sup guys Derek more plates Marnie Salaam today I want to talk about a probiotic that is super hyped up and supposedly regrows a significant amount of hair and this is the lactobacillus root sorry strain eighty CC PTA 6-4 7-5 so this strain or probiotic in particular got a lot of hype in the community after a article was published called probiotic glow of health it's more than skin-deep and in this you can see that rats that got this strain regrew a significant amount of their hair and the majority of the article is basically talking about how
great this stuff is for hair growth and how these shaved mice basically had way better hair growth in the you know other mice that didn't get this probiotic so obviously there's theories thrown around the community all the time like oh this is the next best thing this is the thing that's gonna work is the thing that ends it all for us and you know obviously I try them on its time nuts and I experiment with pretty much everything when it comes to hair loss stuff so anyways I bought this stuff it was really hard to
come across to find this exact strain but I found it and I tried it for several months and I can confirm without a shadow of a doubt that it made no noticeable difference on my growth rate so the whole point of this is not to offset energetic alopecia the literal point of it is to increase your or prolong or speed up the growth phase essentially so dramatically improved skin mucosal health was recently discovered in animal models consuming a probiotic containing yogurt bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla likewise mice fed a purified preparation
of human milk origin lactobacillus reuteri ACC CPT a 6-4 7-5 hereafter referred to as El Retiro without any yogurt supplementation also displayed the skin glow and exuberant hair growth that showed that probiotic microbes rather than the milk protein or nutrients such as vitamin D were responsible for stimulating features of features of dermal thickening folliculogenesis and SIBO cited genesis comprising the healthy glow effect obviously these images you know they look you know really enticing you see a mouse who grows you know a great amount of hair and the only factor changed is this probiotic but you
know not everything in rat studies translates into humans and this is one of those cases where the probiotic I don't think is worth adding to your regimen so I just want to make a quick video in case someone comes across that study and then thinks you know all this is the thing that's gonna work save your money I've already tried it doesn't it doesn't work that well if at all so I'm not gonna say probiotics aren't good for health though like definitely good gut health I feel like does is going to place some impact on
levels of shedding potentially energetic alopecia in general inflammation obviously it's all tied to your gut health at the end of the day but as far as like using this strain in particular like this very specific one to get a certain growth effect that you wouldn't get otherwise like it's not there so I just want to make a quick video addressing that I think you guys for watching please like subscribe if you like I want to learn more about hair loss prevention highly recommend you subscribe to hit the notification bell apparently it's super necessary to hit
