ABC finally said enough is enough and by that I mean they slashed Sunny's salary from $8 million a year to $5 million starting in 2025 yep a $3 million pay cut that's a big ouch oh and those raises she was supposed to get the ones that would have bumped her to 12 million yeah canceled poof gone like imagine being promised a giant cake and someone just takes away before you even get a bite but wait it gets worse they've also benched her from appearing on other shows to make extra money it's like she's grounded and
instead of her parents wagging their fingers it's Disney exec saying nope not today sunny why all this sudden tough love well insiders are saying Disney and ABC blame her for the views ratings going down the drain and okay that's a bold claim because let's be real this is a show where everyone takes turns setting Twitter on fire but apparently Sunny's Antics have outdone even hoopy Goldberg in the making producers lose sleep Department Sunny host over at the view had some Choice words for Britney momes who's married to the other Mahomes guy who plays for the

it's sunny we know now that he will have almost unfettered power and so I worry not about myself actually I don't worry about my station in life I worry about the working class I worry about my mother a retired teacher I worry about our elderly and their social security and their Medicare I worry about my children's future especially my daughter who has less rights than I have I know that as a country it's very difficult for people to to believe that racism and misogyny they're just alive and well I think that we don't want to
think that about ourselves our neighbors our friends um but it it's my lived experience tells me that it does still exist meanwhile Bob Iger and Disney seem unbothered like they're holding their ground Bob's probably just thinking uh another fire to put out because let's let's face it Disney's got a lot going on right now between the floundering streaming service Park attendance dipping and now this view debacle I honestly don't know how the guy sleeps at night but back to Sunny the rumors are swirling and they're juicy apparently ABC is actually considering firing her yep the
firing word is officially on the table they're even talking about bringing in someone new someone who could maybe shake things up and challenge whoopy and Joy's views uh good luck with that right and while Sunny's fighting to keep her spot she's also doubling down on her fiery takes exex reportedly asked her to tone it down and she was like nope not going to happen you can almost picture her saying nobody tells me what to do but here's the thing at this point Sunny might need to dust off her resume because honestly things aren't looking great
for her let's zoom out for a second though is sunny really the problem here I mean the view has always been built on controversy right that is now the person that's going to be chw she was on television you know I've known at least at least listen everything in life is relative people denialism is a very big people tuned in for the drama it's like a soap opera but with coffee cups instead of love triangles the problem is somewhere along the way the formula stopped working now instead of sparking meaningful conversations it's just one big
