to make sure that every African-American under the age of 30, they're getting a lot of help from they're getting a lot of help from people who want to divide the world into colonizers and colonized and the oppressed and the oppressors. This is how a lot of the youth come to see what's going on in Gaza as some sort of an extension of the civil rights movement in America when it has nothing to do with it. Bill Maher brought on the woke idiot Van Jones onto his show Real Time with Bill Maher.
And Bill Maher puts Van Jones, the woke CNN host, in his place for his lies about the right-wing, his lies about Donald Trump, and for just ruining the country in general. Let's get into this clip here where Bill Maher puts his woke idiot Van Jones in his place as well as going after just the left wing in general for running the country into the mud. Let's get into this clip here from Real Time with Bill Maher.
Left and how can an alliance be restored? Mhm. Well, I guess they're talking about the old 60s when Jews were prominent in the civil rights movement and went in the south and some of them got killed and long that listen 1909 uh blacks and Jews backs were against the wall.
We had actual apartheid here. Um it was so bad that what we were doing in the US south inspired Hitler uh and inspired the Africconers in South Africa. what we were doing here, Blacks and Jews backs against the wall, uh, created an organization together, a black Jewish Alliance, it was called the NAACP.
Okay. Next [clears throat] year, they created an organization together called that we now call the Urban League. So, this has been every decade in the whole last century, uh, a disproportionate share of what was deepening and defending democracy were African-Americans who believed in justice for all and Jewish activists who believed in repairing the world.
And uh so we basically co-authored and co-created what you now call American democracy. In fact, if you like American democracy, thank a black and thank a Jew. You're welcome.
So [applause] there there is a deliberate effort on the part of Iran and Russia and China to drive a wedge and to make sure that every African-American under the age of 30. They're getting a lot of help from they're getting a lot of help from people who want to divide the world into colonizers and colonized and the oppressed and the oppressors. This is how a lot of the youth come to see what's going on in Gaza as some sort of an extension sure of the civil rights movement in America when it has nothing to do with it.
But the thing is uh there are some dumb ideas on the left or some reductionist ideas on the left. But we also have geopolitical adversaries that are jumping on that and making it worse than it should be. And I think what we got to remember is even if we don't agree on what's happening overseas, uh black people can agree that hostages should be freed.
Uh, we came over here as hostages. We're not for hostages. Black people should be able to agree that hate crimes against Jewish people are wrong.
We stood up for uh, Muslims. They were getting jumped on after 911. We stood up for Asians.
They were getting jumped on after CO. We should stick up for Jews. We should be able to agree that Hamas is not a freedom fighting organization.
They are a freedom taking Nazi organization. They did not deserve black support. Uh, and [applause] we should be able to agree we should be able to agree that both Palestinians and Israelis deserve a secure homeland.
So there are issues that if we we just Yeah. It's like um let me instead of answering the question, let me just virtue signal for 20 minutes and tell you how great black people and Jewish people are. Like thank you so much, man.
I appreciate it. You you added zero value to the conversation other than telling us about how how oppressed black people are and how much they built this country and and and all these things. And like uh I mean it just doesn't answer any of Bill Maher's questions.
And I also like we're all tired of hearing this stuff, right? Like I no matter how many times people like Van Jones go on Real Time with Bill Maher and try to tell us that you know if black people are solely responsible for the democracy in America and black people have built this country from the ground up no matter how many times they tell us that like it's just not true. No matter how many times you say it it's just not true.
Like I it's so like slavery very bad. Let me get the virtue signaling out the way. Slavery bad.
Okay. I agree with you. Slavery bad.
Now, can we move on? Because black people did not build the country. The country was actually built whenever, you know, whatever.
We don't have to go into that. But th this this sentiment that black people and Jewish people built the democracy in America. It no they did not.
And I'm so tired of hearing it. And then they they follow it up with all this virtue signaling, right? They sneak that in there so that you have to agree.
It's like um slavery was bad, right? And also black people built America, but also slavery bad and Holocaust bad. And so everybody's like, "Yeah, you know, he's actually he's making a good point now.
Slavery was bad, Holocaust was bad, and maybe black people did build America. " Like, no, man. You don't get to sneak that in.
I'm tired of hearing this stuff. Like, they would do anything except give credit to a white person. Like, they would do anything to not give credit to any white person ever.
And even Bill Maher is fed up with this. Even Bill Maher is going to check Van Jones. And I already has checked Van Jones right here.
disagree what's happening in Gaza. Don't like uh BB Netanyahu. There are other issues that we should be working together on.
I'm fighting for that. [applause] I I won't have much, but I want to say Kla Harris, Doug Mhof, the Black Jewish Alliance. Yay.
There it is. [laughter] It It lives. Uh all right, for the panel, what does the panel think of Trump doing Joe Rogan's podcast today?
And is it a mistake for Kla not to do it? Uh yeah, I think it is a mistake. I think it's a mistake she didn't do this show.
Yeah, she did. Did you invite her? Yeah, of course.
No, we didn't invite her. Uh, of course you should. We would have booked you for her.
I hate to say I hate to tell you. I hate to tell you, [applause] you know, I I I understand time. I hope and I I know she's going to be campaigning in Texas.
I hope she does. Uh the podcast, I think the more people see of Kla Harris, the more they like her. She needs to get out there.
I think some of that is a staff reticence that they had because of Joe Biden, which you couldn't put out there. We understand that. You can put her out there.
She's terrific. She's likable. She's joyous.
She's fun. She's clever. Get her out there, right?
[applause] For a guy who's not an official surrogate, you you're on the waiting list. [laughter] Uh what did the panel think of Trump's stint as fry cooker at McDonald's? [laughter] And it's, you know, I mean, I already addressed this, you know, it's like it's they see him differently.
I think it's brilliant. I think it's brilliant. I I I think I think I think uh when you have somebody who is a a world famous superstar, who's a billionaire, etc.
, etc. , and they do something you don't expect. It's brilliant media.
And I think we got to acknowledge that this guy is beating the pants off of us with with these so-called publicity stunts, it gets into everybody's feeds. Yeah. I mean to to say that Kla Harris needs to get in the public eye more because she's more likable and that's going to win her an election the most ridiculously delusional statement I've ever heard.
The reason why do you think that if Kla Harris was really this super likable charismatic person that she wouldn't be in the public eye more? Do [snorts] you think that she's just like that incompetent to where she's like she has this gift of charisma and likability and everybody likes her so much? I don't know why she just won't get in the public eye more.
It doesn't make any sense. Yeah, it doesn't make sense because she's not likable. The best thing that Kla Harris could do is just never appear on camera ever unless it's highly scripted and even then she's extremely unlikable and just just subweet Donald Trump and just talk about how bad Donald Trump is.
That's all that Kla Harris could do if she wants to win anything is just rely on people's hatred for Donald Trump just like Joe Biden did. Joe Biden is literally a shell of a human being. He is not sentient.
And he won the president of the United States. He became the president of the United States just because people hate Donald Trump. That's the only reason.
Um and and and to think that Amla Harris should appear in the public eye more because she has this crazy gift of charisma. Just one of the most delusional statements I've ever heard on Real Time with Bill Maher. And there have been a lot of them.
And people who are not looking at politics will look at that. I think we just have to be have more fun ourselves. We were having a great time during the Democratic convention.
If we have more fun, if our if the Democratic Party is a party of fun, people will join it. We should be we should be doing crazy stuff, too. [applause] And if I might add, one more thing.
It's like don't immediately just go to I hate him for that. Yeah. Which is what But but everybody I know here in Hollywood does that.
And it's like you're you're first of all, you look weak. You look weak. You look like you're so easily gotten.
Yes. You know, you look like you overreact to anything. You I think politics comes out of personality.
I'm going to do something extensive on this one day, but personalities. We're your personality first. I know people who are conservative politically because I know them.
That's just who they are. They're squares and [laughter] and and that's okay. And there are people who just like they think Trump is fun like that.
I don't get it, but I don't get Taylor Swift. [laughter] You know, not that I'm comparing them, but I'm just saying. I bet you would have I bet you would have bought me for Taylor Swift, too.
You would have bought me for Taylor Swift. [laughter] Turning you down. Yeah.
You got to you got to respect Bill Maher for what he's been doing here on Real Time with Bill Maher and calling out these leftists, bringing on people like Van Jones from CNN and and just telling him straight to his face like why he's incorrect. Like why why you're just completely wrong. Either you're wrong and uninformed or you're perfectly informed and lying to people on CNN and lying to the the American citizens.
It's one of those two choices. Either you are wrong and dumb and misinformed or you're informed and just choosing to lie on purpose and we need people like Bill Maher who was who are on their side to call these people out on Real Time with Bill Mer. Let me know in the comments what you guys think about this whole Bill Maher versus Van Jones situation here live on Real Time with Bill Maher.
