was not buying it I was I could tell based on the uh the the facial and the responses there is a huge legal responsibility and he might get some let's say his station at the beginning it's normal I think it was just was it he didn't know me and also The fact was claiming that you have access to a Google Document is just uh it's Unique in unique also and so I I jum jumped on the C with Rand and he was very hesitant but at the same time he was open to the idea I

told him Rand cuz it needed to be ran Fishin not anyone else the reason is first of all choosing the right person uh to be the face of the leak was very important I cannot simply bring it to SEO journalists who like say you know and maybe pass it to Google and ask is is this real or not or you know and they will be way much more scared and skeptic and probably they would also give your name even to the googlers to be honest I don't care they can give the name yeah but the

the fact was matter is it needed to be ran fishan first of all he had a lot of experiences when it comes to uh trying out experiments click manipulation personal attack on him both from the SEO industry and also googlers to him and also to the Ryan Jones I guess the I guess he was working on the domain based metrics and many googlers tried to exclude him from the SEO industry and many other things as well many seos suffered from actually this I say protecting the independent voice open-mindedness and you know what Ryan Jones is

no longer with us let's cheers to him Che to him coffee and this is why I think no Financial motives behind this although I've got a lot of positive let's say uh Mentions across the news and I'm also EMB bettered them with within my site but I had two option will I keep this to myself and file a debug and and or the second option share it and show the real how the real things are working to the entire industry exactly and it's a noble Behavior to be honest because I said it yesterday too because

there were some other people who have the leak they just actually get a reward from Google then they didn't actually let's say explain Anything there directly but you have chosen to share publicly I hope there is nothing good about uh any sort of let's say angriness or feelings getting things involved I hope if that particular per person dejan one day we can shake hands we can hug each other it's Brotherhood we need to understand this and no matter what path he chose to stay quiet potentially get this lck out of the search results in order

to protect protect it from Outsiders uh but listen There were like so many incenses in my life that I knew the fact that people don't have a clue what's going on and a lot of people have Financial issues because of the ACO issues there are colleg students trying to to use you know choose the path of generating some money from from search engine optimization and they're barely getting any results and that's because spam algorithms mostly but sometimes just you lack Chrome and nav boost which is the Click data signals in order to power up the

site in uh in certain metrics and a lot of a lot of lives unfortunately have been uh wased by the outdated and Incorrect and incomplete information which I would put a quote on that lies provided by the search relations team and that's that's a huge responsibility you know like these these particular statements that they made the lies listen first of all you're not just lying to the Web Master you're lying to The users because that particular statements are also covered in news media so declining any answers would have been much better approach but what they've

chose was we're going to lie about it and we're going to lie to our users that we don't use nav boost that we don't use Chrome data and that's very dangerous and IMM more not even a realistic lie to be honest because I know it's I guess majority of the industry never believed in that but Still when you have the proof you're able to say it way much stronger that it is a lie earlier on I was naive and I believed Google that's that's the truth I used to attend occasionally The Hangout calls that they

used to make back in the day which theyve stopped completely and I used to be why they would lie it's actually obvious why they would to be honest because I always Define the crem liny do you know that concept no it's actually a cold war Concept and during the Cold War the West realizes that what Kremlin says is different than what Kremlin does that's why they call it kremlinology a science they try to understand what Kremlin is doing based on their lies so what this is actually what Google is doing too they say something but

many of them wouldn't share to be honest in our industry because I'm Sharing many case studies if someone understands that usually they don't teach to the next person that much another part there is uh when you share this you basically wanted to change how they are communicating with people oh yeah and you wanted to make SEO industry more respectable by the search engine communication teams or their communication style so I believe every SE should say at least one time thank you to your name definitely thank you to All of you like listen it's it's manipulation

but something I would love to add as the result of the leak my name is out there now there are no Financial motives coming out of this but now all of a sudden like my name is popping up it's normal it's yeah it's normal but I want to be as transparent as possible as well so even I embedded the citations within my website there's also one more thing that to mention there they Shadow bound your video and probably they will Or they might probably Shadow B this one as well do it they also block lots

of even your website or your own video announcements they don't rank for the Google API League even if you are the source it's also it's different right from what they say they usually say that we always rank the original Source you know how do you feel about it all good no problem at all yeah it's all good but also it shows the hypocrisy right they Rank the or Source unless the original source is not yeah I mean Nazi Germany what can we do about it the the US they also closed your ads account I don't

know if that's related but that that happened so it was suspicious activity yeah it's not causation but there is a correlation in a different way did you do anything suspicious for your so on my ran I visited one week uh spent one week with my family in Iran I don't know if my Google activity had something to to Do with it the these folks at Google I'm not surprised if they would do that after the league because this particular thing happened I appealed the and the appeal even was rejected after the leak so yeah yeah

yeah you know when we were doing the black at thingss in 2017 in the casino nich uh and I was a PBM manager we were actually disconnecting our phones directly we were using two different connected vpns to just actually log into our pbn server we were Also trying to H anything that is connected to us we were not even using Chrome so that they shall not track us we were that level of paranoid about getting CAU by them since we were making millions back then and I can tell it they are they always know who

is behind these things and they always track oh yeah they get all the websites from your search console even uh just around SE Master Summit Vietnam one of my friends they got like I won't Give the name since I didn't take the permission but if they give the permission I will pronounce it later they lost like over 500 websites because one person who is blocked by John Miller was in all the search console accounts and I warned him explicitly because he shared that hey guys I am just blocked by June I said that directly remove

yourself from all the search console and Google analytics accounts they didn't they were late to do that and they lost All the websites only that person if that person is in the account if the person is not in that account it was okay even if the website are from same design same topic even same server so he was the separator mainly I can tell I did he have any good websites actually taken down as well any they say that they are AI but these websites are coming from 2015 2014 they don't have any anything with

AI they are mostly like local SEO local lead generation for Local business any instant um any instance of let's say innocent clients or anything like that getting uh the person is pretty rich he doesn't need any client I can tell and they created actually over 800 websites back to take the Revenge so oh it's working well I mean I'm not big fan of Revenge but uh yeah I'm just when I say Revenge I mean like playing back the next to doing to do the next yeah you got to you got to watch your enemy yeah

that's true and Let's also talk about a bit how you started doing SEO and you also say that istan was your let's say first city that you visited uh the first city I lived in yeah so I started off SEO I believe in 2009 had to download website software download build some links to it using um links link exchange networks automated link exchange networks yeah you link their link directly exactly and I got the page rank to page rank three the homepage page rank the toolbar page Rank And uh I published some software downloads and

after maybe I would say three to four months he got to 50,000 daily traffic and how old were you back then 15 years old 16 years old nine 10 years old little baby you also hacked let's not talk about it let's not talk about that you didn't hack let's say you just found something open there yeah no comment no comment uh I would caution against inacurate and outdated and uh and this sort of Information yeah okay yeah okay it's good to know that at least you you learn from Google uh I cannot deny or confirm

anything yeah okay then yeah and this may not actually have have happened uh just my disclaimer yeah and did you read the anti uh antitrust low seit against Google from USA did you read the files every single sentence every single word did you realize it now boost in the files every every single one I believe it has been mentioned like eight to four Times and the the the questionnaire basically he was trying to get an info from the Google engineer and Google engineer was really scared I can see it from the text because he always

while trying to take the attention to the other sections did you realize that section of the documents I've seen I watched and I've read all of them for the having some amount of document documentation to back up in the Interview process what I can tell you is um they're very silent about talking about nav boost and here I would blame the leaders I would not blame the just the pr team let's say a war happens a soldier is responsible for killing innocent citizens even potentially unfortunately raping them but I believe it's the leaders we should

blame not the people and not the soldiers CU they have orders to do and if for example innocent person Dies then the soldier will be blamed but we should unless we've seen evidence that the soldier was involved in war crime then we should put the blame on the leader what I can tell you is so again inaccurate outdated and [ __ ] information take it as a grain of salt was a project manager behind both Chrome and Google Toolbar sandy sandy or Sundar so we're not sure how it all played out but you can make

your own judgment we are certain to some extent that Google Toolbar collected user data it's not even surprising they of course it's not even surprising of course then after the after that he was a project manage manager behind Chrome and all of a sudden he's the CEO and we and they don't talk about user signals if you have a little baby belt it's working fine you don't want to talk about it two angles there I believe so emit sing he left Google and they paid emit like around I believe $55 million to just Make him

sign a paper that tells that you won't work with the competitor so he was okay with it for under $60 million and when I look at this SAR uh what I see from his carrier is that he literally knows what what actually works for creating a proper search engine and then he tries to take attention somewhere else because Google is like a really black box and in this case if they start to tell that yeah we use actually user your competitor will start To actually imitate what we are doing Bing does it bing uses and

they're credit to Bing they're public about it entire time public but still slightly different I believe you remember the Met Cuts I believe he he he was invited to a Microsoft Event in 2010 I guess and he blamed directly the Microsoft [ __ ] by imitating Google results exactly the same the main issue there is [ __ ] doesn't have same level of data as Google and if they don't have enough Level of data they can't have the Precision with their algorithms so the data of Google and the results of the Google they are aligning

with each other and they can predict your data by looking at your results interesting and that's why I believe we are seeing all the fluctuations lately because after you drop the bump they started to change most of the results and I believe the main reason for that is they are just poisoning the data they are poisoning The results so that the competitor can't understand what they have literally because even Sam Altman St once that uh Google is basically using C gbt to train their own language model because if you ask like let's say four trillion

questions to the C gbt you can get all the results then you can start to predict their model behind the scene and if I have 400 trillions of search results then I also have the API leaks and all the past data I can start to Predict what they have on what weight and I believe they are trying to hide some other let's say stuff compared to their competitors as well you also have some experience on that based on the anchor system that they are using I believe you also think that they are changing some percentages

to let's say height their own U ratios ratios basically yeah and imagine that you are a competitor to Google let's say you're a Microsoft engineer you get all the Ratios and you can start to implement it directly yeah and then if they blue the data if you start to change everything suddenly then it is very hard to get guess what ratio they are using yeah and I believe they are just poisoning the data on that part the foundation of the algorithm which is currently based on dock anchors let's let's call it topical links and nav

boost which is clicks well not change what will change though yeah is the measurements and the mechanisms Of action and also the weights involved so for example let's say league has happened you cannot do things oneone anymore like directly uh working the way that is mentioned in the leak then you're going to make adjustments to that without actually changing the factor so the dock anchor uh sorry the anchor spam penalized let's call it says uh the percentage of penalized anchors between uh how many days there is spread out in the last uh 80% of them

how many uh how They spread out between between um uh how many days are spread out so instead of let's say 60% 70% you bring it up to 90% And even maybe you'll add one or two other signals to play around with it to make it more indirect to make it more conservative and more aggressive but the foundation of the algorithm wouldn't change user data and also links and a Spam factors so I don't I I will serve the full confidence that I don't think the algorithm to to change significantly Also they can't because Google

is very you will like they it's a very cautious company and if they change things tremendously they won't be able to track it they have to change it gradually slowly and it's how they are operating for many years I mean I would disagree AO overviews a big gamble all of a sudden like everyone hates and it's a bit different but because it doesn't happen that frequently second thing is that they needed data because jgpt has All the data but I don't think that J mini has been used as jgpt so they wanted to get all

the data for maybe let's say 30 days they didn't even allow regular users to close or turn it off because they want feedback they are hungry for it and once they have enough level of data okay now we can close it and we can start to have the Precision because for instance like two years ago one of the googlers said that they started to the index long videos because They realize that people are pumping all the short videos and to create some res resources for the short ones they started the index the long ones was

it Gary Elish I guess so I don't remember the exact name but one of the prestigious members of the search relations team uhhuh let's I love them by the way just they they really have to understand this they need to put out actionable information how to optimize websites in in term of not only Technically but in the term of us ux news coverage and like you know May maybe like something great that Martin for example could do bring on a ux designer how to lay out Pages or John like um bring an an additional expert

to talk about how to get news coverage I agree with you but I believe there are a few things there so this is again comes to the elit crinology so I am coming from blacket background and if I see that a googler say something that is Working Pro to be honest I will exploit it this is a direct honest feedback I said it on the stage too if I would recognize that my websites are ranking higher during the rainy days I will pray to the God for raining every day so my job is ranking the

website turning clicks into the money I keep it simple from my end and in this case if a googler says that like look if you have let's say a centered full centered full with web component text above after that Image and this is the Optimum font size to increase the relevance I will use it and entire web will be using that then it will be very hard for Google to have a proper algori to differentiate websites from each other so in my opinion the search relations team they they are just stalling seos and St J

I don't know which one of Them is actually news which and also it's important to keep in mind the current version of page rank that Google uses the patent patent there's no patent for that yeah the that patent is already expired the original page rank the Serge Brin the lat page version it's already expired but if you actually read enough level of patterns and I have read over 4,000 of them God damn that's a lot have you actually checked out the so I'm giving out too much information here Click a spam P patent click click

call it differently but what they do is they use historical data between different type of time frames and according to the Historical data and when I say historical data I mean clicks or Mouse engagement yeah yeah activity they call it usually and they reassign new topicality scores new relevance scores or new distance scores directly so that's why I believe you changed things in a really good way because many people are not able to read patterns but they are able to read the leaked documents very very easily because they are very easy and very direct to

understand I can Definitely tell that there is one more for instance Nathan Sage from our community shared that he was looking your files and he realized that there is something that they call side embeddings embedding means Vector basically and they try to vectorize entire website then they try to assign a topicality to the website and if it deviates from the core topic they decrease the ranking of it in our topical map system we have something that I call Core section of The topical map which means it has to be on a single entity a single

subject if you go for multiple contexts you decrease in rankings as well and all these things are like like okay we we always read about it we always think about it but we didn't be this level certain about it you know like it's like a great feeling that's why I believe everyone should hug you at least three times UFOs are real guys UFOs are real now all of a sudden we see evidence for That you know yeah and the same thing the same logic applies here and I'm great to hear that the hard work you've

been doing on researching the patent just aligning with uh with the recent API leak there are too many to be honest the for instance trending the correlating the traffic with the page Rank and also topic sensitive page rank these are different designs by the way there are actually different patterns for the page rank too many different Like user sensitive page rank topic sensitive page rank from a topic to topic the page rank flow changes according to the popularity or traffic amount a page gets again the specific uh the page rank flow is changing we were

actually explaining these things but when you explain it people usually don't believe in pns that much but once you have the Cod okay you have to believe now because it's directly the codes itself or one of the internal apis of Code but we know that Google doesn't create these files for exercising or fun they use it they spend money to create these documents so they have to use it as well definitely yeah exactly some of them they they don't file patterns just let's write the code let's be silent about it I think the way I

think page rank there many variations of page rank yeah uh I think what really happened was so in 2004 uh they made some changes to the anchors system and some spam changes Also some system called anchor Plus+ and I believe after that so somewhere around the line they ALS they introduced the idea of page rank it's topic related page rank based on the anchor text so for example someone on uh links to your content using the world URL here it will not have much value unless it provides some amount of context either around the link

or the link itself I think the the logic behind that is if you're an authority for the Phrase then you should rank for not Adobe the logic behind it is they want they want link profile to be focused B based on its uh topical values not based on Purely its reputation the reputation needs to be topic focused as well I guess there are two concepts for it one is random Surfer they call it it's just focus on the popularity these are again from their terms by the way another one is the reasonable Surfer so the

page rank basically is if someone blind will Be clicking all the links on the web how many times they will be ending up to a certain page it gives the popularity centrality and importance of that page but if the person is not blind if the person is reasonable and understands the topical connections or contextual connections between the pages now what is the possibility of landing on that page based on these page rank flow or link connections and I believe what you explain in this system also Tri on Imitate a reasonable Surfer as much as possible

based on the anchored text understanding or classifying it according to the topics it's like you know click here is not going to get you ranked number one that's what I'm trying to say and I would be cautious about it though like if you try to game game phrase anchor tag so much God it it just mean a you know time based penalty or something like that which I would the way you want to do it take a page of a Very strong link profile take that page work on that page which has you know historic

link profile with a lot of age links age age back links and with a lot of you know generic anchors and work on that page to you know to do the exact match linking on that not not a page that was born yesterday you buil your first link today and a page that is proven basically a page that is proven uh but in the leak also Google also confirmed that couple of years ago they Use the surrounding text of a link as well but the anchor the anchor is the main one here so the anchor

text need to be descript please start by looking at your internal links don't jump on F and purchasing 10,000 exact match links they're not going to go They're not going to take you anywhere in the search ranking this is a great suggestion actually I will mention a few patents to B to just validate what you say one is Anchor Tech indexing really important Engineers are there the first paragraph of this patent is a is the summary section they Define two concept one is predictive information retrieval they call it basically predictive information retrieval is understanding what
