Do you know there are men in their 50s on Tinder who have the audacity to say they're looking for short-term fun? You're serious? You're serious?
That won't accept me because I don't make enough money. You [snorts] know, I like hanging out with you, but I feel like we should we should just stay friends. That's crazy because I honestly feel the same way.
I just don't have a sexual attraction to you. I don't feel intimate about you, honestly. Really?
you. Not Not even a little bit. No, I think we make good friends.
I agree with you. So, that's that's good. Actually, since we're just friends, I want to show you this girl that I actually really like.
Oh, we we we look nothing alike. Yeah, she's bad. She's bad.
Yeah. Yeah. What would you do if I had a body count over 30?
What do you mean? What am I going to I'm still Would you not be with me? No.
What if I'm the love of your life? Oh, it's my eyes, isn't it? [laughter] In your It's a bit mad.
She's asking for money on our first date. Is my appointment at um 7:00 p. m.
I'm sorry, 6. Yeah, 7:00 p. m.
is my appointment cuz you know the week after I had surgery and I'm out of work for the next like month or two. So, all my babies need to help me. So you made an appointment.
Yeah. For a how do? Yeah.
Nobody go. And don't have the funds. Always pay and don't have paid time.
[laughter] That's smart. Do you That used to be work. I hear you.
It makes sense. Because I had to tell her and all I do is just cash up for the money. Yeah.
Hey, what I fig? Oh, so I got to cash out you something. Yeah.
My hair is like $25 cuz it's the pink line. I'm getting flat. So flat.
Yeah. I'm praying my surgery go well and I'm able to heal quickly and get rid of the gas like in my stomach and able [singing and music] to sip the water in a protein shake like I'm supposed to so I can go back to work in 3 weeks versus going back to work later. You know what I'm saying?
This man asked me on a date. He picked the place. He picked the time.
He picked the day. Okay. He picked the day.
700 p. m. At 4:45, I get a text message.
Now, mind you, before this, this entire day, I had no nails on. They was booty diggers. Okay?
I put I did my nails. I did my hair. I did my skin care.
I cooked dinner early. I got a babysitter. I told the school I was coming to pick my daughter up early so I could be at this date on time.
I picked my outfit, set it out, took a shower, deep clean, shave here, shave there. Why at 4:45 this man text me talking about, "Can we do tomorrow? " And I know some people are going to be like, "Oh my god, you should have some grace, this, that, and the third.
" Grace, this is why I don't pay y'all no mind. And on that note, now I'm about to take myself out on a date cuz ain't never stopped nothing. Full glam.
Babysitter booked, early school pickup, dinner cooked. She built an entire operation for this date and he canled two hours out with a casual what about tomorrow. That's not a reschedule.
That's a logistical betrayal. I'm about to take myself out on a date. Is the correct pivot though.
The nails are already done. Might as well use them. For what?
For the date we just had. I'm not about to keep keep feeding you like like you're my child or something like that. If you broke, just say that.
At some point, you got to come out your pocket, too. I don't know what you think this is. It's not feed the children.
And like, I don't got time for that. Oh, you got jokes. If you didn't had the money, then we didn't have to go.
You know how many guys would love to take me on a date and would love to pay and not ask for for their money back on a date? Yeah. Well, they're them and I'm me, so I I don't have nothing to do with that, but I know I'm not about to keep keep taking you on these dates, and you're not going to be coming out of pocket at all.
Oh, so that's how you were raised, huh? Uh, yeah. I guess you could say that.
All I know is that we need to talk about some reimbursement or you paying in the future. Reimbursement? Yeah.
You got me messed up, pack like you do. I'm not reimbursing you for anything. If you couldn't afford to take me out on a date, then I could have stayed home.
If I couldn't afford it, we wouldn't have went. But that's not When do you come out of pocket? When do you say, "Hey, I got this date.
" I don't come out of pocket. I will pay for dates, but let me ask you and plan the dates. Don't sit here and take me on a date.
How do you know if I even have 40 40 whatever dollars? How do you know I even have that? Cuz you wanted to come eat.
I don't know why you come to eat if you don't got no money. You ate? Yeah, I ate and you ate for my money.
That's what I'm trying to tell you. So, when do you come out of pocket? I'm not going to keep coming out of pocket every time.
You stingy. Single mom to reporting for duty on a dating diaries edition. So, it is Monday the 24th of August and I'm going on a date.
So, come with me. come with me for the prep. He's just done a video on it.
I've just seen it. I'm so excited. I have woken up with some friends though.
Well, I've had this friend all week now. He's got more friends at the other side. Typical.
I've had amazing two days off though. I've spent a lot of time with friends and family. And I've been really sociable for me.
But I've really enjoyed it and just a great way to finish off my few days this afternoon with Sheffield boy. Talk to me. I don't have nerves, which is unusual for me.
I just he didn't make me feel that way at all. So, I'm more I'm just excited like I just and he's been a long way with one thing and another. We're both single parents.
So, yeah, there's been loads of all the talking stage is talking, let me tell you. Like 5 hour conversations on a night like he's like, "Cas you do know we've been on phone for 3 hours, then another hour will pass. " I'm like, What is this?
Why have we still got stuff to talk about? So, yeah, I'm I'm going to get ready now, but I hope everyone has a lovely Monday, and I will let you know how it goes. We're on to part six of my divorce story, and I'm going to talk about the timeline in which everything happened and when I decided that I was done with my husband.
So, in one of my earlier videos, I had said that my husband and I were having a hard time and that we were sleeping in separate rooms and were pretty dis distant for some time. Now, I got a lot of people in the comments saying, "Well, what do you expect? Like, you were sleeping in separate rooms.
" Or, "Oh, yeah, like that's a dead giveaway sign that your marriage is over. " Okay, whatever. But listen, I didn't get married with the intention of giving up after we had a little bit of a hard time.
That's going to lead us to December 1st, our 10-year anniversary. So that was the night that we got into a really big fight and he told me that he is frustrated that I put my son above him and that he resents my son for that and doesn't love him and will never be able to love him in the way that I need him to. It was at that point that I knew I was done.
I kind of put my hands up. I said, "All right, well, like I love you, but that's kind of it for me. " 10 years your anniversary and this man looked at you and said he resents your child.
Sir, you didn't just fumble the night, you fumbled the whole marriage. She stuck it out through the separate rooms in the distance. And he picked the one night about commitment to announce he can't love her son.
That's not a fight. That's a resignation letter with a cake on the side. I love you.
But that's kind of it for me was honestly the most graceful exit anyone has ever given a man who handed her the door himself. Mom guilt is so real when you're dating as a single mom. But I want to let you guys know that it is okay to date.
All right. Until you are fully healed, go get that free meal. Make sure your intentions are clear with the other person and go get dressed up.
Go do it. Go get that free meal, sis. Enjoy yourself.
If you are introducing somebody to your children and they are at the age where they can fully understand what is going on, have that conversation with them. Talk to them about it. What does that look like?
And don't mention a name yet, baby. Just talk to them. What if I did, you know, start dating somebody?
How would you feel? And you could take whatever they say, you could take it and but make sure you are listening to your children. All right?
And obviously I've been through a separation and I have three kids and I met somebody amazing after the fact. And I had to have a conversation with my kids on how they actually felt about it. Make sure that person is as committed to you as you are to them.
As women, we kind of grasp onto this idea of what it would look like and this man and we capture the idea of the man inside of our heads and then we end up in situations where it doesn't last. It doesn't stick. And then next thing you know, our kids are going through another breakup.
And if the child is younger, make sure if you want to introduce somebody, make sure you introduce as a friend. Okay? So, whenever you're introducing as a friend, you don't hold hands.
You don't kiss. And this kid's going to be like, "Oh my gosh, we got a new friend. " But make sure that that person is going to stick around before you even introduce a friendship to your child.
You heard me. I know. I know it's scary.
And it is our right to have mom guilt. It is our right to be like, "Oh my gosh, I want to go, but I feel bad that I'm leaving my kids at home with a babysitter. " But you got to do it, sis.
How you going to meet somebody just sitting there? And lastly, it's not a race. You don't have to meet somebody right away.
It's going to feel lonely at times, and that is okay. You make sure that your mental state and your children's mental state can handle bringing somebody new inside of that door. Okay, that's my food for thought of the morning.
Any expectations for how much the ring should cost? No, she don't care about like Yeah, I'm not materialistic in prices. So, she's really more so a thoughtful girl.
Like, it's a thought, man. $1,500 ring would be just fine with you. No, don't [laughter] say no.
Don't show up. Don't say no. Cuz when when did anybody ever propose to you?
Nobody proposed to me yet. Exactly. So, why would a $1,500 ring mean anything?
[laughter] Very good question. Exactly. But that's what I expect.
No, that's what you expect. And it's because you're too picky. Okay.
Guess I'm too picky then. Yes, I know you too. Seems like you guys love each other very much.
Yeah, I love you so much. Like [laughter] like a ring doesn't matter. A ring doesn't matter.
Yeah, it don't matter. It matters in a certain aspect. Number [sighs and gasps] one, if you are a man who is feeling like you want to give up on dating, I think that actually dating is something that you should not be focusing on right now.
And with that being said, instead of looking at dating as this project that you either have to that you're either succeeding or failing at, I think you can be open to dating without actually pursuing dating. And what I mean by that is all that time that you're spending on dating apps, on scrolling through profiles, on reaching out to women, initiating contact, planning the dates, pursuing the woman, I think all that is great. But if you are in this headsp space where you feel like you are giving up and you're hopeless, I think actually you should take all of that time and energy and effort that you're spending on trying to get a woman and pour all of that back onto yourself.
Now, let me get this straight. If you're ready to give up on dating, the advice is to stop dating, but also stay open to dating without actually pursuing dating. Sir, that's not a strategy.
That's a horoscope. He told men to stop swiping, stop messaging, stop planning dates, and then call it pouring into yourself, which to be fair is the one thing we've been begging men to do for years. The bar is so low that go work on yourself sounds like a revolutionary idea.
And listen, he's not wrong. A man who's hopeless and bitter on a first date is not a catch. He's a podcast about to happen.
So take the break, go to therapy, hit the gym, get a hobby that isn't complaining, and then come back. We'll be here with our standards intact. It's the matri Yeah.
It's the matrix of like finding a woman. You only get to pick two. So you've got the triangle, you've got hot at the top, you've got sane, and then you've got single.
Yeah. Okay. You only get to pick two.
Okay. So, so basically, if she's hot and she's sane, then she's definitely not single. [laughter] If she's hot and she's single, she's definitely not sane.
This is the best tricks I've ever seen. And if she's sane [music] and she's single, well, she's definitely not high. [laughter] Honestly, I feel like I have no other choice.
I'm I'm at an end right now. And I don't know what to do. I don't know what the to do.
[laughter] Oh my god. Single mom. I'm a single mom of two boys.
Um, now I'm at a point where I'm really struggling. [laughter] I'm really struggling. And honestly, I'm trying hard.
I'm crying and I'm laughing because I genuinely genuinely like don't know what else to do. Like don't know what else to do. I've been out of work for about a month because I I I because of my child care.
Honestly, it's a long story, but I need help. I need help. I literally like I'm messaging my landlord right now because I still owe him money from my last month's rent and I don't go back to work till the 27th of this month, which is not enough time for me to make up and make the money for my rent for next month.
And I'm still behind on last month. I don't have a car. The car that I had that I had was taken away from me.
It was given to me as a gift and was taken away by the same people that gave it to me. Um, honestly, I'm not like I don't I'm not asking for charity. Like, if you can I have digital ebooks like I have I have products that I sell.
I have a I have a faith over fear brand. Um, so charity I do also have a GoFundMe. Um, charity.
Even if you can't um help with none of those, um, sharing the video does help, too. Um, honestly, like I [laughter and gasps] I I don't know what else to do. Like I I really don't I truly don't.
And there I feel like the pros outweigh the cons because I couldn't even date a girl without a kid right now if I was single. No, bro. Cuz it's like when a girl without a kid is too um it's too much of a risk cuz you don't know how she going to be when you have a kid with her.
Got you. If you I've already see how you if you got a kid, I can see how you treat your baby daddy. Okay.
You got him on child support. No, but he paid me under the table. Ding ding ding.
Okay. What's going [laughter] Okay. You got You feel what I'm saying?
I'm going through all the checklist. Who? Who?
Pick up your I cannot stand a man who thinks he can date a single mother and tell them kids what to do. No sir. I'm a single mother of a boy and I don't need you coming over here telling him to sit down and be quiet and go to bed.
None of that. But you can buy him something. Go buy him a toy.
How How you going to sit up here and try to tell my son what to do when he been around longer than you have? [clears throat] You coming into our space, go buy him a toy. Go buy him some McDonald's.
Teach him how to throw a football. But thinking you fa to come over here bossing somebody around. No sir.
Sir, you've known this child for 6 weeks and you're already running his bedtime. You're not the stepdad. You're a guest star.
The boy has seniority and he's been on this team longer than you've been on the roster. Your job description is simple. McDonald's, a football in a backyard, maybe a toy on a good day.
That's it. You want to be the authority? Earn it first.
Until then, sit down, be quiet, and eat your nuggets. An 18-year-old boy just asked me for my phone number. And I was like, "Honey, I'm 43 years old.
" And he was like, "Okay, well, can I get your email then? " And you know what? I might be ran through, but at least I let you hit on the first date so you don't have to go complaining, "Oh my god, I spent money on her and I didn't even get.
" You did? Good for you, man. No.
Do you have a boyfriend? No. I'm single.
Please. If you had a boyfriend and you met your celebrity crush, would you cheat on them with your celebrity crush? Yeah.
I don't think that's going to get you a boyfriend. So, this is the second housing place that won't accept me because I don't make enough money. [snorts] I feel so defeated right now, y'all.
I'm having to move out of my current house because I cannot afford to live here and I'm trying to find something to where I can go back to school and I can maintain school, work, and having two kids [snorts] and I'm trying to get accepted into government housing. But the past two times that I have, they literally tell me that I'm not making enough and that I have to wait around on a second assistance, which is rental assistance, which could be up to a year wait. Hey, do you mind if we like order food to go for my kids?
How many kids you have? Uh, four. I mean, no.
No. Oh, okay. What are you doing?
I I ran out I ran out of ketchup at home. Oh, and salt. And Okay, that's up.
Who? Who are you calling? I'm just going to call my son.
Hey, honey. Yeah, I know you're hungry, but you said no. So, I think you're going to have to like go to sleep hungry.
Can you look out for me? I This is actually really nice. Matter of fact.
Yeah, that's perfect. When are things going to go back to where you can work and support your family withouting stressing out? Seriously, my bills alone are $3,000 a month.
I'm a single mom who receives like $300 a month in child support for two kids. I can't do this anymore. I work every single day.
I get maybe a day off. Sometimes if I'm lucky, I'll get two days off. I'm sick of it.
I'm so sick of this. And Iinging forgot to pay my daughter's braces. And now I have to bring her in for them to remove them because I can't afford to pay it all off at once.
I am so sick of this country. I'm so sick of how expensive everything is. Something needs to happen.
Where I live, rent is insane. A twobedroom is two grand. I can't go to the grocery store and get a week's worth of groceries without spending $300, $400.
Gas alone, almost $4 a gallon. I have to drive all over my town for my job because I clean houses. I'm so sick of it.
Something needs to be done. Something these prices are insane. It's ridiculous.
Nobody can survive like this. Especially if you're alone, you're single, you can't like, do I have to get a roommate and rent out my son's room and move him in my room? Like, this country sucks.
It sucks. I'm sick of it. And I'm tired, God.
And I'm pissed. It's venting. Ma'am said $300 a month in child support for two kids.
That's not support, that's a tip. Meanwhile, groceries are $400 for a week of food that fits in four bags. A twobedroom costs two grand.
And gas is almost $4 a gallon, so she can drive around cleaning other people's houses. She works every single day, gets maybe one day off, and the braces company is still calling her about a payment plan. The economy really looked at a single mom and said, "Let's see how much she can carry.
" Babe, you're not failing. The math is. And no, you should not have to rent out your son's room to survive.
Venting is valid. And honestly, someone needs to put these prices on trial. I'm so sorry to do this to you again, but do you mind if I just crash out just one more time?
Just real quick. Thank you so much. So, this is a PSA for all the bum, especially my baby daddy's big bird lookinging girlfriend.
If you're going to date somebody who has a child, you're going to need to give a about the child. I know that's a crazy concept, right? Absolutely insane.
But in fact, you're actually going to need to put that child first all of theing time. And if you can't handle that, then you probably shouldn't date somebody with who has children. And you also probably shouldn't be trying to actively have a child with that person, you selfish So anyways, my son, who's 5 years old, six years old today, actually just turned six, um, wanted to talk to his father last week.
So we give we give his father a call, right? And why do I hear a bum ass in the background talking about it has been over 2 minutes. Pissed off.
This man's on the phone with his 5-year-old son who he sees one day out of the week. You selfishing What is wrong with you? What's worse is that I got to see this at my son's birthday party this weekend.
Yeah. And then last year she was acting goofy as hell at my son's birthday party. This is my first impression of her.
She tried to stand in the background of my son's pictures while he was opening gifts. Yeah. Yeah.
Which is it, Do you want my son to not exist or are you trying to take my place? Pick one. And then she starts tonging down my baby daddy in front of all the 5-year-olds.
We're at a 5-year-old's birthday party. You weird. Nobody wants your man.
In fact, although I know he lied to you and told you that he left me because he's a narcissist and a piece. It's actually the other way around. I didn't want his ass no more, right?
And then when he begged for me back over and over again, I told him no. Isn't that funny? And then when I wouldn't do that, he begged to be friends.
Even if it's a dick when I turn him down, that that's when he chose your bh. Isn't that so funny? Hilarious.
So anyways, the whole reason that my son only gets to see his father one day a week is because this despite the fact that she doesn't make that money, that much money or have a very good job. Comments like this literally have me furious because if anything, when you have children, you have to have higher standards because you're not just dating for yourself, you're dating for your kids, too. And if that person's not like amazing, why would you want them in your children's life?
Like if they're not amazing for me, they're not going to be amazing for my kids. I do not want them in either of our lives. And like people saying this sort of stuff is like like like that.
You got some sort of less value. Women out there that will walk away from a good man talking about he wanted to go half on rent. He wanted to go half on like you know how fatuous and in name that is to say he wanted to go half.
First of all, you are responsible for 100% of your life as an adult. 100% of your problems, 100% of your bills, 100% of your stress, and you mean to tell me you had a man right there like, "I'll take half of that from you. " And you was like, "That ain't good enough.
I want you to take it all. I don't want to have no responsibility as an adult. " And that is financial abuse and that is feminine manipulation and abuse.
Appreciate you for taking me out on the day. I'm sorry I had to have all my kids come, but Golden Corral was the best place that we all could eat for a good price cuz I ain't want to burn up your pockets on the first day. I got too many kids.
I can leave them kids at the house while I'm getting no free meal. I had to bring them out with me. Sorry.
I had this thing on my shirt and all the goddamn kids on me. I'm trying to get ready. What?
What? Baby, Trying to get a stepdad here. You like the kids?
How you feeling about? What? Sh.
I'm on a date. I can't have nothing. I can't have nothing.
After I said I would require a deposit to take me on a date to cover my date preparation costs, I'm now working with an app developer to make this a reality, this is actually happening. We are building the app. I'm not even exaggerating when I tell you this is the best damn dating app you have ever seen because there is a clear difference here where the woman can set the deposit rate and the man can pay for her date preparation cost.
So, as a woman, you're going to walk into the date already so happy, and that's going to lead to a better date and a better connection, and that gives the man a better chance of succeeding in courting you. The app is called Corded. So, when people ask how did you meet, you can say, "He courted me.
" So cute. So, the app is called Corded, where you pay a deposit before the date. And her date preparation costs are the product.
Ma'am, that's not a dating app. That's a cover charge with a camel dinner attached. And listen, the nails were already done, so the invoice is basically just honesty.
But the pitch is wild. He courted me, she says after he Vinmoed her for a blowout. Somewhere a man is paying $75 to find out she's already ordered the appetizer.
Goo? Sure. Subscription model.
Absolutely. Been waiting for seven years. You're going on a golf trip with my dad.
We have a joint bank account. We've been living together for three years. We have a dog and you say we're just friends.
Uh yeah, that's what I told them. Do you guys want to split this? No.
No. Godamn. I'm not going to fake.
I'm lowkey tired. I think I'm just about to leave. I'm about to leave.
Do it. Do it. Do it.
So you don't care if I leave? If you want to leave, I'm not going to hold you back cuz we just always arguing. I'm about to just leave.
If you want to leave, leave. Like, if I don't let you leave, that's kidnapping. And I'm no kidnapper.
Goodbye. All right. Then unlock the door.
I do. Hold on. No, no, no.
Don't even touch it. I'll do you one better. I I'll open it, too.
I'll open it. Are you for real right now? Yes.
What's wrong with you? I just told you I'm about to leave and you just don't care. If you want to leave, jump.
Leap. Froggy. Leap.
You want to scadaddle? Go. I'mma watch you leave.
You for real right now? Are you for real? This is what you wanted to do.
But you're supposed to care. You act like you don't even care. So, at first I was kind of like everyone else where I was like a cute but then I was like something seems off suspicious.
So I went to his profile and everything every single video he's made is a POV. You're dating a single mom. So you know what that means?
That means someone's fetishizing us again. Gross red flag for you and a woman. red flag if she's super negative.
A negative mindset. Oh, I hate it. Oh, and also someone like a you know that there's this I don't know it's like a trend now like as he should.
Oh, I hate this. Like yes, I should take you on a date and I should pay for you and all these things like this, but you shouldn't be also having the mindset of like yeah, you should be doing that. So that's bare minimum.
Like Elijah, what be Let's be like be Let's I don't know. Let's be modern. Let's be modern.
Let's be a little bit more like appreciative. appreciative. Let me get you a coffee.
Let me get your coffee. No. No.
No. Asking too much. I'm not asking too much.
I'm asking for some something that are completely normal. I'm going to date a guy who makes $250,000 a year minimum. Why?
Because I'm an independent woman. The level of men that I that I deal with on all the time, they are at that level. I'm not asking for anything outrageous.
Because that is the level that I that I live. What you think that every woman or or every man have a lowquality experience and for that reason everybody just stick to that standard. You think that I'm asking too much.
I'm not asking too much. I'm asking for something something that are completely normal within my range. I think all men are tens.
And we got to know our value. We got to know our worth. And if these girls don't recognize our value, then they don't know what they're missing out on because I am a 10.
That's right. I said it. 10 out of 10 body.
You see this? This is the ideal male physique. Any woman who says otherwise, wrong.
I got news for you, Brian. You're a man. Men are supposed to be hunters.
Men are the one who go after women. It's not the other way around. Ma'am said $250,000 minimum because it's completely normal within a range.
Babe, that's not a range. That's a gated community. And then the clip flips and a man announces he's a 10, shows us the ideal male physique, and tells a guy named Brian to go hunt.
Sir, hunters don't need a hype man. Everybody in this video has a standard, a mirror, and zero receipts. Know your worth?
Sure, but check the bank statement before you read out loud.
