spreading teachings that distort the scriptures and Lead many astray it is crucial to understand with complete Clarity that being under erroneous Doctrine is extremely dangerous one false teaching has the power to condemn more quickly than all the disordered desires and sins of the flesh combined false preachers and teachers are leading more souls to Eternal damnation than all the drug dealers pimps and prostitutes together this is not an exaggerated statement but a reality that I firmly believe to be true a multitude of misguided and deceived Christians are singing and praising the Lord in churches held captive
by false doctrines thousands flock to teachers who preach teachings that come from deceiving spirits and as they listen to them them they exclaim how wonderful this is however this is not a matter that Christ overlooks in Revelation 2 in his message to the church at thota Jesus rebuked this congregation for allowing Jezebel a false prophetess to teach and seduce Believers within the church leading them away from the truth let's read Revelation 2:20 but I have a complaint against you you allow that woman that Jezebel who calls herself a prophetess to lead my servants astray she
teaches them to commit sexual sin and to eat food offered to Idols in the church at thoa there was evidently a woman who held a prominent place as a leader and Jesus calls her Jezebel obviously that was not his real name but our lord always identifies people according to their character and actions for this reason we see that in the gospels he gives new names to certain people and in this case he uses the name of the most wicked woman recorded in the Old Testament to describe her The Jezebel of the Old Testament was the
daughter of the king of sidon a city located in present-day Lebanon a region that is still frequently mentioned in the news today Jezebel was the wife of King Ahab of Israel ruler of the northern kingdom and is especially known for her Devotion to the god Bal a popular deity in Israel during her time Bal was considered the god of fertility and his worship included deeply immoral and Corrupt Practices in the temples dedicated to Bal there were both male and female prostitutes who participated in these degrading rituals it was Jezebel who promoted and expanded this corrupt
idolatry among the 10 tribes of Israel making it one of the predominant religions of the time in addition she herself financially supported more than 800 prophets of Bal who sat at her table and enjoyed her protection and support she was the woman who tried to end Elijah's life after his famous confrontation with the 450 prophets of Baal on Mount carmell in that memorable event fire from heaven descended and consumed the prophet sacrifice demonstrating the power of God although Elijah bravely faced the false prophets when he received the threat of Jezebel he fled to preserve his
life she was also responsible for the murder of her neighbor naboth whose Vineyard her husband King Ahab AB coveted Jezebel was known to be a ruthless immoral woman and a corrupting influence on the people for this reason Jesus uses her name as a symbol when referring to the dominant woman of thota in the apocalypse this Jezebel of thota called herself a propheus there was nothing inherently wrong with that and it is important to clarify that the problem did not lie in her gender but in their Doctrine the Bible tells us of other female prophetesses who
were highly respect Ed in Israel in the Old Testament several such women are mentioned while in the New Testament in the book of Acts we are told that Phillip The prominent Spirit-filled evangelist who preached throughout the region of Israel had four daughters who were prophetesses however the problem with Jezebel was that she was a false prophetess our Lord was clear in pointing out the error in their teaching it promoted the idea that there was nothing wrong with Christians participating in Acts of sexual immorality and idolatrous practices something similar was happening in the church at Corinth
where the Apostle Paul rebuked the church for its tolerance of this sin that was being practiced within the congregation dear listener we must not underestimate sin whether in the church or in our own lives we must not believe that our good works for the Lord give us permission to sin because just as the Lord is pleased with the good that we do he is also displeased with the bad that we tolerate in our lives in today's churches teachers with the spirit of Jezebel are unfortunately tolerated throughout the internet we have seen how women with sensual
attitudes position themselves in front of a congregation leading many into error in many churches modesty has been lost and sensuality has become a poison that is leading many to fall into sin on the other hand I recently saw a video of a supposed Church where Apostle diplomas were given to women where is the Divine call I I don't want to sound sexist but it is also necessary to point out that in that same church the titles of prophets and apostles are given to men who also do not have a genuine calling both men and women
without a true divine calling are infiltrating the churches teaching heresies and leading many away from the truth but the saddest thing is that both the leaders and the congregation in general are allowing this to happen this is where the words of Jesus Christ resonate with great intensity but I have a compl complaint against you you allow that woman that Jezebel who calls herself a prophetess to lead my servants astray dear listener it is essential that we reflect deeply on this matter the church you attend is of great importance it is crucial to pay attention to
who you are listening to and value the teaching you hold in your heart God's people are falling into the hands of Satan in many ways by submitting to false teachers and promoters of erroneous doctrines when people talk about giving themselves over to Satan many people think of addicts alcoholics prostitutes people with diseases like AIDS or atheists who reject God but no this is happening within the church in Evangelistic meetings religious conventions and even in the major seminaries one characteristic of a Christian who has been seduced is that he constantly goes from one place to another
seeking new and different teachings the Bible warns us in Hebrews 13:9 do not be Carried Away by various and strange doctrines for it is a good thing to have the heart established by Grace we must not be carried from one place to another constantly moving from place to place these are not the occasions when a mature believer goes to hear a true servant of God preach about Christ and repentance we are talking about those who go from one place to another from seminars to conventions from church to church from evangelist services to Healing meetings without
putting down Roots anywhere their ears are always eager to hear something new exciting entertaining and pleasing to the flesh these types of people do not come back because we refuse to give them what they are looking for they want to be flattered not corrected that is why they return to their teachers those who flatter them and promote positive thinking they resembl the Athenians who had no interest in anything else but telling or hearing something new Paul warned Timothy for the time will come when they will not endure sound Doctrine but having itching ears they will
Heap up for themselves teachers according to their own desires they will turn away from the truth and turn aside to fables now one sign of a mature believer is his refusal to be blown about by any wind of Doctrine these Believers cannot be influenced or manipulated by Any teacher they do not need to run from one place to another because they are feeding on the Rock growing firmly in Christ and enjoying Green Pastures they have circumcised their ears and evaluate every teacher and every Doctrine according to how it fits into the Holiness of Christ they
are able to discern false doctrines and are repulsed by new and strange teachings they know Christ deeply they are not moved by music friends personalities or Miracles but are driven by an insatiable hunger for the pure word of God there are only two doctrines that of Christ and that of Jezebel the Apostle Paul stated in Titus 2:1 in all things Adorn the doctrine of God our [Music] savior what is the doctrine of Christ God's grace teaches us to depart from worldly life and sinful Pleasures in this evil world we must live with wisdom Justice and
Devotion to God the doctrine of Christ will transform you to reflect his image it exposes every hidden sin and every desire for evil is your teacher authoritatively rebuking exhorting and encouraging you to turn from sin and cast down all Idols as instructed in Titus 2:7 are you learning to hate sin with a passion or do you leave your church meetings feeling unconvicted the message of the doctrine of Christ is reflected in 2 Corinthians 7:1 therefore beloved since we have these promises let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the Flesh and spirit perfect expecting Holiness
in the fear of God many write to us saying our pastor constantly States I am not here to preach against sin but to exalt Jesus no condemnatory messages from this Pulpit I am here to free my people from fear and depression even among Pentecostal preachers there are two extremes some proclaim a rigid legalistic Loveless Works spaced gospel While others preach timidly about Sin with empty messages and no content they offer false love and hypoc critical tears the doctrine of Christ is a doctrine of piety and Holiness if anyone teaches something different and does not adhere
to the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and to the teaching that conforms to Godliness he is full of Pride and understands nothing rather he is preoccupied with controversies and arguments over words from which arise Envy Discord slander and malicious suspicions some tell us my teacher teaches about hly however I don't mean simply using terms like Holiness and godliness I mean preaching these topics with full Authority the doctrine of Christ will not only bless you strengthen you and encourage you but it will also completely transform your life to the point that you will no
longer be able to remain in it and continue clinging to Hidden desires of sin now let's look at the doctrine of Jezebel let's examine this doctrine of demons to determine if you are at risk of falling into it the Jezebel Doctrine has three distinctive characteristics these characteristics are found in the Jezebel of the Old Testament who is the mother and personification of false doctrines Jesus made his name a symbol of erroneous teaching it is a doctrine that promotes the idea that something evil can be considered good and something profane can be considered pure the name
Jezebel in Hebrew means chased virtuous free from idolatry incredible the most wicked idolatrous woman deceitful and detestable in the entire Bible is described as virtuous and sinless something deeply evil is presented as something good but ironically is it really cast how when where in what way did it become cast at what time and in what place in the first book of Kings 16: 30 and 31 we read and Ahab son of omy reigned over Israel in Samaria 22 years and Ahab son of omy did evil in the sight of the Lord more than all who
were before him for it was a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jobo the son of nebot and he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of ethb King of the sidonians and went and served Bal and worshiped [Music] him Jezebel symbolized false Doctrine and Ahab was her victim the Bible shows us that it was not enough for Ahab to have a heart inclined towards sin and idolatry he allowed the satanic influence of Jezebel into his life which caused him to sink deeper into sin dear listener let me ask you a question
are you allowing a Jezebel spirit to operate in your life perhaps you tolerate a boyfriend or girlfriend who leads you to sin or perhaps you accept the influence of a friend who leads you toward teachings contrary to the word of God you may even be giving in to culture or societal ideologies that openly defy God if you tolerate Jezebel her influence will deceive you and seduce you toward your spiritual downfall just as it did with Ahab and the people of Israel in the Old Testament now the spirit of Jezebel was still operating nearly a thousand
years after the death of the historical woman doing in the church at thota what it had done in Israel a false prophetess or sudo Prophet had infiltrated the Church of thota however the most regrettable thing was that the church not only tolerated she also practiced her perverse teachings disguised under the name of gospel she taught that there was nothing wrong with committing sexual sins and eating food sacrificed to Idols today it is very common for false teachers Apostles and Prophets to use the name of God to declare God tells you when in reality he has
not said anything often they do this for selfish purposes such as saying God has revealed to me that you must sell your house and give me the money what great harm they have caused how many families have been affected by these false prophets these children of the devil do not care about the souls of people but only about their own interests they eliminate those who should not be rejected and exalt those who should not occupy positions of authority it is sad and painful to see how some church leaders treat people as if they were domino
pieces using them to fulfill their own purposes they believe that people are a kind of commodity that they can manipulate at will and when they are no longer useful to them they simply get rid of them how wrong they are sheep are not merchandise but souls for whom Christ shed his last drop of blood which makes them invaluable and worthy of great esteem I have witnessed how some pastors have failed badly in this regard like a worldly Enterprise They place people in church positions not because of their faithfulness Integrity or Holiness but for other reasons
such as familiarity because they are family members even if they do not meet the requirements of servants for their financial contribution to to the church to prevent them from leaving even if they do not meet the requirements of servants or by their talent even if their spiritual life is in Ruins this is what it means to give life to those who should not live assigning leadership positions to people not because they are Servants of God but because they serve their personal interests even if their spiritual life is a complete mess on the other hand these
false ministers kill people who should not die who are these people they are Christians and true Servants of God who work with dedication and passion in the work of the Lord although they are not perfect they strive to live in Holiness and the fear of God however they are never recognized congratulated or appreciated but they still serve with all their might in the local church where God has placed them they are killed by imposing on them heavy burdens that even the Shepherds themselves are not capable of carrying they are killed by despising them making them
feel useless disrespecting their Authority in front of others they are killed by being removed from their positions not to offer them New Opportunities or challenges in the ministry but because of the personal interests of those who lead them false shepherds are not interested in Souls but in their own interests and Ambitions as the prophet Micah expressed it in chapter 3:5 this is what the Lord says you false prophets are leading my people astray you promise peace to those who feed you but you declare war on those who refuse to feed them dear listeners let me
give you some vital advice regarding prophets and above all prophecies no prophetic word can be disconnected distanced or much less in contradiction with the word of God when someone declares the Lord has said the first responsibility of the church is to subject that prophecy to the filter of scripture if it is in full agreement with the word of God we can say that the prophet and his message are genuine but if it is not not then it is a human prophecy and a false prophet this was Christ's great reproach to the Church of thyra they
had fallen into the error of tolerating accepting and even practicing the teachings of false prophets especially those operating under the spirit of Jezebel seducing and leading astray God's people now even though this false prophetess was corrupting the gospel of Christ and becoming a stumbling block to the church deceiving many with his lies and debauchery calling evil good and good evil we can see the love of God reflected in his Mercy he does not want anyone to perish but for all to come to repentance concerning this false propheus the Lord declares in chapter 2: 21 of
Revelation I gave her time to repent but she does not want to abandon her immorality why does someone choose Darkness instead of light why does a person prefer to eat carab beans instead of enjoying the Delicacies served on the king's table why does someone choose hell instead of Heaven why like namon does he choose to continue with Leprosy instead of seeking healing the answer is always the same in the Gospel of John 3: 19 we read this condemnation is based on the following fact the light of God came into the world but people loved the
darkness rather than the light because their actions were evil my friend hell is full of people who had the opportunity to repent but decided not to in that place no one will be able to say God did not give me a chance right now you have the opportunity to turn to God and repent of your sins don't follow the example of King agria who said you almost persuade me to be a Christian this King was also given the opportunity to repent but like Jezebel he chose to reject it now after Mercy comes wrath let us
read verses 22 and 23 of chapter 2 of Revelation therefore I will cast her upon a bed of suffering and Those who commit adultery with her will suffer terribly unless they repent and forsake her wickedness I will strike down her children then all the churches will know that I am the one who examines every person's thoughts and intentions and I will give each of you what you deserve in these verses we can see a judgment not only reserved for the false propheus but also for all her spiritual children those who knowing the truth of the
Gospel chose to follow it even knowing that this placed them in opposition to God himself the message is clear Christians Who hide secret sins and desires tend to cling to and join false doctrines that only feed and justify their sins if in your heart you Harbor any sin impure desire or attachment to worldly things what you definitely do not need is a teaching that justifies your faults when David fell into sin with bath Sheba he didn't need the smooth words of a false prophet to remind him how much God loved him David required the courage
of a prophet of Integrity like Nathan to confront him with Divine Authority and declare you are that man the true preachers of the doctrine of Christ are those who with Clarity and firmness teach the people to discern between the holy and the profane the just and the unjust from their lips comes no ambiguity but pure and unmixed Truth Now this false prophetess Jezebel had time and opportunity to repent but she did not do so now what awaits him is a terrible expectation of judgment and a burning fire for as it is written it is a
fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God dear listener there is a time of Mercy but then there will come a time of judgment do not forget it God is love but he is also a consuming fire you and I have only two paths life or death light or Darkness heaven or hell with Christ or without Christ nothing else today is the acceptable day now is the time to run into the Arms of Jesus he is our only hope the safe refuge for our soul do not postpone the most important decision of
your life in Christ we find forgiveness restoration and the promise of eternal life he calls us to live a full life Guided by his light with a peace that transcends all understanding reflect it is not just a matter of avoiding Eternal punishment but of experiencing the transformation that only his love can bring to our hearts if you still have breath in your lungs you still have a chance cry out to him repent of your sins and allow the Holy Spirit to fill you with new life because in Jesus is salvation Abundant Life and eternal Victory
