know what you're doing I'm telling you now Instagram captions are [ __ ] 20 times easier than anything okay and I'm going to teach you how to start doing them because it's what I did to start getting clients which is why I am in the position I am now okay I've cracked the code it's good [ __ ] so pay attention right what are captions I'm going to buzz through this I'm going to assume you're not a [ __ ] obviously not a caption is but captions are basically the the text under the post right

so post some [ __ ] underneath text usually also [ __ ] like people really don't optimize for this at all it's just the text under the post okay and you're going to get paid loads of money to write text under a post I'm going to teach you how but that is basically what they ask just the text underneath the Instagram post okay now the reason I'm talking about Instagram captions in the first place is because I'll be honest the day the day-to-day life of a of a of an aspiring copywriter nowadays is getting harder

with each passing day a new hundred kids from [ __ ] knows where are trying to be copywriters and they're trying to learn the skill and it's oversaturating the industry and because it's oversaturating it it's getting harder now what you need to do instead of whine and [ __ ] and send me a DM saying you can't get any clients is adapt now cuz I had the same problem I started 15 16 17 months ago I had the same problem I was trying to get clients I couldn't there was too much saturation it was so

[ __ ] annoying instead of whining and [ __ ] I figured out way to set myself apart from everyone else and that's what you're going to be doing with Instagram captions okay everyone's pitching the same [ __ ] this makes you different I'm telling you now n out of 10 of you are pitching email I guarantee it hey man saw you on my explore page doing anything with email PS I'm a homosexual everyone's doing it don't [ __ ] do that okay you need to set yourself apart cuz if you can set yourself apart

it's going to make it a lot easier to start getting clients cuz they are sick and [ __ ] tired of getting pitched emails and the reason is I'll be honest most of you are [ __ ] if you've never watched me before welcome to the show but if you have watched me before some of you still aren't good enough and that's why please understand the average business owner is getting pitched 10 times a day for email copyrighting and a lot of the time they'll say yeah they'll say yeah okay cool do my email copyrighting

cool whatever the issue is you're all [ __ ] and because you're [ __ ] they have a [ __ ] experience and after so many [ __ ] experiences eventually they're just going to give up and they're going to be sick and tired of seeing your inbox or your DM saying you're going to do emails for them okay they can't be asked to go through it anymore and so what you need to do is come at a different angle don't do emails come at a different angle still work with them but just approach it

differently so they don't immediately feel disgusted when they see your message [ __ ] hell now this is how I got clients with captions if you haven't already go and watch my client Outreach video it is the best video on Outreach in the [ __ ] world open a tab you can watch it after this one but basically it's going to tie into this method I I spoke about okay so here's what you're going to do go on Instagram find someone let's say Fitness coach find a fitness coach send him a compliment personalized make it

good he's going to get back to you I've got a screenshot here by the way editor get rid of his name I don't want to dox him he'll get back to you once he gets back to you you're going to write him a Google doc and the Google Doc is is not going to be an email like you usually think don't write an email don't write an ads none of that you're going to write an Instagram caption and the reason you're going to write an Instagram caption is because they've never been sent an Instagram caption

before this is brand new innovation okay this is brand [ __ ] new they're going to be like hang on a minute what's that literally what he said in a minute I'll show you okay but you're going to write an Instagram caption and and the doc is just that okay so what I like to do is find their latest post so this guy Fitness coach find his latest post it can be probably something [ __ ] bench press how to do bench press find that and then write a caption about that I'm going to teach

you what to write in a second but that's what you're going to write okay now did I write this here yeah there's three ways to write Instagram captions the first way you are literally narrating what's happening in the post so if he's doing bench press can this [ __ ] chair [ __ ] off if he's doing bench press and he's talking about how to do bench press in the video you are literally and I don't mean this satirically I mean [ __ ] literally going to write word for word what he says in the

video if he says you get your elbows and you push it this way in the caption you are going to write you get your elbows and you put it this way you are literally saying what he's saying word for word okay that's the first caption the second caption you can write is describing what's in the post so there's a picture of something something random maybe it's him posing cuz he's [ __ ] weird you're just you're describing what's going on in the pose okay and thirdly you write something to amplify the post so if he's

giving tips on how to improve your bench press in the caption you'll write word for word what he's saying in the post but you'll also add some stuff like uh tip like bullet points or have it one 2 three or make it easier for them to digest okay and I'm telling you this is easier than making toast literally it's it's so so [ __ ] simple okay don't come at me saying oh but Tom I'm glutenfree or some [ __ ] BR gluten-free how are you allergic to bread like you're literally allergic to money no

wonder you don't [ __ ] make any anyway this is the example okay so this is a client I had and I pitched him Instagram captions and the premise was he was like a self-improvement guy and he was faceless so we didn't show his face the premise was you have picture about a random Topic in this case addiction and then I write the entire the entire value of the entire Post in the caption so be addiction that's the topic and then the entire caption would be the value okay and this is about how you know

you need to be addicted to your [ __ ] goals to to be to be the best or some [ __ ] I don't know I wrote this like six months ago but this is something you can write okay so I find a post basically write all the information in the caption super easy and the reason that clients are going to want to hire you is because you got to understand these people and especially businesses and and also influencers are not getting pitched captions they they're not getting pitched here okay they're always getting pitched emails

so imagine this you're a business owner you go through you go through emails right let me get my phone you go through your [ __ ] inbox okay right whatever [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] hi let me write your emails hi let me write your emails hi doing doing anything with email hi doing anything with email hi I'm a homosexual I I want to do something with email for you blah blah blah blah blah hey doing anything with captions or hey compliment bang I wrote this for you it's

an Instagram caption you can use that stands out okay out of all the emails they're getting out of all the [ __ ] I want to write emails for you you're the guy that says no [ __ ] emails I want to do captions why what the [ __ ] would I need a caption for it's it's curious I'm like what I don't I've never heard of that before I want to know more okay it's super intriguing and as you can see in the picture here again editor annihilate his [ __ ] name off the

screen he was like hm interesting I've never thought of it like that can you send me that text and I'll try it out okay so he was interested he got back to me not because necessarily you know he needed it he was just interested okay and that is kind of the case you're going to be pitching people saying I'm going to write Instagram captions for you and they're going to think you're [ __ ] weird but that's okay for once in your life it's it's okay to be weird usually when you're weird in DMS it's

cuz a girl has told you to [ __ ] off cuz you've tried to say some weird [ __ ] in this instance you can be weird in the DMS you can actually be weird cuz it's intriguing and they want to know more right so bang you say you're going to write captions or you write them a caption and you send it to them and they're intrigued okay now super important I want to I want to preface this this is super important they are then going to ask you okay that's brilliant but why why the

[ __ ] would I need Instagram captions which is a very valid question why would they need in you you tell me you're watching why the [ __ ] do you think someone needs longer Instagram captions okay you don't know right no one knows I know cuz I'm a [ __ ] genius which is why it made me so much money but you don't know so let me teach you and I'm telling you now I want you to go over this part of the video at least three or four times that you can learn this

cuz this is important they are going to say Tom why should I hire you for Instagram captions what benefit does Instagram captions have to my business and you're going to say this [ __ ] watch this more than once they're going to go Tom why I need longer Instagram captions I'm going to say okay good question the reason you're going to want Instagram captions is so that people watch the video longer imagine this they go on your video and while they're while they're watching it they're also reading a really long caption at the same time

what this does is it keeps them on the post and as they're reading the caption the post is replaying numerous times one time two time three time four time while they're reading the caption and what this does is it signals to Instagram that more people are watching it and they're watching it for longer and what that does is it pushes it further in the algorithm and because gets pushed further out in the algorithm it gets more eyes and more eyes means more business and more business means more money does that make sense that's what you

say okay and I've said that [ __ ] 100 times which is why I'm so good at saying it but go over it and say it again that is how they are going to be confused they're going to be like why do I need Instagram captions and you're going to say listen I am going to tell you and the reason is because of what I said 25 seconds ago okay longer captions people watch the post for longer Instagram thinks it's an amazing piece of content even though it's probably [ __ ] they push it out

further more people see it because more people see it more people are interested in their business and because more people are interested in their business more people are likely to [ __ ] buy whatever they're selling boom cash okay that's why and you explain it to them like that they'll be interested okay and then you also say and I'll handle all of it you don't need to do anything I'll just send you the captions you tell me what videos you're going to make and I'll write the captions etc etc etc you make it really easy

for them okay now after you've done that because I'm telling you this [ __ ] works I'm telling you now if you go out and you start pitching people captions you're going to get a lot more positive reviews and positive responses than if you were saying let me write your [ __ ] emails cuz no one wants to do that anymore okay but emails are still the end goal now captions are literally a means to an end okay they are the way you get your foot in the door okay so if you want to [

__ ] a girl obviously you're going to [ __ ] her in bed but if you're going to get into a bed first you need to get in the door captions are your foot in the door emails are in bed captions are your foot in the door okay the ultimate goal is to get into bed but in order to get into bed you need to get through the [ __ ] door and that is what a caption does it simply sets you apart from everyone else okay so as you can see I've got a picture

here I was writing this guy [ __ ] go back I was writing this guy's captions and because they were so [ __ ] good he was like oh also by the way could you write my scripts and that's what you want that's what you want listen I'm telling you now if you go up to someone and you say I want to write your emails they're not going to [ __ ] they're not going to listen to you they they don't care they get too many [ __ ] DMS saying write my emails okay they

don't care but if you come along and say hi I don't want to write your emails I want to write your captions and then they say okay that's interesting and you go ahead and you write captions for them and you're good cuz you subscribe to me you [ __ ] subscribe to me and then you [ __ ] write their captions and they're good that is social proof you know what you're doing okay captions are like a stepping stone you want to get here do I have anything you want to get here okay but you

can't jump that [ __ ] far does this look [ __ ] on camera maybe I I probably look a [ __ ] [ __ ] anyway you want to get here okay you can't job that far you need come here you need [ __ ] something to step halfway to get there and that's what captions are you want to get to email straight away but you can't cuz it's too saturated so you need something to help you get halfway and that's what captions are you start writing captions for them they see you're good at

writing and then eventually that leads to you writing emails okay which I'm going to teach you in a second but that is the goal they are a means to an end I don't write captions full time my my job for my clients isn't writing captions I pitched captions started writing them showed them I was good at what I do and then eventually eventually started writing emails for them okay it's just a way to get in front of them it's a way to get moving it's a way to show them you know what you're talking about

okay like I said and then you pitch to write emails so you write captions for them a week two weeks things go well their posts get pushed further more views come in business is booming they're happy and then you say awesome man who's handling your emails very nonchalantly okay you don't need to be [ __ ] overt about it just be very nonchalant say awesome like this is what's happened this is the results Etc cool by the way you you got an email list like who's running your emails I'm running your captions who's running your

emails and if you're good at what you do and they don't already have a copywriter which this doesn't even matter half the time but if they don't already have a copywriter a lot of the time they will say oh no one or me and then you say okay well mind if I have a crack of emails as well I reckon I can see similar success and then you will what the [ __ ] what's in this anyway and then they will allow you to write their emails okay so writing captions is just a means to

an end okay if you're trying to get somewhere AKA writing emails it's difficult so you need to just go a different room and that's what you're doing with captions the goal is to write emails anyway that's the goal the goal is to write their emails you can get paid a fuckload more to write emails than captions but you got to go about it sneakily you can't just go up straight away okay I've just thought of the most awful analogy which I'm not going to say on YouTube but you need to like you need to like

not say what your main intentions are okay and then like go about it differently even though we all know what your main intentions is you got to like masquerade it okay that's what captions are you get in you write captions for them you do good work and eventually you say by the way you're doing anything I'm not going to say that by the way can I write your emails and they'll go okay yeah you're good at this why not have a crack at this boom now you are writing their emails which is what you always

wanted to [ __ ] do in the first place I'm telling you now man I C woman man I'm telling you now I have done this so many [ __ ] times I finessed the [ __ ] out of people in fact I know a guy that had two accounts and the first account he because I wanted to prove to myself this was this was [ __ ] true he reached out on his first account saying I want to do something with email and he got [ __ ] AED and then he reached out he

saying he wanted to do something with captions with a different account and he started writing for him and then about 2 weeks later he said I also want to write emails for you and he [ __ ] signed him okay so I know this works okay so start pitching captions with the intention of eventually writing emails okay telling you [ __ ] clean and then you go fulltime into emails okay you transition into emails this is what happens you write captions you write captions you write captions you do good work you mention email you start

writing emails for them you start writing emails you start writing emails and then eventually you stop writing captions so I'll say to them listen the captions are good but I think it would be better if I spent more of my time or all of my time writing writing your emails and then boom you're an email copywriter for them okay that's how and you get paid more right now you can do both I have done both it's just finicky it's not really it's it's kind of pointless right just do one don't do the other don't worry

about it they won't really care you're the expert say it with some chest be confident have a little bit of arrogance in your tone you'll be fine okay but yeah that's pretty much it holy [ __ ] did I did I not record this entire [ __ ] PowerPoint okay whatever stupid but that's pretty much it okay go and do it it's that simple okay it's that simple you literally you you start pitching captions you write captions for them with which is literally just regurgitating what's already in the video after a couple of weeks you

mentioned to them by the way are you doing it I can't say that [ __ ] H it's in my [ __ ] brain I swear if I say it my estrogen levels are just going to increase you say I also want to write your emails too they say awesome bang you start writing emails for them and then the guy that's still trying to pitch them email is not getting anywhere sometimes you need to take the longer route I'm going to be honest sometimes you need to just take the longer Route 20 years ago you

could just be like yeah let me write your emails now noways it doesn't work nowadays you have to be more Innovative and I realized that when I was doing this I was getting shot down every day no [ __ ] you don't want to do emails no [ __ ] you don't want to do emails no [ __ ] you I don't want to do ads I don't want to do emails I was like how the [ __ ] how am I going to get any clients when no one wants any my work so I

had to come up with something they might want captions okay why do they want captions well I know for a fact that if people stay on a post longer it gets pushed out further and if it gets pushed out further more views and then if they get more views more people are going to see their business and if they see more business they're going to get paid more bang okay that's my [ __ ] sales pitch and then you just reach out to them you say I'm going to do captions instead of [ __ ]

emails bang use your [ __ ] brain go over this video a couple of times it's not that difficult and then you make money okay every woman just smirked when I did that guarantee it [Music] right get off it
