year in like March or April we sat together and we made the goal also we checked like okay what's needed to reach this goal and we went after it we purchased the inventory for it and of course it's a huge huge number that we will hit today but it's not about that it's about that we buildt out a company that is capable to do such numbers and that's something that we will be really proud of if it happens today you know because a number is just a number and of course you can look at that number once you reach it and be like ah this is sick but it's not about it it's about what's needed to it's about doing exactly that what no one ever thought you would do it's doing exactly the opposite of what all these Nays say start like oh it's just a Drp Shipping Store I can is not a real brand oh it won't last that's were all the things people said in the beginning and you know what it did it only made me more hungry it only made my brother more hungry because we are fueled by by by doubs we are fueled by people saying you can't do this stuff and that's why we have raised the bar year and year over and over again that's why we strive for excellence that's why our departments are this strong that's why we test so much more than competitors that's why going into 2025 you will see a complete new icon again at a higher level because that's what we demand and the last thing that I will accept retargeting and advertising yeah the password for our website the people that are on the F list we did 409k in Revenue crazy 66 R just because of course we don't have much X at spent and then 250k in net profit almost 3,000 orders so overall very happy and pleased how it went yesterday I'm overall I'm happy when I look at what we've done we could have done it better for sure we could have built more hype because yesterday was a hype day so if everyone has fomo everyone is on their toes to buy an icon because they have a password they have the biggest sale ever I just think we could have played it a bit better together with the team who are in charge of the overall messaging but that's also something that the part of the learning process of the team you know I know how to look at things my brother knows how to look at things we have a team that needs to execute upon it and for them it's a journey as well but the website didn't crash down uh we were able to uh do like what was it 100K in just 30 minutes which also a new record so I think the mistake that we made this year is uh we were trying to get lead worldwide so also a lot of leads in America so I think we got like 12,000 leads in America and those leads were less performing than expected the leads that performed the best were the ones for example in the Netherlands Germany and the UK where we already a bit bigger so that's a lesson that we have for last year that you really want to get like leads in the countries that you already are very established and where people already know the brand but yeah we learn from it those are just some small things but as a whole Nothing in life is perfect and we did very [ __ ] good very good and yeah mostly hyped for today but the overall feeling is very positive very positive and and we're calm I'm happy with that because it has been different too we've had days where we were stressed out cortisol levels through the roof because everything is either crashing day yeah but we just send like every two two three hours an email just if the performance is good we keep sending so for example if somebody has their own brand what's the tip you would give them for the email marketing regarding with sales periods like Black Friday stay consistent and come up with every time new ideas and New Concepts especially with New Deals what you always do good is like a clear headline good call to action straight away some people they put way too much text and then the call to action all the way at the bottom but people are on their phone they need to instantly be able to click the TT no nobody reads it actually so just call to action and the offer so SS life offer very clear with some spacing uh with it and uh yeah exactly and what's next to that's very important with the sales period like Black Friday you really want to see emails as ads you know you don't want to think like okay somebody goes to their email opens it reads it no you want to see those ads ads you can also resend multiple times a day because ads is just like okay it pops up in my Instagram and then maybe I will click on it but also a lot of people see your ad but don't go directly to your website but have your brand in your head and then later at the day I know there we advertising so let's go to the website and then directly purchase it instead of through email that's why you want to keep sending out emails so people have for example notifications pop up in the phone they want to create awareness uh a lot with email and that's what we do with Black Friday so we we doing a million in a day and uh the plan was basically already made that year or that moment to do these numbers this year how did that feel for you to not hit it can't I can't lie it was it was a bit of a mixed feelings because the initial goal was to do a half a million uh on on that on that day but the results were so good on the FP day that we were like we can do a million and basically we could do it so overnight we basically changed the target to million in a day and then we did not hit it so even though we did huge numbers a lot of stuff went wrong so um happy but not satisfied that bestsellers we didn't shot it the fenna shoot we did in September so right now check okay where's the item and how we can get it shot ASAP to still get it launched as soon as possible as the stock is already in but we don't have yet the content for it to Launch now also probably photoshopping the images and I'm checking with some creators if they can shoot it on on a shortterm basis to still get the content in very quickly so that's currently what I'm working on I'm managing the website with those two amazing guys and we are just making sure that everything is up and running nothing is breaking during these high traffic days yeah and that's it we just need to keep the collections maintained always up to date most of our contribution was before the sale started the past few weeks have been quite intense setting the store upot pressure and yeah making sure that the store looks absolutely neat and user friendly how important would you say to have somebody that takes care of this tasks in house oh super important if if you look around every every brand has inh house e-commerce and it's super important to have merchandising also in house it makes everything a lot uh smoother and um easier you don't depend on anybody you don't depend on an agency and doing these numbers you don't want to dependent on anybody you just want to have everything under your own control speed is crucial yeah speed is crucial for sure as you saw we're now around 100K performance is a little bit off compared to last year when I compare it in the first hour we did a bit more it's not a big problem because at the end of the day the most important thing is how the ad perform during the day so we just have High Hopes the rest of the day the performance will go up and Peak a isue you never know how things will go we will see you know we did everything that we can there was a few small issues could be better for example with sending out SMS yest today building a bit more high but it is what it is so we will see what do they [Music] bring so guys Sals is going all right so far uh beginning started quite slow slower than we expected but now it's picking up again the last hour we around 40% higher in Revenue as last year so hopefully we can bring that to like 50 60% and then I think we will hit the arget of 1 million for sure and what's very important with this is on a day certain items we put more discount maybe we can change some ads up we can do things differently and then you see that we can switch up on the whole day and still hit our Target you know so never be that's why yeah because in 60 you can put a lot of products Facebook is still not spending what we want so that's a bit [ __ ] because if we now look at the performance we will be I think tonight at 12 around 800k and that's just [ __ ] [ __ ] because for the ad span that we put down we could do easy 1.
