hey what's happening guys today i'm going to show you how to make some easy keto pralines and when i say easy i mean it these pralines take maybe 10 minutes to make and you only need five ingredients to make them and the best thing is you probably have all these ingredients at your house already and maybe even better than that is the carb count on these keto pralines each one of these pralines has just one net carb actually a little lower than one net carb so with that said let's not waste any more time let's
jump right into the good stuff and i'll show you how to make some low-carb pralines okay first things first we're going to preheat our oven to 400 degrees and do a little bit of prep work so in a medium-sized bowl we're going to add 1 cup or 112 grams of some raw pecans and then we're going to set those aside then we're going to start cutting up a stick of salted butter and add those cut up pieces to a small bowl and then when we've added all of our butter to the bowl we're gonna set
that aside as well now in a large bowl we're gonna add some confectioners swerve to sweeten up our keto pralines without adding any carbs or calories and for today's recipe we'll be adding a heaping third of a cup or 65 grams of it to the bowl so after we've got that in there we're going to set that bowl aside and start prepping our final ingredient which is going to be some heavy cream with that said we're going to add 8 ounces or 120 milliliters of it to a small cup and then once again when we've
done that we're gonna set that aside as well okay so now that we've done all the prep work we're gonna add our pecans to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and we're gonna spread those out nicely so they've got some room to roast up in there and by the way we're just gonna roast them for a couple of minutes just until they become fragrant anyway as you're seeing here while those are roasting we're going to add all of our butter except for about a tablespoon of it to a pan that we set over medium
heat and we're going to just start to melt that down in there then we're going to add our sweetener to the pan along with our heavy cream now we're going to get out a spatula and just start to work and combine those ingredients together in our pan and as you're seeing here we're going to want to continuously work those ingredients around the pan with the spatula as they cook because we don't want our keto praline mixture to burn while it cooks and doing this working the mixture around the pan it will help us prevent it
from burning that said eventually we're gonna start to see a nice caramel or caramel color to our praline mixture so at that point when we see that we're gonna cut off the heat from our burner and we're gonna add the remaining butter that we saved from earlier to the pan along with a teaspoon of vanilla extract then we're gonna get our spatula back out and mix those ingredients into our praline mixture until they dissolve and at this point we should be ready for our roasted pecans so we're gonna pour those right into the pan and
just give them a quick mix with our spatula so that they're covered in praline mixture deliciousness then when they are we're gonna use a tablespoon to scoop out a little bit of that praline goodness onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and the recipe should make about 12 keto pralines so once we've scooped out all that tasty pecan deliciousness from our pan we're going to pop our pralines in the fridge for about an hour or until they set and then when they do we're gonna end up with something that looks like this these keto
pralines they're crunchy they're salty they're perfectly sweetened they're also delicious and i hope you love them as much as i do anyway as always for more info on today's recipe check out the video description below chef's kiss i'll see you in the next one you
