[singing] So [music] I'm going to give all my secrets away. >> I love the passion that they both brought, the seriousness that they brought, and the fact that they're competitive with each other. Something I like [music] about it. It's getting [singing] hard to see you. Feels like I'm knocking on heaven's door. I'm [singing] knocking on, >> right? >> Different league, [music] right? >> I
feel great. And you feel great and we both feel great. Maybe they'll pick two of us. >> Somebody [music] won and somebody lost in that battle. [music and singing] Bury me inside. >> You deserve it. >> There are a few other people you may want to congratulate as well. [music] >> So you come alive [music] tonight. I will keep you safe. [music] I will keep you. [cheering] >> I will keep you safe. >> This is like the performance. The performance. And we're just kind of thrown together [music] in comparison to the other groups. The other groups have been like sisters or best friends forever. >> We entered the competition, all of us, [music] as solo artists, and then we got eliminated. >> Guys, for everybody else, I'm really
sorry. >> It was kind of like a moment of complete depression. It was a terrible feeling. in a girl [music] group, I could see us like hanging out like just as >> Exactly. We're like the same person in five different bodies. [laughter] >> This is the moment that [music] can change your lives. Literally change your lives right now. I think that we put five really, really talented people together. [music] What we want is a group who are going to take over all over the world. >> Um, [music] just to be really, really clear, if one messes up, you all go home. >> Nobody messes up. Everybody comes in on their proper times.
>> My mom said, if one of us like mess up, >> we all the whole chain breaks. >> We're not individuals anymore. [music] We are a group now. >> The reason why I'm here is to is to win With these girls and also [music] to support my family. I live with 23 people. Um, my dad works almost every day. I hardly see my dad. [music] And coming out here, it makes me miss him even more. Hearing their voices like, "Dina, Dina, what's going on?" [music] >> And know we've worked so hard and we have come
together as a group. This is what we want to do like for the rest of our lives. This is a huge opportunity And for us to get this far as individuals and then be put into a group. I think this is like [music] our shot and we just need to give it everything that we have. No holding back. >> Hi girls. >> Hi. >> Hello. >> All good. >> Yes. >> How you guys holding up? >> Good. >> Good. >> Yeah. >> Are we ready? Yes, >> let's nail it. >> I remember [singing] years ago
I should takeautaution [music] when it comes to love. I [singing] did. I did. And you were strong and I was not [singing] my [music] illusion. My mistake. I was careless. I forgot I did. >> [singing] >> Now all is done. There is nothing to say. You have gone into you have won. You can go ahead tell them. Tell them all I know [singing] now. Shout it from the rooftops. [music] Riding on the [singing] sky. All we have is tell them I was happy and my heart is broken. [singing] All my scars are open. Tell them
what [singing] I hoped would be. Impossible. >> Impossible. [singing] Impossible. >> Impossible. Impossible. [singing] >> Impossible. Impossible. I remember years ago someone told me I should take caution when it comes to love. I did. >> [crying] >> and tell them all I know now. Shout it from the rooftops. [singing] Riding on the sky. All we have is [singing] gone now. Tell Them I was happy and my heart is broken. Almost a roance. Tell them what I hope [singing] would be impossible. >> Impossible. [music] >> Impossible. Impossible. Impossible. >> Impossible. [singing] Impossible. [music] Impossible. [singing] Impossible.
Impossible. [singing] Impossible. [music] >> Thank you very much. >> Thank you. >> Thank you. >> I don't know what to think. Um, to be honest with you, >> I was unbelievable. >> Unbelievable. >> Yeah. >> The fact that we were able to go out [music] there and perform that well together. I really >> Exactly. >> It just reflects what we can do. >> We can only go up from here. >> Yeah. >> I don't know what you [music] expected. It's gone somewhere else. >> Really? >> Yeah. Yeah. Cuz it's interesting. [music] There's one clearly great
group here. This is going to be harder than I thought. >> Okay. to introduce his next act. Here's Simon Cowell. >> Okay, we have a new name change for boring reasons, but they are now known as 1432, which is I love you too. [applause] >> We entered the competition, all of us, as solo artists >> and we got eliminated. >> A lot of you really deserve to go further. Thank [music] you very much indeed. And then the judges called us Back. >> You are all invited to the judges home. >> It was kind of like
we were given a second chance. Wish I could pack you with me. >> I think that Simon made a really great decision in putting us together [music] because our voices work so well together. >> Simon believes in us. Like it's [music] awesome to have that support behind you. As a new group, we might not have the Advantage that other groups have and that [music] they probably performed in front of audiences together before. You got to believe it's your song like it was written for you. Now the name the name you've got we can't use for
legal reasons. So you've needed a new name. >> We came up with 1432. It means I love you too. >> 1432. [music] That's the one. >> We have to show him that we deserve to Be here and we deserve [music] to go through. Going home is not an option. >> [cheering] [applause] >> I've had enough. We hadn't seen each other in a month when you said you needed [music] space. Then you come around again and say [singing] I miss you and I swear I'm going to change. Remember how it lasted for a day. I say
>> I hate you. Of you know I forget the night but [music and singing] this time I'm telling you I'm telling you we are never ever ever getting back [music] together are never ever ever getting back together you go talk to your [music] friends talk So my friends talk to me but we are never [music] ever ever back together. [cheering] We're going to miss you with your rise. Falling forward, screaming that I'm bright and you find your peace of mind. [music and singing] It's on the indie record that's much cooler than mine. It all we
are never ever ever getting [music] back together. are [singing] never ever ever [music] getting back together. You go talk to Your friends, talk to my friends, talk to me. But we are never ever ever getting back together. [cheering] [applause] [cheering] Okay. Let's start with [cheering] Okay. Let's start with the name. 1432. Mhm. >> Okay. We got that part wrong for sure. Right. We definitely blew that. [cheering] Let's talk about the song choice. Very talent show. Very karaoke. It just sounded like you took the greatest song in the world and did a talent show version of
it. [cheering] Let's talk about the glitter and all the stuff. Horrible production. The bad news is that your your your mentor really failed you. The good news is that there's hope. [cheering] >> I felt like your energy just drew us in And you were very very on it and [cheering] I was pleasantly surprised. >> [applause] >> The thing is is I know you guys have potential because I saw your performance at the judges homes and that's when you guys really shined, but I feel like tonight there was only one person that shined and I really
it didn't click for me tonight. I I want to see you guys [cheering] click. I think you need more Practice together. You need to come out of your shell a little bit. Um right now there's only one person doing it for me. [cheering] girls, you know, I've had a lot of success over the years with groups. Um, I [cheering] have for a long, long time. And let me tell you, you are fantastic. There [cheering] is there is work to do. Yes, it was more of a pop song, but you know, hopefully if you survive and
the weeks go on, you're going to prove what Great vocalists you are. But there, [cheering and screaming] bearing in mind, you've only been together 3 weeks. And you know what, LA, the public are going to love this group. Thank you. Well, thank you, Demi. Who was the one that clicked for you? Demi. [cheering] >> Well, next up, we have my final contestant from my group, >> Demi. Who was the one that clicked for you? Oh, I'm They should figure that out On their own. I'm not going to say it right now. >> I know. And
I think they should know so they know how to work better together. I think that they should just all figure out >> you. >> Okay, we won. >> It took a little interrogation. >> We all shine. >> Camila. >> Yes. I think I think you guys should all Learn something from her. >> Let me ask you girls something. How's it been having Simon Cal as your mentor? It's >> been great. We really love him and we do super >> heart beats [music] fast colors [singing] and promises. How to be brave? How can I love when
I'm afraid to fall? Watching you stand alone. All my doubts suddenly [singing] go away somehow. One step closer. [music and singing] I have died every day waiting [music and singing] for you. Darling, don't be afraid. I have for a thousand [music and singing] years. Love you for a thousand [singing] more. Time stands still. Beauty [singing and music] in all she is. Every [music] breath, every [singing] hour has come to one step. [singing and music] I have died every day. Wait [music and singing] for you, darling. Don't be afraid. I loved you for a thousand [singing]
[music] years. I love you for a thousand more. And all along [music and singing] I believe I have loved you. >> [music] [singing] [music] >> Love you for a thousand [singing] more. [cheering] [applause] [music] There's a [singing] herero. >> [cheering] >> If you look [singing] inside your [music] heart, You don't have to be afraid of what you are. There's an answer. [singing] If you reach into your soul and the sorrow that you know [music] will melt away. [singing] And then a [music and singing] hero comes along with the strength to carry on. [singing] [music] And
you'll finally see the truth That a hero lies [singing] in you. Oh, [singing] truth are hard to follow. In [singing] time, you'll find the way. [music] Let a hero come on with a str and you [music] cast your piece of baby and you know that you can't survive. When you feel like home is gone, look inside you and [music] strong And you'll finally see the truth. That hero lies in you. [cheering] All right, here is the second of the group singing for survival. It's 1432. [screaming] [cheering] >> [cheering] >> I am watching catching tear drops
in my only silence As it's ending like we had a chance. [screaming] Do you have to [singing] make me feel like you're left to me? You can take everything [singing] I have. You can break everything I [singing] am. Like I'm made of like a paper. Oh, go on and try to tear me down. I will be rising from the ground like a Skyscraper. Oh, like a skyscraper. Yeah. Go run. [singing] I'm going to stay right here. Watch you disappear. Go run [singing] run. Yeah, it's a long [music] way down, but I am [singing] closer to
the clouds than here. You can take everything I have. You can break everything I am. Like I'm made of [cheering] like I'm made of paper. Oh, [screaming] go on and try to tear me down. [singing] We will be rising [music] from the ground like a skyscraper. [singing] >> [cheering] [cheering] >> Ladies, ladies, ladies. [cheering] You know what they say, when the going gets tough, the tough get going. And you know What? You did it. And I'm proud. [cheering] >> You guys definitely made me a believer tonight. I wasn't so sure last night, but tonight [cheering]
you guys, you got me. >> Or should I just say it once I >> I don't know who that song is by. >> No, I don't know who that song is by. >> Okay. You don't know who that song is. >> Historically don't know who that song. >> But regardless, you did better than the Original singer. >> You did a great [cheering] job, ladies. Let's get Sister C back on the stage. >> Next up, it's Fifth Harmony. [cheering] This week we're [music] thanking God for blessing us with amazing families, for blessing us with this amazing
opportunity, for being put together. We give thanks to him. >> I'm so thankful to the Lord. >> I feel like he really let everything like [music] come and come together. >> Nothing happens by coincidence. >> Everything happens for a reason. >> Words can't express how much my faith means to me because when I was born, I was actually a premature [music] baby and I was 1 lb 14 oz. I was so small that I could fit into my dad's hands. And the doctor said that I was a miracle baby. And I believe that miracle was
performed by God. And >> I'll never forget the doctor [music] told me when you were born, she said, "You were screaming." >> And I mean, it's unusual for preeis to come out screaming. Now it makes perfect sense. You know, you were born to sing. You were [music] born to sing. You were meant to do this. >> This did not just happen by coincidence or by chance. I believe that God [music] has placed this incredible opportunity in my life and have placed these incredible girls in my [music] life for a reason and I'm thankful to him.
My Dad's here. Oh my god. >> We are so grateful and proud. And I know God has a beautiful plan for you. You were meant to be seen. You were meant to be sing people. >> I want to thank our heavenly father for [music] my grandpa. You taught me to play the piano by ear and you [snorts] taught me how to sing and you make me sing at church. [music] >> God blessed me with amazing people in my life. My dad especially. >> I just can't wait to like see him and be like thank you
like for everything cuz he just does so much [music] for us. >> I really thank God for my mom because without her I don't think I'd be able to do any of this. I feel like she believes in me more than I believe in myself sometimes. Honestly, like it [music] wouldn't be possible. >> One of my favorite Bible verses is, "Do not be anxious about anything, but with everything by prayer and petition, with Thanksgiving, present all your requests to God. [music] Why you look [singing] so sad? Tears are in your eyes. Come on [singing] and
come to me now. [music] Don't be ashamed to cry. Let me see it through. Cuz I've seen [music] the dark [singing] side. When the night falls [music] on you, you don't [singing] know what to do. Nothing [music] you confess can make me love you less. I'll stand by [music] you. I'll stand by you. Won't let [music] nobody hurt you. I'll stand by you. So if you're making it, come on and talk to me Now. Hey, [music] what you got to hide? I get angry, [music] too. When I'm alive like you, standing [music] at the crossroads.
Don't know which path to choose. So let me [music] come along. [singing] Cuz even if you're wrong, I'll stand [music] by you. I'll stand by you. Don't let [music] nobody hurt you. I'll stand by you. >> [music] >> Take me in your darkest hour and I'll never lose you. [music] I'll stand by you [cheering] [applause] much to everybody who has been voting for us and everybody who has been supporting us. We love y'all so much. Thank you. >> Yes. Yes. [cheering] >> You know, it's always really really tough to critique after so much emotion and
being the holiday and the whole nine, but I kind of have to. And my critique is that that was great. [cheering] >> Thank you so much. [applause] >> I say what a beautiful rendition of this number. It was touching and beautiful and bravo. >> Thank you. [cheering] Thank you. [applause] >> I love watching you girls together cuz it it's genuine. Um I wasn't too crazy about the song choice, but you made it beautiful. >> Thank you. >> Thank you. >> I think you made it really beautiful. Your harmonies are always on like it's amazing. >>
Thank you, [cheering] >> girls. Uh I was crazy about the song choice. Uh [cheering] and I was also crazy about the performance. I think each of you individually were great. Vocals, the harmonies were great and it really felt to me that you've clicked as a group and I can feel the friendship. It feels real. You've worked incredibly hard over the next few weeks and I really hope America picks up the phone to vote for You because the competition just wouldn't be the same without you girls. [cheering] >> Fifth Harmony. >> Last week we went down
in the rankings. We were [music] seventh last week out of eighth. >> So I and it's a double. Oh my gosh, it's double. It's okay. Breathe. >> Then at the same time, like it was really hard to see Aaron go because we grew so close these last couple of Weeks. >> You guys got to let me miss you. >> I know. I miss you, too. >> I love you. >> I love you, too. >> But we have each other to lean on. >> All right, guys. You have a couple hours to yourselves, so enjoy. >>
This competition can be extremely stressful. >> Extremely like stressful. And then if you're going through anything, it's like You have four other shoulders to cry on. >> I don't know. I feel like he helped. Like it helped me being here. >> I know if I had to go through this by myself, I would probably go crazy. >> Yeah. >> Are you guys scared for this week? >> I'm super scared. >> I just feel like we have to figure out who we are. >> We just want to come out this week with like something unexpected, >>
something that's more us, more current. A song that we would put on our album, right? >> Can you see me in this? >> No. >> It was a nice little break that we definitely needed. And then we got some really bad news. >> Um, two weekends ago I auditioned in front of Simon Cowell, Britney Spears, Ellie Reed, and Demi Lovado, and I made it to the show. >> You know what? I had that feeling. >> We found out that Hie's grandfather passed away. Earlier this week, he was put into a hospice and today her parents
[music] told her that he had passed on. >> I love you too, Dad. My grandpa told me that he wanted me to stay here and [snorts] I'm going to I'm going to Dedicate this performance to him and I know he's going [crying] to be with me in the audience. >> And I know that he wouldn't want me to give up. He wouldn't want me to quit. As hard as it is right now, I know that he wants me to continue on. >> We're going to help you get through this. >> Yeah, we're here for you.
>> This is what we're here for. Like, we're each other's shoulder to cry on through [music] anything. >> I heard your news. A >> I know you. Okay. >> This week, we're definitely going to go out there and give it our absolute uhoh. Thank you, Z. >> [cheering] >> Harmony. [music] [applause] You know the bed feels warmer. Sleeping here alone. You know I dream in [singing] color and do the things I want. You think you got the best [music] of me. Think you've had the last laugh. But you think that everything good [music and singing]
is gone. Think you have me broken down. Think that I come running back. Baby, you don't know me cuz you're dead wrong. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. [music] Stand a little taller. Doesn't mean I'm Lonely when I'm alone. It doesn't kill you. [music] Makes a fighter. But they feel even lighter. Doesn't mean I'm over [music] cuz you're gone. It doesn't kill you. Makes you stronger. Stronger. [music] Doesn't mean I'm kill you makes you stronger. [music] And a little taller. [singing] Doesn't mean I'm lonely when [music] I'm alone. You heard that I was [music]
starting Over with new. They told you I was moving on over you. Didn't think that I'd come back. I'd come back [music] swinging. [singing] You try to break me, but you see what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. >> [music] >> And a little taller. Doesn't mean I'm lonely when I'm alone. It doesn't [music] kill you. Makes the fire even lighter. Doesn't mean I'm over. Doesn't kill you makes you [music] stronger. [singing] Stronger just [music] kill you makes you stronger and a little [singing] taller. Doesn't mean [music] I'm lonely when I'm alone. Thanks to you,
I got another [music and singing] story. Thanks to you, I'm not a broken hearted. Thanks to you, I'm finally thinking about me. You know, at the end of the day, your love was just Kill you makes you stronger. Stay a little taller. [music] Doesn't mean [singing] I'm lonely when I'm alone. What doesn't kill you makes a fighter doesn't [music] kill you makes you stronger stronger. Doesn't mean [music] kill you makes you stronger. Get a little taller. Doesn't mean [music] I'm lonely when I'm alone. Cuz you makes you stronger. [cheering] [screaming] [cheering] >> [cheering] >> ladies.
[cheering] >> Well, first of all, I have to offer my sincere condolences to you. [screaming] I'm really, really sorry for your loss. And I really mean that. Thank you. >> And I know that it's painful for you. And I think the lyrics of this song are Probably perfect for what you're going through right now. And my advice to you is to listen to what you just said and just stay strong. >> Thank you. >> Okay. [cheering] >> And the on the performance, I wanted groundbreaking. I thought it was good and I I I wanted but
I want [cheering] >> I didn't hear harmony. I heard a unison all the way through when you guys sang The chorus. You didn't sing the chorus with any like original harmony. There's five of you. I didn't hear an original arrangement. What I heard was everybody singing the melody. [cheering] >> I thought the song really worked for a group. I thought you guys, you can tell you've worked hard and [cheering] it's really good. It's girl power. I too I I want to tell you how sorry I am for your loss and it's so hard to stand
on stage and perform when you're Going through something and in such a hard time. I think that this was probably one of the best performances you guys have given. >> But I also have to say that I mean the energy got sucked out cuz you guys didn't move around or at least come down the stairs and I just felt like it was awkward watching you guys just stand there to an upbeat song. So, >> uh, well, actually, this this is an amazing an amazing amazing song. It's Actually written by two very good friends of mine,
Jurgen and Ally, who's actually in the audience tonight, [screaming] [cheering] also also known as Grumpy. But what a great song. And more importantly, what a fantastic fantastic performance you just gave. [cheering] You know, this is really, really, really important. It it this is the first time. I really really I can see you in the charts and I've got to tell you Andy, Your grandfather would be incredibly proud of you tonight. [cheering] >> Yes, he definitely would. You did amazing. >> I am very, very happy to introduce LA. No, fifth Harmony. [cheering] [music] >> Last week
we jumped up from seventh place to fourth place. What a fantastic performance you just gave. >> But now there's only six acts left and we're really feeling the pressure. >> Scary not having Ally here. [music] >> Yeah. Especially cuz this week there's two songs. >> Yeah. I'm just scared cuz like she has like big parts of the song, too. >> We're just a little nervous. Ally isn't here. She went back to Texas for her grandfather's funeral. She doesn't come back until Tuesday. And to [music] add to the pressure, it's an unplugged performance. And so it's
all about the vocals and the harmonies. and she's not Here to do that with us. >> It's scary. >> Yeah, it is scary. But at the same time, if we work hard enough, we could definitely make it to that top three. I'm [music] >> sure of it. >> Forget top three. We can actually win this. >> True. >> Touche. >> You go, girl. >> I think we have to get into the semi-finals. The song is actually pretty challenging, so we really have to step up our game. >> Fifth Harmony doesn't [music] do harmony. That's the
problem. Fifth Harmony sings and they sing well, but they never sing harmony. I can't stand when people say like, "You guys can't harmonize. You guys are incredible." And everyone needs to see that. >> Unplug is a perfect opportunity to Demonstrate our harmony. >> You got to push a lot more. Normani, you got to really own this part. >> I feel like there's huge pressure. I haven't had a lead part in a while. And I don't want to be the one to mess this up for us because at this stage of the competition, it's super easy
to go home. >> I think that I can do it. It's just a confidence thing. Like, do you want to win? I do. I just sing like it. >> They will have to do something awesome [music] to stay in this competition. >> All right, let's try it again. >> I feel like there's more pressure definitely [music] this week. Vocally, we have to be 110%. >> No money. >> What has happened with you in the last week? >> You know, you were chosen because you're good and you always got to keep your confidence up. a lot
at state this week more than ever, but we know we're up for It. >> It's [music] been a tough week. Alli's been gone. Nurmani's had it rough and everything. [laughter] >> Alli's back and we're definitely going to go out there and we're going to sing our hearts out and give it absolutely everything we have. [screaming] >> Fifth Harmony. [cheering] [screaming] And as I felt [singing] you were to claim it, it was dark and I was over until you kiss me. So you say, but there's a side to you that I never knew. Never knew all
the things you'd say. They were never true. Never true. In the games you'd play, you would always win. always win. But I set fire [singing] to the rain. [music] Watched it pour as I touch your face Where [singing] my cry [music] cuz I heard it screaming out your name. Your name. [singing] Sometimes I wake up at the [music] dawn. I must be waiting for you. Even now when we're already over, I can't help myself from looking for [music and singing] you. I said fire to the rain, watch you fall [music and singing] as I touch
your face. Well, my cry cuz I heard it screaming Out [music and singing] your name. Your name. I said fire to the rain and [music] my pillow [singing] to the flame when I f cuz I knew that there was the last time last time. [singing] Oh, [screaming] [cheering] [cheering] [applause] okay. Girls, ladies, I saw two background singers over there. I saw two background singers over there. I see five girls in front of me. I still didn't hear any harmony. You should I think Listen, boo. >> I think you have the wrong name. They should have
called you fifth unison. [cheering] >> You know, I felt like it was it was a nice rendition, but I'm just trying to Figure out what separates you girls from the other girl groups. >> I know why. You know what separates them? No one. They don't sing harmony. That makes them unique. Um, you know, I still feel like the group thing hasn't really clicked for me. You all sounded beautiful. I heard harmonies, but >> that was the four people. >> I still feel like >> it wasn't them. >> I feel like there's a couple of you
that should just be solo artists. [cheering] >> Well, you know what, girls? It's pick on Fifth Harmony week again because that was really unfair criticism. LA they have worked [screaming] on their harmonies and [cheering] you know what there aren't any girl groups out there at the moment you know there is a gap in the market and I've got to tell you I've Worked with these girls now for seven or eight weeks they are the nicest most humble group of people I've worked with and [cheering] I think they deserve a shot in the semi-final next week
>> that was a really hard song to do >> but Simon is this isn't a competition of >> nice on there every week in >> and the song is >> Give your heart a break. >> Give your heart a break. Fifth Harmony. >> Fifth Harmony. [music] >> The day I [singing] first met you. [screaming] fall in love. But now that I get you, I know fear is what it really was. Now here we are, so close. You're so far. Haven't I passed the test? When will you realize? Baby, I'm not like the rest. Don't want
to break your heart. [music] Why give your heart a break? I know you're scared it's wrong. Like you might Make a mistake. There's just one life to live and there's no time [music] to waste to waste. So let me give your heart a [singing] break. Your heart a [music] break. Oh yeah. Yeah. And your lips are on my lips and my heart spirit is one. But you [music] say [singing] that at my fingertips every time you want to break [screaming] your heart [singing and music] like you let me go. There's just one Life to live
and there's no time [singing] to wait to wait. [music] So let me give your heart a praise. Your heart a praise. Let me give your heart a [music and singing] praise. your heart afraid. There's just so much you can take. Give your heart [music] a break. Let me give your heart a break. Your heart is break. Oh yeah. Yeah. [cheering] [cheering] >> Unbelievable. I actually heard harmony [screaming] [cheering] >> and it was really good >> for me. That was your very very best performance. [screaming] >> Thank you. [cheering] >> Thanks, Alex. Thank you. >> A
friend of mine does this [screaming] song very good and so did you guys. >> Thank you. >> Cute. [cheering] >> You know what? I think this song should Have been your song. A >> you sounded so beautiful on it, Dina. [cheering] YOU KILL IT every week. >> [screaming] >> And I feel like you guys definitely sing it better than the original. America, thanks for the song choice. But seriously, this this I felt like you girls were a girl group, you know? It was energetic. It was fun. I think that Simon actually did a good job
this week. [cheering] >> Well, actually, and thank you, Kella. >> Didn't pick the song and didn't listed it. I want to thank America for choosing a great song. Um, and you know what? This is what we've we've been trying to do is to show that you are a legitimate girl group. With you girls, it's all about girl power. And we need this in the semi-finals. The [cheering] show just would not be the same without you. [cheering] >> [cheering] >> If you're [singing] lonely and need a friend and trles [music] seem [singing] like they never end
Just remember [music] to keep your faith [singing] and love will be there to guide the way. [music and singing] Anytime you need a friend, I will be here. [singing] You'll never be alone [music] again. So don't you fear, [singing] even if you're miles [music] away. I'm by your side. [singing] >> Don't you ever be lonely. Love will make it all right. [cheering] And the shadows are closing [singing] in. And your spirit don't finish. Just [music and singing] remember You're not alone and love will [music] be there. to guide your heart. >> Anytime you need a
friend, I will be here. You'll never be alone. So, you'll feel your mouth. [music and singing] >> Don't you ever be lonely. Love will make it all right. [screaming] [cheering] >> Good harmony everyone. >> Great job ladies. Great job. Nice. >> Right. My second group because Demi hasn't got any is >> shar. [singing] >> Last week we were in the bottom two and it was just so scary. >> The act that I'm going to send home is Diamond White. >> Just a few months ago we were [music] five typical girls next door. >> Oh my
gosh. We just got saved >> and now we are a girl group in the semifinals. It's insane. >> We have to really buckle down this week and give it absolutely everything and we want to make it as a good final and we really want to be there. >> Hi girls. How are you? >> Hi Simon. >> This week we got to choose our song. [music] We chose Anything Can Happen by Ellie Golding because we know how true that phrase can be. >> Last week you were four and look and you have had some criticisms and
I think it's a chance to prove that they're wrong. I think you have the wrong name. They should have called you fifth unison. >> We're not fifth unison. >> No, he's not fifth unison. >> Okay, let's hear it. >> This week, we're definitely going to be incorporating a lot more harmonies due to the fact that [music] LA is always getting on us about them. Alley [singing] [music] >> together. We be honest. Like the elements just work. >> The energy got sucked out cuz you guys didn't move around >> again. Here we go. >> We want
to make it as fun as we possibly Can because it's like our last chance. >> Yeah, it was good to them that we can be a fun girl [music] group that like we are. >> We want to show America that we don't just sing ballads. >> LET IT EXPLODE. GO WIDE. GO. >> They've got to rehearse nonstop. [music] Take it from the top. They need to be going over their choreography. They need to get their vocals down. >> They need to make it look like this is Something that they actually own. >> Wait, wait. >>
Us being here proves that anything [music] can happen. And I feel like we're working harder than ever to get to that finals. >> That's a wrap, girls. Awesome job. Thanks, Boo Harmony. [cheering] Stripped to the waist, we fall into the river. [singing] Cover your [singing] eyes so you don't Know the secret. I've been trying to hide. [music and singing] We held our breath to see our names written. On the record of 86, that was the year I knew the panic was over. [cheering and music] But since we found out, since we found out anything [music]
could happen, anything could happen. Anything could happen. Anything. [music] Anything after [music] the war? You said we fight together. I guess [music] we thought that's just what humans do. Well, now I've [music] seen it. And now I know the truth. Anything could happen. Anything [music] could happen. Anything could happen. Anything could happen. [music] Anything. [music] I'll give you anything you need. I'll give you anything you need. Oh yeah. I'll give you anything you need. I know it's going to be. I know it's going to be. I know it's going to be. I know it's going
to be. I know it's going to be. I know it's going [music] to be. I know it's going to be. I know it's going to be all right. [music] Since we found Anything. Anything. [music] Anything. Anything. [music] [cheering] >> [cheering] >> All right, ladies. [cheering] Okay, so that performance was [cheering] the very best vocal performance you've ever done. [cheering] I didn't like the waiters. Wasn't my Taste. I don't go to that restaurant. But um you know I thought that that was a re really inventive vocal and I was [screaming] proud really proud of you. >>
Thank you. [cheering] >> Thank [applause] you. >> You know what? I loved everything about it. It was like magic when you guys got up there and I love your outfits and I just love the fact that you're like, you know, inspiring girl power. It's really interesting. >> Definitely power. [cheering] Thank you. [applause] >> I think the dresses, everything. It was so cute and it just you pulled out the little sparkle that I think you guys need sometimes and working the stage. It felt really great. >> Thank you, [cheering] >> girls. Look, I'm not I'm we're
not going to kid each other. You've come into this competition tonight as underdogs. You're in fourth place, right? So, to get into The final is going to take a miracle because against who who you're up against. But after that performance, like the lyric of that song just said, anything now could happen. [cheering] >> Hi. >> Hi, Simon. >> Hi, girls. >> The song Simon chose [music] to get us into the finals is impossible. We sang the song before at Simon's home. We had just been formed as a group. It was just The most exhilarating feelings.
We just got out there, sat on those stools, and bured our souls. It's really fitting that we go [music] back to where we started with this song. It was such a magical moment and it was a time when we bonded as a group for the first time. >> When I heard you perform the song for the first time, I'm thinking these girls are absolutely brilliant. And what's [music] great about it is since we've already done that song once, then we can Do something different with it so it's more unique to you. >> We need to
go even [music] bigger with this song and we need to create a new memorable moment. >> The girls and I were thinking of maybe we could do a little bit of Spanish. >> Love it. Love it. Love it. We think [music] singing part of the song in Spanish might get us into the finals. >> See, the great thing about it is it's part of where you're from. >> I think it's something that we have that the other contestants [music] don't. >> Mhm. >> Uh-huh. >> Going into this underdog because we were in the bottom, too.
>> But sometimes [music] the underdogs are the ones that >> might. Yeah. And I think a shot is all [music] we need. All we need. Two, three, four. >> Make sure you guys [music] stay on the Note. >> I think adding Spanish could definitely be a great idea, but I don't know if doing the [music] same song twice is going to be the best idea for them. We are literally hanging on by a thug. I'm not ready to go home. We need to get to the finals. We want it so it has to be. >>
I really think you've got a shot. Just be amazing. And if you're amazing, good things may happen. >> Three acts [music] stand between us and Our dreams coming true. >> We're pulling out all the stops to make it into the finals. And we hope America responds with votes. >> Fifth Harmony. [cheering] I remember years ago someone told me I should take caution when it comes to love. And we'll be there. [singing] [singing] From the rooftops, riding on the skyline. All we have [singing] is gone. Now the bies go. All my scars are [singing] open. Tell
them what I hope would be impossible. So [music and singing] impossible. So impossible. So [music and singing] impossible. And now when all is done, there's nothing to say. And if you're done with The person on your own, you can go ahead tell them. Tell them all I know. [singing] Now shout it from the rooftops. Right on the skyline. Tell them what I hope [singing] could be impossible. [music] Impossible. >> Impossible. >> Impossible. [singing] >> Impossible. [music] I remember I should take caution when it comes to Love. I did. >> [music] >> Now shout it from
the rule town right on the [singing and music] skylight. Oh is gone now. Tell them I was happy [music and singing] and my heart is broken. All my stars are [singing] open. Tell them what I hope would be impossible. So impossible. Impossible. Impossible. [music] Impossible. [singing] Impossible. Impossible. [music and singing] [cheering] >> [cheering] [cheering] >> Okay, ladies. Um, you know what? This one This one's going to be difficult for me. I I I just think the song choice was a little bit Lazy cuz you've done it before. [cheering] you know, I've heard it and I
think you did a decent job, but you know, we're really at that place in the competition where the competition is stiff. You're trying to get into the finals. Your first performance, I thought, was a finals caliber performance. That one I wasn't so sure. [screaming] [cheering] >> You know, I felt like it was pretty Good, but at this point in the competition, it is stiff, and I would be really surprised if you guys are here next week. [cheering] The the hard thing about being the underdog is that, you know, you have not maybe a lot of
people supporting you uh on the judges panel, [cheering] but I think that it's going to come down to your fan base and how much they support you in voting tomorrow night. And I really hope that they pull through For you, but I I'm a little worried, too. I think you did great, but it's just gonna Is America gonna vote or not? [cheering] >> Girls, um, uh, I think it was the right thing to do that song because it was a reminder why [cheering] I fell in love with you as a group in the first place.
And and yeah, and I love the Spanish parts. And I I think you have been in fact no I don't think I Know you've been one of the strongest acts tonight [cheering] and and if we are going to judge based on tonight I I I really hope and I pray that America gets behind you put you into the final because I really do think you've deserved a place there. I think you've come such a long way. I chose this song um because this was the moment when I actually saw something special in these girls and
I think the lyric defines what this competition is all about this year And it is anything could happen. It's Fifth Harmony. >> This is $5 million on the line. [music] It all comes down to this. Tonight is the night and there is no second place prize. We were five girls from all over the country, but we all had the same dream. >> Nani had always seen as as a child throughout the house. >> Lauren at [music] two, she was singing, you know, the jingles from all the Movies. >> 3 years old and hi said, "One
day, mom, I'm going to be singing beautiful music in front of a lot of people. [music] >> I'll sing a beautiful song." >> When she was 11, Briana came to us and she said, [music] "Mommy, I want to be a pop star." And we both looked at each other and we were like, >> "What?" >> And [music] we asked Camila, "What do you want for your kinsera party?" And She told me, [music] "I want you to go with me to an audition." >> What do you do when you're not singing? >> I would love to
say something interesting, but all I do is sing karaoke and watch like One Direction videos. [screaming] >> This week, Simon has asked us [music] to go to his house. >> Hi. >> Hi. >> How are you? >> Good. Just sitting here now, it reminds me when I did first see all of your [music] first auditions. Interestingly enough, I can actually remember every single one. [singing] >> I predict that you will be one of our finalists. >> And then I remember I looked at a couple of you and I thought, you know what's [music] going to
work here? You're a group. [screaming] >> And then [music] this magical performance happened. [singing] When we sang Impossible, like something clicked for me and like I started crying because I [music] like knew I felt it in my heart that we were supposed to be together and that it was like meant to be. >> You are through.
