I have a problem when it comes to being consistent on prayers. How can I overcome it? All right.
You see, first prayer is a skill before it becomes a gift and you sharpen it. Most people quit prayer not because they don't love God but because they don't know what [music] to say after 5 minutes. So the first thing is you know just open the book of Psalms.
Start from Psalms chapter one. Don't just read it. Turn it into prayer.
says, "Lord, make me like tree planted by rivers. [music] Let my roots go deep. Remove me from ungodly counsel.
" Start from Psalms chapter one [music] and pray your way through the book. The Psalms train your vocabulary when you don't know what to say. The second thing, plan prayer like how you plan for work.
If it's not scheduled, it becomes emotional. Fix a time and protect it. Luke 4:16 Even Jesus had a custom [music] of going to pray.
Consistency is rarely spontaneous.
