so you're getting your home inspected here are some quick tips to make sure it goes as smoothly as possible so you're getting your home inspected the first thing is to make sure the electricity is on in the water zone if you have gas that you have to guess the reason is that the inspectors gonna want to inspect all the things that are associated with it the other thing you want to do is make sure that if you have a crawlspace underneath the house or if you have attic access that those areas are clear and so
the inspector can access those another thing you want to do is change out your filters and your a/c system makes you have a nice clean filter in there because he will be inspecting the a/c system and a dirty filter is like the first thing that he'll put on the report and if we can avoid that obviously that's good if you have any obvious things maybe there's a toilet running maybe you have a leaky sink that you've been meaning to get to if you can get a lot of those little things done before the inspection it
just makes for a better feel when the inspector gets there right like if a buyer gets a laundry list of small things that never is good for further negotiations when we move to that stage but on the same hand I don't want you to over worry about the inspection there's only so much you can do about your house your house is what it is the inspectors gonna find what they find so the main thing is just make sure utilities are on make sure that places that they need to access are accessible and cleared of any
furniture or anything else that may be in the way and then changing your filters and doing the little things that you feel you're comfortable doing don't overdo it don't worry about it we'll get through the inspection and we will take it from there so give me a call if you have any worries or issues [Music]
