[Music] Shane - Quiver killers. It's a hot topic, it's something that people hear a lot. What is it?
Right, yeah. So it means something to everyone. It can mean something totally different to me than it is for you, but at the end of the day, it's a board that's going to function everywhere, get you anywhere you need to be in any conditions and have a hell of a lot of fun doing it.
So, one board that does everything well. Exactly, a jack of all trades. Yep, so perfect segue into, in my opinion, the best all-around board for everything - and that's the Custom.
It's been in our line for years and what makes this board really versatile is that it is basically a twin from here to here, it just has a little taller nose. Flex is the same front and rear, it's just got a little taller nose for when you get into those situations where you need a little taller nose for for deeper snow. It still maintains that twin flex, so if you are riding it in some deep snow, as soon as you flip this thing around to switch and start jumping in the park it just really comes alive with that twin flex.
Yeah, and you definitely see that within our team. Slopestyle, pipe, backcountry. They're riding this thing everywhere.
There's podiums on this board anywhere from X Games to Olympic halfpipe to slopestyle and even Natural Selection and big mountain contests. Yeah, Custom. Know and love that one, you definitely can't go wrong putting anybody on that.
So then the ladies get the Feelgood. Essentially the same type of model with the twin flex, a little taller nose, but in a women's-specific model. So Shane, what makes this one a little bit better for women?
Yeah, so essentially it's the same board scaled down. A little bit different materials, women's-specific uh fiberglass layup. Triax, we call it.
And then materials to make it a little bit torsionally softer to account for that lighter weighted rider. So why would somebody want something that's a little bit softer for lighter weight? Yeah, just overall maneuverability of the board.
That's what engages your turns, it helps the board react. Popping, snapping, things like that. So it is important to to get the right board for your weight class.
To follow too, with the Custom and the Feelgood being the best all-around boards -and they are some of our very bestselling boards - we also offer two different bends. We offer the traditional camber for that edge hold, power, and pop. But we also offer the Flying V, which is our hybrid.
So, rocker between the feet, camber just underneath the feet, and then rocker past the nose. So if you are primarily riding in you soft, slushy snow or if you're little bit more powder-centric or if you want something that just turns a little easier, maybe more of an intermediate rider, The Flying V might be a good option as well. Totally and that plays in even more to the versatility of it.

Not exactly for the faint of heart. You know, this board is the same build as the Custom but with our highest-end, stiffest, most aggressive, materials. So, a bunch of added carbon, things like that keep it very light, very durable, but very stiff, very responsive.
Not exactly for your-entry level, beginner riders. This is definitely a step up as far as the the play of the board, but overall the same attitude as that Custom with twin flex and directional shape that really just comes alive anywhere on the mountain. Yep, so just better material, stiffer, more aggressive.
Camber only this year. That's right. So, one of my personal favorites.

You, being in Utah, you're probably intimately familiar with this one. What are your thoughts on this one being a quiver killer? That's absolutely right!
Yes, this thing is absolutely a part of my quiver, it does not leave my truck. I love this thing. Being in Utah, riding at Brighton, riding at some of those bigger mountains, we get our pow days for sure but they don't always last forever.
So, this thing is amazing for those powder mornings and park afternoons being that it is a twin flex with that directional shape. It floats in the pow, but then in the afternoons I can go to the park and I'm not afraid to jib this thing, land switch, whatever. Yeah well, even for me.
You know I live in the midwest, but it's not necessarily just a big mountain board. This thing works really well on hardpack. It holds a killer edge, does have 12 millimeters of taper.
It's past the upturn, so it's not going to be super directional and rides switch really good. But you know, if somebody is looking for one board but they are taking some trips. .
. Say, I live in the midwest, I take some trips out to visit you in Utah or whatever and I want to bring one board. We don't know if it's going to snow or not.
If it does, we got that nose. if not, we're doing park laps. That's what I like about the Hometown Hero and it works great everywhere.
It's not just an out west board. Absolutely, yeah it is pretty torsionally soft regardless of the size because we we wanted this board to work everywhere. Whether you're running through super tight quick little trees or big wide open fields of powder, we wanted this board to come alive in in all conditions.
Yeah, killer foot steer Shane. A little softer between the feet, and what's cool about the Family Tree is that they are unisex. There's extended sizing, this comes in a lot of sizes.
It's more about the size of the rider, not their gender. So we've got small little tiny ones all the way up to the big dogs. Yeah, featured in the smalls collection as well for for the kiddos to have just as much fun as the big dogs.
