How can we seize great opportunities? And son, daughter, what greater opportunity is there than the seed of God's word, which, once sown in your heart, tends to bear abundant fruit, 30, 60, 100 times what was sown? In today's Gospel, Jesus invites us precisely to implore the help of the Holy Spirit so that we do not miss great opportunities, the opportunity to welcome the word of God, to live the word of God, and therefore to enter into the ranks of those who are happy, who are blessed.
Welcome to this daily meditation on the word of God. This daily bread of the word that nourishes us, that strengthens you, that feeds you, that invigorates you. Let us go to the Gospel.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Come, Holy Spirit, come through the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, your most beloved spouse.
Gospel according to Saint Mark, chapter 4, verses 1 to 20. At that time, Jesus began to teach again by the Sea of Galilee. A very large crowd gathered around him, so Jesus got into a boat and sat down, while the crowd remained on the shore.
Jesus taught them many things in parables, and in his teaching he said to them, “Listen. ” A sower went out to sow. As he sowed, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up.
Other seed fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, since it had no depth of soil. But when the sun rose, it was scorched, and since it had no root, it withered away.
Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked it, and it did not produce a crop. Other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop that grew up and increased and yielded thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times what was sown. Then Jesus said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.
” When he was alone, those who were with him, along with the Twelve, asked him about the parables. Jesus said to them, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. But to those outside, everything is in parables, so that they may pray but not see, and hear but not understand; lest they should turn and be forgiven.
” And he said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? A sower went out.
The sower sows the word. Those along the path are the ones in whom the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.
Likewise, those sown on rocky ground are the ones who hear the word and at once receive it with joy. But since they have no root in themselves, they endure only for a while. When tribulation or persecution comes because of the word, immediately they fall away.
Others receive the seed among thorns. Those who hear the word, but the worries of this world, the deceitfulness of wealth and other desires choke the word, making it unfruitful. But those sown on good soil are those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit—some thirtyfold, some sixtyfold, and some a hundredfold.
The word of salvation. Glory to you, Lord. My dear ones, look at the multitude, thousands and thousands of people who come here to receive, to meditate daily on the word of God.
Now, of all this multitude, how many receive this word on good soil? And that is what I want to wish you today, that you receive this word in the good soil of your heart so that it may bear much fruit. See, a multitude hears the same word.
How good that Jesus is explaining this parable to me and to you today. Many heard but did not receive the explanation and could not understand it because of the hardness of their hearts. But today the Lord, in such a merciful way, sits with me and with you and explains the parable to us.
He truly believes that in my heart and in yours there is the possibility of receiving this word, and then bearing fruit. But as I was saying, a multitude, but why don't all manage to bear fruit? Because it's not enough just to hear.
The word of God will also exhort us at a certain point about this. Don't listen as mere listeners, as distracted listeners, no, but with a desire to live this word, you know? To savor this word, to ruminate on this word, to receive this word.
Remember what I was talking to you about yesterday. You who missed the daily meditation on the word. Yesterday, remember, don't miss receiving God's word.
It's a daily dose of strengthening. It's a word that orders our entire day. And that's what we were talking about just before the word became flesh in the womb of Our Lady.
Pay close attention to this. Before the word became flesh, in the purest womb of the Virgin Mary, this word was received into her heart. Remember, she said yes.
So, for this word to also become flesh in our lives, bringing us healing, liberation, joy, happiness, ordering our entire lives, snatching us from the power of darkness, from all oppression of evil, freeing our families from the clutches of the enemy, it is necessary that this word be received. What does that mean? Observed.
It is necessary to say yes. And this word shapes us every day. This word shapes us every day.
Look, you and I, we cannot be among these distracted listeners. A multitude here is listening to the word, but not all are receiving it. There are those who even hear, they listen, but Satan takes away the word that was sown.
They hear, they listen, but the enemy comes and steals the seed. They are on the edge of the path. They are on the edge of the path.
They don't make a firm decision in their hearts. There are also those who even receive the seed, but the soil of their hearts is stony, that is, it has no root, they are inconstant, they even praise, they even proclaim that Jesus is Lord, but when tribulation or persecution comes because of this word, they give up. And how many times does this persecution come from afar, from within the home?
In a way, whether disguised or explicit, tribulation comes, persecution because of the word, and we quickly give up. That is the stony ground. Those who are inconstant, ask the Lord in your prayer today for the grace of constancy in faith, to resist the evil days.
I even have a sermon on this channel that I share with you, the only way to resist bad days. A beautiful sermon. I'll leave the link here so you can listen to it while you're busy.
It's really worth it. Exactly. So that we can maintain this consistency.
But look, there are others who even receive the seed, but it falls among thorns. That is, the worries of the world, the illusion of wealth, desires, disordered passions, all of this chokes the word. But you and I, we need to be among those who receive the seed on good soil.
That's why every day you and I invoke the Holy Spirit. Because the dry ground of my and your heart needs to be watered by the Holy Spirit of God. Every day, in the midst of your tasks, and many times.
Implore the Holy Spirit. Come, Holy Spirit, come, O living water, come, O consuming fire, come, O gentle breeze, come, Holy Spirit, precisely to cultivate the soil of our hearts. Because once that seed falls on good soil, the word will say, it will bear fruit 30, 60, 100 times what was sown.
It will bear fruit, it will produce fruit, and it is the fruit of holiness, you know? These are choices for holiness. We are a true miracle, son, daughter.
We are a true miracle because everything, everything was set up around us. And I share this a lot with young people. When I see a young person enter the church, when I see a young person there in the prayer group, and today I extend this to you as well, the upbringing we receive so often, whether in school, at university, is not what we see in the media, in the mainstream media, so many who received an upbringing, yes, sometimes inadequate, and everything was set up so that we would fail, but we succeeded.
And this great news, beyond everything, right, beyond all expectations, we are here imploring God's grace, God's mercy against the terror of Satan. We are here seeking the word. We are here seeking to live the word.
We are here because we love the Lord and even with all our weaknesses, deficiencies, miseries, we want this heaven for ourselves and for our family. Isn't that right? Write here in the comments: "I want heaven for me, for my family.
" I want heaven for me, for my family. And we will not give up. That is why the beauty of the army of Saint Michael, the beauty of being part of this family of prayer, praying for one another, the support that we often don't even have at home, But in this spiritual family, we have one interceding for the others, interceding for each other's battles.

Truly believe, write: "I want heaven for myself and my family. " And make a firm decision. Let this word that was sown in the soil of your heart today bear fruit.
Do not allow it to be suffocated. Do not allow it to be uprooted by the enemy. Do not allow discouragement to take hold.
Do not allow disordered passions to win. No, but by the strength and power of the Holy Spirit. May this seed take root in the good soil of your heart and bear fruit.
And may you then reap the joy, peace, love, and happiness that this word brings us every day. Look, I feel immensely happy to be with you in this daily meditation on the word of God, to see you strengthening yourself each day, growing each day, maturing spiritually each day. Blessed be God for all this.
To Him all honor, all glory. The word that one day reached me and transformed me, today reaches you and transforms you. This is what we are called to live each day.
Amen. We commend ourselves with great faith to the Blessed Virgin Mary, by the power that God the Father granted her. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
