had to attempt legal action just to try and keep her pet whom she had named Rambo a good strong name and that definitely doesn't mean that it's a dangerous animal in any way shape or form so why exactly did she have to file legal action for her pet well that's because Rambo's an alligator that's right her pet was a real life alligator but she didn't just have an alligator she had one that she would dress up often ride on a motorcycle with and then she went so far as to actually give the alligator its own

room in the house lived in the house all his life he only knows how sounds why did she have to fight to keep her beloved Gator well the issue came down to that of size believe or not it's not actually illegal to keep certain pets like gators in Florida which isn't really a shock at all but there are key details that have to be upheld in the case of Rambo he soon grew out to be about 2 m long and thus Mary had to have a certain size of land to keep him and she couldn't

do that she had the gator for around 15 years so the idea of losing him was a non-starter for her and she had fought to keep him and in the end she was able to keep him at her house so it's a positive ending to the story but it doesn't stop the fact that this is about a Florida woman thinking it's a good idea to have a gator as a pet and then using it to raise money for Charities and various other community events yes she did that but what else would you expect from Florida

would be fun and of course drug kingpins what needs to be said here is that when it comes to the exotic pet Market there are more ways to get the kind of pets you want so as long as you have the money to afford getting them the catch is not all of it's legal which which is why we have to cast a little bit of Doubt on our influencer friend here after all if she was able to get a lion and use it in her videos wouldn't that attract attention of certain authorities as always you

zoo that would be better suited for the snake so there you go you wouldn't think of a snake being a protector of a young child in a house and yet that's exactly what happened it shows that human and animal relations are sometimes much more wild than you may think number 18 Mike Tyson's Tigers if there is anyone truly like Mike Tyson in the world today I would be surprised I say that because whether you look at his early days as a boxing Legend and KO expert or you look at his more recent times as a

pop culture icon who hopefully will KO a certain influencer and supposed boxer that keeps running his mouth he's definitely one of a kind however due to his views on things he sometimes makes decisions that are questionable at best for example did you know that he once had tigers in his house in fact he had three of them over the years Boris storm and Kenya well that kind of fits in with who he is really and these weren't short fads of his oh no he actually owned Kenya for 16 years and they had a close bond

for whatever it's worth while we don't know what exactly happened to all of these Tigers there is one that we do know the fate of one of them had an incident in which someone had tried to trespass on Tyson's property and the tiger promptly took care of that individual the person may have deserved it but no one should get mauled by a tiger and Tyson had to pay out $250,000 as a result but that would not be the end rather he kept one of them until their health started to decline and he was told to

release it and so he did he actually got the Tigers when he was in prison he found out that the guy that he got cars from also could get him some tigers so he literally pounced on the opportunity to get them as such once he was out of prison the Tigers were waiting for him there number 17 the reptile Lover now don't take that phrase out of context it's only about a guy who really loves to collect reptiles over the course of two decades reptile Enthusiast Philipe Gillette had amassed a collection of more than 400

phobia inducing animals which included rattlesnakes tarantulas and lizards all in his home in Western France and it really kind of puts the notion of the crazy cat lady to shame because this is the crazy reptile guy and yes I know that spiders are not reptiles but a majority of his pets are reptile related the key thing to note about his collection was that it wasn't the case of him constantly going to stores and whatnot and buying everything in sight but instead it was about him rescuing various Critters who had been abandoned or who were going

a separate room so as not to scare anyone even with that that I'm not going to be visiting him and I don't even want to think about what it might cost to maintain that house and keep all of those creatures fed and happy it truly just goes to show you how much he loves the reptiles and other things in his possession number 16 pet hyena have you ever watched The Lion King you may have an inherent bias against hyenas after all they were the cause of many bad things in the pride lands even if it

was at the behest of Scar regardless hyenas aren't exactly the nicest creatures around so no one would be stupid enough to have one as a pet right well one guy in Florida did and it didn't exactly go that great because not only did he acquire a hyena but he was keeping one inside of his apartment in Miami without a permit or a license meaning that he was literally illegally owning this pet and that's Florida for you how he kept it for a year without getting caught is beyond me however what can be said was that

he was smart enough to give it up eventually and place it in an animal reserve the hyena goes by the name of Jake and once placed in a proper home it was more than happy to thrive and survive the story of Jake and his former owner was made into an episode of The Animal Planet show fatal attractions which is a unique way of framing things for sure number 15 Messi the Puma this Puma was owned by a Russian couple by the name of Alexander and Maria proving that Russians really do love their big cats for

one reason or another just as important is that their cat isn't only a pet it's a model and celebrity on the internet I mean after all they even have an Instagram and YouTube account that's dedicated solely to the Puma but how did these two get their hands on a puma in the first place that's the real question well that would be because they found it in a zoo and were told that it needed special care to ensure it would keep living to that end they then actually convinced that Zoo to let them adopt it and

they slowly nursed it back to health on the one hand they clearly do love their puma and have taken great care of it but they also have a wide stretch of land to raise it so you could say it's a special case when it comes to taking in a big cat number 14 cheetah pets back in 2013 a family from South Africa made waves when they took pictures and video of their two children playing in a miniature Jeep toy and their co-pilots were a couple of cheetahs apparently the family had a adopted the big cats

and they were just fine growing up alongside of the human children but how did this unique family Dynamic come to be well that would be because the parents were actually Rangers at a nearby animal reservation and they were there when a mother cheetah gave birth to four Cubs the couple then adopted two of those Cubs and then brought them home to raise and live amongst their own children and it's been a blast for them ever since the kids were incredibly kind to the cats and the cats in turn have showed love right back now while

we don't know what happened happened with them in the decade since it should be noted that the parents did indeed release the Cheetahs back into the wild even teaching them to hunt on their own so they wouldn't be fully domesticated number 13 Wild Thing here I'm going to be talking about a bison that was named Wild Thing yes somebody had a pet bison and it was named Wild Thing in Texas because everything is bigger in Texas Ronnie and Sharon Bridges don't only have a pet bison named wild thing but they have given it its own

room to live in in the house now you may think that they have to spend a lot of money fixing the things that he breaks but that's apparently not the case at all according to them he's a perfect gentleman when he's inside the house and he's only wild when he's on the outside Wild Thing loves to watch television and even though he can't turn it on himself or even change the channels he does prefer cartoons which we can all appreciate he also apparently hates the news new and I appreciate that as well while this is

truly a wild story I want to end this one by noting that you should never try and make this happen in your own home should the opportunity arise because it's definitely not typical behavior for a bison number 12 Damian and the gorilla meet Damen Aspen a rich man who had a lot of dreams but one of his biggest and most respected dreams was to help animals in need the animal lover began the Aspen Foundation that re introduces captive gorillas back into the wild when he had met a gorilla named quebe he treated him as if

he were his own son the two formed a great tight Bond but true to his word and the point of his foundation Damen had to release quey back into the wild that should be the end of the story but you all know that's not going to be the case with this video as was part of the plan once quebe was back in the wild the gorilla went back to his natural wild State and had apparently become rather aggressive toward humans but that didn't stop Damen from trying to meet his furry son once again and that's

when something truly amazing happened once the two had reunited quebe hugged his dad and the two played together in the grass it absolutely defied all logic but it also shows some bonds transcend whatever happens once they separate number 11 Jessica the hippo if you've been on this channel long enough you'll know that I've warned you about the various dangers of hippos over the years they're dangerous animals and should never be seen simp L as hungry creatures one of the few exceptions to that is Jessica the hippo she was found by Tony and Shirley zuar of

South Africa and the hippo's mother was across the river unable to take care of her child due to exhaustion as such the human Duo rais Jessica as their own and it frequently comes to visit them defying all logic in the process Jessica sleeps in the house and is approachable for humans she's so popular that she became a tourist attraction for people in the country and people could be guided on what hotels to get and be within range of seeing the hippo the difference between this story and any other hippo story is really kind of simple

they raised Jessica from birth and thus formed an important Bond however hippos are still one of the most dangerous creatures in the world and so you should keep your distance number 10 crocodile I began this video with a story of an alligator and now I'm going to start the back half of the video by telling you about a tale of a twood decade old crocodile now this started with a man from Indonesia named Irwin he had seen some children abusing a baby crocodile and then he went to stop them and adopted the crocodile for himself

he then named The Croc coek and began to raise him as his own child fast forward 21 years and the natural resources conservation agency of Indonesia finally realized that Irwin had the crocodile and had to take him away after all it was against the law to have a protected animal as a pet now honestly I feel bad for the man as he had cared for that pet for decades and then to watch Cojack be taken away like that must have been absolutely heartbreaking number nine pasqualina when it comes to animals some are more wild than

the next and that's why some of them literally have wild in their name for example there are wild bores that many hunt to get food from or to stop from rampaging on their land but in Italy one couple found a boar in desperate need of help and decided to nurse it back to health they named it pascalina and they've been caring for it ever since Not only was it a good pet but when the mail owner would go to relax on the sofa pasqualina would go and join him and even nuzzle into him to show

affection even when it got bigger it was a perfect house guest including interacting perfectly with dogs and cats that the Italian couple had had but again as always it's a rare circumstance and nobody should trust and do it at home number eight age the polar bear now we're escalating things quite a bit where we're going to talk about a quite ferocious and deadly animal that of being a polar bear this is the story of a gee the polar bear who is a very special bear for a multitude of reasons the biggest reason is that she

was raised by a couple in British Columbia isn't is that your daddy are you happy and then trained to be both an Entertainer and a film star equally as interesting she had a very loving relationship with her original owners and they could even go right up and hug the bear without any kind of issues the only catch was that she was never around any of her own kind after 26 years together with humans her owners finally admitted that they could not take care of aggee anymore and as a result they had to turn her over

to a park zoo thankfully there were experts there that were taking care of polar bears and they willingly welcomed her into their ranks number seven Brutus the bear here's another story let me introduce you to Brutus the bear he's a full-on half tongue grizzly bear who's so used to humans that he will actually sit at the dinner table with the family who raised him that family would be the Anderson who is headed up by Casey who found and raised Brutus since he was born despite being over 2 m tall now Brutus is quite the gentle

giant and was trained to behave really well and for proof of that you only need to look at the Anderson's wedding in which Brutus actually played the role of Casey's best man now is this awesome Yes it really is and I'm sure that many of you would just love to have this kind of pet in your home but again it's not something that you should try on your own number six Roxy and moo Roxy Dan wartz is the founder of wildest life an animal sanctuary in Zimbabwe and one day while working she stumbled on a

baby elephant that seemed to be lost and separated from Her Herd however in actuality that elephant wasn't just lost she was only a few days old and that led to her almost drowning in a river before being saved by Roxy Roxy did initially try to find the herd and reunite them but they were nowhere to be found as a result Roxy named The Elephant moyo and the two have been best friends ever since the two are so close that moo will actually follow Roxy everywhere and even sit on the couch and sleep next to her

if that's not love well I don't really know what is a simple act of kindness led to not only a lifelong friendship being allowed to continue but a fun one that will never be forgotten number five Gilbert the badger this is mac and Melody white they live in Montana and they own a cattle ranch they have many different animals on that ranch but easily one of the weirdest and perhaps most unique is Gilbert the badger by all accounts a badger like this should not have been in the area and yet there it was and when

they found it Gilbert was small and alone in fact it could fit into the palm of their hands so that's when Mack decided to give that Badger to Melody as a Mother's Day gift and pulled it out and went ah this is a badger and then they spent the next 16 plus years together that's right they raised that Badger for as long and never had an issue with it and they even likened it to a mixture between a cat and a dog the only issue they had was when Gilbert got older and he had to

be kept separate to ensure safety and keep the peace number four girl and her owl here's a story that you'll likely think is a hoot many of you have likely dreamed of owning an owl as a pet maybe because of the Harry Potter franchise maybe clash of the Champions but it's actually a bit more rare than you may think regardless when it came to this young lady and her owl not only are they they close but she is much more than willing to hug it and kiss it and show it all kinds of affection and

even the owl itself doesn't seem to be the biggest fan of the idea still though the fact that it didn't try to fly away or even claw her to death well that shows a comfort level that exists between the two number three Emma the Moose here's Emma she's a moose if you can't tell and for the woman who found this moose her life was going to be changed Forever by her own account she had found Emma when she was just a few days old the young moose had lost her mother and so she didn't have

anyone to take care of her that's when the woman stepped in and became the mother of the Moose raising the wild moose would not be the easiest of things to do moose are known to be aggressive and can really do some damage to you if you aren't minding your p's and q's and so the woman had to take great care and caution if she were going to be its mother it was much more wild than the horse that she were used to but over time the two were able to form a special bond and raising

Emma would help the woman in other aspects of her life which included raising her own horses it might sound kind of like a Disney style movie plot but in the end it is the real deal number two possum now we've all heard of playing possum but do you know someone who's actually playing with a possum this is the tale of how barley the posum was found and raised by Leah Murray Barley's family was tragically killed by a car a woman found the mother possum and took it to the vet where a startling Discovery would be

made that there was a baby in her pouch and it was actually still alive possums are marsupial who are known for their adaptability and unique behaviors they are a nocturnal creature of medium size and they're characterized by grayish fur tails and opposable thumbs on their hind feet they are a rather opportunistic omnivore that consumes a varied diet of fruits insects small animals and even car and that makes them vital for controlling pest populations while cleaning up the environment one of the most distinctive behaviors of the possum is playing dead or as it is Known playing

possum when they feel threatened they enter a catatonic State appearing to be lifeless in order to deter any kind of predators and this involuntary response can last anywhere from a few minutes to several hours and so the woman not knowing whether or not the posum was actually dead took it to the vet in order to get it checked out while the vet did not give the posum much of a chance Leah Murray wanted to at least give it a chance at life so she took it home and raised barley by herself surely enough barley was

nursed back to full health and became a full-on part of Leah's life and family and she even shows them off to people to help break the stigmas about possums in general number one pet kangaroo I'm going to be ending this with another long-desired pet by many people that would be a kangaroo and why wouldn't you want a creature like this they're fun hilarious and can box people to death and they're just one of the coolest looking animals around for Australian YouTuber Jackson odori it wasn't a fantasy it became a reality he not only had a
