many rooms and is large enough for every believer Heaven has been prepared specifically for each person there are so many rooms in this mansion that an individual could not possibly keep count but this Mansion is not the heaven that you know of today in fact whenever Jesus spoke about living in heaven he usually spoke about the new heaven not the current one we are living under Jesus stated in Matthew chap 24 Heaven and Earth shall pass away but my words shall not pass away but of that day and hour knoweth no man no not the
angels of heaven but my father only Jesus lets us know that the Angels do not know when this new heaven will come and Judgment Day will pass nor do humans which means the Devil Himself does not know the only person who knows this day is God other than Jesus there are two men in the Bible who dive deep into how the heaven you will be living in looks like and what exactly will be in this Heaven first we will talk about how the old Heaven looked like according to Enoch then we will discuss what John
describes as the new Eternal heaven after judgment most people know about the Book of Enoch during the days of Jared Before the Flood Enoch ascended to heaven the heaven that Enoch saw was not just one but multiple Heavens that separated the Believers the Sinners the fallen angels and the holy ones in fact many scholars believe that the heaven Enoch had seen was the heaven that we think we know however the heaven that John had seen is the heaven that God promised us this is the the heaven that we will be living in forever because Jesus
said all things will pass away including the heaven we know today and a new heaven will be created which John describes exactly how this heaven looks how we will be living in this Heaven before we dive into John stay tuned because in the next video we will be discussing the multiple Heavens that Enoch spoke of okay anyways John had written revelation from chap 21 to 22 describing the Wonders that heaven has for you John States then I saw a new Earth with no oceans and a new sky for the present Earth and Sky had disappeared
and I John saw the holy city the New Jerusalem coming down from God out of Heaven it was a glorious sight beautiful as a bride at her wedding I heard a loud shout from the throne saying look the home of God is now among men and he will live with them and they will be his people yes God himself will be among them he will wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death nor sorrow nor crying nor pain all of that has gone forever and the one sitting on the
throne said see I am making all things new he took me to a towering mountain peak and from there I watched that wondrous City the holy Jerusalem descending out of the Skies from God it was filled with the glory glory of God and flashed and glowed like a precious gem crystal clear like Jasper its walls were Broad and high with 12 gates guarded by 12 angels and the names of the 12 tribes of Israel were written on the gates there were three gates on each side north south east and west the walls had 12 Foundation
stones and on them were written the names of the twel Apostles of the Lamb the angel held in his hand a golden measuring stick to measure the city and Gates and walls when he measured it he found it was a square as wide as it was long in fact it was in the form of a cube for its height was exactly the same as its other dimensions 1,500 Mi each way then he measured the thickness of the walls and found them to be 216 ft across the angel called out these measurements to me using standard
units the city itself was pure transparent gold like glass the wall was made of Jasper and was built on 12 layers of foundation stones inlaid with gems the first layer with Jasper the second with sapphire the third with caledoni the fourth with Emerald the fifth with sardonic the sixth layer with sardius the seventh with chrysite the eighth with Barrel the ninth with topaz the 10th with chriso the 11th with jath the 12th with amethyst the 12 gates were made of pearls each gate from a single Pearl and the main street was pure transparent gold like
a glass no Temple could be seen in the city for the Lord God Almighty and the lamb are Worship in it everywhere and the city has no need of sun or moon to light it for the glory of God and of the Lamb illuminated its light will light the nations of the earth and the rulers of the world will come and bring their glory to it its Gates never close they stay open all day long and there is no night and the glory and honor of all the nations shall be brought into it nothing evil
will be permitted in it no one immoral or dishonest but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life and he pointed out to me a river of Pure Water of Life clear as Crystal flowing from the Throne of God and the lamb coursing down the center of the Main Street on each side of the river grew trees of Life bearing 12 crops of fruit with a fresh crop each month the leaves were used for medicine to heal the Nations there shall be nothing in the city that is evil for the throne
of God and of the Lamb will be there and his servants will worship Him and they shall see his face and his name shall be written on their foreheads and there will be no night there no need for lamps or sun for the Lord God will be their light and they shall rain forever and ever outside the city are those who have strayed away from God and the sorcerers and the immoral and murderers and idolators and all who love to lie and do so now that is how heaven looks like but what exactly will we
be doing there well according to the Bible our activities for eternity will include of worshiping God and participating in righteous society and creativity in Revelation 4:10 elders rounded God's Throne continually crying holy holy holy is the Lord God Almighty while laying their crowns Before the Throne in reverence Revelation 19 depicts great Heavenly multitudes shouting Hallelujah praising God for the righteous judgments leading to Evil's final defeat we too shall join the non-stop chorus of saints glorifying our King the presence of God's will bring us no pain and suffering there will be no crying in heaven we
will live for eternity and be filled with joy there will be no sleep in heaven because we will not have any Darkness like zero at all everyone will be kind and filled with the spirit of God we will be immortal beings our worship shall have no end discovering new aspects of God's endless wisdom though we may recognize resurrected friends and family members Jesus himself stated those made Immortal will will neither marry nor be given in marriage Matthew 22:30 States for in the resurrection there is no marriage everyone is as the angels in heaven in eternity
the typical family relationships and marriages we know on Earth won't exist instead we'll all be part of one big family united as the Bride of Jesus Christ who is our groom as members of Jesus's redeemed Church our main relationship will be with God through Christ will experience a perfect closeness with God and love everyone else as our spiritual brothers and sisters heaven will be free and open for all the Bible does not specify Gatekeepers assessing entrance qualifications as most people believe salvation comes entirely from what Jesus did on the cross not from anything we earn
ourselves anyone who repents and believes is saved by grace through faith additionally Revelation 21 mentions large Gates made of pearls that are always open day and night ensuring that nothing blocks entry to the New Jerusalem last but not least scripture shows that Believers in heaven will be solid active beings will work learn Rule and worship all in new unbreakable bodies the beauty of Heaven comes from God's presence in the community of saints far from being boring Heaven is a place of Contin continual growth and Discovery where we'll explore new facets of Christ through meaningful activities
