I'm Z and I'm currently studying fashion biology andology at Cambridge hi my name is Moren and I study sociology at [Music] Cambridge yeah hi I'm k I'm doing a master in philosophy in environmental policy at land economy I'm I'm studying class and I usually well first I'll make a plan about like what I need to do and like about maybe for example like for experiment exam I'll prepare for procedure and data analysis and travel shoutin and then I'll take notes and then I'll just try to remember them so that's how I prepare for exam just
finished one exam I put everything in my calendar so every single hour of my day is booked out between my studies my sports and my extracurriculars and food time and naps of course as well very importantance um I don't know it's just about like keeping your priorities in line like making sure that um you're achieving what you want to achieve every day so setting yourself an amount of time you want to be studying or an amount of pages you want to get through or things you want to do that day and just like sticking to
it no matter what and kind of organizing the rest of your life life around your studying I do the readings I I mean at a master's level it's more about reading deeply and reading widely so I think it's important to be able to close read and to pick out the articles that are good to understand and some good to skim to and uh it's really about your judgment call and understanding which is best for you I try to like sometimes I useo you know when I find myself hard when I find it harder for myself
to concentrate on certain things then I see those short breaks as a plus like a little triat for myself how do you split that time uh it's 25 five right I think I think so pumo is like 25 minutes of study 5 minutes break um at the fourth one you get like a 15minute break okay yeah and how how much times do you repeat um I set myself for 4 hours okay yeah including the break perfect not really I just try to do all my readings take as many detailed notes as possible and then get
the essay done hopefully on time uh no no on time uh no no more well I I I try I try one is timing myself so I study for 25 minutes and then I took take a rest for 5 minutes and then I continue to study for 25 minutes so that was one of my strategy so I think that's that's my major strategy yes and any other thing you do for studing takech no I think the most important thing is take so yeah not really but I do recognize like the importance of taking breaks every
like or like regular breaks every now and then um yeah not really and how do you organize your day for example for studying like um I like to kind of get on with studying as soon as I wake up so I like wake up shower get dressed everything and then like immediately start studying for a bit and then it's like if I've got something else to do that day at least already done something in the morning um so then I like exercise or you know like go shopping or do whatever else I have to do
um and then kind of go back to studying and yeah just in that kind of way I strive to strike a good balance between study and play right so I try to be as productive as I can while I study and when I play I I don't think about study and I think that work life balance is really really important especially when you want to be productive and you want to not burn out so uh maybe I'm not the best person to us because I I don't really study a lot I know some of my
friends they study for 8 hours but um I think that work life balance is really really important yeah um so usually I do Sports in the morning and then some studying before lunchtime and then after lunch a few hours as well and in the evening I spend some time doing something that's not study related so because my my schedule has experiments I have to do experiments in the lab so I usually do my lab works in the morning and in the afternoon and then usually in the evening I I went back to my compation and
