there are secrets that are not even in the Bible you need to know this five things not written in the Bible number one the exact moment Jesus returns our first fact begins with one that Jesus himself stated he did not know what how is that possible H let us go to the Bible Deuteronomy 29:29 the secret things belong unto the Lord Our God but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever that we may do all the words of this law in Mark 13: 14-37 Jesus prepares his followers for intense
persecution and tribulation in the days ahead especially during the end times he gives them hope to endure these trials by describing his glorious return as the Conquering King of the universe to keep them from despairing in Dark Times the Lord wants them to live in Readiness for a second coming however Jesus States no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen not even the angel in heaven or the son himself only the father knows and since you don't know when that time will come be on guard stay alert the words day and
hour are frequently used in the Bible to refer to time in general Matthew 7:22 however in Mark 13 Jesus specifically addresses a future event since no one knows the exact timing of his return Jesus emphasizes the importance of staying attentive remaining alert and being prepared at all times throughout Mark 13 Jesus repeatedly urges his followers to Be watchful be on guard stay alert verse 33 watch for his return you too must keep watch don't let him find you sleeping when he arrives without warning and watch for him the disciples were curious about when the end
would come however Jesus informed them that he did not know the exact time by saying this Jesus was demonstrating humility in choosing to take on the role of a servant since no one not even Jesus knows when he will return Jesus willingly limited his knowledge about this matter this act was part of Jesus's obedience to the father and his purpose of experiencing human life Jesus in his Humanity did not know the day or hour of his return nor did the angels in heaven only God the Father knew it is highly probable that Jesus now in
his glorified state knows the day and hour of his return but at that incarnate moment speaking with his disciples the information was not at Christ's disposal later just before his Ascension Jesus reminded them it is not for you to know the times or dates the father has set by his own author Authority acts 1:7 Jesus accepted his human limitations and so must we what matters is being ready every day for his return Christians of every age have experienced persecution natural disasters and Earthly trials genuine disciples must understand that these challenges are a daily reality of
life in a fallen world yet Believers are not without hope because in the end our Victorious King will return for us and in the meantime since no one knows the day or the hour we are to watch and be ready for him no matter what we must endure as we continue his mission of spreading the good news of God's kingdom many have attempted to predict the day of Christ's return but scripture is clear no one knows the day or the hour Jesus instructed his followers to stay alert because his coming will be unexpected look I
will come as unexpectedly as a thief blessed are all who are watching for me who keep their clothing ready so they will not have to walk around naked and ashamed Revelation 16:1 15 number two when the forces of Heaven kicked out Satan in Isaiah 14 we are introduced to a being known as Lucifer the Latin root of Lucifer means one who brings light while the Hebrew translation is morning star Lucifer was depicted as a radiant shining and Majestic being in any language he was a high-ranking angel one of God's main Angels alongside Michael and Gabriel
and God's Heavenly hosts however at some point Lucifer made a grave error Satan's fall from Heaven is symbolically described in Isaiah 14: 12-14 and Ezekiel 28: 12-18 while these two passages are referring specifically to the kings of Babylon and Ty we believe they also reference the spiritual power behind those kings namely Satan these passages describe why Satan fell but they do not say when the fall occurred he became so consumed with his own Glory that he attempted to equalize himself with God and rebelled against his creator at this point it's fascinating to contrast Lucifer's Disobedience
with Jesus's submission Lucifer was a created entity not equal to God who aspired and failed to achieve equality with God in terms of Jesus according to Philippians 2:6 who being in very nature God did not consider equality with God something to be grasped Jesus was equal to God humbled himself and was eventually exalted returning to Isaiah we may discern the reason for Lucifer's Rebellion how are you fallen from Heaven oh Lucifer son of the morning how you are cut down to the ground you who weaken the Nations Isaiah 14: vers 12 Lucifer's desire was to
be on some footing with God he imagined himself to be so intelligent beautiful and Majestic that he allegedly thought to himself I could be God according to scripture Lucifer undermined the Loyalty of one-third of God's angels and lured them into his rebellion and fall in response God said but you are brought down to the realm of the Dead to the depths of the pit Isaiah 14:15 in Ezekiel chapter 28 we see precisely what caused Lucifer's downfall your beauty made you proud Your Glory ruined your wisdom so I threw you down to the ground and now
other kings stare at you Ezekiel 28:17 what was Lucifer's initial motivation what was the original sin Pride the original sin was done in heaven not on Earth it wasn't alcohol intoxication it wasn't adultery and it wasn't even lying it was a matter of Pride it is still the most lethal of all sins many churchgoers would never dream of committing adultery or getting drunk but they are readily seduced into Pride without recognizing how harmful it is Lucifer was so lovely that he got proud of himself his pride finalized the transformation from Lucifer to Satan Ezekiel 28:18
you defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities by the iniquity of your Trading therefore I brought fire from your midst it devoured you and I turned you to ashes upon the Earth in the sight of all who saw you Lucifer had been in charge of God's sanctuary in heaven he was in charge of the religious Services he was the cherb who guarded the location where God's presence showed itself he was in charge of the music he was an artist he had a lot of success he then rebelled and fell Pride number three The
Disappearance of Behemoth and Leviathan these are creatures that God was proud of but we no longer know their location the Behemoth we see this great beast in the Book of Job God talks about his creatures rather than himself as the Creator he even uses humor asking job about his thoughts on the Behemoth as if these amazing creatures hold the answers to Life's important questions job 40: 15- 24 say behold now Behemoth which I created as well as you he eats grass like an ox previously the focus was more on the mystery of the animal creation
however now the focus has shifted to the fear and yet the magnificence of God's creations the Behemoth was first among the works of God as we see in verse 19 this refers to Genesis 1:21 where the first animals mentioned are the great sea creatures as stated in verse 19 the Behemoth was the first of God's creations the Behemoth is one of a handful of Bible creatures that historians have argued about for quite a while the scholarly Community is still trying to come to a consensus on many aspects of this creature but they do know two
things he was enormous and had a belly button the evidence of a belly button shows that it is not an animal that lays eggs we read he eats grass like an ox his power is in his stomach muscles God seems to take great pleasure in describing the Marvel of this extraordinary creature pointing out its size appetite and behaviors along the way the picture is clear if job cannot contend with this fellow creature how could he ever contend with the God who created the Behemoth the Hebrew word behemoth has the same form of the plural of
the Hebrew noun beema meaning Beast suggesting an augmentative meaning great Beast the word of God makes it very clear who created this great Beast Leviathan compared to the terrifying and unconquerable power of the Leviathan man's pride and Grandeur was nothing to write home about how much more humble is man in God's presence and that's the point neither job nor anyone else had the right to criticize God's work the one who created Leviathan is worthy of our reverence awe and worship will the one who contends with the almighty correct him let him who accuses God answer
him job 40:2 the Leviathan is a large aquatic creature of some kind the Bible describes it as a fearsome Beast with monstrous ferocity and great power the Hebrew word for Leviathan has the root meaning of coiled or Twisted Isaiah 27:1 speaks of the Leviathan Isaiah 27 verse1 in that day the Lord will punish Leviathan The fleeing serpent with his Fierce and great and mighty sword rescuing Israel from her enemy even Leviathan The Twisted Serpent and he will King The Dragon who lives in the sea whatever this monster of the sea is or was its strength
and wild nature were well known the beasts in the sea glorify God Psalm 96: 11-12 let the heavens be glad and let the Earth Rejoice Let the Sea Roar and all the things it contains let the field be exalted and all that is in it then all the trees of the forest will sing for Joy all creation is invited to join in the fesal joy as the Lord arrives to rule the world the heavens will be happy the earth will be glad the sea and all within it will Thunder praise the Old Testament contains several
mentions of the Leviathan according to most of these passages the Leviathan is a real creature that people knew of although they kept their distance and only knew of it by reputation rather than sight in Psalm 104: 25- 26 God is praised as the one who created the habitat for the Leviathan only a great God could have created Leviathan and then made a home big enough to frolic Psalm contains a similar reference to God's victory over Leviathan in that Psalm the pharaoh of Egypt is most likely meant what was the purpose behind God's creation of such
a magnificent animal and what was the lesson he intended to teach job and subsequently all of this the lesson was one of humility in order to combat job's inflated image of himself God desired to demonstrate to this man how small he was in the overall scheme of things by using job as an example you would most likely experience feelings of insignificance and helplessness if an enraged African elephant confronted you while you were alone how much more insignificant and Afraid might you feel however if Behemoth were charging you would it not be natural for you to
look to God for shelter and protection would you not quickly repent of any wrongs that you have committed Billy Graham once noted that there is no atheist on a crashing airplane certain events humble all men God used this most significant and most powerful of all land animals God utilized the first and largest and most powerful land mammal to help Crush job's self-righteousness God created this giant of mammals to Humble people who like job let vanity swell their sense of greatness and importance even as job was powerless against Leviathan as all men are so he was
also powerless against and Unleashed Satan set against him only God could defeat Leviathan and Satan all nature glorifies God and these two beasts honor God number four the many miracles of Jesus John 21:25 Jesus did many other things as well well if every one of them were written down I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written John wrote about the truth of Jesus but it was impossible for him or anyone else to capture the entirety of Jesus's truth there were many other things that Jesus did
and it would be impossible to document them all by using delightful hyperbole John conveys that there is much more about Jesus than what is known to us the many other things that Jesus did includes his ongoing work among his disciples and in the world today John thought of a book that continues to be written with so many volumes that the world could not contain them all we have no fear in taking verse 25 literally Jesus Is God and is therefore infinite there is no limit to the meaning of his words or to the number of
his Works while he was here on Earth he was still the upholder of all things the sun moon and stars who could ever describe all that is involved in in keeping the universe in motion even in his miracles on Earth we have only the barest description in a simple Act of healing think of the nerves muscles blood Corp pusles and other members that he controlled think of his direction of germs fishes animal life think of his guidance in the Affairs of men think of his control over the atomic structure of every bit of matter in
the universe could the world itself possibly contain the books to describe such infinite details number five some words uttered in heaven the three Heavens when the word Heaven is used in the Bible without a symbolic connotation it most commonly refers to one of three Realms as a consequence of this we discover that the Bible talks about more than one Heaven Paul shares visions and Revelations of the Lord 2 Corinthians 12: 1-6 I Know a Man in Christ who 14 years ago whether in the body I do not know or out of the body I do
not know only God knows such a man was caught up to the third heaven and I know that such a man whether in the body or out of the body I do not know only God knows was caught up into paradise and heard inexpressible Words which man is not permitted to speak words too scared to tell during this Vision Paul is unsure if he is in or out of his body he may have even been somewhere else entirely it would appear that in his opinion iion either option was a viable possibility what actually took place
with Paul is a question that may be asked by many was a spirit able to separate itself from his body and travel to heaven or was his body taken to Heaven together with his Spirit if Paul did not know then it is impossible for us to know either this is the main idea of the passage in fact Paul emphasizes the point by repeating the idea twice Paul identifies this third heaven as Paradise the word Paradise originates from the Persian word for an enclosed lavish Garden which in the ancient world was often exclusively found on the
grounds of Royal residences Paul does not explain anything that he saw when he is discussing this Celestial Vision only a shadowy description of what he heard the reason behind Paul being granted this Vision was twofold firstly it was for the benefit of us the people so that we could gain from the Lord's teachings that were revealed to Paul secondly this Vision provided Paul with the strength to endure all hardships in his ministry and empowered him to pass on God's message to Future Generations this Vision helped Paul finish his course this passage indicates that there are
three Heavens in total one immediately above the other the highest is what Paul describes as the third heaven it is the place of paradise and the place of personal dwelling of God the most sacred place in the universe it is passages such as this one that gives us the concept often associated with Heaven Purity or Holiness the words spoken in that place are so sacred that they cannot be repeated outside Paradise is the ultimate destination of all Sinners who have truly repented and who have persevered in the life of Faith sin corrupts and divides but
Heaven declares the glory of the Lord heaven is the Throne of God and because he is absolutely holy and without sin he cannot tolerate sin or look upon it without bringing judgment different men saw the throne room of God John has granted the opportunity and he relates to us what He observed during this time there Revelation 4: 1-3 after this I looked and behold a door standing open in heaven and the first voice which I had heard like the sound of a war trumpet speaking with me said come up here and I will show you
what must take place after these things at once I was in special communication with the spirit and behold a throne stood in heaven with one seated on the throne and he who sat there appeared like the crystalline Sparkle of a jasper stone and the fiery redness of a sardus stone and encircling the throne there was a rainbow that looked like the color of an emerald the throne is the focal point of this Vision as it was what first impressed John everything else is described in relation to the occupied Throne which was the focal point of
John's attention ition there is no empty Throne there is some one who sits on this great Heavenly Throne the throne is a strong Declaration of not merely God's presence but of his Sovereign rightful Reign and his prerogative to judge rather than defining a precise form or figure JN explained aminations of glistening light in two colors white Jasper May mean diamond and red sardius another person to see the third heaven is Ezekiel Ezekiel documents a similar Throne scene Ezekiel first noticed a fierce Whirlwind coming from the north then he saw four living creatures each with four
faces lion Ox Eagle Man four wings straight feet and hands under its wings the creatures represent God's attributes seen in creation his majesty power swiftness and wisdom consider the parallels to what John saw as we read through Ezekiel 1 the first thing we notice in our comparison is that Ezekiel provides a much more detailed description of the four living creatures in Ezekiel 1:22 we see a similar sea of glass like Crystal four remarkable beings were notable from within this Whirlwind of God's presence the cherubim are the Angels of special might and Glory who surround God
as Ezekiel revealed in Ezekiel 10: 8-15 cherubim first appear in the Garden of Eden those who guarded the way to the Tree of Life with a flaming sword we read they had the likeness of a man Ezekiel noted that they were not men they were Angelic beings not human beings yet they had the likeness of a man in general form and structure they looked like men as the descriptions show they were unlike anyone on Earth cherubim are a unique type of angelic beings and the Bible mentions that they have Wings the artistic depictions of cherubim
in the Tabernacle Temple and Arc of the Covenant highlight their wings as described in Exodus 25:20 the fourth person to see the third heaven is Isaiah the book of Isaiah is a fascinating one to study the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in 1948 and featured a copy of the book dated from 100 BC which was over a thousand years older than the next oldest copy which dated from 900 ad Isaiah's Grand Vision of God sitting on his throne in the temple surrounded by Heavenly Creatures shouting God is Holy Holy Holy Isaiah suddenly sees how corrupt
he and his people Israel are and he thinks he'll be destroyed by God's holiness but he isn't and one of the seraphim flew and burns him but not to destroy but rather to purify him from his sin Heaven is a true tangible Place John 14 Heaven is an actual physical location heaven is is neither a metaphysical term nor a mental state it is not a figment of someone's imagination make believe or pretend heaven like Miami London and Tokyo is a true and physical place in John 14 Jesus informed the disciples that he was preparing a
place for them this place was not merely a state of mind or a concept but an actual location specifically designed for those who have a personal connection with God John 14: 2-4 says in my father's house are many Dwelling Places if it were not so I would have told you because I am going there to prepare a place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come back again and I will take you to myself so that where I am you may be also and to the place where I
am going you know the way first notice how Jesus refers to his father's house and how many rooms it contains in this brief passage it's worth noting that Jesus mentions the word Place three times while some languages have translated this word as Mansions the reference is actually to rooms that were added to the homes and Patriarchs as their sons married and brought their wives to live with them in the extended family compound or estate the disciples were taught to begin their prayers by addressing Our Father in heaven in Jesus model prayer in The Sermon on
the Mount when Steven was stoned in Act 7 the bible says he saw heaven open up and Jesus standing at God's right side Jesus is the only only one who has ever been to Heaven before being born on Earth as a result when he speaks of heaven and Eternity he does so with authority and conviction our citizenship is there Philippians 3:20 in Philippians 3: 20 the Apostle Paul says but we are different because our citizenship is in heaven and from there we eagerly await the coming of the Savior the Lord Jesus Christ according to the
Bible we are pilgrims and Nomads traveling through this land known as Earth that is one of the reasons why we should not be carried away with it heaven will not be damaged by sin and disease as well as by pollution and disaster the planet on which we live is a gift from God but it is stained and scarred by sin God is preparing for us a new Heaven and a new Earth that far exceeds our wildest imagination the Heavenly City all over the world there are many beautiful cities however we have yet to find a
city that we will prefer to the one we return to at the end of our journey the word City appears 11 times in Revelation in chapters 21 and 22 it is the place where God and his people will coexist and because we will be living in that City in our physically resurrected bodies we will require a physical city to live in it's not some Fantastical place it's not just an idea it's a real place the city of Heaven Jerusalem is a city the New Jerusalem also known as the Tabernacle of God holy city city of
God Celestial city city 4 square and Heavenly Jerusalem is a Heavenly Paradise on Earth the Bible mentions it in various passages such as Galatians 4: 26 and Hebrews 11:12 and 13 however it is most extensively described in Revelation 21 the New Jerusalem is a city that is in heaven revelation 21: 1-2 then I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth for the first Heaven and the first Earth passed away and there is no longer any SE and I saw the holy city New Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven from God prepared as a bride
adorned for her husband he claims to have seen the New Jerusalem emerge from the heavens the idea of a new Earth with a new atmosphere in sky is a familiar theme in the scriptures many of the prophets both Old and New Testaments spoke of the new Heaven and new earth before I go any further allow me to paint a picture for you it will be the most incredible City that anyone has ever ever imagined this is the city that the Lord was referring to when he told his disciples it's going to have to be a
big place so let me impress this upon your mind and heart today Heaven the city of God will be the most incredible place you've ever heard of in Revelation 21: 15-16 the one who spoke with me had had a gold measuring Rod to measure the city its Gates and its wall the city is laid out as a square and its length is as great as the width and he measured the city with the rod 12,000 stadia its length width and height are equal the city Forest square is 2,250,000 square miles on the first floor the
city is 20 times as big as all of New Zealand it's 10 times as big as Germany are there really streets of gold in Heaven Is it true that there are streets of golden heaven heaven will be a location where the people of God are able to see God's face a place where they can have a close personal fellowship with God although Moses did not have the opportunity to see God face to face everyone who reaches heaven will eventually be able to do so all the heavens show the glory of God David looked to the
heavens not the spiritual heaven where God is enthroned but the heavens of the blue sky and the night sky the glory of God in the visible Heavens is for all to see it is communicated to all mankind no matter what their language it is a message that has gone out through all the Earth Psalm 19: 1-4 for the chief musician a Psalm of David the heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament showeth his handiwork day onto Day utth speech and night onto night showeth knowledge there is no speech nor language their voice is
not heard their line is gone out through all the Earth and their words to the end of the world and them hath he set a tabernacle for the Sun the message from the heavens is strong and glorious David poetically described the nighttime sky as a Dwelling Place a tent a tabernacle for the sun the sun comes out of its tent every day to cross the heavens and returns to its Tabernacle at night God is in total control of the heavens and even calls them to witness Deuteronomy 4: 26 I call Heaven and Earth as Witnesses
against you today that you will soon utterly perish from the land which you are crossing the Jordan to possess you shall not live long on it but will be utterly destroyed
