there are five bible verses that i believe we should be speaking over ourselves when it comes to god's protection and before i read the word of the lord i would like to remind you not to place your faith and hope in this world a good diet and exercise alone is not enough to keep your body protected against illness and disease you need jesus christ the chief physician and master doctor a security alarm or bolts and locks on the door is not enough to protect your home from the attacks of the devil you absolutely need the
blood of jesus christ to mark your home with his presence eight hours of sleep self-help books and music aren't enough to give you peace of mind you need to hold on to jesus christ the only one who can provide peace beyond understanding in summary the point i'm trying to make is that we should rely only on god almighty we should have faith only in god elohim have confidence in him he offers full protection mind body soul spirit he offers you complete and absolute protection when you are fully surrendered in faith to him and so here
are five bible verses that you should meditate on promises of protection that you should hold on to if ever you feel that you need reassurance psalms 32 7 you are my hiding place you shall preserve me from trouble you shall surround me with songs of deliverance hebrews 13 verse 6 so we may boldly say the lord is my helper i will not fear what can man do to me isaiah 46 4 even to your old age i am he and even to gray hairs i will carry you i have made and i will bear even
i will carry and will deliver you psalms 3 verse 3 but you o lord are a shield for me my glory and the one who lifts up my head proverbs 18 verse 10 the name of the lord is a strong tower the righteous run to it and are safe and now let us pray lord jesus i commit myself and my family into your hands in the name of jesus i speak the blood of jesus christ upon each and every doorpost of my home upon each and every window post of my home for protection in the
name of jesus christ your word says that the angel of the lord encamps around all those who fear him may your angels surround my home lord i pray that a holy pillar of fire may be seen where my family and i abide every night [Music] i plead the blood of jesus over my life today my spirit my soul my body i plead the blood of jesus over everything in my life today i submit all that may trouble me into your hands i place my fears any anxiety any worries into your hands psalm 16 verse 8
says i have set the lord always before me because he is at my right hand i shall not be moved so each and every day o lord i pray that you will be with me i don't know what each day holds or what it will bring but be with me father and i ask that you would go before me [Music] direct my steps this day into the way of peace and strengthen my heart to obey your commandments watch over me king jesus be my protector and be my strength i pray that whatever the devil meant
for evil you almighty lord will turn into good what the devil intended to destroy me with i pray that you will use it to lift me up whatever the enemy wants to use to discourage and depress us with i pray that the lord will give us joy instead and the joy of the lord will be our strength your word has given me a promise that no weapon formed against me shall prosper and i declare that no weapon formed against my family will prosper i decree and declare that no weapon formed against my mind shall prosper
i confess that no weapon formed against my health will prosper in jesus name and lord even while the enemy roams to and fro looking for whom he may devour i stand by the power that's in the name of jesus [Music] i stand by the blood of jesus which rises up to defeat all evil i stand by the blood of jesus which is my source of victory if you o lord are with us there is none who can be against us there is none who can oppose you and that's why we come to you for safety
in you we can find true protection we can find divine safety in our homes safety with our families safety even within our bodies lord jesus at this time let your power fall in our lives let your hand move in the midst of my affairs as i call on the name above all names i pray that every feeling of doubt is destroyed every feeling of fear is thrown away and every anxiety is no more hear my prayer king jesus and have mercy your word says it's better to take refuge in the lord than to trust in
humans your word says be strong and courageous do not be afraid or terrified because of them for the lord your god goes with you he will never leave you nor forsake you i thank you for the battles that you fight for me not only those which i know about and those which i can see but also those battles that i don't know about and those which i cannot see father i ask for divine protection i ask divine intervention you know my struggles lord and you know where i am weak and so i call for your
help i call for a higher power which is you watch over me each and every day watch over my coming in and going out the world is full of selfishness and cruelty i look around and ask the question who can i turn to but you mighty god where else shall i find protection from the devourer your word assures me in psalms 34 7 which says the angel of the lord encamps all around those who fear him and delivers them o taste and see that the lord is good blessed is the man who trusts in him
thank you for your word that offers such blessed hope lord jesus i pray that you guard my steps each day protect me in all my endeavors and give me the strength to accomplish my daily goals lord i am comforted by proverbs 18 verse 10 which says the name of the lord is a strong tower the righteous run to it and are safe and so i call upon your name lord jesus i call on the name of jesus christ today i ask you to be my strong tower i know that you can keep me and my
household safe and that you wish above all things that i will prosper and be in good health i pray that you will deliver me today as you surround me with your glorious presence as i pray lord may you remove the burdens which i'm wrestling with remove every burden that is fighting my spirit my mind or my body i thank you for being a god who sustains me and a god who delivers me i bless your name [Music] amen the bible describes jesus as the prince of peace in isaiah 9 verse 6 the bible says for
unto us a child is born unto us a son is given and the government will be upon his shoulder and his name will be called wonderful counselor mighty god everlasting father prince of peace we all need the prince of peace in our lives and the fact is that jesus christ is the only way that we can experience real and tangible peace i want to encourage you to get to the point where your prayer is lord may your peace be upon me may your peace fill my heart and mind i love the verse in jude chapter
1 verse 2. it simply says mercy peace and love be multiplied to you what a wonderful and blessed combination so i say to you right now as you are listening may god's mercy be multiplied to you may god's love be multiplied to you and most definitely may the peace of god be multiplied in your life when you pursue the presence of god his peace love and mercy are part of the package when you have been blessed with peace that is beyond all understanding you can stand in the midst of chaos and still say it is
well you can stand in the fiery furnace just like the three hebrew boys and still be able to say it is well saints of god with god's peace you can go through a year that has been filled with fear and uncertainty and still say it is well it is well with my soul so now let us pray [Music] lord jesus be glorified and honored may your will be done lord the bible describes you as wonderful counselor mighty god everlasting father prince of peace you are all these things to me king jesus [Music] i can say
that it is well with me because luke 12 verse 24 says consider the ravens for they neither sow nor reap which have neither storehouse nor barn and god feeds them of how much more value are you than the birds [Music] your word says in john 16 33 these things i have spoken to you that in me you may have peace in the world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer i have overcome the world your peace means that i am strengthened and calmed from within your peace lord is the reason i am of
good cheer i am filled with joy because the one who i believe in has conquered death hell and the grave may all glory be unto you jesus i praise you as my lord and savior because with your peace in life my heart is not troubled it's your peace that will keep my heart and mind secure from everything that seeks to disrupt my faith and my belief lord i pray for each and every person listening to this prayer when the world is worried when others are anxious and perplexed we as your children we as believers will
have our peace multiplied we will have divine tranquility and a stress-free mind despite being in a world filled with uncertainty we desire your peace lord it's that kind of peace that no one can steal away from us give your peace at all times and in every way lord i pray that you would shine your holy presence in my life shine your light upon me within this world of darkness i pray that i may be sensitive to the voice and counsel of the holy spirit even as he speaks to me in a still small voice and
reminds me that your word tells me not to worry your word tells me not to be anxious about anything but in every situation by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your request to god and the peace of god which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in christ jesus and father there are times that we fight with conflicting voices of doubt voices of fear and discord i pray that the holy spirit will strengthen me to cast down all other evil voices and even when the negative voices of other people are loud in
our lives i pray that in those times may you filter our minds and ears so that our spirit may not receive anything that is not from you [Music] i pray that your voice the voice that is in your word will rise above everyone and everything else your word says my sheep hear my voice and i know them and they follow me so father i pray that your voice will be the only thing that gets my attention may your voice lord jesus be the only voice that has the final say in my life and over my
life may your voice be something that i hear always may your voice speak the words peace be still in the midst of my situation today walk with me lord stand by me jesus [Music] we bless your name for your word says no longer do i call you servants for the servant does not know what his master is doing but i have called you friends for all that i have heard from my father i have made known to you i thank you that we can know you lord both as a friend and a father a friend
who sticks closer than a brother i choose to listen out for your voice today lord may your will be done [Music] i pray that the holy spirit will help me to recognize the voice of the lord help me to hear you help me to be sensitive to your loving voice your voice of guidance and instruction your voice that will lead me through the valley of the shadow of death but still give me peace [Music] i bless your holy name for hearing this prayer you are the alpha and omega the beginning and the end an almighty
and all-powerful god be with me today may your peace follow me wherever i go may your peace be multiplied in my life in the mighty and precious name of jesus christ i pray amen in matthew 28 verse 18 and 19 as jesus gave the great commission the bible says and jesus came and spoke to them saying all authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit he mentions god
the father god the son and god the holy spirit and as for today i would like to encourage you to seek the holy spirit as you welcome god the holy spirit into your life you need to understand his nature to understand his work and why we need him to dwell within us and operate in our lives and when you understand his role his capabilities and the role he has to play in our lives then you will undoubtedly seek him with a passionate fire and a desire that is strong john chapter 14 verse 26 says but
the helper the holy spirit whom the father will send in my name he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things that i said to you so from this we understand that he is a teacher he will teach us and lead us into all truth we need the holy spirit to help us to understand and comprehend the word of god without the holy spirit it's difficult to understand and to know god it's difficult to function effectively in the kingdom of god or as a child of god when you are devoid of
the holy spirit furthermore the bible says he will bring to your remembrance all things that i said to you in our christian walk or journey we need the holy spirit to remind us of the word of god and i don't mean a simple bible verse here or there but to truly impress on our hearts who god is his majesty his power his promises and the fact that the bible is not simply words on pages but it's who god is himself because according to john chapter 1 verse 1 in the beginning was the word and the
word was with god and the word was god romans chapter 8 verse 26 says likewise the spirit also helps in our weaknesses for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought but the spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered at one point or another we will face troubles we will face storms and challenges that are bigger than us and when that time comes we will have to find answers that are beyond our reach and sometimes if we try and do things alone this can leave us devastated
traumatized and scarred so we need the holy spirit to help us in our weakness we need the holy spirit to comfort us now these are just three traits of the holy ghost but his power and his role extends into so many different areas but if you were to look at these three traits and if you look within your life can you honestly say that you don't need the holy spirit to strengthen you in your weakness can you say you don't need him as a helper or can you say that you don't need him to help
you remember the word of god and the things of god and now let us pray lord jesus i thank you for today i thank you for the holy spirit i thank you for a wonderful helper i understand that there is a need for me to open up my heart and yield to the holy ghost so that he can operate in my life without limit without being hindered by my own way of doing things help me to open up my heart so that i can walk as a believer who produces good fruit in your kingdom your
word in galatians 5 verse 22 says but the fruit of the spirit is love joy peace long-suffering kindness goodness faithfulness gentleness and self-control i pray that all these traits will be evident in my life may i be a loving person filled with joy kindness gentleness and peace all because the holy spirit dwells inside of me your word lord jesus says in isaiah chapter 11 verse 2 the spirit of the lord shall rest upon him the spirit of wisdom and understanding the spirit of counsel and mind the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the
lord may i experience the holy spirit resting upon my own life so that he can lead me to become a christian who has godly wisdom and understanding to be a christian who has knowledge and the fear of the lord help me father to yield and allow the holy spirit to take over in my life help me not to harden my heart but to submit and welcome the holy ghost so that he might teach me and lead me to know jesus christ and the power of his resurrection so that he may guide me away from sin
i understand that the holy spirit is the spirit of the living god who leads us guides us who comforts us and teaches us he is a permanent helper in my life a helper who is always there on standby just in case i stumble or falter [Music] when i need comforting he is there as my comforter when i need to be taught the holy spirit is there as a supernatural teacher if i need to be strengthened then he is also there as a source of strength and when i need intercession he is there to plead my
case as my advocate i welcome you into my life holy spirit i welcome you into my day may you provide me with wise counsel and instruction play a role in my life that is all-encompassing romans chapter 15 verse 13 says that now may the god of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope by the power of the holy spirit with you by my side and in my life i have power and victory over depression and despair i have power and victory over the enemy so i pray
that every single day may you continue teaching me guiding me and leading me in the way of the lord thank you king jesus for hearing my prayer i adore your holy name you are forever good and righteous amen the lord is good he is a stronghold in the day of trouble and throughout the bible he is described as faithful he is described as the alpha and omega here's the beginning and the end he is patient caring and loving and so i believe that we need to prioritize him we need to commit to spending time with
the lord each and every day and we should be seeking him with a hunger because we need him to lead and guide us we need his grace to get us through the day we need his protection to keep us safe as we go about our business we need him to keep us safe throughout the night we also need the holy spirit to be there constantly so that he might counsel us we need the holy spirit to be there so that he might empower us so that he might minister to us and pull us towards god
i believe we need to pray at the beginning of our day and at the end of our day so that the lord's presence is constantly with us you see god's presence is wonderful when his presence surrounds you you're surrounded by pure love when his presence surrounds you you're covered in safety and there is nothing from the enemy that can touch you in his presence there is power so much power that you can do all things through christ who strengthens you so much power that there is nothing impossible it's only in the arms of the lord
that you can find divine strength it's only in god that you will find strength in your weakness it's only in him that you can do all things because he strengthens you and so now let us pray my king and lord jesus christ thank you for your goodness for your pure love towards me guard me against the devil lord be my shield and my defense i declare your word in joshua 1 verse 9 which says be strong and courageous do not be frightened and do not be dismayed for the lord your god is with you wherever
you go i declare your word to be true in my life today i will be strong because of you jesus i am courageous because of you jesus i am not frightened or dismayed by the enemy because of you my lord jesus be my comfort and my peace i bless your name for being faithful my risen king my chief cornerstone philippians 4 13 says that i can do all things through christ who strengthens me i speak this promise to be true in my life king jesus whether i am at work i can do all things through
christ who strengthens me i have the skill to do things efficiently and well through christ who strengthens me whether it's related to school or my studies i can do all things through christ who strengthens me i ask that you be with me wherever i go i ask that you be with me in my home at my place of work may your hand be upon me in whatever i do may your hand be upon my loved ones may you guide my steps and lead me to walk in safety may you be a lamp into my feet
and show me where to go lord i have the strength to face each new day because of the power that's in the blood of jesus i praise you for your goodness i praise you for your love which knows no bounds i ask that your presence may be upon us i pray for even those who are around me and those who will be around me may your presence and your favor be so strong upon me that they will feel it father i declare that i am blessed in the morning i am blessed at i am blessed
in the evening i pray that today the favor of god goes before me the blood of jesus christ is what covers me holy spirit may you speak to me it's in you jesus that i seek strength the strength to get up and face each day with joy gladness and boldness it's in you jesus that i place my hope my hope in the one who never disappoints my heavenly father i praise you for you alone are worthy to be praised i praise you because your word in isaiah 40 verse 29 says he gives power to the
faint and to him who has no might he increases strength father increase my strength let me not faint but give me the strength father the strength to face each day with confidence the type of confidence that fears nothing because you lord jesus are greater than anything on this earth father when i feel as though i am lacking or when i feel as though i don't have enough may i be reminded that your word says in psalm 34 verse 10 the lions may grow weak and hungry but those who seek the lord lack no good thing
i lack nothing because you are a good shepherd your rod and staff they keep me close and they guide me your word says god is not human that he should lie not a human being that he should change his mind does he speak and then not act does he promise and not fulfill it's you lord jesus that lead me through the valley of the shadow of death you lead me through it and still offer me peace you lead me through the valley and even when i am weak and tired even when i am afraid you
still make it known that you are there you're a friend that sticks closer than a brother you are with me as a defender and a strong tower i bless your name and thank you for your love and kindness protect me today and always i pray that you cover me lord jesus i thank you for hearing my prayer i bless your name for being a loving god a god who looks upon me favorably blessed be your holy name lord in jesus name i pray amen in matthew 24 the disciples asked jesus the following question tell us
when will this happen and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age in verse 10 to 13 jesus said at that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people because of the increase of wickedness the love of most will grow cold but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved and the message i have for you today is do not turn away from the faith don't turn away from god
don't give up and don't choose to live a life of sin because it looks easier because it looks like there's more pleasure or because it seems more convenient the way of this world is only temporary sin is a rotten fruit and the bible says the wages of sin are death i encourage you to be all in for christ yes we all have busy lives yes we have things to do and so many demands are placed on us but i urge you to make room for jesus christ make room for the lord starting from today and
if you're facing something something that might be challenging you an illness that might be causing you pain or problems that may be troubling you if you're facing anything difficult do not give up do not turn away from the faith don't allow the love of god in your life to grow cold jesus said the one who stands firm to the end will be saved so pray for strength the strength and endurance to stand firm in faith and i want you to know that it's okay to struggle life will present us with issues and challenges that will
cause us to struggle but equally when you find yourself in that place of difficulty do not give up do not give up on the lord don't turn away from the faith instead pray for divine intervention pray for the hand of god to reach down from heaven and lift you up out of that low place don't allow your fire your love of god to be taken away we need to be all in for god because eternity is too long of a time to be living in this life with one foot in and one foot out when
it comes to the things of the lord [Music] and now let us pray lord jesus you are great and worthy to be praised and adored i come before you today with all humility in my heart asking that you may give me strength may you give strength to each and every person under the sound of my voice father we look around today and we see the signs of the times you have warned us in matthew chapter 24 verse 10 that many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other and many false
prophets will appear and deceive many people because of the increase of wickedness the love of most will grow cold but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved help us dear lord not to be in the group of people that fulfill this prophecy i pray that i will be so close to you so in touch with you that i will never turn away from the faith purge my heart and remove all of the hate and malice that may be within me show me the truth so that i may not be deceived by
false prophets lord remove any wickedness from within me this is not the time to entertain hidden sin of any kind don't allow me to become a halfway christian someone who has one foot in and one foot out but i pray that my desire should be to love you lord stand with me holy spirit and help me in my weakness help me when i am weary revive the fire within me so that i will not be half-hearted with my prayer life help me to be vigilant because the enemy is out there like a roaring lion seeking
whom he can devour press upon my heart holy ghost and convict me to never neglect my prayer life in jesus name i pray that i may be guarded by your presence lord so that i will not be consumed by thoughts of fear anxiety or worry be with me lord so that my faith may not be consumed by doubt and unbelief you lord jesus are the same yesterday today and forever just as you walked on water raised the dead healed the sick and performed so many wonderful miracles when you were here on earth i believe that
you can still perform miracles in my life today i pray that i may be sober and vigilant remaining watchful of the times and i ask lord that you would pour out your spirit upon my life let this be a season for us as the children of god to not just chase after the lord but to hunger and thirst for you let this be a season for us as your children to burn with a pure and holy passion help us to understand that we need to be waiting on you to renew our strength so that we
can mount up with wings as eagles so that we can run and not be weary and walk and not faint holy spirit convict our minds our hearts and our souls so that we may realize that this is a time for us to be seeking the lord and even as i pray right now i ask that you remove everything that tries to stop us from growing everything that tries to stop us from hungering for the lord remove every spirit that tries to hinder us from walking closer with god i rebuke everything every distraction or roadblock that
tries to block our journey with god we call upon your mighty power your word in psalms says i lift up my eyes to the hills from where does my help come my help comes from the lord who made heaven and earth we call on you today king jesus be our help be our safe place thank you for listening to this prayer in the mighty and precious name of jesus christ i pray amen we have many things that fight for our attention whether you're at home at work or even at church there is always something that
seeks to demand your time to demand your focus and your attention but i encourage you today despite there being so many things demanding our attention we should be mindful of what we are giving our attention to the bible says in matthew 22 37 jesus said love the lord your god with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind when you love something when you love someone when you love them with all your heart soul and mind then that person has your attention that person or that thing takes your time you
make room to accommodate that which you love you make adjustments you prioritize and move things around so that you can give time to that which you love in fact if you love something or someone enough you will wake up early you will go to sleep later you will find the energy somewhere and somehow to accommodate a relationship between you you will do near enough anything when the love is so strong that it's with all your heart and with all your soul so as you listen may i ask you the question do you love the lord
your god with all your heart and with all your soul and with all of your mind are you waking up earlier just so you can say good morning lord jesus i place today in your hands are you making room to accommodate the lord in your daily schedule are you making adjustments to your day so that you can read the word of god so that you can pray i encourage you to be obedient to the words of jesus love the lord your god with all your heart with all your soul and with all your mind be
obedient to the word of god in deuteronomy 11 verse 1 which says therefore you shall love the lord your god and keep his charge his statutes his judgments and his commandments always be obedient to the word of god in joshua chapter 22 verse 5 which says but take careful heed to do the commandment and the law which moses the servant of the lord commanded you to love the lord your god to walk in all his ways to keep his commandments to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all
your soul be obedient to the word of god in psalm 31 verse 23 which says o love the lord all you his saints for the lord preserves the faithful and fully repays the proud person so with this understanding let us pray lord jesus you are great and mighty you are holy and worthy thank you for your faithfulness you have been good to me father i pray that you remove everything that is hindering me from my life remove everything that is blocking me from having a closer relationship with you take away those things that are a
distraction those things that disengage me from you take away anything that wants or does demand my attention above you open my eyes so that i can see it so that i can discern those areas which are competing with you in my life and i pray that you would give me the strength not just to identify but to remove those things i desire to be more and more like you lord first john chapter 1 verse 6 says if we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness we lie and do not practice the
truth i pray that i may always walk in the light that is your word the bible says your word is like a lamp unto my feet i pray that you would help me lord to keep your word on my heart may i be focused and attentive to your word which is sharper than any two-edged sword give me the grace to put you first to put you ahead and above all of my daily tasks my schedule and my responsibilities i will forever place you above all things deuteronomy chapter 30 verse 16 says i command you today
to love the lord your god to walk in his ways and to keep his commandments his statutes and his judgment that you may live and multiply and the lord your god will bless you in the land which you go to possess holy spirit will you help me to be obedient to god's word help me to walk in the way that pleases god help me to keep all of his commandments in my life may his statutes be close to my heart [Music] give me the strength to live in a manner that is indicative of someone who
has been transformed by the love of christ i pray for your help and guidance holy ghost help me to stand up and stand out for christ the bible tells me not to be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of god transform my mind transform my way of thinking so that i may be focused on my relationship with you lord jesus give me a desire to chase after you lord i pray for a heart of worship like
david so that i can worship you in spirit and in truth [Music] i pray that you would give me the strength and the boldness to refuse to bow down to anything and everything that seeks to take your place in my heart anything that seeks to take my attention away from you help me to be bold enough to remove it whether it be a career or a relationship help me not to bow down to any other gods or to any idols i thank you for listening to this prayer lord may you be glorified and honored i
