so excited about this because she had an underactive thyroid she was on medication to today she is on no medication it took a bit of work but eventually she got off her medication and that's quite a surprise to most people because most people think if they're on the thyroid medication they're on it for the rest of their life her doctor took her off cuz all her levels became normal because of everything else she was doing so she put it on and went to bed and she didn't sleep all night because that woke her thyroid gland
up so much she became active all night so message from this is don't put it on before you go to bed so after that we started putting it on just in the morning while I was doing the lecture while she was with us and she said that after about half an hour it got really really hot and then it would settle down a little bit so can you see what's happening is blood is being drawing into that thyroid gland to wake it up remember what blood is it's the life of the flesh if someone's got
a overactive thyroid gland students what would you put on the thyroid gland to slow it down ice that's so simple isn't it it's so simple but one thing that really can help the thyroid gland to control or balance out is high intensity exercise high-intensity exercise wakes up that thyroid gland often thyroid glands whether it be under or overactive are iodine deficient and you can do a very simple iodine test you can get iodine from the chemist and you paint it say on the inside of your arm and you'll get a brown smudge and then you
just observe how long it's there for if that iodine disappears within an hour you've got low iodine well how do you get your iodine up you just put it on every day until it stays there it should be there for about 5 hours that's a very simple one isn't it and your thyroids main food is iodine and earlier in the week actually it was yesterday last night I said that mercury gobbles up your selenium and your thyroid gland needs selenium to convert iodine into thyroxin and so getting the Mercury fillings out is also important you
only need five Brazil nuts a day to supply all the iodine that you need in a day now what I usually do now you see what I've done here I've got a piece of glad wrap and I've got kitchen paper that's been folded over I'm going to put a light sprinkle of oil on that and then I'm going to sprinkle about half a teaspoon of C pepper on that you see it's very very gentle so usually I put olive oil and I haven't got olive oil so I'm just going to do a little bit of
castor oil here here so just a little a little smear of olive oil or castor oil just enough to uh so that the uh came pepper will stick and now I just spread that over so it's spread out and I have put a little bit too much on there but that will be just enough for the other foot so I'm just going to put another one on so that to mop it up because it's oh yes so I've easily got enough for two feet here and most of us have got two feet yes and now
I'm going to sprinkle the can pepper on so the oil is just so that the can pepper sticks to it cuz if you didn't put the oil on of course the can Pepper would just all fall off now this is about how much I put on so you see that but it's very very safe that's very very safe compress thyroid health is often overlooked yet it's crucial for overall well-being what we just explored shows how powerful simple remedies like a cayenne pepper pus can be by increasing blood flow to the thyroid gland this method activates

iodine so and the name of his book I won't write it cuz a long name iodine why you need it and why you can't live without it that's the name of his book so number one iodine well how can you tell if someone needs iodine because iodine is the thyroids number one food and what about iodized salt did you know that within one hour of opening the iodized salt all the iodine's gone did you know that there's no no iodine in Celtic salt and there's no iodine in Himalayan salt because it evaporates so when the
waves crash the iodine goes into sub suspension goes across and lands on on the soil that's why the uh plants growing around the edge of a country near the sea are higher in iodine and when it's added to the yes that that can help but what we s suggest is to buy Lugal solution Lugal solution is a combination of iodine and iodide an iodine iodide is used mostly by the the uh reproductive organs of the body and the iodine is used by the other organs of the body so Lugal solution is a combination of those
two it's a dark brown fluid and what you do is you put it on the inside of the arm put one drop there and it'll make a brown smudge or Mark and then the person observes how long it stays Brown if the iodine's gone in an hour that person's very low if there's still some semblance of color after 5 hours that person's got good amounts of iodine so what do you do if it's all gone in an hour you just put it on every day till it stays for 5 hours that's simple isn't it so
that's a good iodine test now if the person's washing their hands a lot they might put it on their their stomach or they might put it further up because if the body's low in iodine it'll grab it and it'll grab it quick it's as simple as that yeah and where are most people getting it from them where are most people getting it from probably from from the food that they're eating that's why it's commonly known people that live in the in the central part of uh countries are often uh low in iodine but that's not
the only that's not the only problem with the thyroid so iodine is converted in the body to thyroxin and thyrox and that conversion needs selenium and Mercury fillings have an affinity for selenium so when people have mercury fillings in their mouth or they're eating a lot of fish with high Mercury they are often low in selenium so a person can have adequate ey iodine but if they don't have the selenium the iodine can't be converted into thyroxin and to get all your selenium you just need five Brazil nuts a day will give you the selenium
that you need so number two um eliminate Mercury eliminate all exposure to Mercury and there's three places we can be exposed to Mercury where's that yeah fish fish and the bigger the fish the higher the concentration of mercury because Mercury is bioaccumulative that means the bigger the fish the more it accumulates so fish where else can we can we be exposed fillings in the teeth the silver colored fillings and the third place we can be exposed is the vaccines y I can't confirm if it's in the covid vaccine or not but it is in the
flu vaccine so it's most likely in the co but I cannot sayfe for sure what's about um colors painting the walls of something is there a lot of mercury in it not any long oh not not usually okay good not usually iodine truly is the Cornerstone of thyroid Health as Dr Brownstein highlighted iodine deficiency plays a major role in both underactive and overactive thyroid conditions isn't it surprising how quickly iodized salt loses its iodine content after opening the iodine test is such a simple yet effective way to assess your levels and the solution is as

the company that owned the I think it was an aluminium Factory and the waste that was going to minamata Bay was the was the Mercury waste just incredible took a long time before finally they acknowledged it and did something about it but the the fisherman children the fishermen themselves they were but they called it dancing hat dancing cat disease not Mercury disease and you've heard of Mad Hatter's disease you know the Alice in wonder there's the Mad Hatter in Alice in wonder I haven't watched that or Cena but you see I remember from a child
the Alice in Wonderland there was a Mad Hatter well Hatters went mad the Hatters that made the top hats because they would glue the felt together with Mercury and like and So Mad Hatters disease was Hatters would go mad because of their exposure to Mercury so they didn't call that mercury disease either they called it Mad Hatter's disease because Mercury is a neurotoxin so eliminate all exposure to Mercury because Mercury takes up the selenium and selenium is needed to convert iodine into thyroxin number three high estrogen opposes thyroid function so you can have someone with
uh thyroid problems because of because they've got high estrogen what would cause high estrogen any ideas what causes high estrogen contraceptive pill Plastics especially those soft Plastics that have got the nonenal remember the xenoestrogens coming from chemicals coming from uh Plastics and you've got your plastic Fabrics remember your uh acrylics nylons polyesters so eliminate exposure to Mercury and eliminate Plastics and eliminate the contraceptive pill and dairy yeah and one of the reasons for dairy and also uh eggs is because of the growth stimulants that are given to cows and chickens and the growth stimulant is
an estrogenic effect and so what also needs to happen here is the um hormone balancing program and we looked at that we looked at the herbs that you can use we also looked at um getting together and ordering a whole box to get it cost the Anna's wild yam cream from Australia so that's an important part because your high estrogen opposes your thyroid function these are areas that are not often assessed but as I've just shown you if you don't get these back into balance you won't you won't find a um a turnaround of the
of the problem and don't forget the true remedies eight laws thyroid controls metabolism so if it's overactive everything's fast everything's fast they can't eat enough food to to because a metabolism is going so fast and it's really they lose weight because everything's going so fast so with overactive thyroid it might need to be supplemented with juices definitely need three meals a day maybe an hour before the meal they'll need a vegetable juice just to keep up and how do we slow down when it's overactive how do we slow it down ice ice ice and how
do we ice 10 seconds on 10 seconds off 10 seconds on 10 seconds off might do that for half an hour to really chill it and if the person underweight which they often are with a overactive thyroid gland you want to make sure the rest of their body's warm you might put their feet on a hot water bottle or inot in a bucket of hot water to warm them up but you want that slow down so so number six over we'll just say the overactive thyroid gland ice what about the underactive what what will wake
it up cane compress will we do that in the morning or in the afternoon morning morning morning if we do it in the afternoon it'll wake them up and they won't sleep much is that a compress you said or internally compress um 3 4 hours they might do it every second day sometimes if they do it every day it gets un too uncomfortably hot and this is also where especially with the underactive exercise the high intensity interval training we're going to look at that in detail tomorrow because that high-intensity interval training wakes up the thyroid
gland because you're going so fast could you do hot and colds to the thyroid in the shower that's another thing that could be done so hot and Cals see with the overactive thyroid gland they're usually a bit underweight they can't sit still everything's fast fast fast fast but with the overactive yeah they with the underactive thyroid gland they're often carrying excess weight they're sluggish they're slow they have no energy because the thyroid gland controls metabolism so overactive metabolisms too fast underactive toow Mercury often called a silent toxin can wreak havoc on thyroid function in multiple

simple of just eating the Cabbage family every day so that might be uh broccoli brussel sprouts cauliflower kale Buck Choy and of course course cabbage high estrogen opposes thyroid function so people that have a thyroid problem it can be a hormonal imbalance and people have that have a thyroid problem they need to be cautious of raw Brasa raw Brasa or raw cabbage family contain goitrin and goitrin inhibit thyroid function so if someone's got underactive thyroid gland they need to cook all the cabbage family because cooking disarms the grians if someone has a hyper thyroidism hyperactive
thyroid go for the raw cabbages cuz you want to slow that thyroid down can you see that difference just a comment as we talk on the Cabbage family so now we're looking at what else can stimulate Highway 2 and inhibit Highway 16 is flax seed so that's a really easy one to grind up for your breakfast every day and licorice if you've got high blood pressure forget the licorice also vitamin B particularly vitamin B6 9 and 12 now the highest source of your B vitamins is raw nuts and seeds but if someone has a hormonal
imbalance they may initially need to supplement so this one's turning the tap off this one's getting rid of the excess estrogen and there is a cream called the Anna wild yam cream that is our third point the Anna's wild yam cream contains the plant chemical dooin and when this cream is applied to the skin the fat cells take it up and it stimulates the pathway that your body uses to make its own progesterone in America you can buy progesterone cream but you keep putting that in the body gets lazy and every year when I come
to America I meet women who've been on the progesterone cream and it's just not doing it anymore but if you apply the yam cream can you see what it's doing this is why I like it it's stimulating your body to make its own so it's Superior so the the directions are one finger dip that's just past the n na bed so finger in past the nail bed that's about the right amount inside of arms one time abdomen another time inside of thighs another time chest so you alternate your spots and a woman applies it morning

kitchen paper and I'm going to sprinkle it with a little bit of olive oil you could use castor oil if you like but olive oil will suffice and you spread it over the area because what you want to do is put enough olive oil on there so that the C pepper will stick to it don't put too much olive oil on because if you put too much olive oil on um the oil can leak out and that's no fun on socks and sheets so what I've done now is I've put the olive oil on like
that and now I'm going to sprinkle C pepper and what you would do is you would do about half a teaspoon to a foot if you don't put the olive oil on there the the came pepper just falls off and then the foot goes straight on that and that will never burn so you can you see what I've done now and you see that can pepper is sticking quite nicely to the olive oil then you put the foot straight on there and you put the Glad wrap over and then you put a sock on if
you don't want that much glad wrap on your foot you can just end the Glad wrap a little past the kitchen paper and you put a nice firm fitting sock on now if I put that on someone with good circulation by morning their feet are very hot but not till morning if I put that on someone with no feeling in their feet by morning they're telling me they've got pins and needles in their feet for someone with no circulate very poor circulation cold feet it sometimes will take a few days if I did that on
my feet two nights in a row I'd want my feet in ice water all day my feet would get too hot it's a very gentle treatment it will never hurt but it's a very gentle way of increasing the blood supply to the extremities so anyone who has lost feeling in any part of their body you can apply these can pepper compressors and you can even make them beforehand and turn them over like that so if you're visiting someone with it and they find it hard to make it you can make it for them and then
they can open it up and put their foot on that usually overnight is how you would do it you can put it on the thyroid for an underactive thyroid again any area where there's no feeling compressors made with olive oil cayenne pepper or castor oil are incredibly gentle yet effective tools for improving circulation and stimulating your thyroid as we just saw they can also benefit areas with poor blood flow what I love about these compressors is their Simplicity you can even prepare them in advance for convenience this is a natural and safe way to bring
