May You bless families and be their constant support, providing life, faith, and support to each home in need. Bless our lives and everyone joining this gathering. We pray this in the name of Jesus.
Amen. Praise the name of the Lord. We will be praising the Lord, with another song, expressing our gratitude to the Lord for everything He has done, and continues to do in our lives.
Praise be to the name of the Lord I now invite everyone here to join in this gathering to read the text for our reflection tonight which is found in the book of Jeremiah, chapter 48, verse 6, and serves as the guiding message the Lord has given us for the year 2025. The Lord's message says, 'Run for safety, save your life, and you will be like a palm tree in the desert. ' Praise be to the name of the Lord.
My friends, we are part of a global event, the Trombetas and Festas, with a clear message that transcends any single denomination, but a prophecy that was spoken. and this prophecy highlights the special time we are living in. We are nearing a significant event, the return of Jesus.
And God is giving signs pointing to this event And the church, with its mission, shares what we experienced at the Trumpets and Feasts event. When we identified the signs pointing to Jesus' return While the world is unaware, nature's signs are becoming clear And as described with the sound of trumpets The first trumpet has sounded, and a third of the forests have been destroyed The second trumpet has sounded, and a third of the seas have been destroyed, The death of marine life is evident, A third of the rivers, related to the third trumpet, are dying, to the waters that have turned bitter, showing nature's signs, In addition, there are conflicts between nations and wars, plagues, famine, and earthquakes all point to a significant time. The world is unaware, as if shrouded in darkness.
A dark cloud hides what is happening. While searching for causes and blame, these signs point to a major event. People are confused by these events and seek answers.
A proverb says that worry weighs down the heart. He seeks guidance, but no one has the answer. Therefore, God provides a way out at this moment, He offers a way for people to escape the chaos around them What is the answer?
What is the way out? It lies in the guiding principle God has given us this year Fleeing is a personal action with a purpose: to save your life. God's word establishes, You will be like a sturdy date palm in the desert This is God's promise for those who trust Him now God's word understands this significant time This is the way out being provided And this way out exists because the door of grace is open.
The door of grace remains open. It's the path for people to save their lives. And God's promise is that you will be like a resilient palm tree in the desert.
The palm tree is a type of strong tree, which absorbs sunlight and withstands harsh weather. Its deep roots reach for underground water, It yields sweet fruits that provide energy for long journeys. This is God's promise, as leaving this world means living under the sun of righteousness.
Who is the living God, and how does God act in our lives Helping us develop deep roots, these roots reach for underground water Jesus, the source of everlasting life And enabling us to grow this fruit, the qualities from the Holy Spirit In other words, God's promise for those who understand this special time is to become like a date palm in the desert, fruitful. The first results will nourish those in your home and loved ones, as the Lord promises that believing in Jesus brings salvation to your family. Wherever you go, you will share the goodness that the Holy Spirit brings into your life.
Therefore, God's guiding principle for us is Seek safety, save yourself and become resilient like a date palm in the desert. This is God's promise for you, my friend. This is God's promise for you participating in this gathering.
God wants you to be like a date palm, producing life-giving results. Praise the Lord's name. We will listen to another worship song.
