Making money online from home as a developer is now an easy mode in 2025. And the crazy part is that you don't need complex coding skills, a huge investment, years of experience, or even a computer science degree. I'm a software engineer, and I recently started my own one person coding business outside of work.
In my first month in business, I made $11,000. All of this while working only 4 hours a day. But most importantly, I've helped multiple brothers build halal tech businesses.
This is the first time I see an opportunity where beginners can make substantial money building tech solutions. By the end of this video, you'll have my complete system to launch your own halal oneperson coding business as a developer. This is in theory.
This is the exact road map I use to help developers in our community lend from 5 to $15,000 projects. I'm sharing everything. Strategies, pricing, formulas, client acquisition methods, all of which of course aligns with our dean.
Let me be brutally honest about where we are. Big tech is laying off thousands of developers. Traditional coding jobs are becoming commoditized.
AI is replacing basic programming tasks. But let me tell you why I'm so fired up about 2025. Right now, we're experiencing something that only happens once in a generation.
A moment when the rules of success completely change. When small players can make it big. Look into what's happening.
Every business owner is panicking right now. They know AI will either make or break them. They're desperate looking for someone to help and they have money to spend.
The numbers are mind-blowing. There are 33 million small businesses in America alone. Each one needs at least two to three AI solutions.
Average businesses can easily spend $2 to $10,000 monthly on this. Just do the math. It's a trillion dollar shift.
But here is what makes this moment special. The barrier to entry is really low right now. AI tools are getting easier to use.
No code solutions are becoming extremely powerful. You can build in weeks instead of months. And you have templates and frameworks for everything.
Yet the rewards are higher than ever. You have projects starting at $3,000 and more. You can get monthly retainers of a few thousand.
You can work on multiple clients in parallel and you can scale your solutions. And the best part is that there's almost no competition. I mean, look who is your competition?
Big tech. They're chasing those big enterprise deals. Other developers, they're still grinding on lit code.
Existing agencies, they're too slow to adapt. The field is wide open. Think about this.
Every law firm needs AI for documents. Every real estate agent will need AI for leads. Every restaurant will need AI for orders.
Every doctor will need AI for appointment booking. But this window won't stay open forever. In 18 months, big players will catch up.
In 24 months, the market will become saturated. The time to move is now. This is our moment as an ummma.
You might be thinking, "Is this really possible? " Well, let me show you what's happening right now inside of our community. Look at Brother Zed.
He's a junior developer in Switzerland. He never had any freelance projects before. He landed a $10,000 client to build an AI sales training app.
It's his first client ever. He went from 0 to $10,000 in one project. We have brother Fias who is a full-time developer based in Palestine.
He landed a remote client who pays him $1 to $2,000 a month and this is outside of his job. He works flexible hours to deliver projects for this client. So this is a nice extra income on flexible hours.
We have brother Annayat who is in a similar situation. He's also a full-time developer. He got connected to a development agency in the US who saw one of the AI projects that he built.
He made a deal with them for $1. 2 to $1. 5,000 a month to help them build a few AI solutions.
Again, he works just a few hours a week outside of his day job. We have brother Elbert, who also has a full-time job, and he landed two AI projects for a total of $5,400. His latest project is an AI content repurposing tool for a large Islamic YouTube channel with 500,000 subscribers.
So, he's serving the UMA while earning a halal income outside of his day job. The beautiful part about all of this is that it's 100% halal businesses. No ribba, no haram industry involved, just brothers helping brothers making real impact on real businesses.
and they're all building while keeping their full-time job and they have full flexibility on this extra income that they're making. And here is what's crazy. Most of them started just a few months ago.
They're not AI experts. They're not super experienced developers. They just saw an opportunity.
They took action at the right time and they followed our framework. So, what is our framework? First, let me show you the most important decision that you'll make.
Picking your niche. Now, I know what some of you are thinking. What if I can't pick a niche?
What if I want to start broad? I don't want to limit my options. Well, you have three valid approaches.
Number one, you can laser focus. You just pick one very specific niche. Number two, you have the dual focus.
You focus on two different niches, which is a little bit more broad. And number three, you have the general start. So, you pick multiple niches and then you narrow down as you progress.
The three approaches are fine, but my advice is don't try to serve everyone because you'll spread yourself too thin. It'll be too difficult. The reason why niching down is so powerful is let me just give you an example.
Imagine you work with a law firm and you build a project for them. you deliver amazing results for them and you're able to save them 20 hours of work every week for this automation project that you built. So now you have a very powerful case study for your agency.
When you approach the next law firm, you speak their language. You understand their problem. You have an amazing proof of work that you can show them.
It becomes a much easier sale. Now compare this to going broad. So this means that instead of going to another law firm now, you would go to like a doctor practice.
So you will approach them and there your case study of the law firm is not going to hit as hard. So you'll have to start from scratch every time and it will be harder to convince them. It's it's harder sale.
When you pick a niche, you want to look for these three criterias. They have deep pockets. So this means that they can pay you from $2 to $5,000 monthly or they can pay you for a big project like $15,000 upfront directly or more.
Or they can pay you a bigger amount for a one-time project like $10,000 $15,000. Number two is that they have urgent problems. So this means that they need help solving them right now.
It's not something they need in the future. They need it right now. And number three, they're easy to access.
You can reach them easily. They're within your network or you have a way to get to them. Let me show you a few examples of great niches right now.
You have law firms because they're drowning in document work. They have high profit margins. They're desperate for AI solutions and they can easily pay you those amounts that we discussed like $300 to $5,000 monthly or more.
You have real estate firms. They need lead automations. They have money to invest.
They're quick to make decisions and they love tech that makes them money. Another good one is medical practices. They're buried in admin work.
They have high value clients. They need patient communication help and they're willing to pay for solutions. These are three good niches for you to go after.
Step two, you have to choose what you're going to sell them. So once you have chosen your direction, your niche, this is the next critical decision. A mistake I see too often is that developers try to build everything.
They try to become the AI guy for everything and essentially they become mediocre at every area. Instead, I want you to choose one service. For example, document automation.
Every business needs this. It's easy to build with modern AI tools. You can show a clear return on investment.
For example, like you can tell them, I'm going to save you 20 plus hours a week. This is perfect for law firms, for accounting, for medical. I'm going to give you an example of a real client that we have at my agency, CodeBender AI.
We lended a $7,500 project to automate form filing for a law firm based in California. Sales AI agents are also a good service to sell. They directly impact revenue.
They work 24/7 to generate leads. They have a higher price point that you can sell. And this is perfect for clients like real estate firms.
You can also do customer service AI like chat bots and voice agents. There's massive demand across various industry. It's a clear cost-saving.
You can have a monthly recurring revenue and it's a perfect starter project. In general, if I can give you a tip is the closer your service is to generating revenue for that business, the more money you can charge and the easier the sale becomes. Because if you sell a service that makes them money, you can charge more.
It's easy to show return on investment. So this means that they're going to take a decision faster, which means that it's going to be easier for you to sell that service. Next is step three.
You need to choose your tech stack. And here the beautiful part is that you don't need anything too complex. You can use no code to make 80% of the work for you and only use code for the custom bits.
This makes development much faster. Our proven tech stack at Codebender AI is we use OpenAI as the AI brain as a default. But if we need to, we pick other models like Claude, Deep Seek or others.
Then we use retail AI for voice agents in it and make. com or zapier for automation and nexj for custom web apps. Step number four, land your first clients.
Let me show you the smartest way to get your first clients. We will use the network targeting method. So you think about your chosen niche and then you map out your network specifically for that niche.
Example, if you're targeting doctors, you make a list of every doctor that you know, every family member who is a doctor. List friends who work in healthcare. Think about your local mazjid.
Is there any doctors there that you know? These are your direct connections. This is your level one circle.
Then you want to think about your level two circle. For example, your cousin who is in medical school. Does he know other doctors?
Is he connected to a whole medical community? Your friend at a hospital, he's surrounded by potential clients. You have an aunt who works as a nurse.
She might know a few doctors. What's special about niche networking is that doctors know other doctors. Lawyers know other lawyers.
Real estate agents know other real estate agents. So one connection can open doors to entire networks. Once you have all those discussions going, you need to show them a demo of what service you can provide, right?
Because you want to lend them as a client. So if you want to build voice agents, you send them examples of voice agents. You show it to them.
If they're interested, you try to get them as a client. If they're not interested, you try to get them to introduce you to someone else within that same niche. This will get you your first three clients that will kickstart everything.
Remember, your network is much deeper than you think, and one good client can lead to many more. The key is to focus on one niche and going deep. Another good strategy is that you can join a community such as the Cutbender Network and you're going to get access to all of our private projects there.
You'll also be able to collaborate with other developers, work on projects. We have multiple developers who landed projects inside of our community. You can see a few of the screenshots we have here from our Discord server.
If you're interested, go to link in description lascob. com to book a call with either me or my team and we'll show you our strategy to lend paid projects. You need to understand something critical.
This window of opportunity will close fast. Big tech is already moving in. In 12 to 18 months, this opportunity might be gone.
The time to move is right now. Alhamdulillah, our community is growing fast and more and more people are joining and helping each other. We're building something bigger than ourselves.
This is about creating generational wealth in a halal way. To get started, you need to learn all the steps to build your own AI oneperson business. So, I've made this specific video for you.
Check it out here. Thank you for watching. Good benders and assalamu aalaykum.
