so this is part four of the series and it's called inner self must be exalted and when i speak of the inner self in the in the most simplest way i can explain it is that the inner man is the one who is desiring it's the one who's in pain it's the one who's suffering it's the one inside of imagination the reason why we suffer in our minds is because we're not having the experience we want to have in imagination what we do is we bring the shadow world the limitations of the shadow world into
imagination and doesn't fit there i view the body and this life like a shadow the same way if you're walking on the sidewalk and you see your shadow on the concrete from the sun i really think the consciousness is the sun itself if you will and this is just a shadow and this responds to me i don't look at my shadow on the concrete and think to myself that it rules me no it mimics me so if i can see that that it's the inner man who's desiring then i feel that i'm free i'm freer
than i was i should say because the inner man is the creator of all resistance of all suffering inside the mind and it wasn't until i saw that that i truly am creating all my suffering inside my own mind that i felt a deep freedom in that that all suffering was caused by me inside my own mind that through my states i created a hell inside of imagination and states to the inner man our feelings it's the way we feel towards ourself and i find this world to be feeling clothed in symbolic form so all
one must do is change how they feel about themselves and experience that change in feeling in imagination and if you can't get to the feeling well then create a scene that implies that feeling that would invoke that within you neville says to leave the world alone as it is and change the self he says there's no one to change but self nobody and i think that's very common is that you can tell the difference between when you're trying to change somebody and change yourself and the reason like why does neville tell us to leave the
world alone it's because the only thing that is being expressed here is self so if self is the only thing that's expressed here then that's all i must change and what is self to me well it's the inner man it's the this is what i mean i mean the voice inside your mind the being inside of imagination the you if you will the one that isn't bound by the senses that version of yourself that can see beyond what's in front of them with their physical eyes as william blake would say william blake said that i
don't see with my eyes i see through them like a window and who who is seen through them the inner man so you you the inner man see through your eyes like a window and you see what you what ought to be to you you experience what ought to be and you make it feel real to you and you experience that and then that changes you and that results in a change in your world for this his body is nothing but a shadow so just take a moment and close your eyes and just observe imagination
don't necessarily get attached to thoughts just observe them and you'll see that the one who is in pain is the inner man that the one who is in bondage is the inner man that the one who needs to be exalted is the inner man and since we're in imagination and all things can be done in imagination and nothing is off limits to you and you don't need permission from anybody you don't even need you don't even need the senses to comply then you are free in the imagination you are free to do anything you like
you are free from all judgment you are freed from everything you can express yourself you can be the thing you want to be you can create a scene the way you want to be do everything the way you want it to be and if you're not well then on some level you're suffering try this try to walk in your imagination as if all your needs have been met go somewhere go out go out to a restaurant and just feel that all your needs are met or wherever you want to go somewhere where you enjoy an
imagination and feel and walk around in imagination as if every needs met if you need something you can conjure it up if you want it you can have it in imagination and it's only a feeling to the inner man it's just the feeling away and then that feeling will clothe itself in symbolic form and this is the symbolic form or the shadow will clothe itself in the shadow but don't don't convince don't confuse that you're this body don't confuse that the state itself is the symbolic form or the shadow because event the moment you do
that if you make your states dependent upon the shadow well then you just made it your state dependent upon something temporal that eventually it's going to fade and go away you want your states to be dependent upon imagination where they're always there you can always experience being it you can always feel that you are it if you make your state dependent upon something external to you well then you just you're just kind of messing up the whole thing you must see that states are within us they're in imagination their feelings and imagination and all that
happens is that these clothe themselves in symbolic form now you must test this you must test to see is it it might is the inner man really the one who's suffering here is the inner man really the one who is truly is he suffering because of his states and then change it to i am i suffering because of my satan speak as the inner man is the reason why i suffer an imagination because i think low of myself because i feel low of myself because i feel um i feel like a beggar or i feel
undeserving or i feel like i'm not allowed to have the experiences i feel like i need permission well then the way you feel imagination the way you're going to be and that's going to shape your world inside of yourself and that will be your experience and then that becomes your perception but never convince you don't confuse the perception with the perceiver you are the one who creates the perception don't confuse the two don't think you're ever the state the state is dependent upon you it's a feeling that you take and then it closes itself in
symbolic form but but if you test this i found this to be like the funnest way to test this is that if you learn to exalt yourself okay well how much better can i make myself feel what else do i want to feel about myself could i make it even better than that and you play almost a game with yourself it becomes fun if you how how good can you make yourself feel with nothing you really don't need the senses to make yourself feel good you don't need it you need to let that go and
immerse yourself in imagination where you can experience things the things you want and it's what i mean by experience i mean you experience the reality of it so you feel that it's real you feel that you are that now you feel like you're experiencing it and then you will so i hope that helps that if we can see that's the inner self that needs to be exalted then we can do it because it can be done in imagination it's just feelings that we can appropriate and you don't need anyone's permission so hope that helps
