what's up everybody TCM here back with another video and today's video is going to be pretty short because it's an announcement video I am very excited to announce our new certification exam which is the pjpt or the Practical Junior penetration tester exam let's check it out really quick so what is the pjpt exam anyway well if we look through the website just a little bit you'll get some details this is meant to be our precursor to the pnpt so the pmpt is more of an intermediate level this is a beginner level exam what is different
about this well you are dropped into an internal Network and you're going to perform an internal Network pen test what does that mean that means lots of active directory exploitation and hacking which we do teach you in the training material so you're going to get two days to attempt this and you're gonna have another two days to write a report a lot of you ask how does this differ from the PMP T well the pmbt is harder as an exam so if you're new to the field and you don't want to attempt a very difficult
exam to start out with an entry-level exam like the pjpt is a great starting point this allows you to get your feet wet to get the training underway and it actually does help with some of the pmpt exam because maybe there's just a little bit of overlap in there so with this exam you aren't asked to do osin you aren't asked to do an external pen test you're not asked to do pivoting you don't have to do a debrief so again it's a little bit easier all those things I just mentioned are in the pmpt
exam and some of you ask okay well what knowledge do I really need for this well we do provide training with this so all you need is this basic computer and networking knowledge so if you've got a plus net plus type knowledge we'll guide you through the rest we do cover a lot of that we cover Linux we cover Python and we get into hacking and it's really awesome there's 25 hours of material just for this certification so all the information is on the website which we'll Link in the description below you may be asking
as well hey what does it come with well it does come with your attempt it does come with a free retake everything is Lifetime as always and you do get lifetime access to the training if we ever update the training you have access to that for life regardless if you pass your exam and 10 years down the road you're still on access you'll have it so one last question we've been getting a lot of so far since we launched was hey what's the difference between other vendors well our main competitors at this point would be
the ejpt exam in the pen Test Plus exam both of those exams are multiple choice the ejpt does have some lab environment but you are answering multiple choice questions to go along with it in our exam you are doing a Hands-On exam all of our exams are practical that's what is meant to be all of our exams are also very affordable and meant to simulate realism so that's really what we're getting here is you're getting a realistic exam active directory and none the other exams offer active directory fully Hands-On no multiple choice so if you
