hey guys what's up in today's video we're going to be doing a review on the lavinda lavinda focus on beauty portable drill now i have the original drill which i love i love i absolutely love it's just a little bulky i'm going to be reviewing both the two okay so this is how this is how the casing looks standard very nice little asmr um let's open her up he's so pretty i don't know if they're doing that on camera but it's so pretty i love it so much save your standard manual i think that's about
charge time okay so you're supposed to charge it for eight hours and then after that moving forward you only have to uh charge it for an hour and a half to two hours okay oh she's so pretty i couldn't decide between this one and the bell because the bell was pink and lavender i mean pink and magenta which is really pretty but blue and purple are my favorite colors so yeah i know that's what was my final decision this has some good weight on it i'm not gonna lie good good weight compared to this one
this the other one is more heavier than this one believe it or not so that's a way comparison it did come with some sanding bands but honestly these aren't even good because they're all damaged from what i can see so that's annoying let's see so i don't know if you can see it here but it's like rolling apart and they all seem to be doing that so these are pretty much gonna go it's gonna go to the trash and then you've got this the the cradle for the well handpiece it does it's a hard plastic
like jelly so it's got some weight on it which is good i thought it was gonna be like a cheapy thing but it doesn't feel like it of course your cord it comes with some drill bits so for 170 dollars it better come with all the stuff i'm most excited about this one right here this i'm most excited about this one right here this cuticle bit because i've been wanting to buy this um to remove the cuticles i only have the small ones that i fight with so i'm excited that's in there and then the
rest i actually already have so it's always good to have backups because eventually you have to replace them so that's good now the wand the the drill bit oh this is very heavy i am again going to be comparing the two in a second but this has some weight to it it's very thin and sleek but it's heavy it's heavy so here's the beautiful drill i'm gonna leave all the plastic coverings and stuff on it the film that it comes with because they don't want to damage the outside um colors because it's just so pretty
so we're gonna put the you have your standard forward and reverse where you put the drill piece on and off switch so then turn her on so it's on forward and then again i want you to hear it she's pretty quiet she's very quiet so that's good nice even on the cradle soft vibration nothing bad and you never want to put it at this rpm anyways it's too fast it'll hurt your client generally i like to keep it between 11 and 12 rpm if i'm removing uh acrylic um or bringing down the bulk if not
when i'm doing the cuticles i like to keep it at like a five so let's see it in reverse initiating so now we're in the reverse yeah so everything works beautifully this is the drill that i already own and it's from the same company lavinda um i do love it it still works beautifully it is lightweight the only thing is it's very bulky and i have a very small desk so i wanted to try the portable for that reason let's compare pieces okay this is a lot heavier it's a lot more sleek as skinnier as
you can see between the two but this one carries weight to it well this is like very lightweight so i don't know when i'm doing the acrylic if it's going to over time hurt my hands more than this one i guess i'll let you know as time goes on but she's going to go on retirement what i'm going to do now is i'm going to um cut down these nails because i'm going to be doing a new set and i'm going to show you how the drill actually works so let me do that and come
back to you guys okay dokey all right i'm back they're all cut down because i'm gonna soak them for my new set which should be coming at you soon i'm gonna use my favorite cuticle bits i will link this down below and this is the coarse bit so it looks like this my favorite favorite favorite favorite let's see how it performs alright so a standard lock-in unlock so i'm gonna unlock it take the pin out put my cuticle bits in make sure it's fully locked and it just put this over here forward so it's very
low all right i'm gonna put her there i'm gonna put her over here and we're gonna go to town i can already tell i'm gonna love this drill bit because honestly i don't feel anything it doesn't feel like it's on my nail whatsoever there's no skipping [Music] what i'm going to do is i'm going to bring it to the lowest setting to see if it skips because sometimes a lot of the time when you lower the settings um the drill bit will skip so let's see [Music] no skipping whatsoever i'm loving my new investments and
it works beautifully so i'm just going to do the rest of my hands and that's it okay so i just wanted to i guess i have to remove the i have to still remove this side but that's okay i wanted to give my final thoughts on this i gotta say it's worth every penny so far i have no complaints it is heavier this piece but when holding it you don't feel it as much um so i have again i have no i have nothing bad to say about this i i really do love it and
i think it's a great investment if you guys are looking for a really good drill um definitely look into this if you guys want something more affordable then you can go with this one um i'll link them both down below this is 50 bucks if you're if you're looking for something more affordable you can do this one this one's 50 and i've had it for a year it still works perfectly fine the drill again is lightweight so it's really good for a beginner but if you're looking for more of a better investment then go for
the more pricey i really hope you guys enjoyed this uh review and i'll see you in my next one bye guys
