Th this is actually I was being fair. No, no. This is a huge Democratic party problem.
If you look at Democratic cities, they are terribly run. They have incredibly high taxes. It is impossible to build.
So the cost of housing, let me finish. Let me finish. I give you a chance.
The cost of housing is crazy in places like New York and Chicago. Bill Maher brings on this woke idiot, Fared Zachariah, the CNN host, onto his show Real Time with Bill Maher and forces him to admit that Democrats are running the country into the ground. Let's get into this clip here where Bill Maher goes at Fared Zachariah makes him admit that his side, the CNN side, the Democrat side are the ones that are ruining America.
Let's get into this clip here from real time with Bill Maher, the former mayor of Chicago and former ambassador to Japan, Rahm Emanuel, and chief of staff. Weren't you You don't think that's a more impressive credit than those other two? Chief of staff of the White House.
I feel like that is the biggest job you can have in this country behind the president. Isn't that the gatekeeper of everything? The chief of staff.
It is the gatekeeper, but uh the biggest job is uh mayor of Chicago. Yeah. Uh and then chief of staff is the worst job until you get through it and then you look back finally last long.
I mean like it's so intense, right, that you can only do it for 18 to 19 months is the modern average, right? Yeah. Not that I figured that out with that.
But with ambassador, you get you get called the honorable ambassador for the So you probably get better restaurant reservations with that. So sensitive, don't you think? Yeah, we do.
And it's your excellency from now on to you. I went through Senate confirmation. Um, all right.
This is from the people. What do you think about Trump's proposed $5 million gold card visa for wealthy foreigners? Is it smart economic move or a problematic policy?
I guess what the I know what he's talking about. Trump wants to sell a visa. Do you get permanent residency?
By the way, we are hardly I looked this up. We're hardly the first country to do this. Doesn't mean it's the right thing to do, but you know, I I remember Yeah, we actually have a version of it.
So I think it's called the EB5 or something like that. So it's it's it's it's fine to do it. I actually think maybe it's because I'm you know very patriotic.
I think 5 million we should be charging 20 million or you know American citizenship is worth more than that. Um it comes with Ukrainian minerals though. But what I what I love about Trump is he and he said he said you know you got the green card but with this the gold card you get extra privileges.
Like like what? You got to vote twice or what? This is amazing.
Well, now you're speaking Chicago language. Uh I'm for it, but it's part of a bigger package on immigration reform. It's been 42 years since.
Yeah. And the reason why like they're very see-through, right? The reason why they're for it is because Bill Maher prefaced the question by saying, "Well, uh we're not the first country to do this by far.
There's a ton of other countries that have done something like this before, but previously if you were to watch CNN or any left-wing news outlet, they hate the proposal because guess why? Donald Trump is the one that's proposing it. So, of course, they hate the proposal, right?
Like, of course, they hate the proposal. Donald Trump's proposing it. And that's how Fared Zachariah has been acting, you know, his his entire career with CNN.
And that's how most of these left-wingers act, but now they go on Bill Maher show. because Bill Maher is the kind of guy that's going to make fun of you if you say dumb stuff like that. Now all of a sudden they just gain common sense out of nowhere.
It's so hilarious, man. It's the last one. So I'm not I'm not against it, but it's part of a whole package.
I I read that the current mayor of Chicago has an approval rating of 6. 6%. Round it up.
But I mean I mean you were just the ambassador to Japan. If that was your approval rating in Japan, they would do Hiakiri on the live TV. They would do it at 27.
I mean, what what's going on in Chicago as the person? Look, I mean, this is, we were talking about this a little earlier. I mean, you have also the mayor of New York not doing well.
Uh, uh, obviously other things also here in Los Angeles not doing well. The mayor here, look, and then you got mayors like the mayor in San Francisco uh, and other cities. So, that are doing well.
So, I would say look, there is a general rule. I had this when I was mayor. safe streets, strong schools, stable finances.
Focus on those three things and your city's going to be fine. We've gone through five years where people became way too permissive of a culture. They were all which is why everything's locked up at Walgreens and CVS and that is a disaster.
And our school and I'll say this about our schools. I don't want to hear another word about the locker room. I don't want to hear another word about the bathroom.
You better start focusing on the classroom. I'm not I agree. We had the worst reading, we had the worst reading scores for eighth graders in 30 years.
And nobody, not a governor, not a mayor, not a president, not a secretary of education talking about it. We're all wrapped up. Look, in seventh grade, if I known that I could have said the word they and got in the girls' bathroom, I would have done it.
Okay, this is we we literally are a superpower. We're facing off against China with 1. 4 four billion people and twothirds of our children can't read eighth grade level.
So no more I will agree with this guy that China and and and these places are running laps around us when it comes to the education systems. But this does come across as virtue signaling heavy because like this this is what they love to say. Why are we worried about which gender is going into which bathroom when our school system is terrible and they don't you know black communities don't have good schooling?
It's like, okay, that's a great point, but you're also not doing anything about that. So, if you care deeply about that issue, go do something about it. We or like someone where to like who's opposing this guy right here would say we care about our kids not having the opposite gender inside of their bathroom so they can have a safe place to use the bathroom.
So, we're going to go make that happen and make sure that that is the case. personally. Maybe they're not having personal experience of a bad school system that's ruining the education for their children.
Maybe that's not their personal experience, so they don't care that much about it. Why does it have to be mutually exclusive? Why does it have to be one thing or the other?
Like, like why why can't you answer the question that Bill Maher asked directly instead of this virtue signaling stuff? Like Bill Maher asks him a very clear question and he just goes on to virtue signal for three minutes in a row. And that's what they all do, man.
It's It's just tired about the light. Wait a second. I'm on a roll for a second.
No more. I don't want I don't want to hear I gave him the light. I don't want to hear another word about the classroom.
I don't want to hear another word about the ba the bathroom until you tell me what you're going to do with the classroom. But I think I think to be fair, this is actually I was being fair. No, no.
This is a huge Democratic party problem. If you look at democratic cities, they are terribly run. They have incredibly high taxes.
It is impossible to build. So the cost of housing, let me finish. Let me finish.
I give you a chance. The cost of housing is crazy in places like New York and Chicago. If you look at Democratic states, you know, look, you go look at uh New York versus Florida, okay?
Roughly the same population. The budget of of New York State is twice that of Florida. What do they have?
The streets paved with gold. I live in New York. I pay the highest taxes in New York.
You get nothing for it. And I think that is the image people have of the Democratic party. Lots of taxes, lots of regulation, but nothing gets done.
And I think I live in LA, right? And I think and I think you know listen the Democrats have to own this and realize the answer to everything is not more taxes, more regulations. People are fed up of that and they feel that it isn't working.
The Democrats look as somebody who produced the best graduation growth in the country and they changed our high school. You were a good man. No, that's not the point.
The point was we ch But I'll take that. The point isn't the point isn't the rules. The point is the results.
And the party has gotten way too focused on what the rules are. And I do agree with you on this. We have made it impossible to function as a as a city or as a state and been so take an example of this example here in obviously in LA it took a fire and a natural disaster to make you realize you know what that rule is not that important in Pennsylvania a bridge collapse all of a sudden we go well that environmental rule is just not important we got to build a bridge it's much more important this is this is exactly why I like and I I respect Bill Maher's show so much because these people like Fared Zachariah from CNN N and this guy right here, Rahm Emanuel, they will go on real time with Bill Maher, and they're just so much more real and they tell the truth about things because Bill Maher will call them out directly if they don't tell the truth.
So now these Democrats, people that literally work for CNN are having to call out Democrats for for ruining America and saying, "Yeah, actually, you're right. We didn't we we make it impossible for everybody to function because we're so worried about policing people's speech and cancelling people that say the wrong thing or don't have pronouns in their bio. But in fact, there's real issues out there that need real attention.
And now you know these people are are forced to admit that this is the case. People like Rahm Emanuel, people like Fared Zachariah. And that's why I like Bill Maher's show so much.
Let me know in the comments you guys think about what Bill Maher had to say to Fared Zachariah and Ram Emanuel. Let me know in the comments what you guys think about this whole Bill Maher versus Far Zachariah here situation on Real Time with Bill Maher.
