Duty a while back we did talk about this in cover I'll go ahead showcase the footage once again in case you may have missed that video but this is actually a very massive crossover it's a lot bigger than some of the other crossovers that we've seen in MW3 and an MW2 now you're probably wondering what makes this crossover so massive well first off this is not just a Call of Duty and Squid game crossover this is actually a Microsoft and Squid game crossover so meaning that there's a lot more money invested into this and hence
at the end of the day it probably means more content for us in Call of Duty but they've uploaded a couple of different trailers a couple of different teasers Xbox also streamed a massive event where they had a entire venue just dedicated and themed around around squid games players are able to play Call of Duty in it and also get rewards such as scuf controllers that were themed around squid game so marketing has been at an all-time high when it comes to these two crossing over now the reason why we believe this is going to
be such a massive crossover for Call of Duty is the fact that we have a update which has actually been added to the database from my understanding we thought this update was going to get pushed out a couple of days ago it looks like they're saving it for the new year and this is around 5 GB of straight content in regards to this so it looks like they're basing an entire title update for this crossover and the thing about this crossover is usually when they announce them they'll tell you okay this bundle is going to
be coming into the store at some point and then they'll tell you about the event but Call of Duty has been very silent about that and in the blog post itself they've been mentioning that they're going to actually do a separate blog and give us more details on it so if this crossover is going to have a blog post all on its own it's definitely going to have a massive amount of content that they're going to cover for us in it now Call of Duty did show us another teaser image but before we talk about

and you can use code tridzo to get that discount so and your lag now check out the link in the description and download exit lag now the good thing is they actually went ahead and posted a second teaser over on the Call of Duty Twitter and Instagram Pages this image as you see here showcases the squid game henchman in the area 99 map it looks like there are a bunch of them and they're all surrounding this one person which they're staring at here and as you can see from the arm that's barely visible is this
is actually one of the players so three different operator skins have been teased so far based on the teasers that Call of Duty has given us first off you have the henchman I'm going to count all these different shapes that they have like the square the circle and the triangle I'll count that as one operator I'm guessing that they are going to be within the same bundle it wouldn't make sense to sell them in different bundles just because the markings on their face are a different shape The Operators overall look almost exactly the same I'm
going to guess all three of them will be there and then there's also a blueprint that they went ahead and tease in a different photo so this is the first set of operators that you can expect now the second set of operators are going to be the ones participating in the game these are the ones in that green jumpsuit which they sort of teased here in this phot photo you can see from the arm and it's pretty obvious that they would include some of the main characters in it which in this case the story follows
the characters that are wearing that Green jumpsuit and participate in this game and then the third operator that we have this one is the front man so he's like the main person that overseas and controls this entire event and we saw him in the background with the photo that Call of Duty teas and then there's also the other potential set of operators which we haven't seen any teasers for and these are the rich people that come in and watch these games so and they're dressed in a golden mask which resembles an animal and then they're
also wearing a suit so this is a potential another set that they can add in and we're probably going to get more information on that with more teaser surfacing but following that obviously because this event is massive it's not going to be only operators so Call of Duty within the blog post actually said some interesting things they said squid game gets the green light to come to Call of Duty Black Ops 6 look for limited time modes in multiplayer zombies and War Zone in season get your numbers up and drop in more information coming soon
and as I mentioned earlier in the video they did indicate there would be another blog post for this event so first off they've confirmed limited time modes it's not going to be one of those simple crossovers where all they do is add the operator skins and maybe give us like a small XP based event and that would be it this is actually going to be a much bigger event which will feature some modes now there's a lot of popular different games that were available in Squid game and they also tease in the first sentence is
Red Light Green Light which basically features the doll she'll turn around and while she's not looking at you you can run towards the Finish Line as soon as she turns around if she sees anyone moving she will fully eliminate them and this could be a easy game mode in my opinion for them to implement now obviously this is just one of many potential modes and they did mention limited time modes not limited time mode they also had a tug-of warar which I don't know how exactly they would Implement that into Call of Duty there's also
the glass steps which basically you jump and then depending on how lucky you are you you can make your way to the very end and win and then there's also the sugar honeycomb so basically you have to actually scrape out the honeycomb without breaking it I don't know how they would do that in Call of Duty either and then there's also the other ones for example like marble there's like Hopscotch and then there's finally the actual squid game itself which is in the finale it's like a 1V one type of thing they could probably put
it in like a strike map or a face off and remember because they're advertising season 2 they might have a completely different set of games to represent season 2 rather than instead of season 1 so the modes themselves are going to be very surprising now alongside the modes you can expect that there's probably going to be map variance to match the theme I don't think they're just going to drop us into a limited time mode and then just say oh go play Nuke Town they're probably going to adjust and maybe alter some of the existing
maps that we have to better match squid games and Squid games has some pretty unique looking areas for example the stairs and the areas that they were walking through the room that they were playing marbles in the area where they were actually doing the tug of war so it different arenas for different types of modes and I think that Call of Duty probably would need to implement something along those lines but other than that there's actually going to be an event that will be coming in with this now one of the reasons why I can
guarantee there will be an event with rewards is because if you notice from the Archie festive frenzy event we were expecting a melee weapon that is the last melee weapon in the season 1 update and that is the cleaver now at the moment it's completely unlockable but when you read the blog post it actually tells you that this melee weapon is unlocked through an event and the last and final event that we have in season 1 is actually going to be the squid games one so that means that this could potentially be one or the
Mastery reward that you'll be able to get for participating in this and I've seen a lot of comments of people asking where this melee weapon is at why are we not able to unlock it with the Archie festive frenzy event and this is literally the only solution that we can conclude is that it's going to be a part of another event which is going to be be squid games now at the moment they haven't really given us much Intel on that so we don't know what type of event they're going to lay out for us
whether it's an XP based one a challenge based one will there be Community challenges you have to participate in the thing is what I can say is the rewards are actually going to be decent this time for the reason that all the lackluster type of rewards I'm going to be honest here the B6 events really haven't been the best and the main reason is because a lot of the things that you unlock are not cosmetic rewards they're giving us perks for example you're playing B six you're doing this event and then they give you a
war zone perk that if you don't play War Zone you're definitely not going to use they're giving you attachments to the three round burst for the xm4 but the three round burst attachment is actually weaker than the base xm4 and so on so they're giving you things that are not Cosmetics the blueprints for the first time ever we actually got one with the Archie festive frenzy event but we're yet to see event camos so personally I believe the MW3 camos and rewards were a lot better than what we have with bo6 and it looks like
with Squid games here they don't have any more perks they don't have any more attachments other than the cleaver melee weapon there's really nothing else that they can give us that's not considered cosmetic so hopefully the rewards are going to consist of weapon blueprints hopefully some brand new camos and themed cosmetic rewards around the squid games crossover now if we are lucky enough we could potentially see an operator skin when I mentioned that green costume or green jumpsuit there is the potential they can make a generic version of that for example have one of the
existing operators wear this jumpsuit for example Nair but just with a green jumpsuit that could be a free reward and if they want to take it a step further they can also give an additional reward with a black cell variant for the black cell owners if you notice the Archies festive frenzy event right now the operator skin that we have for Nazir is actually a operator skin that should have been in the battle pass in the first place so it's literally just the variant of the battle pass operator skin and they actually took it out
of the battle pass and then added it in an event and said that was an additional reward so in my opinion I feel like they sort of lied to us telling there would be exclusive event rewards but at the same time they gave us the skin that we were supposed to already have in the first place so hopefully this crossover solves those problems that we've had with past events but what are your thoughts and opinions on it are you guys excited for this crossover this is the very first one we have in Black Ops 6
