Krasinski's Mr. Fantastic Is An IDIOT (Illuminati RANT)

okay so it happened my worst nightmare realized john krasinski showed up as reed richards in multiverse of madness if you don't know me very well i have been completely against this casting for over two years i made a whole video on why i don't think he embodies the characteristics of mr fantastic so i'm not gonna go over all that again but i didn't want it don't want it never wanted it don't wanna see it but of course kevin feige caved to the fan demand and casted him and i don't think his performance was terrible he

wasn't great but he wasn't bad he delivered the lines in an okay way and maybe i'm just really starving for some good fantastic four but it was just nice to see reed his costume was cool and he had some decent dialogue even though when he was talking to strange about the incursion and everything it just sounded like jim halpert giving a speech to pam i still don't think he embodies reid he wasn't coming off as stoic and serious he just seemed bored plus it sounded like his voice was going out i don't know but let's

say that that's just my subjective opinion and i just don't like him in the role maybe you loved him okay fair enough i'm not gonna say you're wrong i've accepted that i'm not gonna change anyone's mind or convince you that he wasn't amazing god knows i've tried but this reed richards is stupid and krazynski actually wasn't the reason i hated this scene he didn't blow me away but it was reed being a dumb that made me hate it this is our first foray into the fantastic four in the mcu this is the time to establish

who this character is and give us an idea of what we can expect from the upcoming movie and mr fantastic gets shredded like grated cheese on a street taco wanda comes in and completely wipes out the illuminati and this in theory is not a bad idea but it's how they executed it mr fantastic is supposed to be the smartest man alive smarter than tony smarter than banner smarter than shuri smarter than everyone he's on another level he has invented so many powerful weapons and gadgets weapons that can destroy planets weapons that can alter the particles

in the air insane gadgets capable of altering matter and changing the fabric of reality he's taken on galactus dr doom annihilus neymar molecule man terrax the scrolls kang and he's won most of his battles he saves the universe on a constant basis his preparation is on the level of batman and his intellect usually exceeds him he even teleported into this scene with the gadget he invented so why didn't he use any of this in this fight scene why didn't he use his brain like at all he just saw wanda easily rip through their ultron bots

like butter and take blackbolt's mouth away from him she can clearly manipulate matter at will and she's not someone to take lightly and he just stretches his arm out to grab her that's it i thought he was supposed to be the smartest man in the universe tactical methodical brilliant but instead of using his brain he used his brawn first why didn't he have a backup plan for this why isn't this facility lined with the greatest cutting edge tech he didn't think to teleport away and make a plan he didn't think this through all reid richards

does is literally think things through he has a backup plan to his backup plan's backup plan he does use his powers of course but that's usually not his first thought he's always three steps ahead and he tries to win with his mind first and if you are going to attack her head on that's the best you got reaching out to grab her face you aren't gonna try to cover her like a blanket or stretch behind her to get a better advantage or wrap yourself around her like a water hose so that captain marvel can take

her out you aren't gonna use your teleporter you're not gonna set a trap for her he's supposed to be the leader of the fantastic four but the only thing he leads here is the illuminati to their imminent demise i understand having the confidence to take her on when you had black bolts but he just watched his mouthless lifeless body hit the ground at that moment reaching for her face is literally the worst option what the and while i loved seeing him be ripped apart like a pull apart twizzler i loved it i absolutely reveled in

it i actually cheered when he died even though i liked that i would have liked to have seen him put up a little bit of a fight we don't even get a full action scene with him he might sound smart but we don't get to see him do anything smart he can stretch and contort in so many different and interesting ways and he shouldn't have went out like this he died like an absolute baby back a moronic idiotic dumbass fuckboy and this whole scene is broken because of how inconsistent it is mr fantastic lasts exactly

eight seconds against wanda eight seconds captain carter lasts over 30 seconds with her a kind of strong person with a shield lasts longer in a fight with wanda than reed richards the smartest man alive who has basically ascended to god level intellect she shows that she can manipulate matter at will by taking away black bolts mouth and ripping reed into strips with her mind she can literally alter your matter and destroy you with a thought but she doesn't do this to captain carter or captain marvel for some reason why doesn't she rip peggy into a

million shreds why doesn't she turn her shield into a donkey or morph her hands into jelly beans why doesn't she just lift her off the ground and pop her head they have her annihilate the two most powerful members of the team like nothing then she has a problem defeating this team's version of hawkeye she manipulates matter against reed and blackbolt but she just shoots energy beams at captain carter absolute horseshit writing they had to write in a convoluted way to give her a fight with these characters now captain marvel makes more sense she's immensely powerful

and can handle herself but peggy i repeat peggy outshining reed richards was dog there's no excuse for it and not only that but they killed the two characters with the new and interesting powers and gave us a fight scene with two powers we've already seen 10 times i've seen people throw a shield i've seen people shoot energy beams give me an epic battle where black bolt is letting loose on her with his voice give me reed stretching and expanding i've never seen that before in the mcu show me the new and interesting powers show me

something different this film was so inventive and creative with the magic but it's like they didn't put any real thought into making this scene cool they just showed us reed and that's supposed to be good enough hey here's reed be happy no he has to feel like reed he could have avoided her blasts easily by contorting his body around them or maybe putting up a shield to block them but she didn't decide to do that with him she only shoots blasts at the people she needs to wanda's powers are inconsistent their powers are inconsistent reed

was stupid and while it was cool to see a version of the illuminati it was all wasted potential yeah it is just one multiversal scene and it's really inconsequential because we are gonna see reed again but it just left a bad taste in my mouth krazynski honestly didn't even get a chance to prove me wrong because the writing let him down please whoever wrote this script keep them far away from the fantastic four movie alright guys sound off in the comments and let me know if i'm being crazy here was i the only one who
