get so jealous of people who could get it easy or get some form of it without having the the difficulties that I had I'm like how did You just walk into this and get that and how I'm I'm struggling I'm I'm I would get so angry and then I I had to like you know what I'm never going to be jealous of anybody again what I'm going to do is I'm going to understand why my path is different why do I have to work much harder than that person and when I tell you as I

look back at all of those people I kept surpassing and surpassing and surpassing and surpassing every time I'm like wow the very person that you Were jealous of because of what they had look at where you are now now they're looking at you going wow how did you do that well instead of being jealous I started working and focus and working harder and harder nobody could outwork me all of us have this conflict going on at all times inside of us and it's between two forces and the first force is your voice of fear and

can't give into the criticisms you're going to be hearing you're going to get critics all the time you're going to live in discomfort most of your life remember this growth over destination expansion over stagnation progress over Perfection you got to lean in to progress you got to lean in to who you are you got to fully celebrate and embrace the fact that you're trying to Do something great with your life and that should be acknowledged a bird doesn't land on a branch trusting that the branch won't break but rather trusting in its ability to fly

away you are the bird life is the branch don't waste your entire life overanalyzing the safest place to land make a decision enjoy the view while you're there and trust that you'll be able to move on if and when the time comes you aren't who you used to be it's okay If you made mistakes and aren't proud of the person you once were because that's not who you are anymore so it's time to put all of that behind you step into a new Direction and keep moving forward believe me when I say that you're past

doesn't Define you you have a choice to wake up every day and start a new beginning you aren't where you were last year and you aren't who you were last night just keep fighting to get better one day at a Time lot of people have this fantasy of like flipping the switch and becoming a new person and never going back to being their old self and that's what it is it's a fantasy because the reality is you wrestle with your old self every single day you don't just make the decision to be different once you

have to make it over and over and over and over again you're going to have plenty of days where that old self comes knocking on your door those old habits Come knocking at your door those old Tendencies come knocking at your door wanting to wedge themselves back into your life and you have to resist and resist and resist and sometimes you fail sometimes you have a moment of weakness and you end up being your old self for a moment but as long as the next moment you choose to be better you're going to end up

fine it's when you don't resist and you don't try to be better and you spend the entire day being a loser and You spend the entire week being a loser that's how you stay on the hamster wheel forever and never get anywhere you want to go if you're going to pursue success in your life you have to decide you're going to be on a road that most people are not on and a lot comes with taking that road but the truth is the Journey To Success can be a very painful journey and you can feel

very alone and it's designed that way and so it often Bothers me when I hear people say I need the support from my spouse or my friends or I've got haters or no one understands me or I'm getting all this rejection and negative feedback from people I've got haters that's the road you're on you're going to a place most people aren't going to go in their lives and so what comes with deciding to be great is all of those things the most helpful frame was thinking about who I was becoming as the Asset that I

was building so in real time whenever I finished a Long Day's Work I was becoming more like the type of person who could work for five years without reward and that would be part of the story I would someday tell and some some of the biggest reinforces I've had in my life has been futurecasting the story that I would tell about the shitty period that I was in question for yourself what is impossible never accept the limitations Of someone else somebody told you that it's impossible don't even try give up before you even fing try

it for yourself never accept the goddamn limitations that someone else has placed up on you decide for your [ __ ] self what is your limitation try it for your [ __ ] self then that is the only way the only [ __ ] way to know if you can or can't do something create your own self most people are missing something because they so much trapped in there there's so Much in you that that you have not un unlocked God I feel like I'm missing something yeah because it's about 75% of you is still

[ __ ] in there still chained up because you just didn't want to find your willpower didn't want to find your soul your will your heart your determination your guts your courage what that looks like it looks scary this is the gap when we start this is the Gap as you grow notice how you grow and they don't so how do You close a gap you got to come back down when you come back down you lose so you got to keep going up that's why closing that Gap got to be them catching up to

you and if they don't catch up you got to leave them behind consistency doesn't mean Perfection it doesn't mean being hard on yourself when life interferes with your idea of being perfect consistency is getting back on track when life throws you off and not quitting when things get Hard the definition of consistency doesn't mean Flawless it means staying on course for as long as possible knowing that falling off is almost guaranteed don't punish yourself for doing the best you can it doesn't have to be perfect you just have to keep going Talent is a pursued

interest in other words any anything that you're willing to practice you can do I think the best way to prove your Your value is to work it's to learn it's to absorb to be a sponge you always want to outwork your potential you know as hard as you believe you can work you can work harder than [Music] that everything has stages of growth why in today's time are we forgetting that why are we forgetting that and expecting an immediate space of [Music] perfection it doesn't matter what challenges it is that you are facing there it

is the fundamental principle behind it that you do not run away that you are open for everything that is being thrown at you it is this type of mindset to also understand I didn't ask for Easy Life I take what comes if it leaves I let it pass you're exactly where you need to be In life all the confusion and frustration you feel is part of the journey don't worry about being behind or never finding your place in this world everything is already working for you behind the scenes all you need to do is stay

open to the opportunities let go of the outcome and stay grounded within yourself the rest will unfold exactly how it's supposed to [Music] What's impossible in your life go after that have that goals are important passion is important waking up in the morning and having an excitement about the day is important you're here not by choice you're led to this and I believe we all have a destiny we're all supposed to do something in our lives my favorite Court of all time by TS Elliott those willing to risk going too far can possibly find out

how far one can go notice that it says those Willing to risk you have to risk failing you have to risk getting mocked you have to risk your safety and security if you want to find out how far you can go if you want to find out how many lives you can touch if you want to find out what it tastes like at the top you have to be willing to risk going too far and that's what's that's what's painful is that it takes more effort to start in the beginning and more people are right

about the fact they're like hey you're Not going to hit it big and guess what a month in you're not but they're only measuring on months and at 6 months you're also not going to have hit a big yet and they're going to be like I'm still right and at a year you're still not going to hit it big and they'll still be fuing right and every day that you haven't hit it they're going to feel like they were right but they're wrong because they're measuring in days and you're measuring in Decades to get anywhere

in life you have to work extremely hard and you have to be disciplined if you wanted to be a great piano player there's no drug you can take there's no self-help book there's no guru you got to spend 5 years 10 years learning it until it becomes something the second nature there are no shortcuts you see after a few years that an incredible pleasure happens where now you have Mastery of this piano and you can play things you could never play Before suddenly the whole thing opens up this whole new universe and that's the Paradigm

for everything meaningful in life if you learn something well if you learn a craft and you master it it can bring you a far greater pleasure than any kind of drug or any kind of going out to a party or socializing but you have to be patient and you have to not be afraid of boredom you have to not be afraid of the effort you know there's something Powerful that once you just sort of embrace the fact that an in order to achieve something big You' got to get rid of these distractions you're probably going

to have to have some suffering to get there or some sacrifice to get there suffering and sacrifice and hard work is an indication of progress towards our dreams the lack of sacrifice the lack of suffering in our lives its removal its non-existence also equates to a Non-existence of a great life a non-existence of a dream happening when we're suffering and sacrificing we wonder whether it's worth it we wonder whether we're supposed to we wonder whether sacrifice or setbacks or suffering is a sign it's not our real dream see at the gym You' never think oh

I'm going through some pain and discomfort this must be a sign I shouldn't be at the gym you'd never think that in fact the indication of the Pain and sacrifice and sweat don't you feel better at the gym you're like wow I really sacrificed today I really suffered so in that area we all know to the extent we suffer and sacrifices to the extent we grow don't get better automatically you only get better because you intentionally make a decision to get better you have to go from being a person of good intentions to a person

of good actions life doesn't happen to You we all think that life happens to me right in fact the only difference between most of you and me the only difference between me and you is I wanted it more I wanted it more opportunities will come to you every day it's either for you you can remain scared of the opportunities or you can embrace them and take them you need to push yourself past good good is not enough what are you going to do that's Going to be different you understand what is different within you there

is something deeply different about you because a lot of the times our biggest obstacle is ourselves you are in your own way and it just takes a perspective shift to implement into our day and the next thing you know we're transforming I wish more people were more gentle with themselves and more forgiving you don't have a lot of people in life that are going to come and fight for you it Bothers me to my core when I see people be negative on themselves be hard on themselves not be a fan of themselves if you're not

a fan of yourself then nobody's going to be a fan of you if you don't fight for yourself nobody's going to fight for you really bothers me the victim mentality that people have and if you can escape that victim mentality you can tap into the opposite side which is hope when you start stacking those winds with each win comes a higher price you Have to pay a little you have to pay a little bit more some days you pay a little less some days you pay a little some days you pay a little bit more

when when winning is looking at you and it's saying this is what I need you to focus in on can you go all in on that or are you busy still kind of looking out of the out of the corner of your eye you can't do anything to the fullest extent to its best capabilities if you already thinking about something else or what Are you thinking about next cuz if you wanted it bad enough you'd make it happen just shows your true desires otherwise something more important will always come up truth is it's on your

mind probably as ready as you'll ever be if you don't make time for your dreams you'll be forced to make time for your regrets fear is going to be a player in Your lives but you get to decide how much you can spend your whole life imagining ghosts worrying about the pathway to the future but all there will ever be is what's happening here and the decisions we make In This Moment which are based in either love or fear don't stop don't dwell in the past because a lot of times when we dwell on mistakes

when we dwell on certain decisions we've made that already happen it keeps us there it keeps us stuck There and now we're taken away from this moment that we have right now this moment that we have to bring intention to this moment to bring gratitude to this moment to focus on taking the next right step instead of looking backwards and staying stuck in a place that we don't have anymore fast forward 20 years are you going to look back at your time and think I probably should have done anything if you know that in a

year you think you're going to say okay I Probably should have been doing this more man I probably shouldn't have been doing this so much that is not a good feeling to [Music] have one thing that you need to realize is that you're a lot closer to your dreams than you think and it isn't because you're one step away it's because the person in the dream is you it's just a version of you that's not yet come to life the last attitude is How you feel about yourself nothing more powerful than self-esteem which creates self-confidence

the greatest steps towards success com from self-confidence and that comes from self-esteem doing what you know you should so that the end of the day you have high high self-esteem being yourself creates confidence because the more that you pretend to be somebody that you're not the more self out the more fear and Paralysis that you're going to feel and I am here to tell you confidence is waiting for you to show up confidence is the willingness to try I want you to try more I want you to be brave because every time you start to

show up as yourself the confidence is going to build it's not a personality trait it is a skill this is fantastic news because if it's a skill it means you can practice the skill and you can build confidence because every time you try You become more confident in who you're becoming even when you're full of doubt if you move ahead and you do it anyway you are building confidence and that's the truth about life it's that simple you need to become your dream you need to become that future version of you every single day through

your daily habits through your disciplines by following your mission and your purpose as soon as you align to your purpose every day undeniably you'll start to see The doors that are closed in front of you open and you feel it inside of your chest every single day stop ignoring it and pick up the phone you can move through life at seven times the rate of other people by simply changing when you say you're going to make a decision from end of week to end of day four decisions that you needed to make if the normal

person takes a week to make the decision and then their mind moves on to the next thing that they Have anxiety for decided another week decideed another week it's a month to make those four decisions whereas the the Superman takes one decision day one second decision day two third decision day three fourth decision day four they aren't even finished the week yet and they're where the other person is at the end of the month that speed of decision- making like not paying the attention cost the opportunity cost of your time I think it's really profound

in terms of How quickly people move through life you can't wait for nobody else to fix you you can't wait for nobody else to mature you can't wait for nobody else to get to that part in their life where they come you can't wait I got great things in store for you all I'm asking you to do is let this go so I can give you everything you've ever want so I can put you where you always want to be so I can put you where I ordain you to be son I gave you a

gift I can't I can't but I Can't play like you play humans play I don't play we got to stop all this talking and we got to start doing because when we do people want to follow you when it seemed like it's working the most important question you ask is what pain do you want in your life what are you willing to struggle for anything worthwhile is going to require some degree of pain and struggle so if you're oriented toward the pain And the struggle you're probably going to be more aligned with what you're capable

of accomplishing rather than if you just Orient toward the pleasures we say find the thing which you enjoy the most but really what you're finding is what is the pain you're prepared to swallow the most nothing worthwhile is going to come without discomfort let's say you're in the hospital bed and you're getting ready to die and somebody walks in the room and you don't know Them they don't know you and you have one copy of your book and it's sitting right there on the table and you're taking your last breath and you're talking to this

person you say to them I want you to read this book as you're dying think about this that book that you just wrote that woman man whatever reading that book would it changed your life forever and if it's not changing your life forever you have To rewrite your book The Power of right now and having one more moment and one more minute is so beautiful it's so blessed it's so big it's so amazing why would we spend that minute in history why would we spend that minute in the past when we could be fully present

in creating a future and so you know I think most people think Jay everyone else is going to die I think they just they just I'm never I'm not going to die or they go I'll get Around to being happy I'll get around to making my masterpiece of my life I'll get around to my dreams I'm going to get around to fixing this relationship that's broken I'm going to get around to feeling those emotions and then it's another day and another day and they keep it in the distance until there are no more days and

I don't care if you're 18 years old listening to this 28 or 48 we don't know if we have one more day or 100 more days or a th more days but we Know this there'll eventually be a time where we don't have any more days and so why would we spend the ones that are coming looking at the past don't focus on the past it's gone you'll never get it back don't worry about the future it's not here yet you have to learn to live in this present moment and figure out a way to

make it beautiful and remember that the purpose of your life is nothing else other than to learn to enjoy the passage of Time so here's the good news you aren't going backwards and you probably never will be you can't undo your progress or unlearn things that took you so long to figure out failure mistakes and wrong decisions are all still progress because even if you don't succeed immediately you still learn a lesson and if necessary you learn it again whichever one it is no matter how much it hurts you're still moving forward no matter what

is happened to You till now you will use the experience of Life only to upgrade your life not to degrade your life whatever is passed whether it is the previous moment or many years ago whatever is passed is dead it has no influence on on our lives it is only the way we react to it if you take this vow to respond to your past to see how the experience of life is turned into wisdom and not into your wound within [Music] [Music] you half the year is gone What stages in your life in your

goals are you closer to at this point in the year and which are you stuck in that are exactly the same and what do you have to do to change [Music] that consuming our mind every single day With worries my friend is a disservice to your energy to your gift to your potential to your mission to yourself because all that energy your mind has the ideas that could flow to you the solutions it's a missed opportunity because you're swimming and worries why worry that much but this is a practice we often forget that developing a

positive mind we don't just have a positive mind some of us are hardwired a Little bit differently yes but it's a practice it's something we do every single day we wake up and we look and we place meaning into life we don't wait for meaning to come to us like the wind no we place meaning with intention into the things that we do you're only excited about the outcome of something and not the process of doing it you shouldn't do it because the outcome is uncertain so you have to really enjoy who you're becoming what

You're learning what you're getting out of it not just the actual outcome of making money or selling your business you losing and you're not losing cuz you're a loser you losing because you focusing on losing that's all you focused on what do they think believe in you if you don't believe in you and you losing and you losing because you're overthinking everything you do cuz you got to get there prove or to do it so I need you to start doing What winners do winners focus on winning winners focus on scoring winners focus on dominate

winners focus on showing up winners don't care what losers think about them and winners don't care what other winners think about them all they care about is winning so do me a favor you a winner start saying what you know and what you understand and I promise you if you start focusing on winner you going to win losers lose and winners win it's time for you to win Here was the best promise my mentor ever gave me he said Mr on if you will change everything will change for you wow I took that to heart

and sure enough the more I changed for the better the more I changed from having a poor Day to a good day from lack of discipline to discipline everything changed that thing that's hard to do discourages a whole bunch of other all by itself cuz the person who's willing to to to suff the longest wins and so we Choose things that are incredibly hard to do and you've heard me say pain and suffering a lot and and it's actually a positive attribute people who can suffer are the ultimately the ones that are the most [Music]

successful I don't know what your future is but if you're willing to take the harder way the more complicated one the one with more failures at first than successes the one that has ultimately Proven to have more meaning more Victory more Glory then you will not regret it whatever you choose for a career path remember the struggles along the way are only meant to shape you for your purpose secret of the age is that you have the power to do more than you can ever begin to imagine don't underestimate yourself you don't know enough about

yourself to become a cynic and so you've got to challenge yourself to access that power that you have Within you you're more than a conqueror you can hope you can wish you can dream you can say you're going to but the reality is until you start stacking winds day by day by day by day nothing's going to happen the game is played one day at a time and if you have the capacity to wake up today go through the entire day do everything you're supposed to do and execute on those for one day that means

you can do it again the next day and that means you can do It again the next day you have exactly what's required to win at the highest level you could ever possibly win at it's about stacking wins in a cumulative fashion over the course of time and when you do that winning is undeniable you need to make it a habit to start everying day validating yourself cheering for yourself because life is a marathon and this might be a challenging leg where you're like I'm just going to throw in the towel I'm not Going to

do that thing hell no if you're standing in front of that mirror you deserve deserve to feel the support and empowerment and encouragement that you need you are doing so much every single day that you don't give yourself credit for a lot of folk won't let you forget what you used to do or what you have done what mistakes you've made all of us have made some mistakes in life all of us have done some things that if we had them to do over again we wouldn't do it Again a lot of things that if

I had it to do over again if I knew then what I know now I would have done it different ly well it didn't happen that way oh you don't want me to live that down how you want to keep on putting that in my face about what I did guess what I'm not interested that's what I did then won't do it today so you are picking on an innocent man the thing that's so interesting about being alive is that you're all in No matter what you do you're all in this is going to kill

you so I think you might as well play the most magnificent game you can while you're waiting you have to start living your life in expect ation you have got to start expecting great things to happen for you in order for it to happen if you live your life in expectations that's what happens to you if you live your life in despair that's what happens to you I'll never be rich You won't you won't the moment you change the frequency that your Tower emits different things come back to you you have this kind of convoluted

limiting belief about why you can't do something right now that's this your own BS story you keep telling yourself how about you just drop that story how about you just decide it's a lie every day some of us are killing ourselves with the shame we carry from something we've done some humiliation some fear we put This gun to our head every day that tells us we're not enough we're not strong enough pretty enough smart enough you do it over and over and over again and There's A Better Way Forward you can put those things down

in your life you could decide today that you were born to do something great you could set aside this weapon that you keep using against yourself to hold you back from your joy from your passion from your achievement from all the goodies in life you could Decide today just intentionally to set this weapon down whatever it is I've looked in the mirror every morning and ask myself if today were the last day of my life would I want to do what I am about to do do today and whenever the answer has been no for

too many days in a row I know I need to change something remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the Trap of thinking you have something to lose there is no reason not To follow your heart [Music]
