speaking of being on the board J did you see the picture that uh hit the internet from Detroit Lions all their code wordss uh oh uhoh how often are teams going to try to even start learning those and then now because they're out there mcdc knows they're out there other teams know that mcdc knows that they're out there are they they're definitely going to change them right well or are they not going to change or they gonna make words mean something different it's like I think this information is obviously vital to Some Humans somewhere but
I think actual outcome of game or playing do you think it'll change anything in this particular game tomorrow night well I mean truthfully if you have any good coaching staff scouting Department Etc at all you would already have 70 to 75% of those words like you you should already know that from watching film from watching T copies from listening to the TV copies so a lot of that shouldn't be a surprise it should be more of a confirmation for a lot of teams um so I I don't think it's anything groundbreaking it's not like they're
going to lose a game simply because of this like I said it's more concerning if a team didn't have any of these then if a team is sitting and if a team sitting there like oh my God we finally got it then your scotting department sucks all right we finally got the we got the words on the allons it's like well Jared goff's been screaming him into a damn mic all season long foxy how's everybody reacting in Detroit about this Jamir Gibbs hell of a football player yeah everyone was freaking out at first but at
the end of the day you know how MC DC is they're going to execute and you got to stop them and even if you know the plays it's going to be tough to stop no matter what best offense in football so I don't think anyone's worried about it I know mcdc is not worried about kind of interesting I love how he handled it because he publicly backed his dude like he publicly was like this is not a big deal but I mean had to have ripped him privately because like that's still it still is something
where you're like dude like come on come on buddy did you think at all did you did you even it's a hilarious background that's not like a little bit like they might be able that is very clear yeah as somebody who potentially had a background situation in a football stadium uh happen with a picture and post it I can see how this can happen you know just got to be a little bit more careful got to be a little bit more careful now with that being said it might end up helping them because if people
spend time trying to learn all this and then they can't remember them are they wasting time doing something else it's like the Michigan thing you know it's funny that's happening with the lions with Michigan being it like you have a Connor stallion who can potentially start putting why the code words or what the code words are you know but then you can even switch those like well they're using geography for these particular sets so if you hear something but all it takes is one word to invert those things yeah you might I mean as a
defense it may be like one thing that you may get maybe two that you maybe jump a player concept but they change those code words every week sometimes between quarters quarterbacks I had their Cod works with the receivers or whatnot and it's something things that [ __ ] I'm sure Brady probably did for 20 years probably saying the same [ __ ] protection wise you know you hear LA or New York like it's not like you know rocket science so end of the day you got to execute and if you're out there trying to figure
okay and some quality control guys some guys usually get up there and have a book and you know you listen to the TV copy you hear certain things you definitely keep in your back pocket but I mean you got to you got to execute you got to communicate do your job and aren't you if you do catch on to something you're trying to make sure that they don't find out that you're catching on either right like during covid years I think that was a big like people said they could Ben rothberger telling the wide receiver
what route to run and Corners were just like I'm act like I didn't that is that is that real right now it's it's interesting like information too much information and then what's going a different way I remember pton we're uh playing the Raiders I think and uh it's the end of the game four minutes Dr type situation and pton makes a check at the line or whatever D lineman was with the Colts before so he knew exactly what was supposed to happen so he starts screaming and Payton's like less than a foot away from him
he's D lineman he starts pointing and screaming it's going right here they're going this way they're going this way so Payton can hear him obviously doing that and he's like yeah the guy was right or so he he just doesn't hand it off to I think Dominic rhods was our running back at the time pulls it from him without domy just continues to run it their entire defense collaps on the same and Peyton's just doing his little Scamper down the left side I think he even slid I don't even think he scored or whatever and
afterwards obviously h and Jeff they all told the story about like hey the guy [ __ ] did know though like that is something we should we should think about in this entire thing but uh the guy told pton that he knew so it was like uh just wait like three seconds yeah hold those cards Johnson just said it about ran you know him calling out plays we all know remember that clip with um cam cam cam and I think it was Clay Clay Matthews who was like oh okay you think you got this [
__ ] okay I got something for you so yeah you you definitely pick up on certain things but I mean you got at the end of the day you still got to execute do your job oh
