonstrated his Divine Authority and compassion while his Parables provided deep insights into how we should live and treat others as Jesus's Ministry continued he began to reveal more about his divine nature and his mission to his closest disciples one of the most significant events in this Revelation was the Transfiguration about a week after Jesus had discussed his upcoming suffering and death with his disciples he took Peter James
and John with him up a high mountain as they were praying something extraordinary happened Jesus's appearance changed his face Shone like the sun and his clothes became as white as the light suddenly two men appeared talking with Jesus Moses and Elijah representing the law and the prophets Peter overwhelmed by The Experience said to Jesus Lord it is good for us to be here if you wish I will put up three shelters one for you one for Moses and One for Elijah while he was still speaking a bright Cloud covered them and a voice from the
cloud said this is my son whom I love with him I am well pleased listen to him when the disciples heard this they fell face down to the ground terrified but Jesus came and touched them get up he said don't be afraid when they looked up they saw no one except Jesus as they were coming down the mountain Jesus instructed them don't Tell anyone what you have seen until the son of man has been raised from the dead the disciples asked him why then do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first
Jesus replied to be sure Elijah comes and will restore all things but I tell you Elijah has already already come and they did not recognize him but have done to him everything they wished in the same way the son of man is going to suffer at their hands then the disciples understood that he was talking To them about John the Baptist after the Transfiguration Jesus and his disciples returned to the crowds a man approached Jesus and knelt before him saying Lord have mercy on my son he has seizures and is suffering greatly he often falls
into the fire or into the water I brought him to your disciples but they could not heal him you unbelieving and perverse generation Jesus replied how long shall I stay with you how long shall I put up with you bring the boy here to me Jesus Rebuked the demon and it came out of the boy and he was healed at that moment then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked why couldn't we drive it out he replied because you have so little faith truly I tell you if you have faith as small as
a mustard seed you can say to this mountain move from here to there and it will move nothing will be impossible for you Jesus continued to teach his disciples about humility and greatness in in the Kingdom Of Heaven he called a little child to him and placed the child among them and he said truly I tell you unless you change and become like little children you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven therefore whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven and whoever welcomes one such child in
my name welcomes me if anyone causes one of these little ones those who believe in me to Stumble it would be better for them to have a large Millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble such things must come but woe to the person through whom they come Jesus also shared the parable of the lost sheep to illustrate God's love and and care for each individual he said what do you think if a man owns a
100 sheep and one of them Wanders away will he not leave the 99 on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off and if he finds it truly I tell you he is happier about that one sheep than about the 99 that did not wander off in the same way your father in Heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish Jesus taught extensively about forgiveness and Reconciliation Peter came to Jesus and asked Lord how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister whose sins Against me up
to seven times Jesus answered I tell you not seven times but 77 times therefore the Kingdom of Heaven is like a King who wanted to settle accounts with his servants as he began the settlement a man who owed him 10,000 bags of gold was brought to him since he was not able to pay the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt at this the servant fell on his Knees before him please be patient with me he begged and I will pay back
everything the servant's master took pity on him canceled the debt and let him go but when that servant went out he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a 100 silver coins he grabbed him and began to choke him pay back what you owe me he demanded his fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him please be patient with me and I will pay it back But he refused instead he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt when the other servants saw what had happened
they were outraged and went and told their Master everything that had happened then the master called the servant in you Wicked servant he said I canel all that debt of yours because you begged me to shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you in Anger his master handed Him over to the jailers to be tortured until he should pay back all he owed this is how my heavenly father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart the teachings and miracles of Jesus
contined to reveal the nature of God's kingdom and the expectations for his followers through the Transfiguration his profound teachings on faith humility and forgiveness and Parables like that of the lost sheep Jesus provided deep insights into the love and grace of God and how his disciples should live and treat others as Jesus ministry continued he knew that his time was drawing near to fulfill his mission he set out resolutely for Jerusalem even though he knew that suffering and death awaited him there along the way he continued to to teach heal and spread the message of
God's kingdom one of the significant events During this journey was the raising of Lazarus Jesus had a close friendship with Lazarus and his sisters Mary and Martha who lived in Bethany near Jerusalem one day Jesus received a message that Lazarus was very sick although he loved Lazarus Jesus stayed where he was for two more days before going to Bethany he told his disciples that this sickness would not end in death but would be for God's glory when Jesus arrived in Bethany Lazarus had Already been in the Tomb for 4 days Martha went out to meet
Jesus and said Lord if you had been here my brother would not have died but I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask Jesus said to her your brother will rise again Martha answered I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day Jesus said to her I am the resurrection and the life the one who believes in me will live even though they die and whoever Lives by believing in me will never die do you believe this Yes Lord she replied I believe believe that you are the
Messiah the Son of God who is to come into the world Martha went to call her sister Mary when Mary reached the place where Jesus was she fell at his feet and said Lord if you had been here my brother would not have died when Jesus saw her weeping and the other mourners with her he was deeply moved in spirit and Troubled where have you laid him he asked come and see Lord they replied Jesus wept then Jesus still deeply moved came to the tomb it was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance
take away the stone he said but lord said Martha by this time there is a bad odor for he has been there 4 days then Jesus said did I not tell you that if you believe you will see the glory of God so they took away the stone then Jesus looked up and said father I thank you that you have heard me I knew that you always hear me but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here that they may believe that you sent me when he had said this Jesus called in
a loud voice Lazarus come out the dead man came out his hands and feet w wrapped with strips of linen and a cloth around his face Jesus said to them take off the grave clothes and let him Go this miraculous event caused many who witnessed it to believe in Jesus however it also alarmed the religious leaders the chief priests and Pharisees called a meeting of the Sanhedrin worried that if Jesus continued to perform such signs everyone would believe in him and the Romans would come and take away their place and Nation from that day on
they plotted to take his life as Jesus continued his journey to Jerusalem he passed through Jericho there he encountered a man named zakus a chief tax collector who was wealthy but despised by his fellow Jews zakus was curious about Jesus and wanted to see him being a short man he climbed a sycamore fig tree to get a better view as Jesus was passing by when Jesus reached the spot he looked up and said zakus come down immediately I must stay at your house today zachus came down at once and welcomed him gladly all the people
saw this and began to mutter he Has gone to be the guest of a sinner but zakus stood up and said to the Lord look Lord here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor and if I have cheated anybody out of anything I will pay back four times the amount Jesus said to him today salvation has come to this house because this man too is a son of Abraham for the son of man came to seek and to save the Lost nearing Jerusalem Jesus stopped in Bethany where he was honored with
a Dinner in his honor at the home of Simon the leper while Jesus was reclining at the table Mary the sister of Lazarus took a pint of pure nard an expensive perfume and poured it on jesus' feet wiping them with her hair the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume one of his disciples Judas es scariot who was later to betray him objected why wasn't this perfume sold and the money given to the poor it was worth a Year's wages he did not say this because he Cared about the poor but because he
was a thief as Keeper of the money bag he used to help himself to what was put into it leave her alone Jesus replied it was intended that she should save this perfume for the day of my burial you will always have the poor among you but you will not always have me the next day Jesus made his triumphal entry into Jerusalem as he approached the city he sent two of his disciples ahead saying Go to the Village ahead of you and at once you will find a donkey tied there with her coat by her
untie them and bring them to me if anyone says anything to you say that the Lord needs them and he will send them right away this took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet say to daughter Zion see your king comes to you Gentle and riding on a donkey and on a Colt the fo of a donkey the disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them they brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on a very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road
while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road the crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted hosana to the son of David blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord hosana in the highest heaven when Jesus entered Jerusalem the whole city was stirred and Asked who is this the crowds answered this is Jesus the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee Jesus went into the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there he overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches
of those selling doves it is written he said to them my house will be called a House of Prayer but you are making it a den of robbers the Blind and the lame came to Him at the temple and he healed them but when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple courts hosana to the son of David they were indignant do you hear what these children are saying they asked him yes yes replied Jesus have you never read from the lips
of children and infants you Lord have called forth your praise as the week continued Jesus spent His days teaching in the temple and his nights on the Mount of Olives the tension between him and the religious leaders grew and they sought a way to arrest him secretly and kill him Jesus continued to prepare his disciples for his impending death and Resurrection teaching them about the importance of Faith humility and love he warned them about the coming trials and tribulations but assured them of his ultimate Victory and the coming of God's Kingdom as the Passover Festival
approached Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the father he continued to teach teach and perform Miracles even as the religious leaders plotted against him one of his disciples Judas es scariot secretly agreed to betray Jesus to the chief priests for 30 pieces of silver on the first day of the Festival of unleavened bread when it was customary to sacrifice the Passover Lamb Jesus sent two of his disciples Peter and John ahead to prepare the Passover meal he instructed them to follow A man carrying a jar
of water into the city this man would lead them to a house where they could prepare the meal that evening Jesus and his 12 disciples gathered in the upper room of the house for the Passover meal known as The Last Supper as they were eating Jesus Took bread gave thanks broke it and gave it to his disciples saying take And and eat this is my body then he took a cup of wine gave thanks and offered it to them saying drink from it all of you this is my blood of the Covenant which is poured
out for many for the Forgiveness of sins I tell you I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my father's Kingdom during the meal Jesus also washed his disciples feet demonstrating his humility and servanthood he said to them You call me teacher and Lord and rightly so for that is what I am now that I your lord and teacher have washed your feet you also should wash one another's feet I have set you an example that you should do as
I have done for you as they were reclining at the table Jesus became troubled in spirit and said very truly I tell you one of you is going to betray me the disciples were shocked and began To question who among them would do such a thing Jesus indicated that it was Judas by dipping a piece of bread in the dish and giving it to him saying what you are about to do do quickly Judas then left the room to carry out his betrayal after Judas had gone Jesus continued to teach his remaining disciples giving them
a new commandment love one another as I have loved you so you must love one another By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another Jesus also spoke of his imminent departure and promised that the Holy Spirit The Advocate would come to guide and comfort them he saido not let your hearts be troubled you believe in God believe also in me my father's house has many rooms if that were not so would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you and if I
go and prepare a place for You I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am after singing A Hymn Jesus and his disciples went out to the Mount of Olives there Jesus predicted Peter's denial saying this very night before the rooster crows you will disown me three times Peter declared even if I have to die with you I will never disown you and all the other disciples said the same Jesus then went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane he said to them sit here
while I go over there and pray he took Peter James and John with him and began to be sorrowful and troubled he said to them my soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death stay here and keep watch with me going a little farther Jesus fell with his face to the ground and prayed my father if it is possible may this cup be taken from me yet not as I I will but as you will he returned to his disciples and Found them sleeping couldn't you keep watch with me for one hour he
asked Peter Watch and Pray so that you will not fall into temptation the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak Jesus went away a second time and prayed my father if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it may your will be done when he came back he again found them sleeping because their eyes were heavy so he left Them and went away once more and prayed the third time saying the same thing then he returned to the disciples and said to them are you still sleeping and
resting look the hour has come and the son of man is delivered into the hands of sinners rise let us go here comes my betrayer while he was still speaking Judas one of the twel arrived with him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs sent from the chief priests and the Elders of The people Judas had arranged a signal with them the one I kiss is the man arrest him going at once to Jesus Judas said greetings Rabbi and kissed him Jesus replied do what you came for friend then the men stepped forward
seized Jesus and arrested him one of Jesus companions drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest cutting off his ear put your sword back in its place Jesus said to him for all who draw the Sword will die by the sword do you think I cannot call on my father and he will at once put at my disposal more than 12 Legions of angels but how then would the scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way then he touched the servant's ear and healed him at that time Jesus said
to the crowd am I leading a rebellion that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me every day I sat in the temple courts teaching and you did not arrest me but This has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled then all the disciples deserted him and fled Jesus was taken to the high priest Caiaphas where the teachers of the law and the elders had assembled Peter followed at a distance right up to the Courtyard of the high priest he entered and sat down with the guards to
see the outcome the chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for false Evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death but they did not find any though many false Witnesses came forward finally two came forward and declared this fellow said I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in 3 days then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus are you not going to answer what is this testimony that these men are bringing against you but Jesus remained silent the high priest said to Him I charge
you under oath by the Living God tell us if you are the Messiah the Son of God you have said so Jesus replied but I say to all of you from now on you will see the son of man sitting at the right hand of the mighty one and coming on the clouds of heaven then the high priest tore his clothes and said he has spoken blasphemy why do we need any more witnesses look now you have heard the blasphemy what do you think he is worthy of death they Answered then they spit in his
face and struck him with their fists others slapped him and said prophesy to us Messi who hit you now Peter was sitting out in the courtyard and a servant girl came to him you also were with Jesus of Galilee she said but he denied it before them all I don't know what you're talking about he said then he went out to the Gateway where another servant girl saw him and said to the people there this fellow was with Jesus of Nazareth he denied it again with an oath I don't know the man after a little
while those standing there went up to Peter and said surely you are one of them your accent gives you away then he began to call down curses and he swore to them I don't know the man immediately a rooster crowed then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken before the rooster crows you will disown me three times and he went outside and wept bitterly early in the morning all The chief priests and the Elders of the people made their plans to have Jesus executed they bound him led him away and handed him over to pilate
the Roman Governor when Judas who had betrayed him him saw that Jesus was condemned he was seized with remorse and returned the 30 pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders I have sinned he said for I have betrayed innocent blood what is that to us they replied That's your responsibility so Judas threw the money into the temple and left then he went away and hanged himself meanwhile Jesus stood before Pilate the Roman Governor pilate asked him are you the king of the Jews you have said so Jesus replied when he was accused
by the chief priests and the elders he gave no answer then pilate asked him don't you hear the testimony they are bringing against you But Jesus made no reply not even to a single charge to the great amazement of the governor now it was the governor's custom at the festival to relase a prisoner chosen by the crowd at that time they had a well-known prisoner whose name was barabus so when the crowd had gathered pilate asked them which one do you want me to release to you barabus or Jesus who is called the Messiah for
he knew it was out of self-interest that they had handed Jesus Over to him while pilate was sitting on the judge's seat his wife sent him this message don't have anything to do with that innocent man for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him but the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for barabus and to have Jesus executed which of the two do you want me to release to you asked the governor Barabas they answered what shall I do then with Jesus Who is called the
Messiah pilate asked they all answered crucify him why what crime has he committed asked pilate but they shouted all the louder crucify him when pilate saw that he was getting nowhere but that instead an uproar was starting he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd I am innocent of this man's blood he said it is your responsibility all the people answered his blood is on us and on our children Then he released barabus to them but he had Jesus flogged and handed him over to be crucified the soldiers took Jesus into
the ptor and gathered the whole company of soldiers around him they stripped him and put a Scarlet robe on him and then Twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head they put a staff in his right hand then they knelt in front of him and mocked him hey kill King of the Jews they said they spit on him and Took the staff and struck him on the head again and again after they had mocked him they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him then they led him away
to crucify him as they were going out they met a man from Serene named Simon and they forced him to carry the cross they came to a place called golgatha which means the place of the skull there they offered Jesus wine to drink mixed with gall but after tasting it he refused to drink it when they had Crucified him they divided up his clothes by casting lots and sitting down they kept watch over him there above his head they placed the written charge against him this is Jesus the king of the Jews two Rebels were
crucified with him one on his right and one on his left those who passed by hurled insults at him shaking their heads and saying you who are going to destroy the temple and build it in 3 days save yourself come Down from the cross if you are the Son of God in the same way the chief priests the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him he saved others they said but he can't save him himself he's the king of Israel let him come down now from the cross and we will believe in him
he trusts in God let God rescue him now if he wants him for he said I am the Son of God one of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him aren't you the Messiah save yourself and us but the Other criminal rebuked him don't you fear God he said since you are under the same sentence we are punished justly for we are getting what our Deeds deserve but this man has done nothing wrong then he said Lord remember me when you come into your kingdom Jesus answered him truly I tell you today you
will be with me in Paradise from noon until 3:00 in the afternoon Darkness came over all the land About 3: in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice Eli Eli Lima sabachthani which means my God my God why have you forsaken me when some of those standing there heard this they said he's calling Elijah immediately one of them ran and got a sponge he filled it with wine vinegar put it on a staff and offered it to Jesus to drink the rest said now leave him alone let's see if Elijah comes to save
him Jesus said father Forgive them for they do not know what they are doing finally he cried out one last time and gave up his Spirit at that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom the Earth shook the Rocks split the tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life life when the Centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened they were terrified and exclaimed surely He was the son of God many
women were there watching from a distance they had followed Jesus From Galilee to care for his needs among them were Mary Magdalene Mary the mother of James and Joseph and the mother of of zebedee's sons as evening approached there came a rich man from arthea named Joseph who had himself become a disciple of Jesus going to pilate he asked for Jesus body and pilate ordered that it be given To him Joseph took the body wrapped it in a clean linen cloth and placed it in his own new Tomb that he had cut out of the
rock he rolled a big Stone in front front of the entrance to the tomb and went away Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were sitting there opposite the tomb the next day the one after preparation day the chief priests and the Pharisees went to pilate sir they said we remember that While he was still alive that deceiver said after 3 days I will rise again so give the order for the tomb to be made secure until the third day otherwise his disciples may come and steal the body and tell the people that he has been
raised from the dead this last deception will be worse than the first take a guard pilate answered go make the tomb as secure as you know how so they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard After the Sabbath at dawn on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene and the other men went to look at the tomb there was a violent earthquake for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and going to the tomb rolled back the stone and sat on it his
appearance was like lightning and his clothes were white as snow the gods were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men the angel said to the women do not be afraid for I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified he is not here he has risen just as he said come and see the place where he lay then go quickly and tell his disciples he has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee there you will see him now I have told you so the
women hurried away from the tomb afraid yet filled with joy and ran to tell his disciples suddenly Jesus met them greetings he said they came to him Clasped his feet and worshiped him then Jesus said to them do not be afraid go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee there they will see me while the women were on their way some of the Gods went into the City and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened when the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan they gave the soldiers a
large sum of money telling them you are to say his disciples came during the night and stole him away While we were asleep if this report gets to the governor we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble so the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed meanwhile the 11 disciples went to Galilee to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go when they saw him they worshiped him but some doubted then Jesus came to them and said all authority in heaven and on Earth has been given to me therefore
go and make disciples of all Nations baptizing them In the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you and surely I Am With You Always to the very end of the age on the evening of that first day of the week when the disciples were together with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders Jesus came and stood among them and said peace be with you after he said this he showed them his hands and his side the disciples were
Overjoyed when they saw The Lord again Jesus said peace be with you as the father has sent me I am sending you and with that he breathed on them and said receive the Holy Spirit if you forgive anyone's sins their sins are forgiven if you do not forgive them they are not forgiven now Thomas also known as dimus one of the 12 was not with the disciples when Jesus came so the other disciples told him we have seen the Lord but he said to them unless I see the nail marks In his hands and put
my finger where the nails were and put my hand into his side I will not believe a week later his disciples were in the house again and Thomas was with them though the doors were locked Jesus came and stood among them and said peace be with you then he said to Thomas put your finger here see my hands reach out your hand and put it into my side stop doubting and believe Thomas said to him my Lord and my God then Jesus told him Because you have seen me you have believed blessed are those who
have not seen and yet have believed Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his deciples which are not recorded in this book but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah the Son of God and that by believing you may have life in his name Jesus appeared to his disciples over a period of 40 days and spoke about the kingdom of God on one Occasion while he was eating with them he gave them this command do not leave Jerusalem but wait for for the gift my father promised which you
have heard me speak about for John baptized with water but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit then they gathered around him and asked him Lord are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel he said to them it is not for you to know the times or dates the father has set by his own authority but You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my Witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the Earth
after he said this he was taken up before their very eyes and a cloud hid him from their sight they were looking intently up into the sky as he was going when suddenly two men dressed in white Stood Beside them men of Galilee they said why do you stand here looking into the sky this same Jesus who has been Taken from you into heaven will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven then the apostles returned to Jerusalem from the hill called the Mount of Olives a Sabbath day's walk from
the city when they arrived they went upstairs to the room where they were staying they all joined together constantly in prayer along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus and with his brothers on the day of Pentecost they were all together in one Place suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting they saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them all of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began
to speak in other tongues as the spirit enabled them now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven when they heard this sound a crowd came together in Bewilderment because each one heard their own language being spoken utterly amazed they asked aren't all these who are speaking galileans then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language Peter stood up with the 11 raised his voice and addressed the crowd fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem let me explain this to you listen carefully to
what I say these people are not drunk as you suppose it's only 9 in the morning No this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel in the last days God says I will pour out my spirit on all people your sons and daughters will will prophesy your young men will see Visions your old men will dream dreams even on my servants both men and women I will pour out my spirit in those days and they will prophesy I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below blood and fire and
Billows of smoke the sun will be turned to Darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious ious day of the Lord and everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved fellow Israelites listen to this Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by Miracles wonders and signs which God did among you through him as you yourselves know this man was handed over to you by God's deliberate plan and forn knowledge and you with the help of wicked men put put him to death
By nailing him to the Cross but God raised him from the dead freeing him from the agony of death because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him therefore let all Israel be assured of this God has made this Jesus whom you crucified both Lord and Messiah when the people heard this they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other Apostles Brothers what shall we do Peter replied reent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for The Forgiveness of your sins and you
will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit The Promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off for all whom the Lord Our God will call with many other words he warned them and he pleaded with them save yourselves from this corrupt generation those who accepted his message were baptized and about 3,000 were added to their number that day this marked the beginning of the early Christian Church as the apostles filled with the Holy Spirit spread the message of Jesus Christ far and wide Jesus's resurrection and Ascension confirmed his victory
over sin and death offering eternal life to all who believe in him thank you for joining us on this journey through the life of Jesus we hope this has provided you with a deeper understanding of his teachings his miracles and his ultimate sacrifice and victory may his life and message Continue to inspire and guide you
