hear about the Looting tube because earlier Pasadena Police said we are not going to deal with that um if you come and do that there's going to be 100 I think they said 150 police officers securing these neighborhoods so well that's that's going to take some consequences for those people that think they can get away with doing that yeah to take advantage of those who are suffering and we see Mike Rogers there at the desk yeah Mike if you got some new video yeah I do and and forgive me well I'm looking down at my
screen here I'm just reading something the city of Santa Monica just sent and it kind of was in line with what we were talking about looting and all of those things um they just sent out a notice that they're instituting a curfew uh they have declared a local state of emergency in the city of Santa Monica and are uh instituting a nighttime curfew uh now I'm trying to see and that's I forgive you forgive me for not staring at the screen but I'm trying to read through this and see if they'll if they're giving times
uh for what that curfew is and the video that you're looking at right here is the video of the Palisades fire from our helicopter that is looking at it on the North End and from the San Fernando Valley so uh bear with me I'm going to continue to uh kind of look at this and then I will uh let you know what those if they list any times in the press release they don't immediately list them so I'm going through the actual text of the proclamation to see uh what they say but they are instituting
a state of emergency uh and they are uh issuing what they're calling nighttime curfews I don't know if that's just sun down to Sun up or uh how all that's working but yeah that's video from Sky Cal right now where you can see the fire is burning 15,800 Acres was the last update and I'm just trying to see you know I just had a conversation with calfire because I was trying to see if they had any updated uh numbers on uh destru uh homes destroyed or business or you know buildings destroyed and they're still sitting
around that 1,000 number as you can imagine it is just going to be an impossible task to try to get through and they will do it but uh you know everyone wants to know how many and that is just such a long arduous process to try to count every single building that has been damaged or destroyed uh and they haven't even put the fire out yet right
