[Music] [Applause] [Music] hey everyone I'm Kevin Wallace pastor of redemption to the nation's Church church and listen today I'm going to be bringing a message that I trust will bring life and hope and peace to your heart we need peace in these troubled times we can find it in the word of the lord I want you to call your friends your family let them know that this message is getting ready to be preached I want them to join in and be blessed by it as well now hang on to the end I'm coming back to
pray for you and your need can't wait to see you then may the Lord bless you let's jump into the word today I want to go right to the word this morning second Kings chapter 8 and I want to preach a message today I don't know I just felt this title come up in me and it put a little bit of attitude in me today because the king said so look at your neighbor say because the king said so second Kings chapter 8 then Elisha spoke to the woman whose son he had restored to life
he said arise and go you and your household and stay wherever you can for the Lord has called for a famine and furthermore it will come upon the land for 7even years so the how many thankful before it ever started it had an expiration [Music] dateo I just saw that you ever blessed yourself without knowing you was going to bless yourself I just got blessed so the woman arose and did according to the saying of the man of God and she went with her household and dwelt in the land of the pH for seven years
it came to pass shake a neighbor's hand tell them it shall come to pass at the end of the seven years that the woman returned from the land of the Philistines and went to make an appeal to the king for her house and for her land then the king talked with gazi the servant of the man of God Elisha saying tell me please all the great things Elisha has done now it happened as he was telling the king as he was telling the king he was testifying and telling the King how he had restored the
Dead to life that there was a woman the woman whose son he had restored to life came into the king's presence appealing to the king for her house and for her land and gazi said my Lord oh King this is the woman and this is her son whom Elisha restored to life and when the king asked the woman she told him so the king appointed a certain officer to her saying restore all that was hers and all the proceeds of the field from the day that she left the land until now and I can just
hear some old crazy somebody in the king's court saying who does she think she is getting all of her stuff back and how did that happen and why is he giving her all this stuff I can see her turning back to them and say because the king said [Music] so how many know what the king says it it don't matter what your enemies say pray for me and I pray for you Lord help us today to preach and receive the Bible in Jesus name amen you can be seated in the presence of God second Kings
chapter 8 finds itself in the midst of a period of prophetic Ministry namely happening through the life of a man named Elisha everyone say Elisha Elish was not the first prophet he was the predecessor he was the minty as it were he was the Protege of the original prophet of God who came to Israel and began to speak the word of the Lord His Name Was Elijah in Second Kings and you know the story Elijah steps on a world a cloud as it were a a chariot of Fire gets caught up in a whirlwind and
is taken to heaven and does not go to Heaven by way of the Grave he's literally taken up from the planet in a chariot of Fire and on his way up his spiritual son Elisha says my father my father and Elijah takes the coat off he takes his mantle off and throws it and Elisha picks up the mantle of Elijah and I'm not preaching on this but this is a solid Revelation for us to consider today if you look at the story of Elijah there are some 16 Miracles recorded in Elijah's story in the Bible
if you look at the story of Elisha his son there were 32 Miracles recorded in the Bible 16 from Elijah the father 32 from Elisha the son what is the significance two things number one namely you get what you ask for even if it's difficult when Elisha says to Elijah I want a double portion of what is on your life Elijah says you've asked for a hard thing nevertheless if you see me when I'm taken up you shall have it and the key is if you see me if you can stick with me long enough
to be around when I leave then I can leave you what you've asked for even though it was difficult and so Elijah is taken up he catches the Elisha catches the mantle and he said where's the Lord God of Elijah watch this and Elisha the spiritual son works 32 Miracles rather than 16 not only does it mean you get what you ask for it also suggests that there is an increased and an exponential multiplication as the mantle is passed down rather than an exhaustion and a loss or reduction in in productivity I want you to
understand today that the church cannot buy into the the idea that surfaces from the world systems that as you pass something down it has to reduce in its potency it has to be reduced in its scope and in its size it has to be reduced or exhaust it gets exhausted you use it and you lose it forever that is not how the kingdom of God works if you understand and I'm not preaching on this but somebody needs to catch this today if you understand the principle of of trans a transitional leadership moving from one generation
to the next then you understand if a spiritual father and mother invest in Sons and Daughters Sons and Daughters don't inherit a smaller thing they inherit a larger thing come on you got Bible for this Jesus said if I go greater work shall you do because I go come on I'm leaving but that doesn't mean the church is going out of business in fact not only is the church not going to shrink not only is the church not going to die it's not just going to th survive or exist it's actually going to increase in
its potency come on increase in its ability to touch the world I want you to hear me today I Devon and I our church we have adopted wholeheartedly bought into this idea of pouring into Sons and Daughters because if we don't then they will by default inherit a deficient and dying and shrinking thing rather than something that has more life in the future future than the life we've even been seeing right now moms and dads you need to believe that for your own family when you pass your inheritance to your children they're not just going
to have a little bit you need to believe again to believe God that they're going to have more than you inherited and that they're not just going to exist they're not just going to barely make it they're actually going to experience increase Elisha did more than Elijah Elijah used what he had but even though he used that God multiplied it when he gave it to the next Generation God will take what you have and you're willing to deposit into the Next Generation he'll multiply it this goes for church goes for your finances goes for everything
it's actually a principle if you will be willing to Steward it God will give the Next Generation more than the previous generation had that ain't what I want to preach Elisha was the prophet of God and in 2 Kings chapter 4 four chapters before this second Kings chapter 4 he runs into this lady from shunum and she says to her husband I want to build the prophet a bedroom a a prophet's quarters onto our house now let me teach this right here she literally honored the prophetic Ministry of God in such a way that she
made room for it in her house I want to be I want to caution some people in this room I I wouldn't call it a rebuke I'd call it a caution you need to be very careful when you speak against the Propet prophetic Ministry of God's spirit working in the lives and through lives of people now listen to me I know not everyone who prophesies is accurate or from the Lord and we are to weigh prophecy and we don't make decisions massive decisions based on Prophecy that don't line up with the wisdom of God because
how many know the wisdom of God is the principal thing it's what the Bible says wisdom is principle and all you're getting get understanding I believe prophetic words come to confirm and not to confuse but there are people maybe you're not in this room maybe you're watching online maybe there's nobody and I pray there's not but there are people who have disregarded prophetic Ministry because of all the stuff they see in the name of the prophetic that doesn't come to pass and it doesn't happen and so we don't believe the prophetic is real if I
have one thing to say to you today I would tell you this do not throw the baby out with the bath water there are crazy people in church there are crazy people at Chick-fil-A tomorrow there are crazy people in Walmart stop treating God like he's crazy just because some of the people that are crazy go to his house God is true his word cannot lie what he says will not come back void and I have lived long enough now to know that if I make room for the prophetic in my life it shifts my life
and oh come on here somebody it will provide trajectory for your future and so we have people who disregard the prophetic and Paul would rebuke the church at thessalonica and he says despise not prophesying why did he say that because people were despising Pro despising prophecy why were they despising prophecy because everybody wanted to prophesy and some people were getting carried away and they started prophesying things that were not by the spirit and Paul says just because there were some people who got a little excited doesn't mean that God is confused you got to learn
how to separate it and I preached this before and I'm not preaching again you get a prophetic word you do one or three things with it if it's from the Lord and you know it's from the Lord and it Bears witness you put Faith on it if it if you hear it and you say Okay God that's interesting you know when Jesus told Mary you're going to have a baby okay let's file that let's see if that happens we we put Faith on it but I didn't know that was going to happen and if it's
not from God you flush it faith it file it or flush it but don't treat God like God's a liar God could never lie God is true if the Lord said it I don't care how long it takes it to happen if God said it God will bring it to pass I want to tell you something about the prophetic word of God if you ever get a prophetic word of God it will never come back to God knocking on the door saying I can't do what you sent me to do the word of God carries
and contains within the word itself the power to bring the prophecy to pass and God said your timing may not be my timing but my word is my word and I will do it when I want to do it and I won't lie about what I said I would do so she made room for the prophetic and I need you to keep room for the prophetic I need all of you to keep room in your heart and mind and life for the prophetic word of God I need you to know that the word of the
Lord will not come back void according to Hebrews 4 it is sharper than any two-edged sword the rainma word of God will pierce right through the darkness into what you need that's why we're prophetic in this house I'm a prophetic Pastor I married a prophetic woman I raise prophetic kids we Pastor a prophetic church I live in a prophetic Community I survive by the prophetic word of the lord well you don't read your Bible no the prophecy I get actually lines up with the Bible and when you get a prophetic word that doesn't line up
with the Bible it's not a prophetic word from God she made room for the prophetic look at your neighbor say make room for the prophetic in your life she builds him a house and he says to gazia Servant I want to do something nice for this lady she built me a room like a prophet's quarters and I it's like a little you know like a holiday in or something I or maybe it was nicer I don't know but it was a prophet's quarters I want to do something nice for her what does she need uh
she's married to an old guy they're getting older she doesn't have a son let's give her a son wow what a gift she has a baby a couple years later that baby is sitting on his mama's knee and he dies God where are you how many know seasons of pain are part of the journey I'm not going to get no help here and I know some of you are already looking at you're watching I'm really not in I have absolutely no care what time it is right now she's sitting with her baby and he dies
and she has him on her knee he's not breathing she takes him upstairs and lays him on the prophet's bed she runs to the prophet's house gazi sees her coming he walks out hey is everything okay this is crazy I don't even understand the kind of Faith this woman had but she looks at him and says it is well your baby's at home with no pulse no heartbeat and it is well yes because sometimes you got to call things that are not as though they are and sometimes you got to quit laying down and letting
fear run over you and letting all kind of bad reports run over you at some point you have to blow the devil's mind and break the circuit box and say I'm going to say it's all right even when hell is breaking loose I'm going to say it's okay even when I don't see it lining up in my life can I tell you right now that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of Prophecy there are times you just have to RAR back and and speak things that don't make any sense to the Natural ear or
the natural mind at the end of the day I'm not just a natural man with a natural ear and a natural mind having a natural experience I serve a supernatural god with a supernatural word who has Supernatural power and can produce Supernatural results in my life everything's well reality her husband her her son is at home dead so the prophet goes back to her house she takes the prophet back I'm Expediting the story he goes into the place he he literally gets down on top of the child and and he begins to pray and he
gets up and walks around and the kid starts sneezing seven times bizarre how many would agree sneezing seven times seems absolutely wild here's the only problem the kid gets up so I don't care if he sneezes I don't care if he blows boogers out I don't care what he does he's alive yes sir well you know I'm not sure about the sneezing I don't know I'm not in the falling out camp I'm not in the can I'm in the do whatever you got to do God to get my baby back to life and you're the
only one that can do it and if the baby has to sneeze and I got to wipe his nose if I got to fall in the floor crawl in the floor roll in the floor run do a lap whatever I got to do I'm not going to let the enemy have the last word I'm going to keep my faith in the Living God talk to me Church we're standing in faith for Jojo this morning and I just believe one more time we ought to declare it we're going to we're going to see what we're waiting
for Jesus I [Music] pray sit with me baby comes back to life that painful story was a part of her history and it is how this story I read to you opens up today I am talking to you about the power of Prophecy but the story does not begin with prophecy it begins with history this is the woman whose son was restored to life if I have any kind of identity on the earth Lord I feel like preaching here if I'm known for anything in the earth may it not be that I'm known by my
seasons of struggle and my seasons of failure and my seasons of loss but may we be known as people who hung on till the restoration of God showed up may we be remembered May the May the memory of Our Lives not be defined by the pain we walked through but may they know us as the woman not who lost her son but the woman whose son got restored may they know you not as the man who lost the ministry and wasted your journey and fell apart and made a crash that might have been part of
your story but that is not how you will be remembered you will be remembered as a God as a man who knew I feel the run in my feet right here as the man who touched God and knew the restoring power of a good good father who didn't let you stay down but picked you up and gave you a future my God somebody shout if you've got a history if you've got a history with God I want you to give the Lord a [Applause] praise I've got a history I don't look like what I've come
through he's been better to me than I know how to be to myself do you have problems I've had plenty of problems many of the afflictions of the righteous but I will not be remembered as a man who was afflicted I will be remembered as a man who experienced the Deliverance of [Applause] God I got to calm [Music] down come elbow your neighbor tell a neighbor you made a mistake today you sat down beside somebody that's got a history with God I'm not just waiting on him to do something I'm here to be known and
testify for what is already done in my life if he never did one more thing for me if he never answered one more prayer if he never opened up one more door I got enough to say thank you all the days of my life thank you [Music] she she was all into the prophetic but the reason we know her how we know her is because she had history with God and so her history gives a context for her prophecy he has been faithful once before and if he did it before I've done told you Revelation
19:10 the testimony of Jesus is the spirit woo oh of Prophecy which means if you can find one testimony about what Jesus has done it is not just to be celebrated as what he's done but it is also to be embraced as what he will do again I know some of y'all don't feel what I'm feeling and you have to pardon my jerking and my gyrating today but I got something on my neck right now I can't shake and don't want to I feel the same power that rais the dead body of Jesus up out
of the Tomb I'm telling you right now your house is about to come under the blessing your marriage is about to come under the goodness of God I cancel every assignment of the devil that's been trying to rise up against you no weapon formed against you is going to be able to prosper [Music] [Applause] wooo so we have the context the history the history she is a woman who has received restoration for her son and now the prophet comes to her with a prophecy cuz even though you have a history you don't live your life
on one prophecy your prophecy may now be accomplished and that makes it part part of your history but you can't just relax and rely on History because you'll find yourself in another situation down the road where your history will testify of his faithfulness but your prophecy will get you out of the mess that's on the way Jesus I feel like teaching him so this woman has already experienced a miracle but the prophet comes and says a famine coming 7 years of famine is on the way and Lord I'm going to have to preach that thing
cuz it showed up in my reading of the text but before the famine ever started God put an expiration date on the famine I don't even know who I came to talk to today but whatever you're walking through dear lady whatever you're walking through brother if it's a mess I want to tell you before you ever jumped in the mess God put an expiration date on the mess can I preach like I like to preach you said is that in the Bible anywhere where the psalmist said weeping has an expiration date it only lasts for
a night but joy comes in the morning that's why you can't give up in the middle of a night season because if the sun ever breaks and the Darkness ever starts running I feel the joy of the Lord getting ready to rise up on somebody's life you will laugh twice as much as you prry you will dance twice as much as you wept the joy of the Lord will be your strength somebody shout [Applause] yes he said Woo we got to go but look at your neighbor tell them whatever you're dealing with whatever you're going
through tell them whatever you're wrestling with tell them whatever you're trying to understand how to process tell them it has a builtin where you at help me preach it has a I feel your Annie I feel you baby it has an expiration date which I feel it in here today I feel somebody's Joy is about to break out somebody's breakthrough is about to break count somebody's Deliverance is about to break out slap your neighbor and tell every neighbor it's about to hit your house the expiration of God is about to come on your attack it's
about to come to a conclusion yeah yeah [Music] hallelujah hallelujah I am authorized to tell you that the devil is a liar no weapon formed against you will be able to [Music] prosper to the power of God shout like I'm talking shout like I'm whispering and go here [Music] [Music] slap three people in your area cod tell them come on let's praise the Lord together come on let's Praise Him for what's getting ready to shift let's Praise Him for what's getting ready to break let's Praise Him for what's getting ready to fall let's praise him
that it's about to be in your favor help how [Music] [Music] sooo Lord have mercy I don't even know what to do but I feel restoration getting to break ready to break out in this church this morning woo so the Bible said that after s years in Philistine she came back home seven years is a long time but seven is the number of completion which means no matter how long it took when God says it's over I want you to know it's coming to an end when God said the devil's days are numbered it doesn't
matter what he did while he had the days when his days are numbered and the last day hits the calendar touch three people and tell them it's time for a turn around [Music] I'm going to expedite this one she came back home oh oh Lord she came back home after 7 years of living in another land and uh when she got home the text leads us to believe that somebody was in her house and somebody was on her land and uh she said I need to go see The King and I need to make a
petition known and when I read that I was reminded that you have not because you ask not cuz my mama said ask and it shall be given seek and you shall find knock and the door will be open shake hands one more time with your neighbor and say neighbor you better start asking God you better start asking God neighb up you better start knocking on the door you better start knocking on the door neighor you better start seeking it like you know you're about to find it so 7 years stand with me I'm through woo
seven years she was walking around in the land of the Philistines 7 years living on the enemy's territory 7 years in a place that was strange and foreign but when God said the famine was over she went back home and she kept on walking she walked by that house she had and somebody was living in her house she walked by that land she had and somebody was living on that land so what she do she kept on walking she walked all the way to the king's Palace what she do when she got there she kept
on walking and she walked into the king's presence and what she didn't know is that at the moment she walked in to the presence of the king somebody was talking to the king about her story and her past and what I came to tell somebody is you may feel like all you're doing today is just walking through but God sent me to tell you the steps of a righteous man and woman are being ordered by the Lord she walked in and while she walked in gazi was talking to the king and the King said to
gazi I want you to tell me about the Miracles of Elijah Elisha and so gazi come here come here come here come here come here so I'm gazi this is the king and gasi is telling the king about come on you look like Elijah Elisha today come on come on Elisha he's telling all the stories about what Elisha did and how Elisha raised the boy of the shite woman I got a whole I got a whole cash this is your son this is your mama two Mama Hallelujah two Mama glor watch watch watch watch she
has been walking I want you to start over there I want you to go over there by Dr John start over there and Walk This Way gazi gazi is in the king's Palace stand right here Elijah is in the king's Palace just just slowly start slowly start walking this way she's walking out of Philistines she just walking and gazi says you won't believe what God did for this woman from shim her son was dead and the prophet brought him back to life and while I gazi am telling the king about the miracle I turn around
that is the woman I'm talking about I want to tell you you are the woman Heaven's been talking about you are the man angels have been whispering about your name is in the atmosphere even when you don't know they're telling your story and the King I'm through I'm through and the King said and the King said appoint her an officer tell that officer I said give her back everything the house I'm going to preach before I go to my room the house the car the stuff I want you to put back everything that she lost
I want you to give her back everything that somebody else took I and I can hear them all saying well why did she get it back because the king said so because the why are you getting ready to be restored because the king said so and if the king makes a decree everything in the Kingdom lines up with the decree of the [Music] king this is the last thing I thought I was through cuz God will restore but I'm going to tell you what I saw saw the Bible says she asked for the house Lord
I feel like preaching the Bible says she asked for the house and she got the house back y'all getting ready to step into a miracle you two are getting ready to step into a miracle it's going to hit everything your hands wrong sweet girl when he gets through running tell him it's going to hit everything is hands on watch this well why is he running if you got what he just got you'd be running too I promise you that family she asked for the house and she got the house back she asked for the land
and she even got the land back but Carrie I got messed up when I read the next phrase because the king said I want you to give her the house back touch your neighbor tell him you about to get it back you're about to get it back you asked for it you're about to get it back you asked for your Joy back you're about to get it back you asked for some stuff in your family back you're about to get it back shake hands with another neighor and tell them you're about to get it back
you asked for it you got it you made the request you better get ready to receive you ask for it and God is about to give you the desire of your heart has anybody been asking God for anything shout like it's on its way into your life right now [Applause] you asked for it so I'm going give you the house woo you asked for the land to come back so I'm going to give you the land but um then I read the next portion of scripture and it said the king looked at the officer and
the King said and go get everything that she would have grown on that Land from the the day she left until today and give her back every bit of harvest that she would have had had she been here and when I read that I said wait a minute she asked for the house and she got the house she asked for the land and she got the land but I didn't see anywhere where she asked for the fruit and the Harvest and the Lord said to me I'm not just going to give you what you asked
for her I'm able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all you can ask or think according to the power somebody shout somebody give him glory [Music] and it said this I'm done it said and the King restored all that she had including the lands yield from the day she left and here's what I want to tell you look at the story the first scripture says this was the man a woman whose son was re stored to life first verse restoration last verse and God restored it what are you saying to me Bishop I'm saying to
you your story started with restoration you feel it don't you your story started with restoration and I came to announce on this rainy Sunday your story is going to end in restoration not one thing that the devil took while you were in philistia will'll stay in the devil's Camp shake hands with four people and tell them restore all God's about to restore it all God's about to restore it all tell your neighbor God's about to restore it all if you lost some money God's about to restore it all if you lost some friends God's about
to restore it all if you lost some children God I need somebody that's not everybody I know some people are too sophisticated and too hungry but if you know rest A's about to hit your house take a 28 second praise break and give God praise I mean really praise him I mean go to praising him I mean to praise him like it don't make any sense at all let everything that has breath praise praise praise Guys somebody do it right now [Music] [Music] put on the Garment of Praise for the spirit of heaviness lift up
your voice to God pray in the spirit and with understanding somebody magnify the Lord I feel something breaking out in this church I feel a young get destroyed where's T to God J are everybody sing come on CH to God clap your hands [Applause] [Music] go ahead go ahead get in the A and PR there on the head of the enemy [Music] [Applause] [Music] 1 2 3 everybody say to come on and to everybody leave part Jo leave part Jo pleas [Music] God all the things he done all the things he done all the [Music]
things oh I got a feeling everything's going to be all right i' got a feeling [Music] be all right if you got that kind of feeling open up your mouth and say [Applause] [Music] [Applause] yes give God will High [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Praise I just heard the spirit of God whisper one phrase tell them Joy is hitting their whole house [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Hallelujah lift those hands up all over this room right now come on Hallelujah your ladder will be greater than your past you will be blessed more than you could ask
despite all that has been done the best is yet to come come on we can do it together and your latter will be greater your ladder will be great he'd been wanting me all morning she been want me to come get her so I did and your ladder will be greater than your past let's throw our hands up and say all things are possible [Music] possible possible possible everybody say all things are possible possible Holy Ghost Holy Ghost Holy Ghost and your latter will be come on sing and your lad will be [Music] grer if
you if you needed this message I know I didn't preach to everybody but if I preached to you in your house and you needed this message and you need the god of restoration to hit your house right now throw both hands up in the air open up your mouth and begin to ask him you know what areas of your family need restoration your family your finances your business just lift your hands and ask him God let restoration the god of restoration let this anointing of restoration that I feel in my spirit it hit every [Music]
house and your ladder will be if your neighbors got their hand up reach over lay your hand on their shoulder come on we're going to pray for one another I couldn't possibly pray for everybody whose hand is up right now but if their hand is up I feel the anointing of restoration in this room come on just begin to pray thank you Jesus thank you Jesus feel it happening in this room oh so we proph sign your L will be come on your L your L will be your L will be great say my ladder
my lad will be [Music] great say my ladder my lad will so my lad will be great the end of my life my the next part of my life the next season my will [Music] beer say that one more time my ladder will be my will be it's turning in my favor my will be great my will be great in my if you're in this room today and you need to give Jesus Christ your heart and you want to follow him and be his child and you want to get your life right with God I
don't care how long you've been messed up how far away you feel how screwed up you think you are if you want Jesus to rescue you I'm counting to three and I want you to throw your hand up and say Bishop pray for me I want to give him my life and I want to follow him for the rest of my life if you you've never known him or if you've known him and you feel a million miles away and this morning you want to get right with God when I say three shoot that hand
up and say pray for me one 2 3 right now just pray for me God bless you God bless you God bless you you can put your hands down I want you to ask your neighbor on both sides of you right now say do you need someone to go to the Altar and pray with you if you lifted your hand or you should have I want you to get out of your seat come right down here and meet me and Jesus is going to save some precious people in this room today ask your neighbor all
over the room do you need somebody to go pray with you if you lifted your hand or you should have I want you to come on out of your seat and come meet me right here come on young man God bless you come on they're coming come on pal come on down here hey and your L will be greater well I trust that the word of God is working in your heart in this moment I know know the word works the Bible says that faith comes by hearing hearing by the word of God maybe something
said today has touched your heart maybe you feel like you are so far away from God how could I ever get right with God friend I want to tell you there is a way to get right with God it's through his son Jesus today if you'll turn your heart and your life over to him I don't care what you've done and how bad it was how long you've been doing it and how messed up you feel Jesus is a friend of sinners he'll come into your life he'll turn it all the way around and change
it I believe Believe by the spirit of God he's doing that right now let's pray open your heart and say dear God come into my life and forgive me of all my sin Lord Jesus I need you to wash me and make me new I confess that I've been a sinner and today I want to follow you for the rest of my life turn my life over to you Lord Jesus come in and be the king of my heart in Jesus name I pray amen hey friend if you prayed that prayer I want you to
