The other day, the internet went crazy about a dress my wife had on. Now, they didn't say anything about the $4 million that was raised for the United Negro College Fund. They never mentioned that she prayed until heaven came down, but insecure, jealous, petty, small winded people got in their feelings.
And this dude started a church and kept cussing. Nobody in black church said nothing. You would have thought all the pastors would have came >> a bisexual like Jamal Bryant >> and his no good wife, his second wife.
>> Amen. She's no good either. >> Um, a preacher presented his wife the other day and uh looking like a $2 >> would have walked in his church with such a dress on.
He would have had something to say as well as the people in that congregation. And anybody who go to church, y'all know that I'm telling the damn truth. They would have judged that woman and been so judgmental towards her that it didn't make no goddamn sense.
So don't sit up there and act like we the people are sitting here overreacting. I don't give a damn how tea her body is or how good she looked in that dress, whatever the case may. >> Cut the way silly women grinning.
I bought her the dress. I bought her the dress. And then silly women, amen.
Amen. Falling. I'm like, you stupid women.
Pastor Jamal Bryant's trifling wife, Carrie Bryant's BBL, has had the internet in shambles for weeks, and Cat Williams just stepped into the chat to drag her even deeper into filth. Remember when Cat went off on these pastors for not living by what they preach? Well, it looks like he wasn't wrong because, baby, all these pastors and their wives have been doing the absolute most on social media these days.
At this point, it's hard to tell if they are living by the word or by the world. Cuz what business does a pastor's wife have going to Turkey for a BBL and then wearing revealing clothes to show it off? Girl, you cannot make this up.
Now, if you've been on the internet these past few days, you already know that these pastors have been on fire ever since Duski made a skit calling them out for preaching about humility, but living the exact opposite of what they preach to their congregations. I had somebody in the congregation ask why I'm wearing Christian Dior and Christian Lubatons. >> CUZ I'M A CHRISTIAN AND I WALK IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS.
GIVE HIM SOME PRAISE. I'M A CHRISTIAN FIRST AND I WALK IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS. GIVE HIM SOME PRAISE.
>> Their church members are barely getting by, barely have any money, and owe thousands of dollars in credit card debt. But these so-called pastors still demand that they donate thousands of dollars so they can use it to fund their lavish lifestyle. And when they don't get their way, they lock them up in the church or emotionally manipulate them into giving more than they can afford to.
>> We are raising funds for a project in Zimbabwe. Yes, we are trying to get our congregation over in Africa. Amen.
We wanted to raise $4 million for that. Amen. Hallelujah.
>> Hallelujah. That needs to appear today. >> We are not letting anyone leave until we reach our goal.
Amen. >> Hallelujah. Life savings here.
Give them >> Duski's skit had these pastors and their folks punani pressed even though he actually didn't say or do anything wrong. There was nothing in that skit that he acted out that wasn't true. These pastors have in fact been squeezing their congregation's pockets all in the name of sewing a seed.
while they live a life their members can only dream of. >> With the vision of Perfecting Church of sewing this seed of $1,000 plus $235 and receiving the blessings to come to all that participated >> now that that's only $1,200. >> Yes.
>> Y'all not listening to what I'm saying. If you have a,000 plus a,000. >> Okay.
>> Well, I'm going to work on the other $800. >> Well, that ain't what I asked you to do. Now, for some reason, everyone in their mama was acting like he's some demon that was sent to disrupt the church.
You cannot make this up. Multiple pastors were coming out of the woodwork to slam him, and the people were also accusing him of mocking God. Mind you, there was nowhere in that skit that he said anything about God.
He was acting out the circus that has been going on in many churches over the last few years. >> How you feeling, Pastor Mike? I don't even know really what happened cuz I've been off of social media.
I had a few people TELL ME WHAT WAS GOING ON. I WAS LIKE THAT'S CRAZY. I don't even got a Rolls-Royce.
WHAT I like like I didn't I DIDN'T KNOW LIKE I I I like people AI and pictures. >> Church is finally here. None of this would be possible without y'all and God.
>> We celebrating tonight. >> I am just not with y'all. >> Now when it comes to Jamal Bryant and his wife, there was already a lot of controversy surrounding them before this recent controversy.
That was actually part of the reason folks took this so personally and went off on them. You see, unlike most pastors who are more concerned with feeding their congregation with the word, when Jamal isn't in church sucking the pockets of them folks, he is occupying his time by hanging around these celebrities and politicians. Basically, he can't seem to decide whether he wants to be famous or be a pastor.
And when it comes to the controversies he's been involved in before this mess with his wife, baby, it's plenty. For starters, back when he was married to his ex-wife, Jazelle Bryant, that marriage ended in a messy divorce after she caught him cheating with other women and even had a child outside of the marriage. It's one thing to cheat, but starting a whole new family while at it is just nasty work.
Not only that, years after their divorce, it was also revealed that he was having multiple extrammarital affairs with a lot of women in his congregation. And those children he had out of wedlock were actually way more than we thought. >> What happened?
I stepped rolling outside of my marriage and had a a extrammarital affair that ultimately ended uh in a divorce to an incredibly wonderful woman. Uh not because anything was flawed in the marriage or in her uh but in my own uh immaturity for the level that I was getting ready to go into. Uh, and when that happened, uh, I think I was one of the first, if not the first, I don't want to, uh, take the the honor, uh, the first real black pastor to go through, uh, being castigated over the internet.
>> And as if all these things weren't bad enough, he and the entire church of New Birth were right back in the news again for all the wrong reasons when the former leader and founder, Bishop Eddie Long, was exposed for allegedly trying to force some of the men in the church into gay freakoffs and DL relationships. Initially four men came forward with these allegations. Still that number was later increased to five and girl they all accused him of coercing them into relationships as teens and young adults via Longfellow's youth academy.
>> Get the sound of his voice out of my head. And I cannot forget the smell of his cologne. And I cannot forget the way that he made me cry many nights when I drove in his cars on the way home.
Not able to take enough showers to wipe the smell of him off. suits alleged Long used scripture, cars, jewelry, and trips on his private plane in a seduction. >> That's not a father.
That's a p. >> He was allegedly tricking them into getting in bed with him by offering them expensive gifts, cars, trips, some of which were out of the country, all with the money that the church was giving in offerings, tithes, and seed sewing. The lawsuits were eventually settled out of court, but Bishop Eddie was still fighting them till his death.
It was after he died in 2017 that Pastor Jamal stepped in in 2018, but he clearly ain't any better. In December 2022, Pastor Jamal Bryant sparked major controversy during an appearance on the Cool Soror podcast, where he proposed that New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, which he described as the largest landowning black church in America, should legally grow cannabis on its property. Now, even though this is a wonderful avenue to make a lot of money for the church, a lot of people went off on him, claiming that he isn't concerned about spreading the gospel and that he only wants to make as many Benjamins from the church before someone else takes over.
>> I'm looking for people that smell like No, no, really is New Birth is the largest landowning black church in America. And so my position to my deacons is why aren't we not raising cannabis? I'll be able to bring in black males.
They're able to do it legally. >> I'm teaching them farming. >> Oh my god.
>> I'm helping them to enhance the ecosystem. Uh that this is the kind of conversation. So if the guy black boy in bank said they grow at the church.
>> Anyway, going back to him and his wife Dr Carrie Turner Bryant. They got married after he and Jazelle ended things. And even that came with a lot of backlash because people were still not over what he did to her.
But baby, it was nowhere near the recent controversy that erupted a few days ago when Carrie wore a strapless form fitting black and nude illusion gown with lace detailing and sheer panels to the UNCF Atlanta Mayor's masked ball fundraiser. Yes, she looked good, but folks were not here for it, claiming that it was too revealing and sexy and that it was inappropriate for a pastor's wife. While some people were calling her out on the dress, others also peeped that her body was looking a little bit more snatched than usual and accused her of allegedly getting some procedure done to enhance her curves.
Basically, they were saying she got a BBL. But baby, Pastor Jamal wasn't here for this and he went off on everyone to defend his wife. He said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the dress that she wore and that the people accusing her of dressing inappropriately and having a BBL are just jealous and inexperienced.
And in case you were wondering if he bought her that dress, he confirmed that he was in fact the one who bought her the dress and even gave her the go-ahad to wear it. Oh, and he even put up this shady caption that said, "The dress issue was dealt with last night at New Birth. Now, we must address black unemployment, protection for the undocumented, health care for the underserved, and access to higher education.
By the way, over 100 people got saved last night, and over 1,000 kids were in our youth program. It's up from here. Now, as you can imagine, many people still didn't have it, including other pastors and bishops.
However, some of them took it a little too far by calling Carrie some nasty names. Bishop Patrick Wooden got on his pulpit and called Carrie a $2304. And Pastor Dwan B.
Rich called Jamal a bisexual pim, basically accusing him of using the dress to advertise his wife to potential clients. Girl, these pastors were not holding back. Um, a preacher presented his wife the other day and um I guess you call that a a flesh colored dress.
I don't know. I don't know. It's black dress and flesh color.
It gives the illusion that she's not wearing anything underneath. And uh I heard the preacher when he defended her dress by saying first of all he bought the dress and then he said I want to address uh people who don't know anything who haven't been anywhere who don't know nothing. Uh, so I guess our objection to a man of the cloth presenting his wife uh in public uh looking like a $2 two at least two.
The church has fallen so far now that a a bisexual like Jamal Bryant >> and his no good wife, his second wife, >> Amen, she's no good either, wore that dress, I talked about it last week, wore that dress with her tail out, whether it's a flesh dress or not. >> But here's the wicked thing. The church has fallen so far that Christians think it's funny that they've used uh the internet and AI to put my pastor in address.
>> And one thing I know he ain't and that's a fact. >> And I know we got new members in here, but let me go old school cuz see I probably ran y'all back in the day, but my pastor won't no f >> He won't no f He ain't no f and he's a man's man. And ain't nothing funny about people playing put him in his wrist.
>> Anyway, it's unclear whether Jamal or Carrie has seen the disgusting comments these other pastors made about them. But whatever they heard was enough for Carrie to come out and defend herself, even after Jamal had already done so. >> Did you have even a sliver of doubt before you walked out to go to the event about the dress and and that it might create a stir?
>> People have said, "Oh, you know, she knew it would get this reaction. My ego is not that big. I don't dress for people.
I dress for myself and for my husband. Um I am a wife. Yeah.
And the challenge is we often want to see a woman be onedimensional. I am multi-dimensional. Now what you choose to call me on whatever day is is fine for whatever that might be.
But I think that there is this idea that a woman can only be one thing. And once I I happened to marry a pastor. And so with that came the title of first lady, but there is no there is no book for that.
There is no manual for what that looks like. >> Now, while all this was happening, everyone was bringing up Cat Williams, claiming that he called this BS out way before it happened. He didn't talk specifically about Pastor Jamal, but he made some comments about these megaurch pastors not actually being a great example of what they preached to their congregations.
So, um I don't wonder why stuff gets moved out of my way because I asked for things to be moved out of my way. Like you asked earlier like aren't you scared? Like I'm not allowed to be scared because I'm not counting on me.
Like um you can't me up because you're not allowed me up. And I've been in enough situations to know that he ain't let me down yet. Like every time I needed his safety, it was there.
>> Yeah. >> And will be. And the more times you communicate, the better the relationship is.
>> Girl, these megaurch pastors are playing in these people's faces. And that's exactly what Duski was talking about in that skit. As usual, people had their thoughts.
Like this person who said, "Sitting up in a damn church with a gay pastor with an old wife, first lady of the church with a Cardi BBBL. Y'all about to stop playing with God, too, because he's coming for the false prophets first. " Jamal Bryant, Marvin Sap, Wanita Binham, and Peter Popoff.
Another person said, "I'm never going to defend Jamal Bryant, but if a pastor felt comfortable enough to call my wife a $2, he would just have to see me. There's not enough pastor in me to let that slide. Lmmao, sorry, but now I want to know your thoughts.
What do you think of Pastor and his wife getting called out by Cat Williams? And do you really think the allegations that she had a BBL are true? Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below.
