Well welcome again friends to our Christian Life and Ministry meeting what we have in store for us tonight well tonight we're looking our Bible readings taken from Psalm 109 through to 112 so there's quite a few points that we'll pick up from this we think about our Treasures from God's word and the theme there is support Jesus the king so we could ask the question or the question will be answered in what ways Can we willingly offer ourself to support Jesus rulership so look out for some areas that we can do that when it comes
to apply yourself to the field Ministry there's an interesting talk there explain your beliefs why don't Jehovah's Witnesses go to war there's four areas that it covers there so look out for the those points as well and then in our living as Christians we have the part how can we loyally support the kingdom and again This is a discussion so it's an ample opportunity for us to have a comment particularly to highlight some scriptures that will answer the uh questions that are posed there and then finally in our congregation Bible study what can we learn
from the speech that Paul gave as he s stood in the midst of the areopagus so we can look forward to finding an answer to that as well well let's invite brother baret now Back to the platform and to handle the treasures from God's word talk support Jesus the king thanks brother bnet Solutions as we look around the world today we see an unending search for Solutions that solutions to to the problems and sufferings that have plagued mankind for centuries human efforts have taken on many forms science technology education even government interventions yet despite the
best of Intentions nothing seems to change and it's no secret much of the fault lies directly at the feet of human rers think about it we've all seen them come and go and have you noticed a certain patn first come the big promises a politician promises that he has new solutions to all of the old problems and do many put trust in such promises yes they do perhaps hoping that this time it'll be different this time the promises will be kept but what inevitably follows through Is Disappointment promises trust disappointment now that is the history
of human rulership so where does that leave us do we just throw our hands up in the air become cynics believe no one trust no one just make sure what we we get what we need for ourselves and our families no all of us here have learned that there's a far better solution than that and that's why we're here tonight in the Kingdom Hall isn't it to support the kingdom Jehovah's government because In complete contrast to the disappointed hopes that result from Human rulerships we know Jesus Jesus never disappoints those who support him he always
proves true to his word we see that with the prophecies Jesus foretold about the last days everything he said would happen is happening down to the smallest detail including his word in Matthew 24:14 this good news of the Kingdom will be preached throughout the inhabited Earth but how could Jesus be so Confident that he'd be able to raise up an army of willing supporters in the last days a generation where people would be selfish lovers of themselves lovers of money puffed up with pride well we're going to answer that with our Treasures talk tonight so
let's look at our first scripture is up their Bibles up to Psalm 110 verse 1 and two where we read Jehovah declared to my Lord sit at my right hand until I place your eny as a stool for your feet Jehovah will extend the scepter of your power out of Zion saying go subduing in the midst of your enemies so we see there with that passage of scripture when Jesus returned to Heaven there would be a period of time where he would wait until he became king of God's government that was approximately 1900 years until
1914 which the Bible refers to as part of the appointed time s of the Nations which simply means the time when no human Ruler or king would represent Jehovah's sovereignty here on the earth so was that a period of inactivity for Jesus where he wasn't doing anything resting something like that no during that time Jesus was very active in ruling over his anointed followers his anointed congregation guiding them in their preaching and discipl making work as well as preparing them to rule with him in heaven it's interesting that when the appointed times of the Nations
ended in 1914 and Jesus was installed as king verse two says that he would uh go subduing in the midst of his enemies so he would have enemies opposing him at this time so who was the first enemy that Jesus subdued or defeated well it was the God of this system of thing Satan the devil yes when Jehovah placed his son as king of the Kingdom that infuriated the devil and immediately war broke out in heaven well what happened during that war well Satan and his Angels were defeated and as a result of their defeat
they were expelled from Heaven cast to the Earth and now this planet has become the Battle Ground well what happened as a result of that well the world entered into its darkest snow night Dreadful things started to happen World War I World War II we see Satan continues to wage his war and vent his anger against Jehovah's faithful worshippers on the earth with the sole purpose of silencing the good news Proclamation so how does he do it we're human he's a spirit how does he get his hands on us well he influences men of wicked
intent he uses human hours to try and stop the good news from being declared we see that playing out over and over again during the last century nevertheless Jesus was absolutely sure that he would have willing supporters in the last days so where did he get that confidence well he learned it from his father in his prehuman existence Jesus Observed firsthand that Jehovah had complete confidence in the Willing Spirit of his worshippers which we can see if we read our last verse in Psalm 110:3 Psalm 110:3 it says your people will offer themselves willingly on
the day of your military force in splended Holiness from the womb of the Dawn you have your company of young men just like Jew drops so you see more than a thousand years before Jesus was born Jehovah inspired King David to write This passage of scripture about the time when the Messiah would begin his Rule and he would do that at a time when enemies were opposing him but at the same time he would have an army of willing supporters volunteering they would not have to be forced into serving their King and we see in
verse three even the young men among them would offer themselves willingly becoming a multitude so great that they could be Compared to the Jew drops that carpet the ground in the morning sun now that's an interesting comparison because in Jehovah's word Jew is associated with blessing productivity and abundance JW drops are also gentle refreshing LIF staining and numerous and that is how Jehovah and Jesus view you friends you know Jehovah has entrusted each of us with natural gifts all of us have developed certain abilities and Talents throughout our lives and Jehovah expects us to use
these gifts in behalf of others in such a way that through us he can express his love and kindness imagine that Jehovah can use you as an instrument to express his love to someone in need but he leaves it up to us to take the initiative to see how generous we are with what he's already given us so what goals can we set to support the kingdom well if we can have our media up please Brothers if we look at our monitors we could ask ourselves do I look for opportunities to help others in my
congregation or work with them in the ministry if you're a brother are you reaching out to reach the scriptural qualifications for ministerial servant or Elder and for all of us do we volunteer to clean up at the Kingdom Hall or or to help in various ways at our conventions and assemblies could we periodically serve as an Auxiliary Pioneer or are we able to serve as a regular Pioneer or even help in a congregation where the need is greater so friends we ask the question would Jesus find an army of loyal supporters at the beginning of
our talk well look around you here at the Kingdom Hall look around the world at your brothers and sisters and you will see the answer is a resounding yes and we prove that we are seeking first the kingdom not just with words but with our Actions and a as a result we see firsthand how Jehovah blesses those who put the kingdom first it's true we can't all do the same we all have different circumstances however all of us can count it as a privilege to serve the kingdom H wh Soul the best to our ability
now what is one of the Kingdom's greatest accomplishments in the last days well over the last century our King has proved true to his word in Matthew 2014 and 24:14 and he has done so Without using any kind of coercion now that's something you can all be proud of friends after coming out of this selfish world where people are lovers of themselves you have willingly offered in obedience to Jesus Christ your whole heart soul strength mind your whole whole life to supporting your king allowing him to carry out one of his greatest accomplishments and that's
the preaching of the good news throughout the entire inhabited Earth before the End comes thanks brother Barnett for handling that for showing us some excellent ways that we can support Jesus in the kingdom and his position as the king some excellent things for us to think about maybe some goals that we can set well that now brings us to our spiritual gems which was highlighted was taken from Psalm 109 to 112 let's invite brother samuelu to take us through that we look forward to hear your nice Comment and your wonderful preparation our speech of jams
for this evening will be taken from Psalm 109 to 112 So before we ask our first question who would like to read our scripture thank you sister Ronnie yah has sown an oath and he will not change his mind you are a priest forever in the man manner of M sorry I can't say that word that's okay thank you for the fine reading Our first question explain the government described in this verse thank you sister yangin Hebrew chapter 7 points out that Jesus Christ since his resurrection and entry into heaven is a high priest according
to the man of m forever it is a covenant made by Jehovah with uh Jesus Christ alone and Jesus apparently refer to it when making a covenant for a kingdom with his followers so make served as a king and priest of God on Earth and by jaas o Jesus will continue serve as a king and priest Forever on our bef in the heaven in the manner of M thank you for the fine comments our sister the back there pleas joh it's a covenant made by Jehovah with Jesus Christ alone and um meis de was both
a king and a priest by the uh designation of the most high God and not by inheritance that's why it a p superiority over the aonic Priesthood thank you any other points thank you sister Maria yeah it ALS it also makes the point that Jehovah um Jesus will act under Jehovah's direction as king and high priest forever it's Hebrews chapter 7 verse3 highlights thank you for that yeah that pretty much sums up our first question so we move on to our second question what spiritual jams for this week's Bible reading would you like to share
thank you sister Jasmine Cox Psalms 10931 says that Jehovah will stand at the right hand of the poor and will save him um in ancient times a warrior would hold a shield on his left and a sword on his right which would leave this side unprotected so a soldier would fight at his right hand as a protector um for this vulnerable area so having this protection meant that the warrior was more confident and effective In battle so in a similar way to a literal Warrior we are all in a fight against Satan but Jehovah promises
to be at our right side and he knows that with his support we can be more confident and effective in facing trials thank you for the nice comment thank you brother kin Psalm 112 verse 7-8 he will not fear bad news his heart is steadfast trusting in Jehovah this verse shows that do who Trust in Jehovah can remain calm and confident even during challenging times it reminds us that faith in God helps us overcome fear moreover such Faith helps us hold on to Hope even when facing life life's difficulties that's that's a nice scripture thank
you uh brother Steven B please in the 109th Psalm David is distressed and prays for Jehovah to act against his enemies but he concludes the psalm by saying in verse 30 my mouth Will fervently praise Jehovah I will praise him in front of many people praise is the expressing of gratitude for God's goodness and acknowledging his deeds praise can be expressed by word and action and Jehovah's Faithful Servants in the past permitted nothing to interfere with their rendering praise to God God thank you a wonderful comment Brother Gary bar please we know uh some that
an Jehovah's People may think praising God or religion is a very private thing they just think I need to stay at home and think about such things and all is okay but if we look at Psalms 111 verse1 it mentions I'll praise Jehovah with all my heart then it says in the assembled group of upright ones and in the congregation so even J J sorry in David's day uh and the day of the psalmist they they praise Jehovah when they're with others whether at the Tabernacle or Temple or whatever they had there for meeting and
they were able to give Jehovah praise they're able to sing Psalms as well and this praise Jehovah as well at the time nice comment thank you brother few contribute Psalm 10 12:1 after saying praise Jah happy is the man who fears Jehovah who takes great pleasure in his commandments so we see that our happiness is uh inextricably linked to the word of God And uh really immersing ourselves in it understanding Jehovah's righteous requirements living by those standards in our lives and the net results uh are happiness and is the following verse verses go on to
explain there there are many flow on effects that um or blessings that come to those that really take God's word to heart and make it the the center of of their life and what they do and how they live thank you for the nice Comment oh brother over here please uh Psalms 111 verse 8 speaking about um Jehovah's wisdom it's reflected in his creation but also particularly in his word the Bible it just says they are always reliable now and forever they are made in truth and righteousness so unlike any other book uh even if
you get a book from a 100 years ago it's out of date but the Bible even though it's thousands of years old the principles are true and are proven True time and time again very nice right thank you sister chela here please brother John 112 verse6 the second part says the righteous will be remembered forever and all along the Psalms 112 there is a connection between fearing God and being righteous so je we know that Jehovah remembers favor his loyal servants keeping them in his memory and the Book of Malachi also Malachi also mentions a
book of Remembrance in which Jehovah's Faithful Servants names are written and we also know that Jehovah will remember his Faithful Servants in the resurrection and the verse ends ends saying they will be remembered forever and we have the certainty that this will be the case because Jehovah himself is from Everlasting to Everlasting thank you for the fine comment our sister B at back there Psalm 111 ver 10 it talks about the fear of Jehovah which is is not a morbid fear Or unhealth unhealthy fear but having deep respect and all for him as the Creator
and sustainer of life so it means recognizing his authority Holiness and love which motivates me personally to align my life with his will and this reference is the foundation of true wisdom because it helps me to see Jehovah as the ultimate source of Truth and and what guides me to make morally sound and Lasting decision because Jehovah's laws are not just rules they Are guided principle to lead us to peace happiness and everlasting life so trusting Jehovah's wisdom of human reason reasoning show show me to understand that his ways are always best even when it
requires faith and courage thank you uh last comment uh Steven SAR please Psalm 109:8 that helps me to realize that I need to be a good student of God's word because this was a scripture that helped the apostles in the first Century uh to be aware of what Jehovah's will was with regard to the replacement of a 12th Apostle when Judas became Unfaithful so his office of oversight let someone else take the brothers were actually able to draw from that scripture that they needed a replacement they drew Lots asked for Jehovah's blessing and they found
that replacement so it's good for me too when I want to make important decisions in my life that I know what the scriptures say and ask For Jehovah's Spirit to help me when I want to make a decision and draw on scriptures that have been built up over time thank you for the F comment thank you brother and sisters for your nice comments we pass it on to our chairman thanks brother Samuel for taking us through this week's spiritual gems and thanks those to that were able to have a share well this brings us now
to our Bible reading from this week which is taken from Psalm 109 1 through to 26 and our reader for this is Brother John kakam so let's have that read for us thanks oh God whom I I praise do not remain silent for the wicked and the deceitful open their mouths against me they speak about me with lying tongues they surround me with hateful words and they attack me without cause they resist me in response to my love but I continue to pray they repay me with bad for good and Hatred for my love appoint
a wicked man over him May a resistor stand at his right hand when he is judged may he be found guilty may even his prayer be counted as Sin let his days be few his office of oversight let someone else take let his children become fathers and his wife a widow may his children become wandering Beggars foraging for food from their ruined homes may his creditor seize all he that He has and may strangers plunder his possessions May no one extend kindness to him and may no one show favor to his fatherless children let his
descendants be cut off May their name be erased with in a gener generation let the error of his forefathers be remembered by Jehovah and may the sin of his mother not be erased May Jehovah always be mindful of what they have done and may he cut off the memory of them from the earth for he Did not remember to show kindness but he kept pursuing the oppressed poor and brokenhearted man to put him to death he loved to pronounce a curse so that is what came upon him he had no desire to bless so he
received no blessing he was clothed with curses as His Garment and they were poured into his body like water into his bones like oil may his curses be like the clothing in which he wraps himself and like a belt he always Wears this is the payment from Jehovah for the one who resists me and for those who speak evil things against me but you Jehovah The Sovereign Lord act in my behalf for the sake of your name rescue me because your loyal love is good for I am helpless and poor and my heart has been
pierced within me I am passing away like a fading Shadow I been shaken off like a locust my knees give way from fasting my body Is thin and I am wasting away I have become the object of their tauns when they see me they shake their heads help me oh Jehovah my God Save Me by your loyal love thanks brother John we enjoyed your reading tonight uh you read it in a nice fluent way that we could easily follow along with and I also too brother John I noticed you had some good audience contact there
and throughout your Reading tonight you were looking at a conversational Manner and it gives us a couple of uh points in our um teaching publication says obviously we need to pray to help to concentrate not on us but really on the message that we have to uh that we're talking about or we're reading tonight from the reading makes a point it says if we plan to read from the Bible or another publication get to know the passage um well and obviously you did because like I said you had good Audience contact but you never lost
your spot goes on to say read their words with feeling without being over traumatic and from verse 21 onward that really stood out in your reading tonight brother John that you really read that in a way and really showed that conversational manner just a couple of points to keep in mind maybe hold your device up you hold your device up it gives you the opportunity then to have a bit more audience contact but also to to Then gesture because it goes on to say speaking from the heart it says there it talks about our gestures
our posture and our facial expressions will convey warm sincerity and friendliness so by doing that then we our hands are free well one hand is free anyway but if we looking up and it's easy then for us to gestion naturally so maybe just a bit of encouragement there to maybe in your next assignment to maybe try and um throwing a few gestures as well just to Bring it a bit more to life but we thank you brother kako for your reading tonight well that brings us now to the apply yourself to the field Ministry and
tonight we're looking at three different areas starting a conversation explaining our beliefs and making disciples but first of all we're going to start a conversation and to do that for us tonight we're gonna have sister Emily an and sister Griselda laa hi thank you for coming to the door My name is Emily how are you hello I'm well thank you oh that's good to hear I'm visiting my neighbors today to share a message of a Hope from the Bible and I'd like to give you this track then many people find and encouraging okay what is
it about this TR is titled how do you view the future I'd love to get your thoughts on this question do you think our world will stay the same get worse or get better um definitely we I think it will get worse yeah a lot of People feel the same way may I ask is there something specific that concerns you about the future well uh there's so many bad things happening all around the world I think of Wars I think of natural disasters I think that those things can happen right next to me in this
country and I worry I understand it's hard to feel secure with so much uncertainty around us do not the Bible provide a comforting hope it is beautifully expressed at Revelation chapter 21 vers 3 and four it says God will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor our cry nor pain be anymore the former things have passed away isn't it a beautiful promise it is a beautiful promise uh very hard to believe that it's going to ever happen yeah it's normal to feel that way the Bible
assure us that With God all things are possible God has given us similar promises in the past and they Have all come true but this track explains more about why we can't trust the Bible's promises well it's very interesting I'll definitely have a closer look oh sounds good if it's okay can I come by another time to share more about this promise yes that will be fine thanks sister an and sister laaga for that that was a nice presentation um sister an very simple but you got a scripture in there which is um good and
Really that's one of a parts of being in the ministry isn't it to direct people to the Bible tonight you were looking at um from our love people make disciples brocher a lesson for Point number three it's under humility and it was that section do not be condescending and in no way at all did that come across that you were condescending um it makes the point avoid giving the impression that you know everything and the other person Knows nothing well that didn't come across at all like that even when sister Griselda made the point that
the future wasn't going to get better you still remained positive you just went straight into the scripture um and really explained that nicely but your Authority wasn't you but your Authority was God's word so we thank you for that and it really shows that um and also too that you spoke to them in a respectful way so thanks sister an and we look forward to Your next assignment that takes us now to our next part explaining your beliefs and this is based on the frequently asked questions about Jehovah's Witnesses why don't Jehovah's Witnesses go to
war so to handle this for us tonight we invite brother paneris and brother Ben so Stephen out of curiosity what are you reading these days oh it's it's the news it's talking about the wars in the Middle East in Europe it's really crazy Oh I agree the situation over there is just worsening by the day Caleb you're a Jehovah's Witness right is it true that Jehovah's Witnesses don't go to war uh yes Stephen that is true actually and well you see there there's four main reasons why we don't go to war our obedience to God
our obedience to Jesus our genuine love for others and the example of the early Christians and Stephen the most important reason is our obedience to God Okay um and we we utilize the Bible as well as our source of Truth it it provides us with accurate and valuable information on many different topics um such topics as God's view on war and you know what I'm just thinking a scripture that's come to to mine is Isaiah 2:4 do you mind if we read that together can I get you to read that actually is that all right
um I've just got here he will render judgment among the Nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples they will beat their swords into plow shares and their Spears into printing shears Nation will not lift up sword against Nation nor will they learn War anymore let it's sounds interesting but I don't quite get what it means yeah right well so this scripture states that God is against War notice here Nation will not learn War anymore they will beat their swords into plow shares and Spears into pruning shears so Jehovah's Witnesses worldwide today follow the example
of the early Christians and we imitate God by rejecting by rejecting war and military service and because of this we're we're actually part of an International Brotherhood all right and that and that's because we recognize that those practices are incompatible with the love ethic of Jesus and the command to love one Another is there something there that shows what Jesus said yeah yeah actually there is uh in John 13:34 notice what Jesus says here I'm giving you a new Commandment that you love one another just as I have loved you you also love one another
so Stephen does that kind of make sense why we don't go to war yeah I I I get what you're saying yeah yeah oh well that's good look I'm glad we managed to answer your question um we do Have to get back to work but just real quick you know if you have any other questions relating to the Bible I'm always happy to have a further chat okay thank you all right thank you brother pan and brother Ben for that brother Caleb that was an excellent uh demonstration I really liked your uh conversational manner you
weren't tied to your notes at all obviously you were very confident in your in your material and really stood Out in your part tonight point you were focusing on again is from how love people make disciples brochure under humility make clear that the Bible is the source of truths you share and that's what you did you use the Bible again as your Authority and obviously it makes the point God's word contains thoughts that touch people's hearts so we could rattle off a whole heap of facts of why Jehovah's Witnesses don't go to war but you
really use the Greatest Authority and that's God's word so you handle that nicely and we look forward to your next uh part well this now brings us to making disciples and this is taken from the enjoy life forever publication lesson 15.6 and the some people say section is going to be handled by Sister Tander M and sister Marilyn dayon okay now let's move on to the last point point six can you please read it we benefit from learning about Jesus The Bible stresses the importance of learning about Jesus and his role read John 14:6 and
173 and then discuss this question why is it vital to learn about Jesus thank you so what is this paragraph encouraging us to do that it is important to learn about Jesus and his role yeah that's right well why is it important to learn about Jesus let us now look at John 146 and find out one of the most important reasons would you like to read that sure John 146 says Jesus said to him I am the way and the truth and the life no one comes to the father except through me thank you so
according to this verse why is it important to learn about Jesus what it says here no one comes to the father except for me so we can't get to Jehovah if we we don't acknowledge Jesus he is the way leading us to Jehovah yeah absolutely so in other words can we make friends with Jehovah without knowing his son no we can't we have to know Jesus if We want to approach Jehovah yeah exactly now let us look at another important reason in John 173 I'll read it John 173 says this means everlasting life they are
coming to know you the only true God and the one whom you sent Jesus Christ so why is it important to learn about Jesus according to this verse because it means everlasting life knowing Jehovah in Jesus leads us to everlasting life yeah you're absolutely right it's an amazing award isn't It now let us look at the picture down there and the description of it any comment on that well the picture shows Jesus teaching the people well it's very clear to me now why Jesus came to the Earth to help us to be friends with Jehovah
and to get everlasting life now I see why it is really important to learn and appreciate about him and his role oh that's wonderful okay lastly let us look at what some people say some people say Jehovah Witnesses don't believe in Jesus how would you reply well that doesn't make any sense to me if jeah Witnesses don't believe in Jesus why am I even learning about him with you now I know Jehovah Witnesses listen to God and follow the Bible teaching that includes believing in Jesus well I guess you wouldn't be teaching me about Jesus
if you did don't believe in him would you I would not well why well that Maryland thanks sister tit sander and Sister Marilyn for that nice demonstration as well when I looked at the material tonight I wondered how you were going to cover the point sister T because there's not much material there the point you were looking at is under Simplicity do not talk too much I thought you're going to have to do a lot of talking to for this but you did it you did it well you asked the questions as makes the point
Here it says after you ask a question wait patiently for your student to answer and that's what you did it does say if we if they don't know the answer or Express a Viewpoint the conflicts with Bible teachings maybe then we can use additional questions to help them and then it makes the the point that once our student knows the point to move on so really the key there for us is not to talk too much and that's what you did so you cover that nicely thanks to T Sander and we look forward well we
might not see another assignment from you might we but anyway who knows you can fill in okay so that finishes this part of the meeting to take us in now to the living as Christians part of our meeting we have a song that's been chosen that's song 72 making known the kingdom truth so let's stand and sing together making known the kingdom truth let's invite brother Nicholson now To the platform and he'll handle the part how can we loyally support the Kingdom so to start us off let's read together Daniel 2 44 and 45 maybe
a scripture that we've read many times in the ministry so it says there in the days of those kings the god of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed and this Kingdom will not be passed on to any other people it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms and it Alone will stand forever just as you saw that out of the mountain a stone was cut not by hands and that it crushed the iron the copper the clay the silver and the gold the grand God has made known
to the king what will happen in the future the dream is true and its interpretation is trustworthy wow such powerful words and what a privilege it is for us to live in the time of their fulfillment we can learn probably a lot Of things but I'm going to mention four things from that verse so the first it tells us that God's kingdom would begin ruling in the days of those kings so we know that God's kingdom took up its rulership while governments on Earth still existed and we see that today second it tells us that
God's kingdom would last forever and never be replaced by another government thirdly there would be war between God's kingdom and these Governments and of course God's kingdom would be Victorious and only God's kingdom will rule over the Earth and finally God's kingdom government that stone carved out of Jehovah's sov sovereignty is an expression of his Universal sovereignty so that his rulership that mountain that stone of God's kingdom is an expression of Jehovah's sovereignty we are living at the time of the Fulfillment of this prophecy so how Do we uphold Jehovah's sovereignty we're going to watch
one of these incredible videos where the brothers cram in less than two minutes so much wonderful information I think it's just over two minutes let's watch that video now so the question to go with the video is how do we loyally support God's kingdom and we'll start with uh sister bethia thanks today today we can see political And economic and environmental issues spread from the news we see today and posters that could promote to take slides these things today could influence our neutrality to avoid taking sides in this system of things we can loyally support
God's kingdom through our prayer feeling thinking and by also teaching others about Jehovah's Kingdom and what this Kingdom will do for mankind thanks sister bethia very nice excellent and uh we'll have sister Jean Thanks Loy support Jew's Kingdom by stand NE to in a world of fear as Jesus remind us we I'm no part of the world lovely Jan very good thank you excellent yes so so much in there so what um and we've we've touched on it in the answers there so where does this take place so none of us vote we're not going
to go and protest but where was this taking place thanks brother Krupi yeah this was going on within internally with individuals and as it pointed out um how we think and feel about things may never be voiced or be spoken to somebody else but nevertheless they can affect uh our our heart who we are as a person so we see how important it is that we protect those things and that even by our thinking and feeling we don't become part of the world or take sides and we know like there's big political things happening in
the world And it would be very easy to think one thing was better than another privately but we don't even want to do that we want to stay absolutely neutral beautifully put excellent thank you and sister mallik sorry um yes uh on the video too it um featured some questions there it said what can I do to remain neutral and on political issues and in my intake from media sources and my view of local or national pride so those are important Questions that we could actually um think about and also um consider how it relates
with the Bible too very good excellent comment so it's really good to reflect on this brother and sister we're looking at the principle of being no part of the world that's the principle but in practice we can be challenged we can have pressures so sister Marie touched on it one of the things is what is our main channel of information if we're watching a lot of news or Political comment what is going to happen to our heart it almost inadvertently will take sides we'll start to weigh up opinions that we're we're hearing you noticed in
the video though they showed the broadcast is that our our main channel are we getting the channel that's helping us to be neutral but also strengthening our faith so prayer was one of the things that would help us there and then this is going to affect how we think and feel and of Course that's going to lead to us teaching others about the Kingdom so this battle or this principle needs to be applied in our hearts and Minds notice the theme too of our part is how can we loyally support the kingdom by supporting the
kingdom we are upholding Jehovah's sovereignty so God's kingdom is a part or subset of his Universal sovereignty we want to uphold that in our hearts you can't hold two things in your heart so we want to be holding God's kingdom and that means we reject or put away from us in our hearts the world's economic Solutions well we don't even take sides when it's going to affect us adversely we don't uphold the world's moral stands we uph we uphold Jehovah and the world at times will tell us that's not just just when the complete opposite
is true and of course the only way the planet's going to be saved is through Jehovah's Kingdom so it was nice To the brothers gave us a bit more homework too didn't they to really help us think about this principle of upholding Jehovah's Universal sovereignty his kingdom and being no part of the world so it was to write down a scripture that corresponds to each of the following um ways that we can support God's Kingdom so hopefully did you have a chance to do that so maybe we could go through and see if you've got
some if You haven't I've got some I might share them with you but hopefully you've done some homework so the first one is making the kingdom our most important concern in life and just to make it that Tad more difficult we're going to take Matthew 6:33 right off the table straight away because that would have been our go-to wouldn't it first the kingdom and jear look after look at all those hands oh so but that's a good one that is a Good one we want to know that one but did anyone come up with something
else brother brother I'll come back to brother mlan I can see brother Tim a visitor let's see brother Tim in the middle here has has one for us I did have Matthew 6:33 but I've got another one um Jesus spoke about a parable the pearl of high value in Matthew 13:45 46 where a merchant on finding this Pearl sold everything everything else to get this one Pearl And that's a really good illustration of what the kingdom should be to us everything else a secondary would sell it all to focus on the kingdom Lovely One excellent
and uh brother Phil thanks yeah Matthew 53 Jesus was talking about how we can be happy one of these things was being being conscious of our spiritual needs and it goes on to say since the kingdom of the heavens belongs to them so if we're focusing on the kingdom then we're going to also be Focusing on taking in spiritual food lovely and we'll do sister Jen while we're there uh Ephesians 516 speaks about making the best use of your time so we focus our life on promoting Kingdom interests not our own lovely so see how
just thinking even deeper really reinforces this putting the kingdom f hey okay what about adhering to the moral standards required of Kingdom subjects what do we have there so we'll have our sister that thank You 1 Corinthians 6 um 9 and 10 talks about like don't do not not to be misled that if we do not follow Jehovah's standards we're not going to inherit God's kingdom excellent very good one I'll just I I'll read this one to you I I I really love this scripture you probably remember it Psalm 101 2:4 I will act with
discretion and blamelessness when will you come to me that is go Jehovah when will you come to me I will walk with Integrity of of Heart inside my house I will not see any set anything worthless before my eyes I hate the Deeds of those who deviate from what is right I will have nothing to do with them a crooked heart is far from me I will not not accept what is bad do that so there's lovely scriptures like that that can really fortify us and help us um let's have a look at our image
for the next um next one as well and what so scriptures would you have for zealously teaching others about the Kingdom and uh we'll have sister loo thanks I thought of 1 Corinthians 9:16 And1 17 um it reminds me that declaring the good news is a necessity laid upon me by Jehovah and Jesus and understanding that it a stewardship entrusted to me um will move me to zealously make known Jehovah's Kingdom beautiful one excellent and sister samay I like second Timothy 4:2 preach the word be it urgently in favorable times and difficult times reprove Reprimand
thought with all patience and art of teaching excellent very good and one more sister Griselda thanks Romans 10:14 it says how in turn will they put faith in him about who about whom they have not heard how in turn will they hear without someone to preach so he places responsibility on us to go and preach the kingdom beautiful thank you and I love the image in the background of the mountains so we can think that we're out when we preach God's kingdom that's what we're doing we're representing his Universal sovereignty we're talking to people about
the only rulership that will work thanks for that brothers and finally we've got showing respect for secular authorities so probably one might have had acts 529 is that one you had down yep that was that's a good goto or maybe Matthew 22:21 or a few nods there as well will pay back Caesar's things to Caesar but God's things to God see having these scriptures firmly in mind and heart helps us to have that principle firmly in mind we're no part of the world because of these reasons because of what Jehovah tells us so brothers and
sisters remember what we read in Daniel 245 our wonderful Heavenly Father Jehovah he has made known known what will happen now it's not in the future anymore the dream that Daniel had is true and its Interpretation is trustworthy yes only Jehova's Kingdom will bring true peace and stability and security only Jehovah's Kingdom will bring True Justice and only Jehovah's Kingdom will save the planet let us be no part of the the world loyally upholding Jehovah's sovereignty by actively supporting God's kingdom thanks brother Nicholson for taking us through that part to show how we can loyally
support the kingdom and thanks too for the support too of those Nice script that were brought out as well to answer those questions have you got any more scriptures in mind to answer any of those questions or if you do you can discuss them amongst yourselves after there was probably quite a few that we missed well this now brings us to our congregation Bible study and it's taken from our bearing witness publication chapter 18 paragraph 16 through to 24 let's invite Brothers Vino To handle this for us tonight yes and we will continue learning practical
lessons from the speech of the Apostle Paul had that the areopagus to the Athenians and as uh we considered previously uh he was able to make good observation and that good observation uh for instance help him to see that the Athenians there they had a an altar dedicated to the to an unknown God so using this observation um uh the Apostle Paul was able to explain the notion of the true God so today we we continue as um it was mentioned from paragraph 16 but in the previous paragraph under the same subtitle we could learn
how uh Paul explained about this God being able to create the universe create man and also not depending on humans so we will continue um looking at the points that he the Apostle Paul use to describe this Unknown God for the Athenians or the unknown God they made room in their veneration so we would like to ask uh the reading from paragraph 16 to brother Lucas Vino thank you God purposed that humans be close to him even if the philosophers in Paul's audience had long debated the purpose of human existence they could never have explained
it satisfactorily Paul however clearly revealed the Creator's purpose for humans namely for Them to seek God if they might grow for him and really find him although in fact he is not far off from each one of us the God who was unknown to the Athenians is by no means unknowable on the contrary he is not far off from those who truly want to find him and learn about him notice that Paul used the term us thus including himself among those who needed to seek and grope for God thank you so paragraph 16 the Question
is uh what is the Creator's purpose for humans is the sister there thank you it's Jehovah's purpose that people be close to him and to seek him and that scripture in um Psalm 14518 says that Jehovah is near to all those calling on him so he's not far off from those who truly want to find him and learn about him yes very good thank you uh sister cind Simon yeah un likee the philosophers at The time Paul was able to make this really clear in Acts 17:27 where he he mentioned that they would seek God
and if they might grope for him and really find him although in fact he's not far off from each one of us so Paul's words show that Jehovah wants us to look for him and to be close to him however he only grants that closeness to those who are willing to seek seek and grope for him as it said so if we sincerely do that we can be sure that our efforts Will be rewarded and we'll really find him as Paul assures us yes very good thanc thank you brother Gary barck thank you an interesting
thing too when Paul mentioned to his listeners about seeking God uh and he mentioned is not far off from each one of us so he included himself in this part that we all do need to seek God he wasn't just talking to them and telling them to seek God but it's something he pointed out that he Was doing as well yeah so excellent points for us to keep in mind when we're explaining the the Bible truth of the people so we can now continue with the paragraph 17 and 18 thank you humans should feel drawn
to God because of him Paul said we have life and move and exist some Scholars say that Paul was alluding to the words of epid sorry epimenides a poet of the 6th century bcee and a figure significant in Athenian religious tradition Paul gave another reason why humans should feel drawn to God some of your own poets have said for we are also his children humans should feel a kinship with God he created the one man from whom All Humans descent to appeal to his audience Paul wisely quoted Direct from Greek writings that his listeners no
doubt respected in harmony with Paul's example We may at times make limited use of quotations from secular history encyclopedias or other accepted reference works for example an appropriate quote from a respected Source might help to convince a non-witness about the origin of certain false religious practices or observances up to this point in his speech Paul conveyed key truths about God skillfully tailoring his words to his audience what did the Apostle want his Athenian listeners to do with this Vital Information without delay he went on to tell them as he continued his speech thank you paragraph
17 and 18 Why Should humans feel drawn to God and what we what can we learn from the way Paul appeal to his audience so first Why Should humans feel drawn to god sister an thank you humans should feel drawn to God because he is the source of our life Movement and existence as a Paul St in Acts 1728 by him we have life and move and exist and he also referred to Greek poets who say for we are also his children this highlights the kingship humans have with the God as all come from the
one man he created thank you very much uh sister Emily what I think made this approach or this explanation made it more uh appealing to his Listeners brother Phil krupi thank you well these are things that they knew and already agreed with so he wasn't uh being controversial but he was tapping into their existing mindset and then building on that because it was well if you know uh we are also his children then what does that mean for us so he was then able to expand and uh make a very appealing um account to the
people so that uh some could very well have Listened and taken heed of what he was talking about yes very good thank you and what can we learn from the way Paul appealed to his audience uh sister Ben thank you we could see that Paul approach teaches us a valuable lesson in communicating Bible Truth by quing Greek Poes respected by his audience he skillfully built a bridge between their existing belief and the truth about Jehovah so similarly we can use quotation limited Quotation from reliable secular sources to help explain spiritual truth especially when discussing topics
like false religion practices or tradition so this can make our message more relatable and convincing yes very good thank you so we can all uh learn or find practical ways to uh to really pres present information in an attractive way uh to our audience but um as paragraph 8 18 Mentions uh it comes to a point that after conveying these key truths what could happen what could we expect sister Rena malencia so after conveying the key truths about God is still skillfully tailoring his word to his audience yes very good thank you uh brother Steve
Simon well these are all very powerful arguments but what were the people going to do with it so Paul's now going to Reach his conclusion which is going to where he's going to attempt to motivate his listeners to act on what they've learned yes very good some something also important for us to keep in mind isn't it how the person can really benefit by taking action on the information and uh this information is under the next next subsection people everywhere should repent and the verses are from acts 17 29-31 and someone would like to read
us an Introduction to these paragraphs uh sister Rani thank you um 29 to 31 says 1729 to 31 thank you it says therefore since we are the children of God we should not think that the Divine being is like gold or silver or stone like something ctured by the earthart and designs of human um true God has overlooked the times of such ignorance but now he's declaring to all people everywhere that they should repent because he has set a Day on which he purose purposes to judge the inhabit inhabitated Earth in righteousness by a man
whom he has appointed and he has provided a guarantee to all men by resurrecting him from the dead yes very good thank you so we can now uh read paragraph 19 and 20 thank you Paul was ready to exhort his listeners to act referring back to the quote from Greek writings he said therefore since we are the children of God we should not think that the Divine being is like gold or silver or stone like something sculptured by the Art and Design of humans indeed if humans are a product of God then how could God
take the form of Idols which are a product of men Paul's tacal reasoning expose Expos the Folly of worshiping man man-made Idols by saying we should not Paul no doubt removed some of the Sting from his rebuke the apostle made it clear that Action was needed God has overlooked the times of such ignorance of imagining that God could be pleased with pans who worshiped Idols but now he is declaring to all people everywhere that they should repent some of Paul's listeners might have been shocked to hear his call for repentance but his powerful speech plainly
showed that they owed their life to God and were thus accountable to him they needed to seek God learn the truth About him and bring their whole way of life into harmony with that truth for the Athenians that meant recognizing and turning away from the sin of idolatry thank you very much so paragraph uh 19 and 20 part A how did Paul tactfully expose the Folly of worshiping man-made Idols uh sister Esther Mong thank you as we read his words in Acts 17 verse 29 we see that his reasoning was Very clear he says we
are the children of God which would mean that we are the product of God so how would product of God um in turn make God the product of men in the form of Idols so with this um he he tactfully exposed the Folly of worshiping manmade idols and um moreover he used the collective term we again and by using this he's able to establish some common ground subtly and um remove some of the thing from his rebuke yes thank you very Much H yes brother thank you um earlier in Acts chapter 17 it just states
that Paul was irritated at seeing all the idols so he found it irritating all this idol worship and so he could have said uh you should not he really he could have felt that way but by really using that word we as the sister said he softened that he didn't allow that irritation to get to him and that's a good lesson for us too yes that's right so Similarly for us when we we we speak to others we we can't try to um use similar Expressions we even if we are we know that we are
not involved in that but that really show that uh we have tact when we are presenting our message and Part B what action did Paul's listeners need to take um sister shepher thank you they needed to turn around and repent as acts 17:30 says that God has overlooked the time of such of such Ignorance but now he he is declaring to all people everywhere that they should repent so by means of Paul's speech he he made it quite clear that they were accountable to God that they needed to seek Him and um turn their whole
life around in accord with his ways yes very good so what was really was involved in the change they had to do or they have to leave from to really accept the good news um yes the sister at the back thank You yes they need to see God and learn the truth about him and bring their whole way of life into harmony with their truth yes very good thank you and sister Maria Mallo thank you than you so for the Athenians at that time it it meant them recognizing and turning away uh from the sin
of idolatry yes so that that was clear so even the Apostle Paul had a lot Of tact when talking to them uh it was um a clear action for them to take so now we we can move to the paragraph following paragraph uh 21 and 22 thank you Paul ended his speech with forceful words God has set a day on which he purposes to judge the inhabited Earth in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed and he has provided a guarantee to all men by resurrecting him from the Dead a coming Judgment Day what
a sobering reason to seek and find the true God Paul did not name the appointed judge rather Paul said something startling about this judge he had lived as a man died and been raised from the dead by God that rousing conclusion is filled with meaning for us today we know that the judge appointed by God is the resurrected Jesus Christ we also know that Judgment day will be a thousand Years long and is fast approaching we do not fear Judgment Day for we understand that it will bring Untold blessings to those judged Faithfully the Fulfillment
of our hope for a glorious future is guaranteed by the greatest of Miracles the resurrection of Jesus Christ paragraph 21 and 22 Paul ended his speech with what forceful words and what meaning do his words have for us today Uh sister maleno thank you as it said in act 1731 that he said there that um God has set a day and that's a judgment day and that's coming Judgment Day means that um they have to seek and find the true God so but if you will notice here that um Paul did not name the appointed
judge but he said that he he had lived as a man died and been raised from the dead by God yes very good thank you uh brother barck thank You we see here Paul who've been speaking to these people for a while but he endeavored to give them a reason why they should be listening to what he was saying and not only that but acting upon it some of them when he mentioned about uh judging and unrighteousness maybe they already thought that they were righteous from their own point of view but Paul was able to
uh point out that of course there was a judgment day coming yes very good thank you so uh so What meaning do his words have for us today brother phy thank you well we think of these Athenians hearing that message about a judgment day that might have um invoked some fear in what was to come and a reason to make change but today when we think about what Judgment Day means we see it very differently for us we see that it is ushering in an unparalleled time in human history uh when all of Jehovah's Promises
uh will be um made yes by means of Christ Jesus so we look forward to that day and all that it will uh bring in the way of blessings to mankind so we rejoice and and we want it to come uh as soon as possible yes truly yes that's that's right so we go now to our last um two paragraphs under this um subtitles some became Believers and these two paragraphs are based on acts 17:32 to 34 someone would like to read that um Brother Steven Ben thank you 32-34 now when I heard of a
resurrection of the Dead some began to scoff While others said we will hear you again about this so Paul left them but some men joined him and became Believers among them were dius who was a judge of the court of the areopagus and a woman named damarus and others besides them yes thank you very much so we can now read paragraph 23 thank you Lucas there were mixed reactions the Paul speech some began to scoff when they heard of a resurrection others were polite but non-committal saying we will hear you again about this a few
however responded positively some men joined him and became Believers among them were dianus who was in a j who was a judge of the court of the areopagus and a woman named Dearis and others beside them we experience similar reactions in our ministry some people may deride us While others respond with polite indifference however we are thrilled when some accept the kingdom message and become Believers thank you paragraph 23 what were the mixed reactions to Paul's speech um brother gibber thank you some to Scuff some people good answer because this we will hear you again
about this yes very good can we expect that that sort of reaction brother Steve Simone thank you yeah we can and we do um but it says that Paul left them so he wasn't so worried about these ones who were scoffing and that's a a good method for us as well is not to worry about people who scoff or deride the message But the good thing was as it mentions in the paragraph is that there were people who were listening and who attached themselves to Paul and wanted to learn more about the truth like this
judge dius and damarus and others besides them so there were some good results but we can't expect that everyone's going to listen to the good news yes that's right so we can now go to the our last paragraph uh that is a good summary of our study and our sort of Learning from what Paul did at paragraph 24 thank you as we reflect on Paul's speech we can learn much about logical development and convincing argumentation as well as how to adapt to our audience in addition we can learn about the need to be patient and
tactful with those who are blinded by false Rel religious beliefs we can also learn this important lesson we must never compromise Bible Truth just to appease our listeners yet by imitating the example of the Apostle Paul we can become more effective teachers in the field Ministry furthermore overseers can thereby become better qualified teachers in the congregation we will thus be well equipped to help others to seek God and really find him thank you very much uh Lucas for the reading and helping us to understand the information in paragraph 24 the question says what can we
learn from the speech that Paul gave as he stood in the midst of the arop uh yes the sister at the back thank you we can learn how to uh we can learn about the need to be p I and tactful with those who are blinded by false religious beliefs and we can never compromise Bible truth just to appease our listeners we can become more effective teachers in the field Ministry by imitating the example from Apostle Paul very good thank you what do you think you can apply to you or can help you can help
any of us um brother krupi we we have a very diverse uh population here in Black Town's territory many people uh the their faith isn't currently aligned with any kind of Christianity so when we speak to them the message from the Bible it uh sometimes hits a brick wall so that ability Paul demonstrated to adapt to His audience get to know a bit about the way they think and view things and adapt the way we approach people of different faiths uh that aren't uh have no understanding of Christianity or the teachings of Jesus uh that
can really help us to uh make our message more appealing to those that we have as listeners yes and doubt it it's a privilege for us uh brother Nicholson thank you yeah and Paul sets such a great Example of establishing common ground using what he can to do that but not compromising the truth and teaching truth so we want to do the same we want to establish common ground in order to draw them to Jehovah through Bible truths then using the Bible we might use limited um secular sources but we want God's word to touch
their hearts we don't want to compromise and then go past the Common Ground onto their ground we want to draw them to Jehovah yes Thank you so much um um brother Steve Simone thank you as was mentioned um Paul was uh quite annoyed by all these things that went on so he could have gotten emotional and had an emotional Outburst that would have had probably no results whatsoever and so our paragraph helps us to see how we can combat that and that's to use logical development convincing argument and adapt to our audience so when we
do that emotion doesn't get in The way but clear logical uh development of points that can appeal to the hearts of our listeners can help to combat our own personal feelings about what they might believe and help them to be one over to the truth yes very good thank you how can also help in the congregation learning from the Apostle Paul uh sister M thank you it highlights that um our overseers or ones who have positions of oversight in the congregation they can be become Better qualified teachers in the congregation and they will be well
equipped to help others to seek God's and really find him yes so it's multiple benefits and we really appreciate that um something that the Apostle apostle Paul show to us can have such um valid application for us today it's a real blessing from Jehovah and we really appreciate your comments and preparation for this material thanks brother Viller for Taking us through this week's congregation Bible study and thanks too for those that are able to have a share as well we we have a song that's been chosen to conclude with song 75 here I am send
me so let's stand and we can sing that together here I am send me and following that we invite brother doden to close our meeting with a word of prayer weekly summary of the week of November 25th 2024 let us support our King Jesus based on Psalms 109 to12 the Bible invites us to fully support our King Jesus and Psalms 109 to 112 provide profound lessons that strengthen our resolve to be his loyal followers these Psalms reveal God's justice Jesus's Authority as the appointed king and the blessings received by those who remain faithful let us
reflect on these Inspiring passages and how they encourage us to actively support our King Psalm 109 presents a plea for justice in the face of opposition and slander David the writer of this Psalm places full trust in Jehovah to act against his adversaries similarly Jesus faced injustices during his Earthly Ministry despite false accusations and Scorn he trusted completely in Jehovah for Vindication this teaches us not to Be discouraged when we face opposition for supporting our King by imitating Jesus we leave our concerns in Jehova's hands confident that he will bring Justice in due time the
psalmist's confidence encourages us to persevere in our loyalty though we live in a world often dominated by Injustice we can be assured that Jesus as Jehovah's appointed King carries out the Divine Purpose with Justice and righteousness some Psalm 110 Is a powerful prophecy describing Jesus as the Eternal King and priest verse one States Jehovah declared to my Lord sit at my right hand until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet this passage reminds us that Jehovah has granted Jesus full authority to rule and Conquer his enemies furthermore verse 4 presents him as
a priest in the manner of melkisedek a role that guarantees his inter ession for Humanity supporting Jesus involves recognizing his authority and willingly submitting to his direction we do this by following his teachings and actively participating in the work of preaching the Good News of the Kingdom let us remember that as king and priest Jesus acts for the benefit of those who loyally submit to his rule Psalm 111 invites us to praise Jehovah for his powerful and just Works Jesus as the Supreme representative of his father fully reflected Divine qualities in all he did this
Psalm highlights how Jehovah always acts with faithfulness and Justice and Jesus is a manifestation of these same qualities when we praise Jehovah for his works we also show appreciation for the role Jesus plays in fulfilling the Divine Purpose By meditating on the Wonder Jehovah has accomplished through his kingdom our faith is strengthened And our resolve to support Jesus becomes firmer this praise is expressed not only with words but also through actions that reflect our loyalty Psalm 112 describes the blessings received by those who fear Jehovah and follow his ways it speaks of prosperity stability and
confidence even in challenging times Jesus as the Supreme Supreme example of someone who fully trusts in Jehovah enjoyed these Blessings by remaining faithful to his Heavenly father as followers of Jesus we too can enjoy these Blessings by reflecting his example of loyalty when we support his Reign we demonstrate that we value Jehovah's standards and trust that he will bless our efforts this Psalm assures us that the righteous will never be abandoned including those who strive to be faithful followers of Jesus Psalms 109 to 112 Inspire us to be loyal To Jesus our King who rules
with Justice and perfectly reflects Jehovah's qualities these passages remind us of the importance of trusting in Divine Justice recognizing Jesus Authority praising Jehovah for his works and enjoying the blessings that come from being faithful May our words and actions reflect our unwavering support for Jesus let us continue to zealously participate in the Kingdom work confident that our Loyalty will be rewarded with eternal Blessings by doing so we show our deep love and appreciation for both Jehovah and his son Jesus who deserve all our devotion and support in our Christian Life we address the following theme
support the kingdom loyally according to Daniel chapter 2 chapter 2 of Daniel contains one of the most most significant prophecies about God's Kingdom In this passage King Nebuchadnezzar receives a prophetic dream that only Daniel with Jehovah's help could interpret this dream revealed the succession of world powers until God's kingdom establishes an eternal government that will destroy all human kingdoms reflecting on this prophecy motivates us to support the kingdom loyally trusting in its sure fulfillment and showing our dedication to its interests this dream revealed the Succession of world powers until God's kingdom establishes an eternal government
that will destroy all human kingdoms reflecting on this prophecy motivates us to support the kingdom loyally trusting in its sure fulfillment and showing our dedication to its interests in the King's dream a great image composed of different materials represents a series of human governments the most striking part occurs when a stone not cut by human hands strikes the Image and completely crushes it Daniel explains that this Stone symbolizes God's kingdom which will not only destroy all human kingdoms but also become a mountain filling the entire Earth Daniel 234 3544 this Vision assures us that God's
kingdom is superior to any human government and that its establishment is imminent supporting it loyally means trusting fully in its Triumph and prioritizing Its interests Above All Else Daniel demonstrated his loyalty to the kingdom by recognizing that only Jehovah could interpret the dream when the king threatened to execute all the wise men of Babylon for failing to interpret the dream Daniel did not act arrogantly or rely on his own wisdom instead he sought Jehovah's guidance in prayer showing total depend dependence on him Daniel 21 17-23 similarly our loyalty to the Kingdom is demonstrated by fully
trusting in Jehovah and his Direction This Means maintaining a spiritual perspective and not allowing material interests or the issues of human governments to displace our trust in God's kingdom the dream of Nebuchadnezzar also motivates us to work actively for the Kingdom's interests in Daniel 2:44 we read that this Kingdom will not be passed on to Any other people indicating that it is a government established directly by Jehovah and requires the support of his servants as Christians we show loyalty to the kingdom by enthusiastically participating in the preaching work and helping others learn about this wonderful
government preaching the good news is a powerful way to demonstrate our loyalty just as Daniel boldly Proclaim Jehovah's message before a powerful King We too can speak courageously about the kingdom trusting that Jehovah will bless our efforts another key aspect of Daniel 2's prophecy is the contrast between human kingdoms and God's kingdom human governments represented by the image are fragile and temporary while God's kingdom is indestructible and eternal supporting the kingdom loyally means not placing our trust in human Institutions or their promises while we respect the authorities as established by Romans 13:1 we recognize that
only God's kingdom can solve Humanity's problems definitively this exclusive trust in the kingdom is reflected in our daily Decisions by avoiding involvement in political activities or conflicts between nations we demonstrate that our loyalty is centered on Jehovah's Heavenly government The Fulfillment of Daniel 244 is certain but requires patience and faith just as Daniel fully trusted Jehovah's words we too must remain firm in our hope this includes strengthening our relationship with Jehovah through prayer studying his word and associating with our brothers in faith our loyalty is also tested in difficult times when we Face pressures to
compromise our principles let us remember that the Stone of the Kingdom will destroy all human governments and establish an eternal rule this Vision gives us the strength to persevere and continue supporting the kingdom enthusiastically the prophecy of Daniel 2 assures us that God's kingdom will soon bring lasting Justice and peace meanwhile we can demonstrate our loyalty by fully trusting in this government actively participating in its Work rejecting trust in human kingdoms and remaining firm in faith let us support the kingdom with loyal Hearts confident that our efforts are not in Vain by doing so we
show that we value Jehovah's government and desire to share in the Eternal blessings he promises to those who loyally support him
